Hi guys, my name is Claribel & I just wrote a book. I need your help to spread the word b/c uh there's like a billion writers out there with awesome books, and I'm just a plankton in a sea of classier, more cultured Squidwards. My new book is called The Skinwalker's Apprentice and it's about two witches, one in the 1650's and the other in the 1980's. The witch in the 1600's - Margo Pennyfeather - lives in East Hampton Long Island, and her story revolves around her apprenticeship under a high priestess witch. Emerald Kipp is the witch at the center of the story in the eighties, and she's kind of a lame, troubled kid, who is struggling to find her place in life. Both witches face their own set of issues, and as the story unfolds we see the parallels between the two. The book is a prequel to a trilogy which will be published by Winslet Press in the fall, Emerald Kipp & the Riddle of the Timekeeper. My books are centered around characters inspired by little known, quirky NY historical figures (look up John Votta, the NYU timekeeper). I've weaved these characters into a magical, alternate New York City, with banshees, witches, wizards and trolls. If you like YA, and stories that don't just focus on romantic relationships, plus diverse characters please give my book a chance! It's only .99, that's less than the price of a Taco Bell cheesy gordita and my book won't make you fat. Thanks for even reading this, you're the best.

Description: > In a doomed galaxy, a supermassive black hole ejects an asteroid at tremendous speed into empty space.
> On a distant planet, many eons later, intelligent life is just beginning to bloom when the asteroid passes only a hair's width away, triggering ecological catastrophe: earthquakes, tsunamis, releases of gas and climate change. Life stubbornly clings to existence, but must find a new way to persist.
> Across the ages on this planet, men and women of all stripes - farmers and merchants, scientists and soldiers, slaves and explorers, must all find a way to survive as the asteroid of Tyo scrambles lives, empires, faiths and even history itself. They strive to build a future and grapple with the meaning of their planet's curse.
FYI: It's now free for the next few days.
Good point! I thought the title was a link but apparently you can either add a photo to your post or a link and not both. Here is a link to Amazon.
That's really sweet! I do, in fact, but it's just a short one. I very much appreciate the gesture but don't feel pressured!

Mercenaries of Destiny is a fantasy novel written as a homage to the world of High Fantasy literature.
For Darvell, being a mercenary is a much more solid job than adventuring. Payment upfront, easy tasks to finish, and the threat of death isn't common. Unfortunately, fate has other plans for him as he's dragged into a battle between the gods and Emperor Zlo, the man who seeks to defy them. It's up to Darvell and his group to travel the Four Kingdoms and put an end Zlo and save the world as they know it.

Hey! My circus historical fantasy is 0.99 this week. It has good ratings, and is the first in a series. Sale ends on December 23rd. Here is the blurb:
The circus keeps its secrets.
Seventeen-year-old Evelyn dreams of a career in botany, while acting as an uneasy intermediary for her hapless father and distant mother. When she’s accidentally poisoned during a fortune telling, her mother insists her only hope for an antidote is to sign the curious contract of Hart's Traveling Circus— the same place her brother, Avery, vanished before her birth.
When her father faces financial ruin, Evelyn offers to write newspaper articles from inside the circus. As she investigates, she's consumed by questions no carnie will answer. Why do the performers lie about their uncanny performances? What caused the “hideous” scars of Essence, the sideshow freak who draws portraits so vivid they nearly leap from the page?
Terrified into attempting escape by tempestuous Manager Hart, Evelyn is stopped by paralyzing pain. Undeterred, she’ll cajole and blackmail her way to the truth behind the circus mysteries and her brother's disappearance— truths that uncover long buried secrets and throw her into the crossfire of a plot with explosive consequences.
Featuring illustrations in the style of vintage circus art, Avery’s Ghost throws readers into a macabre world of secrets and magic, set against the evocative backdrop of an Edwardian circus.
I worked SO hard on this and appreciate your support. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BH98GL9N

*eBook Giveaway! 'PERISIAM' 2x Amazon US Codes (Mod Approved!)*
Hello! My name is Daniel O'Brien,
My debut novel 'Perisiam' is a psychological, urban-fantasy set in the modern day.
This book consists of three intricately woven stories, three very different tales of agony that each harbors a distinct genre. These three tales can be read entirely separately from each other, but the larger universe is revealed and folded upon itself for those that venture through it all.
One character loses himself inside a world of violence, another loses someone else and must cross an impossible threshold, and the last loses their own mind and must rely on the unlikeliest of allies.
Not everyone will be able to escape the pages with their psyche, or their souls intact... And that may just include YOU, Dear Reader.
Giveaway: I have 2x Amazon.com Kindle Codes to give away! You must have a US Amazon account:
Comment below on what your favorite piece of psychologically thrilling media is and I will randomly select 2x winners to DM.

