Thanks for putting this together! It took me a little while so I found an easier way to do this without renaming files
Pretty much same instructions as above:
Install the game (extract the zip into a folder)
Install the 1.3.0 patch to the same directory (extract and replace any file conflicts, run update.exe with japanese app locale emulator if you don't have japanese language installed)
Install the vr patch to the same directory (same as above)
Install the HF patch to the same directory (make sure to check the two addition clean install boxes, I didn't get the reipatcher shortcut on my desktop without checking this for some reason)
Copy the following items from CMD3D2x64_Data/Managed to CMD3D2VRx64_Data/Managed
> CM3D2.ExternalSaveData.Managed.dll
> CM3D2.MaidVoicePitch.Managed.dll
> CM3D2.Translation.dll
> ExIni.dll
> UnityInjector.dll
Copy ./ReiPatcher/CM3D2x64_NTLEA.ini and name it CM3D2VRx64_NTLEA.ini
Edit CM3D2VRx64_NTLEA.ini and add VR in front of x64
> AssembliesDir=%cm3d%\CM3D2VRx64_Data\Managed
> Arguments=CM3D2VRx64.exe "C932" "L0411"
Try Privacy.com to make one time use credit cards. I actually used it for the BaDoinkVR Black Friday deal without a problem. I only planned on doing one month for now, so I only put a $6 limit on the card ...it worked.
I use Privacy.com for all subscription sites that I'm afraid I'm going to forget to cancel.
Hey all, it's been some time but I've finally got around to finishing up this demo for you.

HOW TO PLAY A VIDEO
You are just a few steps from enjoying the VR!

So if i am a Sony PSVR Owner i paid you 29,99 EURO / month and now have to additional pay 3,99 EURO "per Video" to even Download a Video to watch it on PSVR?
I will report you at Epoch for ripping off Subscribers and i deepest hope many Adult VR Review Sites Pro's read this to warn people of your new Rip Off Business Model.
Hopefully Epoch cuts your payment Service. And hopefully you get banned of OCULUS NSFW.
Abused? Us fellow Members who paid YOU with Subscriptions while some few pirated. You never did anything fighting back DMCA that some offered your Media at DDL Sites? And now you treat your customers like shit for that we paid you?
Just drown RL ...
Demographic is too small when a large percent of the work of the (currently small) market is largely hobbyist. As VR gets more popular such niches will surely get filled in with time.
Might interest you to checkout the cathouse tale ( https://www.patreon.com/thecathousetale ), it's still very early but you can have a female character, ableit, it's furry so it may not be your cup of tea though.
I had a lot of problems in the past with terrible connections speeds with SLR, but they almost completely went away when I started using a VPN. I stream rather than download, and I still get the odd day when things are buffering more than they should, probably due to slow VPN servers, but the vast majority of the time it works very well. If anybody's throttling you then I doubt it's SLR, that would make no sense at all, it's much more likely to be the ISP. Currently I have NordVPN sideloaded to the Quest, before that I used Surfshark, and both worked pretty well.
I'm assuming what's happening is your player is trying to decode HEVC files on the CPU, which it's too slow. No problem though, because you can use your GTX 1080 to accelerate the video!
You need to install LAV Filters and enable CUVID in the video options, which will let the GTX handle all the heavy lifting. In DeoVR, enable the DirectShow option to use this decoder.

Good luck fellow VR lover!

new features with this update.
The answer to this is nearly always that it's your ISP throttling the site and that you need to use a VPN.
Find a VPN with a free 30-day (or higher) money-back return policy (NordVPN, HotSpotShield, etc.) and give it a try. Can virtually guarantee it will solve your speed issues.
I used to get like <5 MB/s. Tried a "free" VPN, but it didn't help and I got annoyed (not realizing at the time that the free versions are all basically garbage). Finally paid for real VPN figuring I could get my money back if it didn't work, but now I get 20-30 MB/s regularly with no issues.
Yes, I have a Daydream View headset and it works fine. Get the app VRTV from the Play Store.
The app won't appear in the Daydream menu right now, because Google is curating the Daydream store for the next month or two. You'll have to turn off NFC (so that Daydream doesn't launch), open the video in VRTV, and then put your phone in the headset. There's also no controller support yet, but the VRTV dev is working on that right now.
TL;DR: It works, slightly janky at the moment but will improve soon.
