Have you tried youtube-dl ? There's also a GUI option if you're not comfortable with CLI.
There's also IDM (Internet Download Manager) that has worked for me on some not-so-popular video hosting sites.
Use a download manager (I use IDM) it catches the stream and resolves it as a downloadable file from within the browser. Example from IDM homepage
It's pretty easy with do with internet download manager you just have to install it and the plugin for your browser and then a download button just appears on above the video. keep in mind it's a trail version for only 30 days
Iinet advertise the speed as 80-100mbps but not long after the TGP buyout they uncapped speeds for "network testing" and never bothered to cap them again. Presumably they don't advertise the fact because node congestion, cheapshit ISP-provided routers and slow 3rd party servers can limit what many users actually get.
I assume I'm on a fairly unpopulated node because while it'll drop to 120-140 down during peak congestion times it's pretty rare to see anything significantly below that, at least for local servers and/or multithreaded downloads (I use IDM to run http downloads at 16 or 32 threads, makes a huge difference when downloading files from overseas).
But yeah, as long as you have the right modem and a router that can handle such high WAN throughput it'll run at whatever your line is capable of. Most of the network uses DOCSIS 3.0 with 8 streams which is theoretically capable of ~340mbps though I've only seen it go above 300mbps once in the absolute dead of night on a weeknight - I nearly wet myself. Afaik they're also upgrading parts of Geelong to DOCSIS 3.1, some of the guys on whirlpool have been getting nearly 500mbps...
EDIT: Since I'm clearly a paid shill there's also this which does largely the same thing as IDM. I haven't used it in about 3 years though so I have no idea if it's still any good. The UI now looks like it was at least designed in this century so that's something I guess.
Free: Xtreme Download Manager
Paid: Internet Download Manager, TubeDigger
Of those, TubeDigger is my go-to. It's super easy to use, will download from virtually any site and has a built-in conversion tool.
If you just want to download NRL games use Internet Download Manager (Download a cracked copy) and just download from Livestream while using your VPN to change location.
Here's an example and the download button is in the top right corner
Yes, the none https mirror is now down, to cover... this was a pm I sent to another hoarder.
>
> I don't support wget on windows for reasons like this, or windows in general. The none https mirror will be down for the foreseeable future and this is out of my hands. I'm not willing to lessen the security on the remaining server because you can't figure out how to download these by other means, wget on windows is moot for reasons like the problem you're experiencing and you're better off using a manager like IDM if you're married to windows.

If you're not on windows and you're using a real os and version of wget, google, find out you need to recompile wget and do so (if --no-check-certificate doesn't work)
It reminded me a lot of a particular download manager software that was very popular back then because most of us were on dialup. The software broke the download into several parts to make it faster to download so this was sort of the same. It seems that he built a browser that had a lot of these extra things bolted on.
At the end of the day, it probably wasn't a proper product but for a young lad, it was very good. The media and people-that-be, sometimes blow these things up due to a lack of understanding and it makes you think how much they must do this for things that we do not have any domain knowledge of.
After a quick google search, the xwebs guy did very well for himself and now works for google and has written books on JS tooling so I guess he was something pretty special.
EDIT: I think this was the download manager: https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/support/about.html
What your looking for is called a Download Manager. I have used Internet Download Manager before and seems ok if thats the kind of program you're after. Here is a link, PM me if you need help :)
I'm a sponsor with buffering issues, and watching (or trying to do so) videos a day early also felt weird to me. So I use Internet Download Manager and then watch them on the "appropriate" days, yet before the YT release.
IDM is Internet Download manager and it's a download accelerator. The link will give you more details.
The way I use it to download pictures is once it's set up in your browser you right click on a page and select "download all links with IDM". For MiMP it looks like this, from there you select what files you want and then where you want to save them.
The likeliest scenario is that your internet/browser is inconsistent and causes the download to cut out part-way through. This can normally be the cause of (un-)archiving utilities (WinRar, 7zip) giving an error when trying to unzip the file since your internet/browser was unable to download the full file.
To make sure that this isn't the case, I'd suggest using a download manager such as the following to troubleshoot that it's not an issue on your end, either with your browser or internet or possibly something else entirely.
Yes, these are apps for your windows computer.
IDM has a "Site Grabber" and "Grabber Scheduler" feature. I've not tested that, but that should be able to sync files in specific interval. More info here.
First I found this link. Not listed there.

Then later found this link.

