Go look at the hard core EU 4 man ladder and you find me at spot 1-2 as DPS https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/rankings/season/10/rift-hardcore-team-4 Hope you feel as dumb as you sound. Also finished Season 9 as rank 1 on 4 man ladder.

Anyway like it says in description, rewatching this myself, this didn't look as fun as my 102 clear, mainly because I got super lucky with the affixes, plus I did a few trash pulls as well, so some people will probably dislike the playstyle.

Alright so basically not much to say, changed some stuff around since last time I posted a clear. Went for the next breakpoint, switched to enchantress, also got a sick primal CoE in the meantime that made this possible.
I've also done 106 some 12 hrs earlier so you can check that one as well (kinda rushed rendering of it so that's why no sound on it). Probably the last push I'll do this season, since this rift was near perfect in almost every way, maybe an extra pack on the conduit, or better boss, but other than that it doesn't get much better. Also had the easiest elites I've seen in a while, no wormholes, only 1 arcane pack which I skipped..
Anyway hope you enjoy the clear!
Feels like that because he IS pulling that out of his ass.
If you like the necromancer or not is one thing, but he is a completly new model with completly new talents, skills and animations. 4 complett new sets too for him. This can easily confirmed by going here https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/blog/20324407 or just watching one of the several youtube/twitch vods from the beta.
Stop spreading bullshit.
But if you compare to other games with skill / talent trees the field is positively anemic.
Each class can choose one of three mutually exclusive colours. Red/blue/purple with no mix and match. Then they get to choose from 2 groups of 4 skills. With no mix and match.
Compare that to the vanilla wow talent calculator rpgworld.altervista.org/classic_vanilla_talent/hunter.php
Or even the modern one https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/game/talent-calculator
Or Diablo https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian
Or destiny one https://birkholz.github.io/destiny-skills/
Meanwhile destiny 2's talent calculator option is to choose the top button or the bottom one.
4 man RG killer pet build with Inarius set is more damage and easier to keep up. You only need to have 2-3 skeleton mages up all the time at boss (summon a new third one every 4 sec to keep up the 10 stack). Still testing different build options, but did a 4 man 110 in 10:55. Needed about 1 minute to bring boss (Orlash) down to 60%. We took Power pylon and the boss melted to 18% (= kill) within 2 seconds (coe phys).
Here's the build I used: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Donaga-1552/hero/95609250
Was inspired by 117 clear on Asia. Maybe Simulacrum - Reservoir instead of Blood Rush or Frailty. Attack Speed on rings probably could be replaced by weapon damage. CDR on offhand to Elite dmg.
Boss with adds seem to be very bad. Even though you can "command" your skeletons to attack what you want, I experienced bosses with adds take very little dmg compared to single target bosses.
Will test further with better gear and augments.

maybe not your purple-arcane ... but you could still run the extrem lazy firebird, with "Etched Sigil" and "Ranslor's Folly" .... https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/etched-sigil https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/ranslors-folly
just ran around, desintegrate everything which wants to hit you .... and see how they get sucked into your tornados, get the extra-fire dmg and die pretty easy and fast ...
as i sayed ... its def. a totally lazy build, good for sunday mornings, where you just need your mouse and have the other hand free for your coffee-mug
:)
Whoops, I was away for a bit and couldn't get back to you.
Basically, John Yang the dev in charge of DH's did a writeup for the DH class shortly before D3's launch, and in it he essentially endorsed stutter stepping as a valid game mechanic that was purposefully designed in, making reference to marine micro in Starcraft and so on.
As far as I know, this is one of the more solid pieces of evidence that stutter stepping is working as intended.