My first novel, She Topples Giants, is currently FREE now through Friday! It's a dark fantasy novel. Here's a link to its thread in this very subreddit with all its information:
https://old.reddit.com/r/wroteabook/comments/yoeism/she_topples_giants_dark_fantasy_available_on/
I guess I'll throw in some info not included in that thread, how about some review excerpts?
"I'll confess. I got this as an eBook because I saw that the author was offering it as a limited-time free download, and I figured, "Ah, why not?" I'm never one to say no to a free book that's advertising itself as a gritty, found-family-centric, sword-and-shield fantasy, either. So I downloaded this, went about my life for a few days, and then about two nights ago, I had a restless 1 AM and so clicked on my Kindle to read myself to sleep.
I must've gotten through the first twenty chapters until falling asleep near 3 AM. Then, in the morning, I picked up where I left off and finished all 600 pages in about a day."
"I just finished this book, and don't know how it hasn't gotten more reviews. It's an amazing book.
Excellent character development, excellent world building, and an amazing cast of characters.
It starts out with the feel of a classic D&D adventure, but quickly grows beyond those bounds.
There's great action, some romance, interesting creatures (Faye is the best!) and lots of intrigue.
Can't wait to read the next book in the series."
"This book illustrates how few women are portrayed in Fantasy. Having a cast with many, varied women was incredible. Although, that certainly wouldn't be enough by itself to make me finish a book. This one was also well-written, and I really enjoyed the way that the author changed the point of view for several important moments. Seeing these moments from a new point of view gave them even more meaning, I really enjoyed that."
And here is where you can get it:
Howdy reddit! Longtime lurker but glad to be a part of the community. I hope you and yours are well and am pleased to announce the publication of my little misery memoir. There were some extraordinary circumstances and a story I thought worth telling. I'm glad to let you know about it. I'd be even more glad if you thought it was worth your patronage. To whet your appetite or turn you away forever, I have made a sample chapter available that describes the first of a many day adventure full of trials and tribulations and more that glass or two. Day One! Thanks in advance for your time and comments!

Fieldwork at Britain’s paranormal detection agency had always seemed prestigious to Tom Bailey, but that was before he bought a house and settled down. Being a boring office drone doesn’t seem so bad anymore, not compared to meeting a grisly end and becoming yet another vacancy for recruitment to backfill.
However telling your manager you’re incompetent is not a winning advancement strategy, so with the department’s usual exorcist on leave Tom is forced out of his cubicle and into the world of ghosts, witches and cultists.
The one university module on ghost stories that he used to pad out his CV isn’t going to cut it. If Tom wants to keep his career and his head he’s going to have to learn the tricks of the trade, and fast.

Their mission to blow the base uncovers a global conspiracy, leading the team into the jungles and caves of Southeast Asia, then to an abandoned island leper colony, the Green Line in Cyprus, a botched assassination and the militarised Turkish Republic of North Cyprus.

"He closed his eyes. He inhaled. He let go of a breath that had been hidden inside since he arrived. Behind him, through the open door, in the expanse of the large entryway, in every corner, in every room, up against the ceiling, and throughout the house, Richard missed a slight, nearly imperceptible shift. A change in the shadows. A blurring of what little light existed. The shadows flowed, slowly – ever so slowly – across the ceiling, down the walls, over the floor. Not liquid, not quite smoke, darkness with dimension, but as flat as the putrid remnants of cigarettes in the paint. Something was awake now."
After years away, a broken man returns to his family home. Are the demons from his childhood waiting for him?

Not to be that guy, but there are a lot of errors, like "theather".
You mention having an editor, I would suggest running the description on the amazon page by them, there are several other errors in there.
"propriety unhabitants," not sure, but I think you might mean "property's inhabitants".
The description is one of the main selling points of the book, so it's important to have it look good.

Vampire, vampire, vampire. A beautiful sounding word. Beautiful and deadly.
Did you also think that becoming a vampire requires a bloodsucker to bite you, drink your blood, then you have to die? Yeah, that’s what I thought as well. Then one night, I missed the metro home, and now I know that reality from fairy tales sucks more…
Damn, I had such a nice, average life! Then after a one-night stand, I woke up with a bite mark on my neck. First, obvi, I freaked out, but it turned out, that this wasn't the end of the world, this didn’t mean I’m already a vampire, folklores are just folklores, and one tiny bite has never turned anyone into a vampire. Though, the bad news is, I’m on my way to becoming one of the monsters.
And who would want to be a bloodsucker?
I certainly don’t, so when William, the man I’ve become infatuated with, told me that he’s a vampire and he wants to turn me, I told him to go to hell and decided to join the night hunters of Brightmore to kill him. Or at least try. I just need to be strong enough to resist him and avoid the rest of the bites...
I just can't stop wondering, why did he choose me?