Oops. Wrong video link, this is the one I wanted to share: https://vimeo.com/198526815

This is why i always use privacy.com for all my subscriptions. I just use a new burner card everytime i get a subscription and then cancel it right after so i dont get any unexpected charges.
They can't use Paypal. Paypal don't allow porn sites, its in their AUP.
> You may not use the PayPal service for activities that: relate to transactions involving (h) certain sexually oriented materials or services.
Did you load the K-Lite video codecs? They're needed to view most videos.
What should happen is you see a white screen until the video is loaded. We're able to put a screenshot up (click to play for example). If there's further problems, post on the /r/JanusVR sub-reddit.
I can never get enough of Stella but the costume looks so cheap and terrible, I mean there are better options, cheap options on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Costume-stewardess-Rompers-Lingerie-Cosplay/dp/B01LX4H05U/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1490174658&sr=8-6&keywords=sexy+stewardess+costume
Really good answer. Pretty much how I got mine set up. 100% you need to turn off transcoding!!!!! If you are stuck with wifi only you can try sending from the laptop on standard 2.4 GHz and receiving on the phone on 5 GHz if that's an option you have (or vice-versa maybe I haven't tried), videos under 25Mbps always worked well for me, over was laggy sometimes.
This is a killer router for the price https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-AC2300-Smart-WiFi-Router/dp/B06XZ3S6B8 even the current amazon price is good, I got it for $99 on sale, in a lot of ways it's as good or better then a Nighthawk and way better for the price. I can watch vids both ways over wifi, although I stay plugged in because here and there I get lag depended on what my old ass computer is doing but don't over network, a newer machine would probably fair better.
I have the s7. I like VR porn. I was debating upgrading my phone to improve my VR porn experience. I purchased a used oculus go for $120 instead. I am happy with my choice.
The go does not overheat. The go does not drain my phone battery. I do not take my go in public with porn on it. I can pick any kind of phone i like. The go is slightly more clear than my s7.
The downside is that I am limited to 4k videos. 5k is totally better. 5k videos look better on the oculus go as a single frame. They do not play smoothly. I hear that 4800px wide h264 will play on the go. I have not found those videos in the wild. My computer VR will not even play 5k videos smoothly.
Not what you asked for but I am glad I paid $120 for an oculus go and can pick the best phone as a phone for my phone needs.
I just kept my s7. The pocophone was enticing for $300.

Negatory.
You could format the SD card to EXFAT using a PC (not totally sure, but I think you have to do it on a PC for it to work properly) and then it will recognise files larger than 4GB. EXFAT is a good file system to use, not the best; but for storage of large video files on a phone means it is perfect for this use.
I found out that you can also use android air to transfer files larger than 4GB directly to the SD card, although I have had it fail 1st time maybe 1/10 I tried copying; it did work after retrying immediately however.
Also if you have a fast network, fast transfer speeds. here is the link to Android Air You also need the desktop app.
Hope this helps!
Edit: Formatting!

Discretion and Professionalism.
Luckily he's since told me he's fine with people knowing it's him.
I tried doing a demo for it, and it turned out better than I expected (though still worse than I hoped) so I figured I'd upload it. It's not much, but it's something.
https://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_p20_pro-9106.php
It's using the Mali GPU, IDK much about the CPU Hisilicon Kirin 970. The Mali-G72 MP12 is the lower end GPU compared to the Mali-G72 MP20 used in the S9. It may have the hardware decoding though (probably ???), you would have to spend some time looking up info on that chip.
The screen in the p20 is 2240 x 1080 pixels (~408 ppi density) compared to the S9+ 2960 x 1440 pixels (~529 ppi density) so that's a not at all insignificant drop in quality.
I'd recommend using https://privacy.com/
You can make virtual cards with monthly spending limits or make them one-time use. If you ever want to cancel a subscription you can just delete the card so you can't be charged, saves a ton of headache with some sites
This is how you can compile it right now, until the free UNITY engine gets default OCULUS support (it will happen allegedly with the UNITY 5 version):
1.) Either you can activate the "UNITY PRO Trial" that you get to any new Unity account. I think you can simply create a new one if you already activated it once.
2.) Or you can look around on PirateBay or any other torrent portal (of course depending on your country this can be illegal, so maybe you should not, although in some countries the law does not care much about it), people say there are fully working installs.
3.) As much as I know for Oculus there is some sort of extended-UNITY-PRO-Trial, but I am not sure about this: http://unity3d.com/company/public-relations/news/oculus-rift-developers-get-extra-support-from-unity
Ok, basically you have 3 options to do this yourself.