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/blog/10040335/which-class-will-you-play-11-05-2012
>"I love kiting enemies with my demon hunter. One of my favorite things to do in StarCraft II is "stutter-stepping" marines, and it turns out you can stutter-step a demon hunter too! Being able to reposition myself on the battlefield in between shots lets me kite enemies when I'm solo, or position myself perfectly in co-op play. Played well, I can dodge projectiles or get out of fires with little to no loss in DPS. The demon hunter can truly shine in the hands of a skilled player, but you need a good strategic sense to manage your resources responsibly, excellent micro to maximize your damage, and intimate knowledge of your skills to wreak maximum havoc on your enemies."
you can check my seasonal necro: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/highq-2314/hero/101601999
i have mouse with 2 side buttons:
left mouse button moves (while kept down)
right mouse activates armor (once in a while, for example each elite pack)
mouse wheel click teleports (rush)
sidebuttons are occasional, only for Rift Guardian (for TX13/subGR70 i don't use these in between, just once at the end)
no need for keyboard at all. one hand plays and the other one holds my beer-
for TX13/sub70 i swap aquila for stuarts in the cube, don't need them. for groups, use RoRG, and use aquiala or stuarts. (the other one in the cube).
i ran few 75-s with current setup, so used aquila instead of stuards just because i was too lazy to bother with avoiding damage.
sure, it's not for pushing, it's for lazy runs. i did GR81 @ 7min or so. prolly tops out at around 85 without GG gearing.
Kymbo's Gold roll up to 100%. To min/max you want to be a monk or barb since you can dual wield two swords with +80% instead of 80 from mainhand and 35 from offhand.
Check my gold find char: Link!.
Best you can do on DH.
Your crit chance is way too low as you lose too much damage from it. You have no attack speed on a single item which makes you deal way less damage than you'd think. Also Illusory Boots are an absolute must have item for the build to work well.
So ... Roll attack speed on Barber - Get Illusory Boots - Frostburn with attack speed - wailing host and litany with atleast double stat preferably tristat - hellfire amulet with atleast double stat preferably tri stat - replace witching hour with a 45%+ version - Also I'd use Andariels with Cold Damage and 15% spirit barage over Jerams and the Belt in cube. Just cube Jerams instead exept you go for solo pushes. And get 15% spirit barage damage on helm boots and offhand ... ALWAYS
that's basicly what i'd do in the order I listed things.
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Casheew-2189/hero/96814079 compare with my gear - I do 95s in 3s in 7mins and 100s in 4s in 7mins depenind on who of my friends is online. But I'd assume that you can easily do 80s with your current gear or even 85-90s in 4man however not on farm speed levels :p
Life is hard but will go on. Luckily it's easy to reroll now and I didn't lose but level 60 gear mostly. Rerolled another WD and managed to kill malthael last night. Thank god I dropped to hard on him though I ran the act with extreme got my first lvl 70 item from maltha and rerolled cc to socket. Pretty happy for my prox 8 hour WD.
My account: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Kurkkis-2131/hero/38645885
LoN builds are difficult to construct, promote innovation, and should be valorised. I tried every sets with my monk in Season 10. As a newish player, my LoN Lashing Tail Kick build was my biggest achievement and a real pride (yeah and that primal in-geom)
There is a other build that uses a totally different setup for solo that i've been using to do 85-95s with very little deaths ( shitty packs can be annoying to set on fire ) But that halo of karini helps alot on the front of survival, and once you get the ignited stacks on you, you become realy damn tanky, i've aten quite a pew parendi punches in a 90 with the karini version : current setup https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/battle-1736/hero/81335029
I actually saw the build from this thread, realized I had everything for it and tried. My god this is so much better than every T13 speedfarm option the barbs have and it's not even a contest.
Charge requires management of fury/boulder toss for berserker uptime. Plus you can miss your charges quite frequently, which leaves you out like a sitting duck.
Whirlwind is inconsistent and difficult to gear for at best. However this build requires absolutely no skill/fury/cooldown management, fast killing elites and charge away to the next elite. This is basically a vyr/rasha archon who doesnt require paralysis proc. I played with monks, DH's, wizards and necroes who claim to be really fast in t13, and this easily keeps up with them if not beat them by milliseconds.