When a series of grisly murders terrify the residents in the small town of Bethlehem, four teenagers set out on the path to finding the killer. Soon they find themselves uncovering the dark past of the town and the secrets of its inhabitants.
Nightmare from the Deep, the debut novella from Sri Kandula, tells the story of Jacob, Bruce, Allison, and Kevin as they face their fears in a summer to remember.
My novella “I am Leonard” is humorous dystopian science fiction about the last cubicle worker on earth loosely based on the Richard Matheson novella “I am Legend.”
I am Leonard and other stories
If you enjoy that, my novel length dystopian science fiction piece is called “LIFE in the 23rd Century.” My elevator pitch is: “1984 written by Monty Python. Not as absurd as the Fish-Slapping Dance. Not as dark as Brazil.”
Hello! If you want to learn a little about British culture in a fun way. Put the Kettle On: An American’s Guide to British Slang, Telly and Tea, is a not too serious travel guide with a lot of British snark and humor. It includes a word list plus insults and swearwords.
Thanks for considering, I'll be chuffed to bits if you buy it.
While my novel is primarily a Cyberpunk action story, it has been described by everyone who has read it as really funny. I naturally write toward humor, as it's where I'm most comfortable haha.

Hey now, everybody!
I'm Anna Lynn, the author of the novel "GLAMAZON", released in February 2015, and the founder/ creator of Marlay Arts @ www.marlayarts.com. Blog updates are once a week, as I currently work two jobs. Prior to writing I failed out of several colleges, including a beauty school and an online school, and from 2012 to 2014 I sold about four pounds of marijuana a week. For some of you OGs that might seem small, but for a 98 lb. girl that's a lot.
Currently I work, chill at home, and do my best to avoid the neighbors. If you're curious about my cat or myself, feel free to follow along with my blog at Marlayarts.com or message me. I love curious people. I'm also on tumblr https://www.tumblr.com/blog/marlayarts and Facebook. I'm very easy to find on Facebook bc I'm the only Anna Marlay in the world- how's that for being special?
Glamazon is available in Kindle, other ereader formats, and paperback. Right now Amazon has a ridiculous price set for the paperback ($17.99, which they cut down to $14.99 because they realized that it wasn't worth $18), so I suggest the ebook. Though I don't blame you if you can't- I don't have an ereader either. Seems a bit redundant for an ebook author to not own an ereader, but these are strange times we live in, folks. GLAMAZON is on free promotion every 90 days or so, with the next promotion occurring sometime December 2015.
Peace & Love-
ALM

Hello, Reddit Readers! I am the author of a new novel, "Glamazon", and am offering it for free for a limited time. Starting April 1st through the 5th of 2015, my ebook is available for free download on Amazon. After that it becomes $4.99 again.
Quick author's thoughts on the book: The story is formatted to provide a very ridged and skewed view of the main character's world. The main character is a drug-addled, alcoholic, disturbingly rich fashion model who has fallen victim to every number of human sin. She is lazy, greedy, wrathful, gluttonous, jealous, and vain- she takes the whole cake for herself. Through this narrative I explored my thoughts on an America that increasing feels like it has lost its morality and passion. Our culture is fabricated for TV and trademarked to death- we have lost true craftsmanship and art. People obsess over the next new expensive thing, cars, cell phones, and designer garbage, constantly feeding our greed. We've become detached from reality and opted instead for the false security of social media that encourages the thinking that we are all super stars. The structure of our culture is changing, and not in a productive way.
If you'd like to discuss the book, it's content, or have question for me, I encourage you to contact me on Tumblr: https://www.tumblr.com/blog/marlayarts or on Facebook (I cannot post link at this time- Facebook is blocked on my work computer). It should be easy to find- there is only one me.
Thanks for reading- peace and love,
AM

I've had this dark fantasy novel up on Wattpad for two years now. I'm finally seeking publication, but increased reads on my book can only help. I'd love to know what anyone thinks if they feel like checking it out. Here's a little blurb:
When 17-year-old Whik finds a magical relic and uses it to create an alternate reality, a cynical murderer invades his nation to take his powers. Now there's more on the line for Whik than his newfound ability. The enemy has captured his friends, and Whik will risk everything in one world to save them in another.
If I reach 1000 pre-orders I will translate “How to live without money” in English. You can pre-order the eBook here: https://gumroad.com/l/PGKmz ("Pay What You Want" pricing)