First check your network speed from Fast.com or speedtest.net
If your network speed is above 8 mbps(1 mb) Then try using external download manager like idm(https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/support/firefox8_integration.html).
I have problems using IDM with Some video web site. What should I do? solutions for them
I have solved it! If you use Internet Download Manager and use it's site grabber feature to explore an entire website, it will give you the total file count. This is sufficient for my needs. Marking as solved.
Can be found here: https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users. I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!
Here is link number 1 - Previous text "IDM"

If you're on Windows I'd highly recommend Internet Download Manager. Does exactly what you are asking for, does it with multiple threads and is still very well supported. Been using it for many years. https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
Personally I prefer using JDownloader 2 which is a great manager has everything you listed support quite a lot of websites.
An alternative is a paid manager (you can find a crack) called Internet Download Manager which I haven't used before but people like it.
Don't worry mate I too was in the era where you'd load an article and go do something else while it loaded. Then you'd open up a bunch of images and then go take a shower so the content was primed for viewing. Hopefully.
Internet Download Manager's hay-day.
jdownloader is only good if what you're downloading is in like 50 different pieces and is hosted on from sites like rapidshare, mega, hotfile.
For everything else, IDM is my top pick followed by Free Download Manager
Hey adraffy, regmo uploads his best quality 4,000 kbps caps. Cloudy can get really slow during certain times of the day. Sometimes trying a little later would help getting faster download speed, also using a download manager like IDM is recommended, as it can cut the download time by half or more. Cheers :)
Guys, use internet download manager to download it. Download IDM from here and then install it, click on add url and paste this link
There is no Lifetime license, it is a 3 years license.
2.Yes. It is safe.
Malware can camouflage itself as IDman.exe or any .exe so it really doesn't matter, trust your antivirus.
Yes sure but you need a download manager such as IDM[paid] or JDownloader [free] click on View generated links then copy all the link to download manager for download, usually I set to download 2 parallel links at the time.
We use 'Internet download manager', which still works fine. As you can see it not only lists the audio files, but *all that are available including different formats and quality. Here's an image showing how it works in YT:
I just downloaded them with IDM https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com

You could use Idm.

not sure tho. i dont need the pictures. just need the video
Well, for me, my purchase was like my redemption arc. I have used Nexus since Fallout New Vegas was released. I live in a country with a slow internet connection. The download speed cap is so painful because it was like < 1MB/s, so I used to "cheat" its download speed by using Internet Download Manager which somehow works back then (I don't know if it still works now). So when I got a job, I bought the premium, never regret my purchase because I make use of it with Wabbajack.
Yeah, There is, I found this on IDM's Website.
The only possible issue i see is IDM Not being able to use the word Document. If this happens you should save the word document (docx) as a text document(txt) or Maybe copy-paste the links into a new text documents.
Also, Upvote Please.
Internet Download Manager? It was introduced in 1999. Around that time, there were a lot of programs trying to add this feature because it was so sought after.
>Registered version works for your lifetime and has a number of additional features: no usage limitations, better utilization of bandwidth, built-in download logic optimizer.
Thanks! I'll look into changing the location of the temp folder. Yes, it must have to do with a common API both Firefox and Chrome use, which explains why both browsers behave exactly the same indeed.
I'm currently testing a third party program called Internet Download Manager, which seem to solve the problem.
I use IDM to download reddit live streams/ youtube videos and mainly todownload direct links(.rar .mkv etc) and basically any video embedded in browser!
It's literally the only paid software I have. I would say absolutely worth $25 ish I paid for lifetime subscription. Also you can try it for 30 days without registering.
Then I use free software xmediarecode to convert my videos to audio files. Cool thing about xmedia recode is that you can extract audio files from video source so no conversion is done and you won't lose any quality in the process.
I'm using Internet Download Manager (IDM) with google chrome extension. In most cases you don't need to download hours-long VODs since AfreecaTV has the feature to make clips "on the fly" from any point of the video. Here is small vid how it works for me.
try to read this help