For reference, here is my profile. Higher paragon (currently 760~), higher gem levels, a pig sticker, attack speed on gloves and rings can be added so still has room for improvement.
I highly recommend this setup to everyone else. You'll be amazed.
And thank you so much for sharing this build.
I did grift 82 with this HC barb (with the gear you have) some season ago (after the change to WW), so you have plenty of room for improvement! :)
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/MagnusN-2169/hero/70100783
Was probably around P800 when I did this.
You can just look at mine to compare (as of posting using impale build), just from a quick glance you are lacking a lot of offense stats compared to mine as you can see my damage stat is double yours.
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Groonz-2800/hero/94545698
Rings should always take both crit change/dmg stats (one of mine still lacks it).
Your amulet lacks crit chance and still had potential to reach higher crit damage.
Missing crit chance on wrists. Also the bracers I have increase your damage after you vault stun enemies which greatly increases your damage.
More ancient gear for more stats.
Using a pain enhancer gem increases your attack speed. Not sure on the data but it probably goes better than a bane of powerful (since guides suggest pain for higher grifts)
Necro.
1: Weapon & Shield - Kadala 1 hand weapon and sheild then upgrade your rares till you have the Jesseth set.
2: Start on season journey. https://d3resource.com/journey/ After you get your 4-piece (completing chapter 3) hope fully you would have picked up other set items along the way. I was luck and had a 2 piece pestilence with my 4 piece rathma so doing a GR 20 was really easy. Complete chapter 4 and you should now have the fully 6 and start doing some real damage (well your pets will)
With ALL of the pieces you can do a GR70 pretty comfortably: (it took me a while because the silly Circle of Nailujs Evol would refuse to drop for me and most of my pieces are not the greatest rolled)
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/volcom99-1751/hero/97098513
Rotation it pretty much send your commands out then summon mages, use the reapers and devour to build essence to summon more mages. Use Ice Golem to freeze elites when Land of the Dead is on cool down.
i still have my HC Witch Doctor :)
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/OraK-2941/hero/59574634 (from Vanilla to RoS para has been converted to 111)
I didn't touch it anymore cause i felt like that Vanilla HC was different from the RoS one, reaching para100 had a different feeling and satisfaction, that was one of the best moment i've ever had on Diablo.
That char and those moments don't belong to RoS, i'm gonna leave it as it is for the good old times :)
hey dude, here is the stuff:
a guy named raijin -his/her armory link- climbed the solo WD leader boards with this new build in the past week. he got to the #11 spot (for Grift 41) in EU at first, but he was bumped a bit down by jade wds since then.
the main features of the build are a Tiklandian helm with a diamond in socket for CDR, a 4seconds Homunculus, and preferably a SMK. (he has been trying to increase his dmg further with changes to pants and boots. he had cain's pants and boots, but changed into pox faulds and illusory boots since his ranking.)
you need %12.5 CDR on helm, full paragon points for CDR, and another %8 CDR on another item for dropping horrify to ~7.9 seconds. basically, you horrify non-stop.
play style consists of running into monsters with spiritwalk while horrifying and rooting monsters for 8 secs and doing whatever you want while they stand still. provoke the pack is there to bump your dmg higher before your fetishes chop down the elites like empty trees. that's it.
i found this video by another guy as well: video
(please don't mind his rather stupid enthusiasm.)
i hope this helps.

Profile: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Glimwick-2274/hero/97050888
Hello! It's been a while since I posted a vid here, since I was waiting to clear something worth posting, so here it finally is. Spec and everything is basically the same as my 105-107 clears last season.
Since I know someone will ask it, no, I didn't forget the one enslaved nightmare, I just chose not to chase it around and skip the pack. I did eventually kill the other 2 but chasing those ranged mobs when you're basically fighting 5 mobs in total is never a good idea so I just made the decision to skip it and look for progress elsewhere.
Hope you enjoy the clear!
