Remember what the Oracle said.
“Every story you’ve heard about vampires, werewolves, or aliens is the system assimilating some program doing something they’re not supposed to be doing.”
I assume that these events where people inside the matrix are exposed to extraordinary events, it falls into legend. People create stories to explain the unexplainable. Michael Shermer the publisher of Skeptic Magazine has a book, The Believing Brain where he examines how human beings come to believe things like conspiracies, religions and superstitions. To him humans ability to construct elaborate systems of belief come from the ability to spot patterns, what he calls “pattern-isity”. Life forms which are able to spot patterns of cause and effect are better able to spot environmental conditions beneficial to one’s survival. Life forms which hear a rumbling in the grass and assume it is a dangerous predator and run away are more likely to survive and pass on their genes. Life forms which hears a rustling in the grass and assumes its the wind, are not likely to pass on their genes. So we have evolved a predisposition to view agency in sequences of cause and effect, what Shermer calls “AGENT-isity”.
And if you think I’m reading too deeply, remember that the Wachowskis had Keanu Reeves read a college textbook on Evolutionary Psychology before reading the script for The Matrix.
I mean, anyone can create a forum-type website nowadays, but surely, you must be aware that you’ll never get the same "heartbeat" (i.e. community) of the forum you used to visit, right?.. unless you kept the emails of every single user on there?
Also, I know I’m just stating the obvious here, but it’s a lot harder than before to grow a community outside of social media. Most people don’t go out of their way to go on some website to talk about a specific topic. Everything is a hub now where you hand-pick your favorite topics and get blasted with everything all at once.
Anyway, I wish you the best of luck. I can relate to reminiscing about the good ole days of an online community.
These are your best options:
I was wondering the same. It looks legit, but could easily have been fan made.
It appears on two movie database sites, I also did a reverse image search and it doesn't appear to be anywhere else on the web. So possibly legit, which would be interesting with regards to the binary.

Thanks for bringing this up! I completely forgot that these came out. I just Googled this and found that they released a 20th Anniversary collection last year of the two volumes with four additional unpublished stories: https://www.amazon.com/Matrix-Comics-20th-Anniversary/dp/1932700579/

Check if Amazon or a third party ships to Australia, I think at least one of them does, but I don't know how expensive it gets.
Another, lesser known, required reading for the cast of the first Matrix:
Out of Control: The New Biology of Machines, Social Systems, & the Economic World https://www.amazon.com/dp/0201483408/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_QGPASRVP1V5G7BBNPT9H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Its a great talking point which shows how badly written Resurrections was.
Talking in general, you can infer that in The Matrix people are people and programs are programs. That is, there aren't programs just to "appear to be human". Each program has its purpose and we have no evidence of "undercover" programs.
Now for Tiffany. Yes, it is implied that the kids (and husband) are programs, because that is how The Analyst keeps Tiffany in check and use them to manipulate her. Nonetheless it has been widely studied that emotional bonds are developed regardless if the object of affection exists. As Satie's father said: "love is a word, what matters is the connection the word implies". Even if Tiffany's kids are programs, a bond should have existed and she should be in a dilemma to give up just like that such bond. So from Tiffany's behavior you have to understand she never loved her kids, which leaves Trinity in a very tough position.
Recently Wandavision made use of this approach in a much better way. She gives up her children but never gives up the connection which is what puts in movement the coming show.

That's basically the plot of Neil Gaiman's short story Goliath from the Matrix Comics Vol 1. It's a great read and it's available online https://www.slideshare.net/mobile/4ng3r1/01-goliath-neil-gaiman
It's cool right?! I got it from here (amazon, reddit isn't liking the link) The matrix 300 piece jigsaw puzzle loot crate exclusive https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01IA6ZOPG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_FY6S0GWDG0HGFR71DYS0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 if you're UK based. You may also have luck on ebay or the like, for other countries.

>Neo and Trinity never fell out of love with each other like Persephone and Merv
Because they died. That's the only way love is "eternal". Which ties nicely with theories of love. Are you familiar with them?

>Characters can be and have been proven wrong by other characters throughout all of the movies.
All characters speak the truth seen from each perspective, as they represent different schools of thought that are all right from their own perspective.

I'm thinking your philosophy background isn't that solid? If it isn't then I would encourage you to read more on it, its fascinating. Here is an entertaining start:

I don't like their breakdown, and their analysis are flawed and biased in several areas. Its kind of an overthinking kind of channel where symbolism is found where there wasn't supposed to be anything.
You need little more than to listen to DVD commentaries, and pay attention to the dialogue. Also you need to dive into philosophy to get a better understanding, try:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/081269502X
But getting right into Simulacra and Simulation and Decartes first meditation is much better.
Also... understanding computer science helps, for some analogies. It gives order to the realm.
This was my go to as a good into to Matrix and Philosophy: The Matrix and Philosophy: Welcome to the Desert of the Real (Popular Culture and Philosophy, 3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/081269502X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_52NWFNJA5WAXW3K2K8FX
And then took a “Matrix Philosophy 101” class in city college with this cool professor who wrote his own book. The class was a delight 👌 and they can tell I was the only Matrix fan 🤣 : Like a Splinter in Your Mind: The Philosophy Behind the Matrix Trilogy https://www.amazon.com/dp/1405125241/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5CX8BT2H7KS6PD90MHJ1
You can start with The Cave and the Light, here's the amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Cave-Light-Aristotle-Struggle-Civilization-ebook/dp/B003EY7JG2
Good luck
Don't feel bad man. There are applications you can get that will bleep out curse words and whatever else you want. One of the applications I've used before is VidAngel, which you can download on your phone. I think there may be a subscription but don't remember as it's been a while. Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vidangel&hl=en_US&gl=US
I was just listening to this podcast where they were pitching 2 different versions of Reloaded. They did some interesting things like Neo warping the space around him, and the real world being another matrix, but neither entirely stuck the landing.

It's not my job to provide sources to your claims.
I would highly recommend Riot over Mattermost.
Mattermost:
Android and iOS Apps are mediocre.
The self-hosted option is blah / Requires a license for full-set of features
No easy End-to-End Encryption setup.
Security, in general, is average.
Better in terms of privacy and security compared to Rocket.Chat, but not better than Riot.
>on Amazon has reviews saying it's not the best blu ray transfers of the movies.
But you only care about how The Animatrix looks, right? There should be only one master and disc encode of it produced, so it's going to look as good as it gets on disc.
Besides, Amazon reviews are known to be particularly bad often. For example, I weep every time I read the two most popular reviews of the 4K copies, as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/Matrix-Trilogy-UHD-BD-Blu-ray/dp/B07G2CJP6C/
The light strip behind my TV is from Amazon. The squares are Nanoleaf Canvas, they’re awesome but a little pricey.
Sorry for the horrid link, on mobile: https://www.amazon.com/Science-Fiction-Philosophy-Travel-Superintelligence/dp/1405149078
I own this book myself and there are a couple of chapters that go in-depth about The Matrix as a simulation and about "bodies/brains-in-vats". The Ultimate Matrix Collection (also own) has dvds about behind-the-scenes footage and filming stuff.