hope you can find the solution

Hey, just use a video downloader or capture tool. I use internet download manager but you can use chrome extentions like this one .
"IDM Integration module" I believe
more info here
Yeap, I suspected you have downvoted but was not sure and there is only one downvote.
Okay, Thank you for taking the time to explain it. I agree I should have wrote a full sentence and I have added a second comment about what is IDM.
Since, He has tried so many things, including installing cygwin to use lftp, I thought why not try a native windows program that does apparently same thing as lftp (Multi-segmented download).
It takes 5 minutes to test, I hope you got my point.
P.S - I am not trying to fight with downvotes here, just could not figure out the reason.
found one. chrome just sucks balls at downloading shit. Try this instead. Worked really well for me . You can even use this to download youtube videos by simply going to the video you like and clicking a button that will be on the page once you download this. It will be the last time you ever use chrome to download something.
Get Internet Download Manager if you can spare the change. It was well worth the money, to me and it definitely works for the site you posted. I use it even if the site has an integrated download function and it's super easy to use.
> impossible to download videos from YouTube
I've been using this for years. You can try it free for a month but I found it to be useful enough to buy.
I guess a lot of us are thinking of making the best of this free Pornhub premium amirite...
I tried a bunch of things but this is the one that worked. Internet Download Manager
https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/download.html
Just click play on the video you want to download, let it play for just a second, click on the IDM icon, choose your quality and boom, you have your video for your permanent spankbank collection.
thank you, this page has helped me https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/register/new_faq/functions17.html
and I have installed the new version of IDM without losing my download history, Arrr
The best way is to buy (internet download manager)[https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/]. It downloads videos from every site I have encountered, has multi threaded downloading for high download speeds on slow sites, and has been updated continuously for years.
If you are using windows, download IDM (https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/). Copy the Guidelines link address and paste the url in IDM and you will be able to download the file.
I am using Internet Download Manager since years for everything Pay Sites and Youtube etc ...
It is constantly updated, you can open several Connections ( i set it to 4 ) in Settings.
You can resume if the Server Supports it ( most Sites do )
IDM with the extension for the browser (1 hour parts)
Videos from AfreecaTV are difficult to complete at the first attempt because of missing chunks. With IDM at least I save the download progress to complete later (maybe the next day after restarting the PC and modem). With other programs sometimes you lose the whole file when the download fails.
https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/download.html
IDM works on 90% of sites. It will pop-up a button you click to download. That particular link is hls so lots of small packets but IDM with join them for you
If you're on Windows, you could use Internet Download Manager. Otherwise, you could try pyLoad or Xtreme Download Manager.
Chrome + Stream Video Downloader
NP. It's the most popular download accelerator. You can fully customise what type of files go into which folder. By default, your audio files will go Downloads\Music directory.
https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/register/new_faq/functions14.html
IDM stands for Internet Download Manager, free trial available or you can use the 30-Day trial reset tool or pirate it from sites.
https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
This program captures downloads and downloads them faster as it claims but it also can download multimedia off websites. Basically, when you're on a website like youtube and you're using IDM, a little "download" prompt appears near the playing media and allows you to download it.
I've never been able to capture videos with soft-coded subtitles (subtitles that arn't edited into the video) but at the very least you would be able to get the video downloaded.
The website and the UI are outdated but this program is works well at what it does. I use this for all my downloads even for small files. Chrome does not handle large files gracefully.
It uses multiple connections to accelerate your downloads and offers resume capabilities for certain files.
It does have browser integration or you can copy and paste the link and start the download manually.
This is my method of downloading Real Debrid links from Kodi. I’m just like you I prefer Downloading instead of streaming. So basically say you already have your RD (Real Debrid) accounts setup in Kodi etc. All you have to do is go into the addon play a Real Debrid link for a quick second I literally mean a quick second it doesn’t matter if the links buffers via streaming. Once you play the video in Kodi for that quick second or however long. Stop and exit the video. Go to Real Debrid Downloads every RD link you play in Kodi will show up for you here just click download and you or golden. I prefer downloading with IDM because one connection downloading via Chrome from RD is not fast enough for me. The more connections to the download link the faster the download will be for you. Example having a 32 Connections to the download link maxes out my connection. You have to set the connections in options in IDM otherwise I think the default connection is 1. If you don’t want to spend money on IDM a Free method which also have 32 Connections is Eagle Get There’s crack versions of IDM out there. I preferred to payed for it instead. Also IDM extension has many advantages on streaming sites you can download the video example movies tv shows etc. I use that method a lot also for a quick download. Eagle Get has that extension also imo IDM extension works a lot better. The extension will be great for people who like FREE FREE don’t wish to pay for RD to watch free movies for free. I know the last method is outside of Kodi. I just feel like people should know that method also.
I suggest you buy Internet Download Manager. It's the best download tool period. It also provides extension for all major browser. It's not too expensive either. One time payment only.
I can recommend you to use Pigasus Player for playback. Your Download Issue could be related in a Content delivery Network Issue.
