I'm saying the post is about a pattern of harassment done to her by her former employer, not how many tiny grammar mistakes she's made in her posts. If you pull your head out of The Elements of Style once in a while you'll see that there's a whole world out here.
I thought it would be funny to see what some of the greatest movies ever made would look like if they starred Pittsburgh Penguins. Some are clever and some are stupid, but all were drawn with love in my heart.
I thought I would show off a commission I drew for a patreon supporter as well. The Phil has his own comic book, what a stud!
You can read more terrible hockey comics at http://cityfolk.ca/the-phil and support the art at https://www.patreon.com/cityfolk
Thanks!
ProTip: The Mr. Clean ones are horribly priced. They're just melamine sponges.
I bought these not long ago. 50 pack for $10.45.
Sorry I'm late! I guess I can only guarantee a Monday release, instead of Monday morning.
This last week The Phil scored his first goal in a Penguins jersey, while Geno and Gonchar discuss a saying they don't really understand. You can read the rest here: http://cityfolk.ca/the-phil.
I've been asked if I have a patreon page and yes I do. I'll only mention it this one time, but if you want to support the comic and get some cool extras you can do so at https://www.patreon.com/cityfolk?ty=h. Thanks guys and happy monday! Long Live The Phil!
Thank you very much!
The picture can be found on shop.nhl.com here for $129.99. It comes pre-framed and with the pieces of game-used net!
The autographed Fleury hat was previously on shop.nhl.com but appears to not be on sale anymore. It was $109.99. Here's an expired Amazon listing if you're curious. Looks like the only option now is to get the hat and get lucky enough to get him to sign it!
Finally, the Murray hat was signed in person at Market District in the South Hills, so it only cost the price of the hat and a couple hours in line.
Welllll, I don't want to sell this as a book just because of the logos and player likenesses. Would probably be trouble. But you can download the pdf for free or donation here: https://gumroad.com/l/ThePhil
For what it's worth, you can use a VPN (virtual private network) to obfuscate your location from the nhl site and watch games even when they're blacked out by location (assuming you're not on mobile). For nhl network or nbcsn games, I tend to set my VPN to say I'm in Australia or Europe and it always lets me watch. I use Private Internet Access, but there are a ton of options out there (and some are probably cheaper, too).
That said, I too am annoyed about not being able to see pre and post game shows. Even the period break content is blocked, for pens games, but not for most others. I haven't figured out why or if there's a way to get around it.
Here is the Whois data for the site.
A few things to be aware of:
As someone who has been in the financial industry by way of IT for over ten years and has seen a lot of oversea transactions lead to card scamming. I would advise you to be careful and make any purchases with a service similar to Simple or another isolated account that can easily be canceled without impacting your main account.
This or the first response about Unlocator is the best answer In my opinion. I pay full price for every year. I love the better quality streams you get with the service and watch on my main tv often. When I hit a blackout I will pop on my VPN “Tunnelbear” and choose a location like Mexico for example. I will then bypass this blackout restriction to get my “money’s worth” out of my subscription. I choose this method over a site like nhlstreams or the like because I don’t have to deal with pop-ups when loading in, or finding and clicking the small x to watch. You get the subscription you would want with the slight extra cost of a VPN. It’s annoying for sure but when it comes playoff time and it seems every damn game is blacked out it sure is worth the extra monthly charge. Hope this helped!
Thank you! Like somebody said a streamble video would be amazing if anyone can pull that off!
I dont know if I'm able to share this or not, sorry mods but here is a tutorial if anyone wants to record a stream off internet.....

Cool, I just wasn't sure. I've seen pictures but I mean, bridges look similar around the country (we have one of those weird hump bridges here too). I need to get out to Pittsburgh eventually.

