The stores are legit, no need to worry here, but I'd check on gg.deals too since they have more stores in their offer. As you can see all the stores sell a Steam key. All you gotta do is redeem it on Steam like a normal game then download it and you're good to go.

Even if you got Red Alert 2 working on Windows 10, it's a bit quirky.

You should probably by now have an EA Origin account. Why? Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge was "On the House" for a short time and you can permanently keep it and play it as long as you have your EA Origin account.

It looks like you like old PC games and right now NOX is free with EA Origin On the House special.

As for Age of Empires, try running on compatibility mode. Hopefully your CD/DVD drive isn't too "new" for the game to recognize.

If you've had the machine for a while, it may be time to see about applying new thermal paste to the heatsinks in the laptop, generic factory paste only stays good for about 2yrs for manufacturers using cheap stuff, replace it with Artic Silver 5 compound.