You will also need to install the "Unity 4 Pro Integration" plugin.

I hope it was clear that it's just my opinion with my own eyes which I think are decent (I have 20/20, no glasses or problems) but someone already said it could just be a placebo which I can't really argue against. It's definitely not a placebo that the "OS" (for lack of a better term) and videos were much smoother on the Go.
I tried really hard to do apples-to-apples going back and forth on the same video files (usually CzechVR since some of their videos have the best picture quality imo) and to me there was a bit less SDE on the Go. Did I feel that way because I wanted it to be the case? I don't think so but perhaps.
switching gears to pixel density maybe you could tell me if I went about this wrong or if my data source was inaccurate? I primarily used the website GSMArena to look at specs for example here on their S7 page they list ~577 ppi density. As you said on the S7 Edge they list ~534.
again in line with what you said S8 and S8+ they say has ~570 and ~529, slightly lower than S7.
Here's where I get confused... I thought the S9 was supposed to have a better screen but GSMArena says the S9 is again ~570 and the S9+ ~529 which is basically the exact same specs as the S8.
So I don't get why the S9 will play "5K" files but the screen resolution hasn't changed (1440p) and the ppi is still less than a S7. Like, wouldn't it really be all the same in terms of the screen and SDE? I get that the S8/S9 have better processor and so should be smoother but SDE should be about the same right? That's why I went with a S7 over an S8 in the first place and didn't bother with a S9.
Kind of a moot point now I suppose as I've got the Go and will be using that.
You'll likely need a codec pack contaning the H.265 (HEVC) codec.
Download from here: https://www.fosshub.com/LAV-Filters.html
And use the LAV Configuration Utility to set up hardware decoding like mine: https://i.imgur.com/5C4yYkR.png
My suggestion is to download the LAV filters if you haven't already done so: https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases
It has a video configuration where you can set what type of hardware acceleration to use. See if that makes a difference.
Also I know that the video path used can make a huge difference. Having the player use FFDSHOW is usually much faster than MediaFoundation for example. I don't use VLC so I'm not sure where the settings for that stuff is.
ok that's a beefy router. Are you connected via 5ghz? Using the routers USB to hook up a drive is gonna give you a bad performance, but you said you also tried running the server on your pc, so... have you tried using this: http://www.universalmediaserver.com/ ? I've had a much better performance with UMS then with Plex, might wanna give it a shot
Edit: I long ago switched to the western digital my cloud NAS, it's super convenient because you don't have to fumble around with starting the media server and it has a good enough performance to stream 4k without hiccups
For anyone who has the same issue.
1) Press Y to get SBS video mode.
2) Install the KLite codec pack from here.
http://www.codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_basic.htm
Agree to uninstall current pack when prompted.
Totally agree. My best thing these days: weed, video with a beautiful girl, mute, playback speed 50%, play acid music (https://www.di.fm/oldschoolacid), tenga flip hole. I get the most intense orgasms of my life. Slow motion really improves the experience somehow.
You should try a download manager. I use ninjadownloadmanager.com - prevents issues with having to restart the download when it fails, even when the download link from the site expires - you can just right click the file, click "refresh download link", and kick it off from the site again, and it'll resume the download. It can also download the file in multiple parts with multiple connections at once, which helps you max out that speed a lot better.
We have a brand new and revamped SLR Interactive app for your devices! We are looking into getting it on iOS, but can't make any promises.

Requirements:
- Android 8.0 or newer
- BT BLE
- One of the compatible toys

Great job Devs!!
there is hardware limitation ..bitrate and resolution
wat's your phone model?
look for an app that supports H/W Decoding
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deovr.cardboard only supports local
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.chai.vrtv&hl=en_US supports SMB
I bought this pack, the velcro is incredibly sticky in comparison. I use the fleshlight quickshot most of the time instead of the handy sleave. The handy sleave pushing down on the tip(especially during cumshots) is not as preferred as the quickshots open-top design
There is an example of that feature "in the wild" for an Android VR player. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.chai.vrtv.free . He's had that feature for a while but don't think it's been a big deal users. I could be wrong. I haven't used that app and talked to him in years.
I think the tech that allows synchronized play and mutiparty chat is a good thing to have but I don't see it being a big sell in and of itself.
I think if there were some form of SLR organized watch parties with one of the talent during release day or something would get folks attention though. (And I have another idea. Will message you)
You could insert sneak peak trailers etc in a one time special version of the stream.