Yup, swapped out the nerfed gem and am still doing T13 for 3-4 mins. Ref items. (https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Ashandarey-2299/hero/95877684) Haven't tried pushing since nerf, but switching for APD, Daintee allows for comfortable 85 pushes. It, sadly, won't be leaderboard viable anymore, but otherwise, it's all good.
Greater Rift 111 Solo LoN Barber WD clear in 14:39 (NS - Era 7 - Patch 2.5.0)
Rank EU #2 - World #3 - 24/06/2017
Clear done without Conduit Pylon. I got lucky on the Vessel pack and on Binder w/ Power Pylon tho but considering the map, I'm happy with this clear :) As you can see in the introduction, I got quite alot of close tries in GR111, including two clears ~30 seconds too late on Floor 7. I'm still opening GR113 right now, trying to clear it before Era 7 ends !
Enjoy !

EDIT2 : Finally got a version that works, here is the link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGR1GLNEwAE
I got some tips for you, i'm running this build too.
Drop your SoJ for either CoE or Elusive Ring (Wear one and cube one)
Change Vault rune to Rattling Roll and switch your Lacuni bracers to Ancient Parthan Defenders. ( If you feel like you have enough toughness without Ancient Parthan Defenders, use Strongarm Bracers for more damage, and use Vault to procc them )
Drop your Witching Hour and replace it with Chain of Shadows ( This belt is a must for this build ) You are going to vault like crazy using this build when hunting for elite packs, proccing Elusive Ring and your Strongarm's/Defender's.
Drop either Marked for Death or Wolf Companion for Fan of Knives - Bladed Armor, remember to keep the buff up at all times.
Drop Steady Aim, this passive is absolutely shit for this build since you are going to vault trough mobs and stand close to elites to make sure all 3 daggers from Impale - Ricochet is hitting one target. I would replace it with Leech since it works well with Shadow Power.
Change your cubed Leoric's Crown to Aquila Curiass. This will give you a 50% damage reduction when at full hatered, which is pretty damn awesome. If you have Dawn cubed and using Gogok of Swiftness and a Diamond in helm you only need ONE Cooldown Reduction roll on your gear to have full uptime on Vengeance. No need for leoric's.
Start leveling gems for your Caldesann's Despair's and enchant the gear that have all-around good rolls. More Dex is not just more damage since Dex increases your Armor aswell!
Here is my Profile, that's the build i'm currently running. Clearing GR80's solo in about 4-5 mins.
Also since you play EU, you can add me if you want, we can run some GR's together if you want gear faster. My tag is Thrashie#2864
Good luck and happy farming!
My lightning sweeper gr95 patch 2.4.3
Considering the build got a *(26/13.5) buff, it will be able to clear at least 100 this patch.
I already cleared gr95 with the same gear in a really average/bad rift on live 2.5.0 and tried some 102. Build is extremely tanky and very fun to play, you can literally stand in every thing and not suffer any damage as long as you have density.
In 102 the damage starts to be really lacking sadly, but I have yet to play on my big computer (right now I am on my laptop) and to really fish for a decent rift (festering woods & battlefields are more or less mandatory because you need so much trash to make progress).
As far as holy version is concerned, I am afraid you will be much more squishy for the added bonus of absolutely nothing. You can play lightning, fire is... about on par, a bit behind. Holy just won't do anything lightning can't, honestly.
> Do I wait until level 70 to do seasons?
Your non-seasonal character is irrelevant for this.
> And What do Seasons entail?
Current season is ending in a week. Your chances of getting to the stash tab reward are slim to nonexistent unless you get carried through rifts and boss kill objectives by another player.
When i look at your gear there's lots of room for improvement.
Gems: Bane of the Trapped (After rank 25 it triggers itself) Gogok of Swiftness Estoric Alteration if you need defence Taegeuk for dmg if you can keep the stacks up.