if two more people are interested in this shirt, it opens back up for sale. LETS GO PENS! LETS GO MURRAY! DO IT FOR DUPER! BONINOBONINOBONINOBONINO!!!!! GET PHIL A HOTDOG!!!!!!
Download TunnelBear. It's an awesome VPN with no malware, free to use. Load up the vpn, load up the game, as soon as the feed starts kill the vpn and as long as you don't refresh the game you'll be able to watch.
That sounds like the sort of thing that's probably free online if you know where to hang out. Not even stealing, just people desperate to have you read their sexy hockey fantasies.
Edit: Googled "Letang/Crosby"
Seriously OP, just use a VPN. I've had great luck with both HideMyAss and Private Internet Access (the latter is what I use now). Their desktop gui is really simple and its easy connect to a server in some other country in Europe or Asia. Its also not illegal so you don't need to feel bad about it. Last year their website also never checked again for your location (only on page load) so you can turn it off once you've accessed the stream. It's a pain that we have get do anything to get around their stupid rules but this is the easiest way without using /r/nhlstreams (where there are potentially malicious ads and no-notice stream stoppages).
If you live near Pitt, you won't be able to watch any Pens games on gamecenter without using a VPN. If you get a VPN, like HideMyAss, you'll be able to watch almost all of the games if you set your location to somewhere in Europe or the like, even ones that are on NBC.
Screw all the USA players that made his comment about them and are passive-aggressively starting shit:
"It's disappointing. Those comments don't get lost in the fray, and those comments are there and have been read and I think will be remembered when whatever happens going forward happens going forward."
David Backes signed with Boston as a free agent this summer, and the Bruins will face the Penguins on Dec. 14 at Pittsburgh.
Why not something to Begin assimilation as early as possible
Not a podcast exactly, but Mark Madden has the best hockey talk in town. His radio show goes from 3-6pm EST on weekdays, but all episodes are updated daily here !
Like I said, some of the best hockey talk there is imo, and if you really can’t stand the character he plays and all the other ancillary stuff he rants about often times, you can just fast forward past it!
If /u/bagofweights would have made the image I'd say all power to you for charging $22 he got it off someones twitter, so here's my t-spring campaign, its the exact same and it's only $10.
We are removing 10+ of this exact thread every day. All things considered, be saying "please do a search" is pretty far from being an asshole. I could have just sent you this and called it a day. That would have been an asshole move.
In all seriousness, this has been discussed ad nauseam here and on /r/hockey for the last four months, the information you're looking for is very easily accessible.
But since I'm not an asshole, your best option is to get an ESPN+ subscription and a VPN. Many VPNs have apps you can use on Roku, including ExpressVPN. It's as easy as opening the app, choosing a different location, clicking "connect," and opening the ESPN app.
$14 a month will get you Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney+.
It's a great deal, imo. Although, you'll also need a VPN if you're in Pittsburgh, due to blackouts. NordVPN is very good.
Just some bullshit off Amazon I think. Its very basic, not too sturdy. Didnt have much for a budget at the time. Its ok i guess.
Amazon! I'm fairly certain it's the same one being sold on the NHL shop website, I hope. Amazon also has the Blu-ray and a few books too. I'm not sure what the content is like in those books, probably not great haha.
I mean, give it time. Last years was uploaded on youtube at some point. But I guarantee if you didn't want to wait you could stream it from somewhere.
I'm chomping at the bit to buy it after work
Edit: Amazon has it for $6 to rent, or $20 to buy. You can stream it on Amazon Video which is available on all phones, tablets, and Xbox/PS4 as well.
Get and download TunnelBear which is a free VPN service (only 500gb of free data though with the free account). When a blacked out game starts:
Login to
Start TunnelBear
Click on the game you want to watch in
Disconnect TunnelBear (saving your tiny bit of usage for the month)
Don't refresh the NHL page, it will continue to stream through the VPN even though it is disconnected.
Watch Pens win.
I have been using this for a couple years now and I have not missed a game yet. If thinks you are in Canada it won't give you blackout restrictions. Only a couple times have I had quality issues or lag on the stream. It's almost always still in HD with good fps.
OK. Easy peasy.
Start by getting an app called Watch Maker
Next, download this file
Open watchmaker and complete the setup process. Once you have watch maker set as your face, go back to the app on your phone. On the watch maker home screen, look top right for a box with an arrow and tap that suckah. You'll be shown tour downloads folder. Select evilandlazypens.watch and get ready to amaze your friends.
I'm aware that your face is kind of shitty right now, and I promise that updates are already in the works.
Currently I use NordVPN and ESPN+ on my phone, but I am trying to figure out how to get that to work on my samsung smart tv. I have the ESPN app for my tv, but they don't have ANY VPN app for it so im stuck with figuring out how to work a vpn around that
ProtonVPN works so far for me on ESPN+ when using a browser but not Android TV. I stream it from my laptop to my Chromecast.
Side note, NHL and it's blackouts can fuck off. This is the last year I'm concocting a run around solution, I'm just not going to watch it anymore. And I'd rather burn my money in Comcast office parking lot than subscribe to cable.
No. Espn+ has gotten really good at blocking VPN IPs as well. I had pretty good success with NordVPN last year but none of the severs work this year. I bit the bullet and subscribed to Directv Stream at $80 per month to get ATTSN. It was still much cheaper than a cable bill.
Since people mentioned you're in-market as far as blackouts, ESPN+ along with a VPN works well for me (I'm out of market for Pens games but I do this for my in-market games). I have NordVPN which has worked well, $59 for the first year (looks like $99/yr after) - so about $5/mo now and $8.50/mo next year, on top of the $13.99 ESPN/Disney/Hulu bundle. Not the most elegant but it works haha
malkin [ˈmɔːkɪn ˈmɔːl- ˈmæl-] n 1. (Life Sciences & Allied Applications / Animals) an archaic or dialect name for a cat1 Compare grimalkin 2. a variant of mawkin

I've found a proper audio broadcast on 105.9 using iHeartRADIO as Tunein's audio quality is similar to listening to AM.
I second that. I live in DC and games aren’t blacked out unless National, but when I’m back in PA visiting family I use NordVPN and and have no problems. Nord has a lot of deals too where you can sign up for basically pennies if you do the 3 yr option.
One of the more popular VPNs is Private Internet Access. I picked up a 1-year subscription when it was on sale for ~$32 last Labor Day, and it's worked really well for me. I would expect a similar sale Labor Day weekend!
If you use Unblock-us or a similar service and set your location to anywhere in Europe (or Australia) it will give you the lower price regardless of your billing address. I did that this season so now GCL + Unblock-Us cost me less than GCL normally does. I know that doesn't help you now, but keep that in your back pocket for next season.
I use Gamecenter Live with Apple TV and I love it. It's totally worth it IMO. I use UnoTelly to spoof my DNS so I don't get any blackouts. It's also nice in the offseason to be able to rewatch some classic games to get your hockey fix.

All I did was look up a tutorial or two on YouTube and then went from there with what I wanted it to look like, the results speak for themselves I guess, because I've gotten compliment after compliment. Love this fanbase, always have, always will, LET'S GO PENS!
Thanks for the info, and we're happy to help. We're currently looking into this from a couple of different angles. Can you verify for me that you're using the latest version of the Pens app? (Going to the Play Store doesn't give you an option to update)