The tech is a good enabler but I think you'll need to seed it's use.
This is the one, right?
How does Deo compare to others? I've been using Skybox because of it's ability to stream so sd space isn't an issue.
Here's the link: http://m.avvr.jp/contents/view?vv_idx=114
You need to get the player VRME ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.service.vrme ) in the Play store to watch it. There's also an iOS version but since Apple's regional store crap is so restrictive you will need to have a Japanese store account.
Good luck, the scale is pretty crappy and it's censored but its a titfucking centered video.
Lol dude is an active poster on various NSFW subreddits, I really don’t get his question. If he can post nsfw on Reddit, he can also download vr Porn. Maybe have to hide the sites he browses but easily done with free ProtonVPN.
I agree it would be an awesome way to promote the game but recording stereo 180 clips just isn't possible in real time with UE4 (I don't know about other engines). It's a lot more complicated than you might think, check this out:
And this:
That seems to be the only technique for outputting stereo 180/360 and it can't be done in real time, each frame takes a long time to render and then has to be stitched together in a video editor. If it was possible then every VR game would have this ability... I really want to create a trailer using this technique if I get time though!
You want a router with a USB 3 port like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Linksys-XAC1200-AC1200-Gigabit-Ethernet/dp/B00NPRW6YI/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1 .
I use a router with USB port to stream to by Quest from a external hard drive. The one I use is no longfor sale but search for "router with USB 3 port".
Yes! There are lots of options, many of which you've already tried, but you'll likely get the best results from a combo platter tailored to your setup. As a general rule, though, the idea is to increase both passive and active ventilation, reduce the humidity in the room, reduce the humidity on your face, and spray the lenses themselves if needed so they're better able to deal with what's left.
Good luck!
for the tremblr receiver, the standard handy velcro is long enough, although i don't think it's ideal. I've bought some of the more common alternative straps and they are better for bigger sleeves. It's not a bad idea to get something like this just to have extra cinch straps for other sleeves.
The only problem with the standard handy strap is that it's not a snug fit on the handy itself. There's some room for the strap to move up or down during operation which means the sleeve won't stay strictly in the same position relative to the strap. For a better fit where you can be sure the sleeve stays in place tightly, I squeezed a 1" x 9" strap to fill the gap alongside the standard handy strap. The assorted straps I linked includes three of that size.
No im using an VR headset. So you have to switch a setting? Im using this software because it's the only one that autorecenters every X minutes so I don't have to constantly press a button:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blevok.HomeTheaterVR&hl=en&gl=US
The image drifts and im tired of DeoVR since they wouldn't add an autorecenter. I like to watch movies on pitch dark so it's going to drift a bit. That app is the best solution since DeoVR refuses to add auto recenter.
That setting totally corrected noticeable distortion for me, maybe try fine tuning it’s fit on your head. I also replaced the stock face pad with one for this: Pimax 8KX + 5K3Kplus Comfort kit... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JKNZHDQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and found it to be a big improvement
You can just get a USB c to USB cable. It's $7.
Streaming seems to be much lower quality than downloading and watching on Skybox.
Amazon Basics Fast Charging 60W USB-C2.0 to USB-A Cable (USB-IF Certified) - 6-Foot, Black https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B085SBKM7Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_i_5AB2HE0MX3NFNHDYZ4DB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Oh damn, unfortunately those images will not work. The piper perri you posted was close though.
Check out this really fast sample I made from a pitch perfect blu ray. There is a folder of images to give you an idea of what I need to get these kinds of results.
Hey thanks for the reply (I got a message saying this post was deleted so I didn't bother checking back).
I use a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017).

A more viable solution (although not necessarily cheap) would be to couple an Oculus Rift, Illusion VR game (Play Club etc.) and a silicon love doll: http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/japanese-love-dolls.html
The doll could bridge the gap in fooling your brain enough so that your VR experience is enhanced. I haven't personally tried this but I am considering it. The dolls can get really pricey though as they increase in quality. For this type of use they wouldn't necessarily need to be detailed, just feel realistic enough. I really enjoy using VR in the Illusion games but that urge to reach out and touch is strong.
Gotta be careful man. This is their MO. Fuck people over and just be super nice to the ones who complain publicly. They been doing that for years. That way they get to assfuck their customers and get thanked for it at the same time
If you do try them out probably worth using something like privacy.com like people suggested. But dont trust these people
Please consider using a service like Privacy - https://privacy.com/ - which allows you to decide who can charge your card, how much, how often - even close a card any time you want. It can only be linked to debit cards but has been a lifesaver for subscriptions and shady websites. Please consider using it for you next sign up it's saved my ass so many times..
