If you can afford to pay 60~ bucks for a new fighting game then you should be able to afford 6 dollars for an ethernet cable, right?
I got a Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 off Amazon for ~$200. Works on PC and PS4, feels great, looks great, all that jazz. Definitely recommended

well if they aren't going to FIDE tournaments then we could look at chess.com which is free, has many of the best players in the world on the leaderboards, and 20+ million players. the dude that is rank 1 is magnus carlsen himself lol
i'd say the placings in chess and on a smaller scale esports (where physical limitations of women are mostly alleviated) correlate pretty significantly with placing male and female average IQ on the bell curve.. there is a pretty big gap if even the female outliers can't break into the best of the best
Amazon and the Microsoft Store doesn't include that at all. It just says playable characters and I just assumed. Thanks. Steam has a more detailed description and it says 2.
You should keep going! As with fighting games, you only improve by practicing. Visual novels aren't my thing but I see potential.
One thing I'll say: there are some technical flaws in your writing that can be cleaned up. I highly recommend Stephen King's "On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft". It's a fairly short read, it's entertaining, and there's an approachable introduction to some technical stuff that you're missing. Even if you're not a fan of his work you'll get a ton of mileage out of the book, I think.
Hey, Injustice 2 + all dlc is back on sale if you're still looking for it. It's $11.99. I bought ~~it~~ from CDKeys many times before and so far my account hasn't been banned or hacked but if you're really worried you can just make a new Steam account and/or use paypal/prepaid visa. https://slickdeals.net/f/11777443-pc-digital-downloads-cuphead-10-69-injustice-2-ultimate-edition-11-99-mortal-kombat-xl-5-29-middle-earth-shadow-of-mordor-goty-3-29-frostpunk-14-69-much-more
They made and finished a card game ages ago that they never released. It got leaked by someone hacking into the twitter of a Rioter and finding it.

If they made a complete game and chose not to release it, I have a feeling they don't want to make a card game right now. Especially with how badly the dota card game reveal went recently.
LOL Famitsu. I said Japan, not bought and paid for journos. Also, we're talking about Gundam Versus. Not the Versus franchise. Gundam Versus was panned for basically cutting 50% of Maxi Boost ON out instead of just porting it like people wanted for years.
Note the Amazon Japan rating:
I think the dpad on the x360 ones is objectively weaker longetivity wise and not as precise as the ps controllers dpad, so with that info alone id tell you to stay away from them.
Between the ps3/ps4 controllers, there is no difference on any of the face buttons. Dpad is the exact same, buttons are the exact same. PS4's analog sticks are better and so are the r2/l2 compared to ps3's, not that youre going to be using the analog sticks for fighting, i mean you might, but just some info. Besides that, the ps4 pad is better because you can have it wireless with a 12$ dongle (Buy this one if you do buy one, dont get the cheap $5 one)
On the flip side, you can buy a ps3 controller for slightly cheaper I think? But after switching to ps4 controller, I just like it more. It feels better in your hands due to the texture and the shoulders being better help it a lot and you just plug that bitch in and most steam games, if theyre new especially, will just recognize it and youre good to go like if it was a xbox controller.
There is though a xbox controller you can buy from gamestop that isnt made by microsoft I think but its an exact fucking copy of an x360 controller and its $25. Hard to beat.
So you got options, id be happy to answer any questions, wish I tried some fighter specific pads that dont have the analog sticks to give you info on them but I play more shit than just fighting games on my pc.

"Spectate on other battles online, and bet on who you think will win using in-game currency."
I bet there will be microtransactions too....
It looks like it's not maintained these days, but there's an online resource cached by Google that had annotations by readers that helped explain things. It's not exactly pretty given the current state of the website but:
EDIT: Alternatively, the Kindle ebook version is $2 on Amazon. I grabbed it and have scrolled through. Tons of names are casually thrown around and some are different from the Koei spellings (i.e. Zhang Jiao is Zhang Jue in the version I have), but it's 4000 pages of reading for a couple bucks.
If you're already paying up to 250 you could go $50 more and get a premium stick like this Qanba or a Hori VLX (if you can still find one going for that price.)
I personally own the red VLX and love it. Heavy and sturdy and pretty easy to mod if you wanna replace the buttons/stick with Sanwa parts. The matte buttons feel pretty great, though so it's not that big of deal.