Skills:
Passives:
Follower:
For solo play you want the Templar. Learn him inspire instead of Guardian for 1.1x spirit regen. More spirit = More dashes = More dmg.
Play alot with friends/public groups, mostly there are people with insane clear speed which should help you farm upgrades. You can check out my Monk for some gearing tips if you'd like :) solo GR41 at the moment, haven't pushed any further.
Should help you progress further and set some goals for your character :)
Yes, have had this several times tonight for the first time this season.
Despite being fully repaired upon entering GR, not having died and mask having 100% durability.
TP'ing out and repairing fixes it for a short time, but how on earth do you set a time in Tier 50+ while having to TP out every couple of minutes.
Assuming you played M6 /w frostfire build, gear is mostly the game, Tasker and Theo is no longer the best choice, it's either Cindercoat or Pride's Fall now.
Playstyle has changed a bit though, you don't drop sentries and hide anymore, for your sentries to fire your hatred spender, you need to shoot.
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/idarz-2575/hero/43771658 - my profile, you can see the build here (I recently came back too, need to craft better Arcane Barb, trying out Chakram + CA with Spines of Seething Hatred atm, seems fun.)
1 - Check my (armory)[https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Kikaha-2290/hero/44085022]
2 - It's good but hard to get because you already need a ton of cdr. Unless you are pushing to the extreme limits, it's not a deciding gear factor.
3 - Thunderfury. Btw, my follower didn't have a weapon for my 119.
4 - Best trash is swarms, followed by lacuni/phasebeasts probably. You need a ton of density for lacuni/phasebeasts though. Pretty much all the 4p good mobtypes are good for crusader tbh. As far as boss are concerned, I'd say bone warlock and the spider queen are the best. Escandiel is nice but it's hard to stack stricken on him and you lose a ton of time that way.
Yeah, Halo of Karini is really what you need. Basically you are already doing great, you got a poor roll on your bracers (76%), no augments I could see and mostly non-ancient gear, legendary gems only at 60, so GR 85 is awesome already!
The getting one-shot part is certainly helped/avoided by getting Unity & Halo of Karini (the latter in cube generally). So yeah you would have to replace the helmet for unity probably. Firebirds is a bit different, you should switch if you prefer the style, especially since you haven't augmented yet.
The follower just needs the 'doesn't die' relic, the rest is flavour: I like having a setup like this on my templar, as you can see I haven't rolled strength or anything on him, just a good oculus and nice CC weapon: just by unity and karini I pushed 92 yesterday without shield bracers.
If we're nominating challenge rift toons, can I please throw my hat into the ring with this:
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Istaria-2554/hero/92749960
(all found in S10, was a season toon at the time)
Crumble used to do a "beam" of some sort when you kill an enemy with it. If I recall correctly it did 660% damage on proc and it worked really well when there were a lot of weaker enemies. I've done a whole season with it and it was really fun to use.
As stated [here]{https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/class/crusader/active/shield-bash} it only boosts damage to 875% now...
Not the best, but i can do 77-79 solo i still have my fair share of upgrades to do. https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/StfAlx-2329/hero/97718751. My advice is open the leader board and check out the first impale build. Im tring to copy that. Shift + L in game i think. Cheers. Also my hoky point quiver is primal :)
I'd suggest trying different legendary gems.
Whilst you have Enforcer, you are missing Zei's Stone of Vengeance, which is 50% or more damage whilst you are at far range which is exactly where you should be, it also procs your Krysbin's and you could be using Esoteric Alteration for the huge non-physical damage reduction.
The build you are running requires you to be at the edge of the screen, really far away from mobs and just let your mages pound them down. You shouldn't be taking damage from anything major, being sure to focus the ranged mobs first.
Looking more specifically, get Reaper's Wraps or Nemesis Bracers instead of Lacuni, you need to replace your weapon as whilst it is ancient it misses +essence, and with Reilena's cubed that's up to 10% damage missing plus some extra, that's really big.