Try this (if your main monitor is 1080p):
Download my 1080p no border fake fullscreen app here.
Open virtual desktop and press F8 to view side-by-side content on the rift.
Open virtual real player, it should open windowed mode, then press ctrl+shift+F to activate fake fullscreen mode (via my app).
You should now have VRP on your main monitor in a borderless window taking up your main monitor, with virtual desktop cloning it to the rift.
If you don't trust my exe I also inlcuded the autohotkey source, you can download autohotkey and either run or compile the ahk script. This is how I run HaremMate.
Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. Maybe in the next half decade things like Gigapixel and other AI engines will get even better and more practical. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/gigapixel-ai-for-video
https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/acceptableuse-full > You may not use the PayPal service for activities that: relate to transactions involving (h) certain sexually oriented materials or services.
Why are you allowed to use Paypal for your porn site?
My recommendation would be to download the content to your desktop/laptop and then stream it from there to your Quest using a DNLA Server App like https://kodi.tv/download
The built-in Oculus Gallery allows you to stream from a DNLA server, or, if you would like to have more features like tiling the view, use DeoVR player or Playa.
I think I did not even knew virtualxporn. Are they any good? They do not seem to have trailers?
In any case, the studios normally do allow you to download the movies. Some people can stream in good quality, but many people can not, so they need to download.
You can either sign into the studio site from the Quest in the browser and then download or download to your desktop/laptop first and then copy the file to your Oculus Go.
Or you can from your desktop/laptop to the headset by installing a DNLA server app like https://kodi.tv/download
Thanks. Sexlikereal does have some gay vr vids apparently. I'll look into it.
Thanks for making me discovering Privacy.com, unfortunately it works only for the US residents and I'm in france. Some banks allow to create virtual cards but of course not mine.
I don't know about that.
What I do know:
- People have figured out they can create endless new emails to get trials over and over
- Companies figured this out, some are now matching on credit card number: only 1 trial per number
- People have figured out that you can have privacy.com generate new (valid) card numbers every day
Not endorsing any side here, you figure it out.
Can’t you find a friend with unlimited data or go to university and download there? (Maybe with free ProtonVPN).
You won’t have fun with vr with such limited data. Especially if you watch 5k, 6k 7k
I have a route like this where you can plug a external hard drive into.
As others said , use any lossless cutter https://www.fosshub.com/MKVToolNix.html
saves time and retains quality
you may be cropping or changing aspect ratio some editors like handbrake remove black bars in video
Just install both then
https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases/tag/0.74.1
That way you should have the required addon for hardware video decoding for both types of media player application.
Which Windows 10 do you have? If you don't have Professional try installing those: HEVC Video extensions
and perhaps LAV Filters in case you don't have them.
Yes, Gallery can stream from your computer, but you need a content server like Emby. It's easy to set up. Link here: https://emby.media/mac-server.html. This is the setup I use and it works great.
This is the only correct answer here, it might be overwhelming in features/options at first but it's hands-down the best 2D/desktop player. Plays VR videos with a 360 mode and you can look around using the mouse as OP mentions (it can even do 3D anaglyph/stereoscopic/shutterglasses stuff although that's not needed for VR clips).
Here's a link to the official site: http://potplayer.daum.net/
Just set up a PayPal account or use privacy.com as the other reply says. That's not to say it's a risk... but why not use extra protection if you have any doubts? I cancelled my sub via PayPal with a couple of clicks.
Sorry should have posted this here......
Any improvement on Badoink Billing. The Kendra Spade vid makes me want to try them for a year but their billing looks shady. Any advice? Gift card? privacy.com? Other?
Hey VRe1337ist, that's fair enough. Unfortunately, PayPal is not a payment option. Have you looked into services such as Privacy (https://privacy.com/)? It's a good option for discreet and secure transactions. Might be worth looking into!
The videos you will have access to, by signing up to VRPornCinema.com, are traditional 2D, HD videos (and 3D coming soon!) that are compatible to watch with VR headsets, including gaze controls to select videos and change video settings. The vidoes are NOT 180° and 360° videos.
Mobile:
Android phones are supported. Requires a WebGL-compatible browser. The faster the phone the better. We recommend Google Cardboard V2-compatible headsets for best results. Tested with Chrome on Android.