Hope to see you there!
Hi everyone, I'm the author of a new YA sci-fi/fantasy novel with mental health themes. As an author with OCD, this was at times a very difficult book to write. I'm thrilled to have completed it. The novel is currently available on Amazon as an ebook and through Kindle Unlimited (paperback pending and should be available within a couple of days): https://www.amazon.com/Twin-Stars-Coseema-Saga-Book-ebook/dp/B09871ML97
A magical journal. A world savaged by its own suns. An evil prince. A princess in hiding. And a teenage girl who learns to be the hero of her own story.
Sixteen-year-old Olive Joshi has obsessive-compulsive disorder, and can't stop worrying about hurting the people she loves. She finds refuge in writing about Coseema, a magical princess on a distant planet. Coseema is fearless, confident, and perfect -- everything Olive thinks she’ll never be. When she falls through a portal into her own unfinished story, Olive finds herself in a world in peril: double suns scorch the land, the brutal Prince Burnash seeks supreme power, and Coseema is nowhere to be found. Together with her friends - a bold poet, a cursed musician, a renegade soldier, and an adventurous girl from the desert -- Olive will have to face her deepest fears to find the hero in herself.
“The Lucasfilm-esque milieu, blending magic with exobiology, astrophysics, and a painless layering of multiculturalism, is a tantalizing one. Portman adds a layer of emotion via Olive’s struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety… A superhero creator’s angst-y perils make this tale a strong start to a space saga." – Kirkus Reviews
"One of the best parts about this book is the very unique and memorable protagonist, Olive. She suffers from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and anxiety (actual OCD, not the Hollywood kind), and it is portrayed extremely well. Perhaps one of the best portrayals of the disorder I've seen." -- Amazon Review

I would advise against doing that, my literature work is probably a hot piece of garbage, but your welcome to knock yourself out. The link to it is here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0987Q38G6
Technically the book is a translation of a popular manga/anime. "Diamond is Unbreakable". But I've carefully rewatched the show and tried my best to convey the action and dialogue purely through emojis. Some with which I had to create myself and are therefore not part of the standard emoji unicode.

Hey Y’all! 😄
Well, after taking 16 years to publish my first book (Fate of the Firelight), I was determined to write my next book much faster. In fact, I challenged myself to write the next one in 16 days. While I didn’t accomplish that goal, I did manage to write the rough draft of The Liar’s Bite in that time.
But now I’ve got two books published!!! I did it!!!
Here is a little bit more about The Liar’s Bite:
“Nine tales that will sink their teeth into you and not let go. Two detectives seek answers at a grisly massacre, a bullied boy struggles with his tragic memories, and a man shipwrecked on a sandbar must cross unspeakable lines to survive. These stories and more—-will haunt you into the night.”

Genre: Psychological Thriller/Fantasy
Blurb: Waking to a living nightmare, David White finds himself trapped in his own home. Accompanied only by his dog Buddy, they search for a way out before it’s too late. But the key to their escape is trapped within his shattered memory.
This week the kindle version is only $0.99 cents on Amazon.

Transforming an organization, fixing equipment, or weeding the garden: problem solving is a part of our lives. Beyond their peculiarities, all problems have the same underlying characteristics. Like a master key then, a fundamental method can be used to unlock problems of any type. Using an intuitive question-based style, SMART PROBLEM SOLVING presents this method in a distilled and authentic manner.
Make sure to read and leave an oinking review!!! :)

Dungeon Bunny
By Richard Hansen
This book is about a simple bunny. Not a reincarnated human, not a beast person, not even a were-bunny, just a simple bunny. But she dreams big.
The world is in peril and fate needs a hero to save it. Sometimes all fate gets is a bunny. She is a dungeon creature bound by the rules of the dungeon. Her job is to do bunny things, like eat and hop, and eventually fall prey to larger creatures. A bunny need do nothing more. However, she cannot help herself. Everyday as adventurers pass through the cave that she calls home, she hears them talking. Their words are wonderful, and she learns as many as she can while trying to ignore the epic tragedy of her life. She is just a bunny, and there is no way that a bunny could ever be like an adventurer, no matter how many words she knows.
Get it on amazon. It is also be available through kindle unlimited.
You can also read the first chapter for free on my website.
This is the first novel that I have published, so regardless of how it sells, I am pretty excited!