You can take a look at my same-build Necro for comparison just here but there are definitely things you can change up. :).
to play more effecient, you should change your bracers to nemesis. you need every pack you can get, to get the best use of in-geom.
you need higher paragon and maybe try to upgrade your items with the cube to get some more int.
and try just to hit enemys with the tip of archon blast.
maybe you have to change your playstyle a bit.
thats me: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Oc3an-1185/hero/97354461 no big difference to yours, but t13 is no problem for me.
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/AwesomeAfro-2820/hero/97301303
Far, far, far from optimal. My Shenlongs sucks. But the sheer amount of toughness Inna's gives you compared to raiments is nuts. Let me know what you think and where I can improve
As others have already mentioned it, the first priority is to get the set through season chapters, which shouldn't be a problem if you can clear T4 rifts. I'm using the same build from the beginning, which revolves around Skeletal mages and quickly replenishing essence. link to profile
Singularity deals massive damage, but requires a lot of essence. To achive that I use a combination of three things:
The only mandatory piece is the Reaper's Wraps, but the recipe is a fix drop from Malty, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Other things nice to have:
I would also like some comments on it and possible ways to improve.
Sure, i'd love to if you just tell me where and how to link my profile :).
Edit: nvm i found it <3, the necro is called Wakesyouup and here is the profile- https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Qristalx-1733/hero/96197895
for the DH:
take off hexing and complete shadow set, completely change jewelry (compass rose/traveler's pledge equipped and either CoE or Elusive Ring equipped and the other one cubed), cube Dawn to get Vengeance full uptime (with gogok stack, helm gem and shoulder CDR) get an emerald on the weapon
reference: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Caleb-2975/hero/7710292
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Tel-1980/hero/95227650 - Pet build.
Doing GR90 comfortably - 91 will be doable with a small amount of fishing to avoid mobs the leap on me from off screen. I'm only 800 paragon, so someone with a few more paragon levels under their belt could prolly push this to 95 reasonably.
At what GR are you playing atm?
Are you using the Shame of Delsere belt? This should solve any and all AP problems you might have.
Rotation is pretty simple. Make sure you have Arcane Orb up all the time. That's it.
Getting the most out of your Arcane Orbs:
Teleport into middle of group. Stay alive using Safe Passage + Halo of Arlyse proc. Cast Explosive Blast, wait for stacks from Orb of Infinite Debt + 5 dynamo stacks + 3 Triumvirate stacks -> recast Arcane Orb now with all the multipliers from aformentioned stacks. Watch everything around you explode: if not dead and/or higher GR, rinse & repeat.
Stacks from EB will give you 20% dmg increase (and 60% DR). Stacks from Triumvirate will do 600% dmg. Stacks from Dynamo 60% dmg increase. All of them combined make for Big Ass Arcane Orbs. Find a decent Unstable Scepter and you will do tons of damage. (obviously alongside your set bonus of 3500%)
Of course the damage will still be lackluster compared to Lightning ManHeal build, but it's good enough to do GR60-GR70 with mediocre gear.
As a monk-only player, who usually gets top 200+ in the first few weeks of a season, before stoping to play eventually, thats my advice:
There are two viable innas builds atm. I myself run the EP-Innas monk, as its just more fun to play imo(Oneshooting elites in 80+ with the right setup) - the keystats for that build are: critchance, criitdmg, cold% and areadmg.
If you want to run this build change the following items:
In the cube, take fist of az, gundgos and a unity for solo/obsidian ring for groups
And change the following skills:
Inner sanctuary to explosive palm (frost dmg.(i belive the rune is called impending doom in english))
And take the waterally as rune.
The second innas build is the shenlongs generator build, which has a completely different playstyle, the keystats for that build are: critchange, critdmg, fire%, areadmg and attackspeed.
If you want to run this build change the following items:
In the cube, change the oculus ring to a RRoG.
In your inventory change the CoE to a unity for solo play, swith the daibo for the two shenlong weapons.