GearVR is supported by bypassing the GearVR service; either by inserting your phone into the GearVR without plugging in the mini-USB, or by using Package Disabler to temporarily disable the GearVR service, preventing it frin starting up when plugging your phone into the GearVR
*iPhones are NOT currently supported. (iPhone support coming soon!) *
PC:
Oculus DK2 is supported
Windows is supported
For PC, Firefox Nightly with the WebVR add-on is required
Macs are NOT currently supported. Unfortunately, Macs are not recommended for consuming content with the Oculus Rift. Oculus froze Mac and Linux SDK development in the summer of 2015, and while the 0.5.0.1 SDK is still currently available from their developer site, newer versions of OSX are beginning to break support for the Rift DK2. For actually consuming VR experiences, we recommend using Windows PCs or android mobile phones.
I am using Internet Download Manager since years for everything Pay Sites and Youtube etc ...
It is constantly updated, you can open several Connections ( i set it to 4 ) in Settings.
You can resume if the Server Supports it ( most Sites do )
I can recommend you to use Pigasus Player for playback. Your Download Issue could be related in a Content delivery Network Issue.
I sometimes experience slow Download speeds every some weeks but usually everything is fine.
A good Download Manager is Internet Download Manager.
https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
It can also resume. I set it to 4 connections in the settings so with that i always have great Speeds and no issues.
Looks like this: https://img-16.ccm2.net/N2Nbe0VQp4_2Y7XiZ2CnkD-ieC0=/a5440b31d9f64989b50e5a2d59584f63/ccm-faq/H9qjCZf-max-number-of-connections-s-.png
The only site i can not resume a download with is VRLatina.com who use bad Server Configurations.
I've tried handbrake but hated it, even just for simple things like re-encoding videos to a different resolution or codec it's just never doing what I want. I've switched to using Staxrip which was more clear in only changing the things I want changed and do H265 hardware encoding using NVEnc.
There are some pre-made encoding profiles but you can make your own including desired resolution and just always use that or even batch queue multiple videos. Like Handbrake it's also open source and actively developed.
Bit of a late reply but was surprised this wasn't mentioned here at all; You could look into using StaxRip which is pretty much a GUI for tools like ffmpeg and NVenc etc. It's just easier to do things with, you can set up basically the same settings up in a profile and quickly queue up multiple files as a job before "batch running" all jobs. It also does hardware encoding with Nvidia, AMD and Intel.
It includes all required tools like ffmpeg and NVenc and those are regularly improved and updated, so you keep those tools up to date as StaxRip updates.
Handbrake is pretty good, but I prefer StaxRip for any (re-)encoding (I use it to downsize H264 scenes to H265). It's more straight forward with the settings, simply set input file, codec, container, quality settings, etc and go. It can also make full usage of hardware encoding (see the Nvidia/AMD/Intel profiles) so with a good CPU/GPU it'll take minutes not hours.
Best resolutions for devices is hard to say because there's so many different ones, here is a good article that lists a bunch of devices and their max resolutions.
If you want to do 5K or higher though, definitely look into using H265/x265 which makes smaller files of the same quality as H264/x264 (or higher quality at same file sizes). The main advantage for saving space is that you can lower the bitrate without losing much in quality, or perhaps even better to have a variable bitrate (VBR) while setting a maximum bitrate so there's a higher bitrate when quality is needed.
Still I suggest doing lots of testing, video encoding is a bit of an art in itself. I've searched everywhere for recommended VR H265 encoding settings and there's just no simple answer, it's very dependent on the video; resolution, fps, movement, colors, brightness... A default preset might work good for one video but terrible for another.
Nope.
first i disagree that vr in this context makes a lick of difference. and laws are already in place that would protect commercial use.
your thinking sex..its an embarrassing subject in the us. But lets go beyond that. Mila Kunis is the highest paid actress in the US. what stops a company from making a movie with a digital representation of her? without paying her a dime? crap it doesnt even have to be photorealistic. MR T has a cartoon, where he and a dove crime fight or some shit like that. The char is not any way shape or form photorealistic and yet show it to just about any human in modern society and they will say "that's mister T". Why couldnt they get a cheaper voice actor and just use his cartoon image?
its already regulated. Self non commercial creation, really cant be easily under our system.
as for look a likes and impersonators.. yeah thats regulated as well. there are gray areas.. or we wouldnt have the trump porns, of course copyright and liable laws change when your a public figure like trump.
a good example.. frito lay used a tom waits impersonator. He sued and won 2.6 million dollars for them using a voice that sounded like his.