Kipexo is a battle-wounded commander just trying to return to active duty. To get him back to the front lines faster, his friends suggest he adopt an Earthling, a rescued human from the dying planet Earth. He thought he’d be getting a simple servant ready and willing to lend a helping hand, but from the day Ethan arrives, it becomes clear Kipexo got a whole lot more than he bargained for.
Ethan doesn’t know a word of Kipexo’s language, can’t follow even simple instructions, and seems bent on disobeying his new master at every turn. As Kipexo struggles to tame his new Earthling, he’s torn between the urge to punish Ethan and the desire to hold him close. When he learns Ethan has some scars of his own, Kipexo wonders if he should find the human a more suitable master or simply give in to temptation and take Ethan to bed.

Good evening, everyone! This is Sin Eater, my first ever published novel with Dreaming Big Publications. The cover is also my artwork. Here’s that synopsis:
“Two years ago, Jayde Holloway discovered that she had the power to erase memories in the worst way possible: by accidentally wiping her best friend Jenny’s at the end of their senior year. Now, shut off from the world, Jayde exists solely for her role as the Sin Eater, an entity who can take away a person’s every bad memory if they so wish… for a price. Jayde hates the lonely life that she’s dealt, especially under her strict boss Jak, who consistently keeps her under his watchful eye through blackmail: a constant reminder of all of her mistakes. When she must travel back to her hometown, Jayde secretly befriends two siblings with a haunted past of their own. As her own painful memories begin to overwhelm, Jayde must make a choice: remain chained to a familiar but hurtful past, or reveal all of her darkest secrets for what could be a better future.”

Donald Trump’s depraved, unquenchable thirst for gauche iconification made him a demagogic savior for an electorally declining conservative movement absorbed in an insular, persecution-complexed zeitgeist of xenophobia and ends-justify-the-means political villainy.
This book mocks all of that with savage humor, and Dash MacIntyre's collection of satire and parody caricatures the Trump family and administration, Trump's Congressional sycophants and enablers, MAGA racists, right-wing media, the Religious Right, gun nuts, police brutality, and many more deserving subjects.
Follow The Halfway Post on a hilarious stroll through the infamous absurdities of the Trump years, and enjoy a liberal supply of comedy because Trumpian fascism is a big, fat, stupid joke that should be laughed at forever.

Lorelei Fischer desperately needed somewhere to spend the night, and, as if by magic, Moonlit Shores Manor appeared.
But there’s a cost for everything, magic included.
More than willing to escape her old life and fill the open position at the bizarre bed and breakfast, Lorelei quickly learns of the dangers waiting for her. She’s only human, after all, and casting spells, shifting into wild animals, and caring for mythical creatures aren’t exactly in the wheelhouse of a former barista and art school failure. At the manor, faeries might pull tricks on you while washing linens, werewolves might try to rough up your bellboy, and a shadowy presence in the woods might be your undoing if you ask too many questions.
With the help of her supernatural, live-in coworkers, Moonlit Shores Manor could be Lorelei’s sanctuary from her past mistakes. Though as the truth of the manor’s history unravels, it could just as likely become another place Lorelei must flee to save not just her reputation but her life.

And the Blurb on the back cover

Let me take away the things you like.
The comforts that you find and the joys you keep safe. They fit nicely in boxes, in trucks, and in rooms. Ones that aren't quite you but entirely yours.
Take you far into the country where the bus is always on time but never connects with the trains you're used to. Where the neighbourhood is filled with guns but no crime. Where the only murders you hear of are feathered, and the only thing that's stolen is hearts, or the occasional goat.
A place where you can't skateboard to save your life, and a place where the snow is most definitely trying to kill you. Along with the bullies at your new high school, your only high school, the only high school. you'll love it, or else.
Let me show you family like it's supposed to be, and friends like they're not. Let me show you the tenderness of a twelve-gauge shotgun, and the violence of a kiss.
Let me take you from the city you know and put you into the country that will come to know you.
That you may find what Rural life is all about.

She signs on and finds herself catapulted into a world that is far more dangerous, and requires far more of her, than she ever imagined. The creatures and the burning heat aboveground are not the only threats facing the City, and what she learns during her assignment could cost her her life: one of the greatest threats to the City may in fact lie within. With thousands of lives at stake, can she act in time?
Aestus is an adult dystopian science-fiction series set centuries after climate change has ravaged much of Earth. An epic story of vengeance, power, shifting loyalties, and survival that looks at just how far people will go to protect what they love, brought to you by science writer S.Z. Attwell, Aestus paints a picture of a world in which far too little has changed.
This book has been 6 years in the making. I'm not saying it was worth it, but I'm absolutely happy to have finished it. And I'm also proud of how it came out.