And change the following skills:
Crippling wave (firedmg rune)
Now lets head to the statoptimization of evey item you wear atm:
Head: Life per Spirit spent - Critchange
Shoulder: Allydmg - CDR or areadmg
Amulet: Vita - critchance or cold/fire%
Bracers: life per sec - cold/fire%
Compass rose: life per sec - critdmg
Pants: Generator dmg - allres/Crippling wave dmg
And if you ever want to have a nice working speedfarm build for t13, take a look at my monk atm:
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Todnesser-2641/hero/91250672
There are a few variations in the top of the boards I can see:
Threatening Shout - Demoralize - A significant source of incoming damage reduction, as well as the utility of better grouping
Ancient Parthan Defenders with Freeze/Stun on relevant equipment (glove, belt, weapons) - A potentially significant source of DR in density
Wrenching Smash with Strongarms - I suspect this build has to fish a lot more for good rifts as it sacrifices the DR bonuses of the other two for increased damage
Looking at your profile, I see you have opted for Wind Shear instead of Blood funnel, meaning you have significantly less recovery than some variants as well.
Additionally you have opted for Rage Flip instead of Ground Stomp, and Impunity instead of Charge! on War Cry, meaning not only do you have significantly reduced Fury generation outside of density and reduced crowd control, you also have an additional fury expenditure to proc your Strongarms. I would not be surprised if you occasionally have to stop WW between packs and eat the odd fatal projectile as a result. It's also greatly reducing your damage potential if you aren't maintaining the Fury required for Berserker Rage.
I also see you've taken Sword to Plowshares instead of Bloodshed on Battle Rage, which offsets the loss of Blood Funnel on WW (probably more than, given your HP value, or any reasonable HP value, really), but I'm fairly certain the damage difference between Bloodshed and the damage added by Strongarms is firmly in favor of Bloodshed.
I think you've chosen a variant with less toughness and less damage, it's only advantage being higher recovery.
And your profile just changed, so now I look like a crazy person.
You mean this game? https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/
That's getting a new class? That has continous seasons and support? That now has seasons on consoles? That's actually getting frequently updated every other week with new features?
I'm trying an Impale build and while I do great damage, I'm terribly squishy. To the point that I can barely do 70-75 because I die so easily.
This is my character, any suggestions? I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I'd say that my gear is pretty good.
Well the running around part on lon usually happens when u start pushing. The thing with it is most of your damage is based around 3 things; the CoE, the belt and the manual proc on bombs, and the optimal way to play the build is sync everything up and have it do dmg during the phys CoE. Well actually technically 4 I guess since you've also got hexing pantalones, thats the big difference between lon and invoker I guess, since you're FORCED to move all the time, so why not have extra move speed as well there..
I guess, if you had a gun to my head and I HAD to drop the steed, I would go with falling sword, rapid descent, since you want to have some kind of mobility skill. You will have to go with something like ingeom and mortal drama cubed tho (thats my normal setup with horsie anyway in 70s). The one problem with falling sword is that it can get seriously infuriating with closed doors (same as monk or wiz, if you played those classes you should know what I'm talking about).
Anyway since you dind't link your profile I'll link you mine. This is basically the best setup I've found in my exp for t13/70-75 rifts, since you said you were doing those (the 70s were done on season with no problem with about 2k para). https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Glimwick-2274/hero/84316422 Obviously you'll change the boon and gloves if you're running grs for something else and the shoulders arent as good as they used to be since the newly crafted ones only roll 2 pickup but yea, you get the point I hope.
Yes you can do that. There is a really good tank build for barbs. You can easily do GR80+ in two-man with that combo. Gearing will be sort of like this: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/zork-2480/hero/88853307
For key farming you spam GR11. The WD will use chicken and you as the barb will pick up speed WW with Waste6/BK2 or any Raekor build.
Once you have keys switch to your high GR builds and farm GR70+ until you can do GR80+. This will get you tons of paragon and loot. When out of keys switch back to your keyfarmers.