Ah sorry, not familiar with Private Internet Access as a VPN so didn't realize what you were saying. That's pretty odd then, but I've personally never heard of an ISP blocking/slowing VPN's, so I don't know why it wouldn't do the trick unless the VPN servers are just overloaded or garbage quality. Though imagine it would be pretty easy for Spectrum to slow the speeds from whatever IP address the VPN servers are tied to.
I'd still try looking into other options as far as VPN's, assuming you haven't had any luck trying to change servers with Private Internet Access. I have COX internet personally and VPN does the trick on any one of the servers I've tried through Hotspot Shield.
Thanks. However, how exactly do you apply a VPN while streaming on a headset?
I actually already have a paid sub to a top-notch VPN (AirVPN), but it's not like there's an app on the Oculus store for it.
Also, this doesn't really explain why my internet speed test on DeoVR and Oculus browser are so different, unless DeoVR speed tests run on the same thing as SLR, which my ISP is maybe throttling?
Personally, I noticed that SLR was always extremely slow, using the SLR desktop app. Eventually I read a recommendation to try a VPN, as it seems some ISPs are throttling speeds. Sure enough; I tried out a VPN (CyberGhost, FWIW) and SLR went from barely useable to loading 4k videos in a few seconds.
Really shitty that ISPs can just throttle speeds for sites they don't like, or whatever.
Well, to get any decent (that is: not pixelated) experience you need a phone with at least a 2k or better a 4k display. There aren't many out there. (Sony is currently the only one with 4k?)
Also you have to choose a good VR-headset. There are so many crappy out there.
And then the choice of app - it has to work with your headset (control wise).
And Google discontinued the Cardboard and Google VR Services.
My current (and for me) working set is:
But YMMV.
Update: it looks like my ISP is throttling my speed to your CDN network. I have just purchased a month of ExpressVPN and connected to server in LA. I am getting ~200 Mbps from your speedtest. ID: 10139
I used to watch these via the DMM player on GearVR. 2 years ago, you needed a VPN on your phone (I used ExpressVPN because it is optimized for 4k streaming), but some time last year they removed that requirement (hooray!).
Now that I have moved over to Steam / PC VR I have not tried watching my scenes again. I will have to try their local app, and with that I may need VPN again. We'll have to see.
I have not tried Fanza for VR but they might be different as they seem to be the more English / US friendly sister site to DMM.
That phone uses the Snapdragon 835 processor, so the maximum resolution you can play is '4k,' so anything over 40XX by 21XX won't play correctly, check your files.
This is probably your best option DeoVR https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deovr.cardboard
You mean this one?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deovr.cardboard&hl=es

Can't see where those settings are. Also, you can't control the mouse with your view (in Gizmo its pretty cool since you dont need a controler, just look at the thing for a second and it auto clicks)

Edit: i see the image options now, looks like the meun only show ups during video, will try later with the glasses, however, how do I control the mouse with my view?
Here is a link to the Veer app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.velotech.veereditor
Essentially, allowing for the basic editing functions while in VR would be outstanding. The issue today is compilations cannot be done easily, so user generated content is rare.
Veer just needs access to local storage, which requires your Android instance to have detected the videos (ie. Remove your .nomedia tags).
For reference, here is the PMV I built: https://www.pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=ph5c2faad4ca4a2
You say it will all be inside, does that mean all in the same room/location? FYI, for safety purposes, they sell disposable VR face covers:
https://www.amazon.com/Kaizen-Spirit-VR-Disposable-Sanitary/dp/B07THCRC1L
I have two of these, bought at Amazon CyberMonday sale. Sets up a dedicated 5ghz WiFi connection with my Oculus Quest but used with my Go until recently. Allows you to stream high bitrate straight from the SSD HD to the Oculus via Skybox and other VR players that can read SMB file shares. No laptop/computer needed....truly wireless, self-contained system.
Sadly, as of right now anyways, DEOVR won’t work. But they say they will have SMB coming soon.
It’s a really good, all-in-one portable system. When I travel, I just take the WiFi SSD hard drive and the Oculus. The HD actually doubles as a hi-cap battery, so you can be truly wireless if you’d like for at least as long as the battery in the Go/Quest holds out.
You use an android VR video player, like AAA VR Cinema or VR Theater.