I sometimes experience slow Download speeds every some weeks but usually everything is fine.
A good Download Manager is Internet Download Manager.
https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
It can also resume. I set it to 4 connections in the settings so with that i always have great Speeds and no issues.
Looks like this: https://img-16.ccm2.net/N2Nbe0VQp4_2Y7XiZ2CnkD-ieC0=/a5440b31d9f64989b50e5a2d59584f63/ccm-faq/H9qjCZf-max-number-of-connections-s-.png
The only site i can not resume a download with is VRLatina.com who use bad Server Configurations.
The one and only Internet Download Manager. Been using it since 2013 without any issues. Regarding your issue though, it looks like there si some issue with the extension. Have you tried both chrome and Firefox? What site are you trying to download the video from?
> but once you get the hang of it, there's nothing better. A
Yes, there is and is called Internet Download Manager. And it doesn't requires the JAVA crapware like JDownloader 2.
Internet Download Manager Version 6.30
Windows
https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
A tool to increase download speeds by up to 5 times, resume and schedule downloads
Many people have suggested that this is one of the best download manager so i want to check it for couple of months and then see if its worth the buy
I use a link grabber called Internet Download Manager. (https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/) I've heard Jdownloader is just as good. (http://jdownloader.org/download/index) IDM can rip from Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and etc. I will say, I had tried to rent a movie on Youtube and download it and the link wouldn't show up, but as for every other time I've wanted to use it it's been available. This goes for videos, and general downloads as well such as progams, exe's, and music such as Pandora. I bought the premium, for IDM, but Jdownloader should function just as well.
Internet Download Manager lol.
Best download manager by far, in my experience. First 30 months are free, or just get the cracked version. Or you could buy it lifetime for 20 bucks.
I love JDownloader, especially for parsing a page of links to see which ones are still online.
However my primary download program these days is Internet Download Manager (Tonec).
Sounds generic, but it's a great program with really active support.
Yes 9anime Companion does change it, currently the extension allows you to download from F4 & RapidVideo, support for CloudFlare and OpenLoad are coming in later/future releases. If you want to download from CloudFlare or OpenLoad currently, the easiest way that I know of is to download Internet Download Manager.
I found a video that said that it was caused by IDM (internet download manager) which doesn't work properly with Chrome.
Other than that I have no idea, sorry.
Megadownloader or a download manager like IDM or JDownloader
Though the interface looks quite dated, and it is not freeware like Jdownloader: Internet Download Manager (IDM).
But if you prefer freeware, I'd say Jdownloader 2 is a decent option. If you do, please do yourself a favour, and get it as adware (opencandy) free version via this link.
Internet Download Manager works for me https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/ you just have to wait until the ads are over and the video file and what quality you want should appear. Just FYI, the files are .flv so if you're looking for something better quality have a look on the torrent sites
And I can't tell you that Internet Download Manager works great for this and works on Chrome/Firefox/IE/Opera/others I also shouldn't say that IDM gives a 30day free trial, and really should not say that post 30 day trial it's quite easy to torrent a cracked version...
Most of the time the uploader of the game will split the files into a gigabyte each in a rar file where you need to do a captcha to get the download link.
As for downloading you can download with JDownloader or IDM
Another alternate way is finding an IRC channel with XDCC bots that serves pirated games but that requires a little more work.
You now should be able to direct download games.
Yes, all devices are wireless. this is a desktop computer, but its not connected by wire. I cant use any with a wire, because the router is in a different room, and already being used by a different computer. I'll try asking my brother when he gets back. (EDIT: yes, he was having the same issue, last week. The internet was slow. He told me it might be since we have so many computers on one internet connection. I personally haven't had much problem with the internet. Download speed is crazy though.) My mom was having issues with her tablet, but I think it was just because its old. Her cellphone is newer, works fine. Just googled ISP because I wasn't sure what that was. Accordiing to the site I used it should be at about 14 mb/s. this is the DM I used: https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
I like it, but I'm not buying it, so once the trial expires I'm back to suffering if I need to download any large files.
Sounds like something that a download manager would probably be able to do. From a quick Google search it seems that both JDownloader and Internet Download Manager can do it but I've never used either so I can't say for sure.
Hmm ... works fine for me (as usual lol). You might want to try another browser or copy the link into your preferred download manager (such as IDM).
I've used IDM(Internet Download Manager) to do this for all kinds of videos in the past, but mostly Youtube clips. You do run into problems once in a while, but easily fixed. Quick tips if you have problems: 1)make sure Java is updated 2)Make sure IDM is updated 3) If video clip has a setting to increase resolution choose a higher one than default to help "find" the stream. (I usually choose 720p anyway) 4)make sure to wait until the pre-roll plays thru before trying to download the video
edit:I just tried a cspan video and it only gave me the flv option but it downloaded/worked fine.
Thanks /u/Animazing.
Yes, we can assist you in setting up what it takes to get you up and running. Our Virtual Private Servers are completely kitted out as seedboxes, the difference being you have full control of the environment (including superuser), and fully managed, we support every aspect.
VPS's are often called semi-dedicated. We take a large honking enterprise machine, and cut it into seven slices, each slice looks like it is the whole machine - but you are sharing some of the resources, others are all yours (in our case you are sharing CPU and the Network)
You're using a VPN service now? Did you try VPN direct to your Whatbox? Had you looked at using IDM with What? It does transfers over either HTTP or HTTPS.
