Much of Ainz strength comes from paid items. He wasn't even the strongest player in his guiild(that would be Touch Me) but I still think he could put a good fight with some of floor guardians. Shalltear is Cursed Knight/Cleric/Valkyrie which is a counter to undead mage such as Ainz.

I personally think Gate is like Overlord. (Someone else agrees.) At its core, Overlord is about Power and all the expressions of Power. Evil is in there, but not the core of the show.

I'm a web dev, so I use it for drawing mock ups for cool buttons or maybe backgrounds here and there. I'm not a drawing pro or anything near it, but I do a lot of mockups and quick drawings with it. I use Krita with a wacom pen.

Krita (free) is similar to PS, but the UI focuses on drawing more. Like pen tools and layering.
Wacom Pen As I mentioned often times the touch monitors was to slow for smooth and accurate drawing... but if they are not then they are simply so expensive you could get a 8k monitor for the same price. So I use the Wacom Pen Tablet. It is a pen, which comes with a "mouse pad" like thing you plug into your computer. This is an extremely smooth and fast response, plus you can use it with about any device (windows, mac, linux, android). The problem is that you have to get used to drawing on the tablet while looking at the screen. It isn't a big issue because you can see the cursor, but a bit of a learning curve.

For people that have to resync it, either use Aegisub or MPC-HC. Both let you re-sync it but it will definitely be way faster with Aegisub from what I know.

If its just the stat block and general lore, they are from Greyhawk and specifically (as the name implies) Suel, internet says Dragon Magazine 82-93 has mentions of as is the general/sample template in 339 and in the Polyhedron mag 101; tho i believe the DM 339 template doesnt have the full featureset/is lacking a boiling blood like effect upon resisting possession and i think a 1d6 combust/fire aura effect.

I just use calibre. All you have to do is open the app, drag and drop the pdf onto it, select the pdf, and click the convert button. You usually want to turn on the heuristic processing though, because most of the time, you end up with weird paragraphs.

TIL gold is actually edible. Gold isn't on the CDC's toxic substance index, see here, and news articles seem to report that it's relatively inert, tasteless, textureless and adds no nutritional value to the meal. The only thing it adds to a meal is the cost and appearance.

I mean murayama was quite vocal about not being "happy" continuing with the series, despite being so successful and he had a lot of ideas for more books, he was done and wanted to finish the series a while back, and only continued to give readers a proper ending. there was the whole thing around fan translations of the bd exclusive book (you had to buy all 3 collections bd sets to get access to the side story about evileye+ainz adventures) and his common tweets on that topic, he mentioned for years now how he plans to end series at X book on the back of some minor drama. Last I checked the jp reviews of vol15 and 16 were quite nasty as well, averaging like a 2/5 rating (looks like this evened out now at 4.3, but 5% of reviews still at 1* rating)

I suspect it will all depend on the movie sales, if it goes well, chances are we'll get the same 4 books in 3 years, 1 tv series+ movie deal.

FYI, to clarify on epic levels, D&D 5th edition doesn't have epic levels yet (there is a supplementary book coming out called the Epic Legacy core rulebook that will allow up to level 30 found here: https://epic-legacy.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders). 20th with boons in 5th edition is hilariously broken as is right now so there shouldn't be any problem imitating Momonga with just a 20th level character. He would have about a dozen or so boons (extra rings are making up the majority since he can wear a full 10 thanks to cash shop) and he might need some to grant the missing abilities for death touch.

That monster race alone gives so many bonuses that it's laughable that he even needs the boons. Also, technically he's an Archlich because he doesn't have any kind of reliance on soul sacrifices. The only thing someone has to do to make him authentic is to get rid of the whole phylactery thing. Disrupt Life is a really nasty legendary action and is even more powerful than Momongas energy drain touch. With wizard levels it just gets to broken levels of madness.

In my head, I always imagined the 8-Legged Assassins would look like the Demon Slayer Kali from the game Smite.

For linux I use "Document Viewer", the name is generic since its built from an open source project Evince, but you can find many different version and variations of it. I just use it because it is simple without a billion things going on. &nbsp;

I used to use xreader, which has many different versions since it is open source, but it has some weird bugs with different pdf versions, but man it was super fast. Searching terms was super fast, I mean we are only talking about 1 second instead of 2-3, but it was pretty nice when looking for quotes. &nbsp;

Considering these are open source you should be able to find similar window versions.

Thats an e-book reader. It is meant for reading pdf s and other formats electronic on a display that resembles paper (it use e-ink to print it and doesn’t emit any light, just like paper). Also it is convenient because you can store several thousands of books (not physical, of course) inside. Awesome thing when travelling. While it doesn’t quite replace the actual feel of a book, it is WAYS better than a conventional screen.

I just finished Volume 1 and started Volume 2 of the light novel. I haven't re-watched Season 1 of the anime since it aired but from what I remember of it, the events of the anime are nearly identical to what I've read in the the light novels so far. That being said, I'm very much enjoying them.

I use e-reader prestigo. It has a function like that. Works both for PDF and epubs. But Everytime it pronounces the name of the characters, I die a little on the inside. You could try it out if you want.

For me I use Calibre which is an e-book software for desktop, that can read all these formats, Android has something similar build into and I know it works with Amazon (kindle), Barnes & Noble, and google play as well. Google plays format uses less space, I don't think this is an issue unless you have hundreds of books, but just food for thought.

For those interested in acupuncture, the easiest way to learn the concepts is to start with Japanese "Shiatsu", called "Acupressure", which uses fingertips for the most part, instead of needles. It is pretty easy to learn and good for alleviating many of the nagging things like headache, sinus, and other problems, for which we otherwise spend a ton of money for OTC remedies.

One of the best guides for it is Do-It-Yourself Shiatsu: How to Perform the Ancient Japanese Art of &quot;Acupuncture Without Needles&quot;, by Wataru Ohashi, which is the size of a paperback magazine, is well illustrated and has simple instructions.

The only concern is that if you do learn it, it's probably not a good idea to talk about it much, because everybody has ouchy places and will pester you.

I have one, but it is pretty exclusive. There is a long defunct medical journal named M.D.N. Along with their usual stuff they published interesting and unusual medical phenomena and stories submitted by doctors. Eventually just these were collected and put into a thin volume called &quot;The Best of MDN&quot; (Amazon link) (1966).

It is a neat little book, with lots of entertaining, if obscure stuff.

Should be all the animations and bluray specials, cannot say if its dubbed or not though. I would guess not.

Seems unlikely since the group that translated the other 9 volumes stated they won't be doing vol. 10. Even then it would take a few weeks before even a chapter gets finished. Plus the release date may have been pushed back to April.

I'm hoping beyond hope that we'll get an official English version, but seeing as how volume 1 is coming out in May that seems like it would take a long while.