I'm using Private Internet Access. They have several servers in the US. I'm not an expert on this, but it might be a good option for you. They have a month for 6.95 and then if it works out for you, you can do 6 mo or a year for less/mo.
I downloaded an app called Adavanced Download manager
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dv.adm

it lets you choose download location
I was going to get something like this if it will be able to get the job done. What do you think? Sorry for all of these questions. I am not that educated in this field. Tried to do some research but still quite confuse. Would appreciate if you clear it all up for me.
Get one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Charging-CUVR-Ultimate-Compatible/dp/B06XTWRR72 as they do fix exactly that issue and I have been using mine for about 2 years now without issue.
It does have a few downsides, as the mount is fragile as it 3D printed and it adds fan noise and weight to the front of the headset, also shipping and Taxes double the price if you live in the EU rather than the USA.
But it works that well I can now watch full length 3D movies, not just 3D porn streamed from my NAS without my phone overheating and the wireless charging if you switch it on reduces the speed that VR drains the Phones battery as well, but can't quite keep up with my s7 power usage if I watch 5K 3D video streamed from my NAS, so the batter still runs down, just a lot slower.
lol I mean I'm only downloading 4k and 5k versions of the videos, 8-12GB each, sometimes 14-15GB. I've subscribed to all the major studios except NA off and on since 2016 so I basically have 80% of everything Wankz, Badoink, Czech and VirtualRealPorn have put out except of course the ones featuring girls I'm just not interested in. I also have my old 2D collection (few TB) and non-adult movies on there too. I'm a digital hoarder.
I'm an IT/ops guy so I like to think I have a slightly better than average knowledge of tech... instead of having a single drive I picked up this USB RAID enclosure and put in 4 10TB drives. I'm running the array in RAID 5 which has "parity" or error correction meaning the data is spread across all the drives and even though I put in 40TB worth of drives I only get 30TB usable... the advantage being if one drive dies I replace it and the array will rebuild with no loss.
So that's basically my "backup and recovery" :)
You shouldn't market it for porn. The market isn't that big and there's a stigma associated with it. Market it as focused towards movies and 3D video over games and let positive word of mouth in the porn community do the rest.
The go is very front heavy with only a soft strap for support. So go for better comfort and ergonomics with a rigid headband and rear cradle support at the minimum. There's even higher end google cardboard headsets with the Playstation VR type forehead support. Battery life is also important and I've seen plenty of people mod there Go with a small powerbank on the back. The point is people care about weight on the front, not so much weight on the back if it is well distributed.
If you're doing integrated audio use earbuds instead of the open headphones that rest on your ears or god forbid the oculus go type.
If you can't do two screens for IPD adjustment make sure there's at least some kind of software adjustment. Some stasyq vids don't work well with the Go right now and there's nothing I can do without better vr players.
Also maybe add some kind of privacy feature like password protection. They're all android based so it can't be too hard to add some gesture based swipe lock.
Maybe this https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Wireless-Portable-Built-STCK1000100/dp/B00AQRUW4Q
Honestly if you are looking for easy just grab this https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-Drive-256GB-SDDD3-256G-G46/dp/B06VSS2NRP so you can plug it right in to the headset.
Not sure if that's legal or not. I wouldn't get a flash drive. Instead something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Expansion-Desktop-External-STEB8000100/dp/B01HAPGEIE/ref=pd_bxgy_147_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01HAPGEIE&pd_rd_r=BCM4VNKDVAERJZQ11BK8&pd_rd_w=5B6Lg&pd_rd_wg=quqkJ&psc=1&refRID=BCM4VNKDVAER...
But if you're plan is to keep the videos online you might be better off just accessing the site again when you want them.
Perhaps I'm a bit harsh. Yi does make a 60 fps 4k camera. I wonder how much more it would cost to do a 180 building off this. Anything less then about $900 and it would open up a lot of space for more amateur VR productions.
https://www.amazon.com/YI-Action-Waterproof-Control-Streaming/dp/B01CW4B2P8
Here's how I solve my storage and sorting problems (i.e. put if off for another few months :) ) https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-External-Desktop-Storage-STEL8000100/dp/B01HD6ZLQ6/
Maybe you could try www.thumbnailme.com or https://www.videohelp.com/software/Auto-Movie-Thumbnailer to make thumbnails for everything and then use those to check what you may not want.
As a data hoarder I generally don't want to get rid of anything, but a video program with a delete clip option would be awesome.
