The RWD Model S is the first car to pass road tests with above perfect scores. It passed with 110/100. And the Model S P85D scored 103/100 on consumer reports. Sure, you don't have to like the car, but this is just denying the fact that it is a really solid car. Anti-Circlejerk isn't any better than normal circlejerk, and this sub does it way too often.
edit: Changed my wording

You have to spend a little cash to get somewhere, that's the old saying
You can, but you have to be subscribed.
If you want to bypass that, all you have to do is disable subreddit stylesheets in your Reddit preferences, disable the individual subreddit’s stylesheet with RES, use a mobile device, or “upgrade” to the new and “improved” Reddit layout.
Only about 5% of custody cases are actually decided by a judge. The vast majority of parents work it out themselves or with a mediator. Of those who decide by themselves, 51% agree to giving the mom custody.
Some subreddits use the CSS stylesheet to disable the downvote button. Yeah, it sucks. I’ve got Reddit Gold, though, so I have the option to disable the stylesheet by unchecking a box, which is what I do in every subreddit that disables the downvote button or has an obnoxious theme.
I’ve also got RES, which has the same feature and doesn’t require Reddit Gold, so you can install that if you’d like to enable the downvote buttons.
You should stay away from big subs or subs who constantly hit r/all, since majority of karma farmers and shitposts are on there. I think reddit is still pretty good for smaller niche subreddits though.
You can create multireddits for various things that you are interested in and just visit them. Then the only content you'll see is from those select subs that you find interesting and which hopefully doesn't have as many low quality posts. You can even make different multireddits for different interests (one for gaming, one for sport's teams that you follow etc). The only downside to this is that I don't think multireddits work well on mobile, since I feel reddit kind of forgotten about them. Some unofficial reddit apps might display them better, but I haven't checked that out myself so I don't know.
The other option is to get RES and filter the hell out of r/all. Just hover over the subreddits name until this popup appears and click +filter. Then you should start seeing other, maybe smaller or more moderated subreddits on r/all. The downside of that is that there are a constant stream of "joke" subs being created which you will need to keep on filtering out. It's a game of whack-a-mole whit reddit and shitposts.
If you do decided to leave reddit altogether you can check out Tildes.net. It is obviously a lot smaller than reddit so on the one hand, it has less low quality content. On the other, it has less content altogether. It's up to you to decide if the trade off is worth it.
Totally agree that everyone has their own process. Writing is a very personal thing; what works for someone won't for another. He does express this in On Writing as well. He also says that, given he was approached to make a book about the craft, he only had his own process to offer. He didn't want to come across as preachy and high and mighty. 2000 words a day is a demanding task, no way it'll work for everyone. But it's a good mentality to convey. Read and write every day. King is a freak of productivity anyway, just look at how many novels he has published, he's always gonna have the bar high.
That is not a shit post. Just because it was something cheap doesn't mean it can't amazing you. I find it pretty cool looking. Also it is more than $15