It's a matter of affixes and augments. I'm running GR 80 with the gear you see here: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/HorsemanFive-2134/hero/45272311 (disregard the passives, I swapped Cull The Weak for Leech just to test the change in performance)
1st choice would be to log on to battle.net website and see your profile and link that. eg. https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Malix-1345/hero/49747330 is my dh.
option 2 would be to use http://www.d3planner.com/ and import your character there (its fairly simple) and then save & share link.
Well. shit, this is exactly where my newbieness shines through I didn't even think I could do such a thing, but I'll assume this is what you mean: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/MagicTurtle-217994/hero/78583604 if not please tell me how these things work because I can't trust myself.
@ DasLicht, if this persists please compile your Pathping then post that to our technical support forum, and link me your thread once you've done so. Much appreciated!
I literally just checked the S3 leaderboards 5 minutes ago. Maybe you should "do the slightest bit of research."
Pure tal rasha, pure delsere, 6p tal/4p delsere (5/3 with rorg technically), firebirds. Which you choose is a matter of preference, they can all clear g50+ solo. I'm personally going full tal since you can't use focus/restraint with a talsere setup and I like blowing stuff up with meteors.
As far as beginner builds, I always use something like this with a slow 2h weapon. Simple to use and effective enough at lower torments until you get some set bonuses going.
Crafting Born + Cain's set can help with leveling up, extra cooldown reduction and attack speed from both set bonuses are nice.
My seasonal WD I made couple of days ago - https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Idarz-2575/hero/56338069 (got lucky with T&T and SMK, made things easier, I can do T4-5 comfortably)
Here's my profile: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Furka-2734/hero/1945875
Without smk: replace slam dance for zombie dogs with final gift. Sacrifice/provoke the pack is a really nice damage buff
So I'm playing the Ball Lightning/ HellTrapper build until the new patch, but I'm kinda stuck with my DPS. I can do Torment 3 comfortably, but anything up is just slow. I've seen many DH with sheet damage far over 1million yet my own build seems to be stuck at around 650K and that's even without SoJ (which usually lowers your sheet DPS).
For example I followed this guide: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/3053-meticulous-punishment-tier-45-update-26-oct-2014
His sheet DPS is 1.5 million (!?) http://imgur.com/Xh8HPkg,mWafQ1H#1
Now I understand he has probably BiS gear and I'm far from that, but I do have all the pieces. So what should I aim for replacing to start doing T6 comfortably?
Here is my battle.net profile: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/N0XIE-2597/hero/50971933
tl;dr: I have everything for Meticulous Bolt build, but I lack DPS to do T6: what do I need to be able to do T6
edit Just wanted to thank everyone for the help. With small adjustments I went from 650 sheet DPS unbuffed to 900 sheet DPS unbuffed while maintaining the 4.15 breakpoint. I can do T6 now, but slow and die a few times due to everything oneshotting me and me being dumb with smokescreen, but it's managable.
They actually covered a build using Light of Grace on yesterday's livestream.
Enjoyed it. I'm working on something similar, here's my current version: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/mirage-2926/hero/42758220
I love Sunwuko's 2pc buff but I have the "wrong" pieces unfortunately, hope RNG will solve that someday ;) I have a Kekegi waiting in stash.
I didn't know we could still snapshot BF. Thought that was fixed ages ago since it was abused in SW. Will surely give that a try instead of my Fire Ally.
my profile, it says 600k dps, but with Battle Rage and the passives, I'm easily at 1m. And then, HotA has +25% crit chance, 133% damage from the belt, %physical, %skill... You can't factor everything in the sheet dps.
So yeah... 800k is laughable because you can do fine with less...
Wow - That sucks :/
I dropped to Master after that fight.
Thankfully, "Brooding" on the Demon Hunter is rather over-powered when you have a large health pool.
I switched out my lifesteal when 2.0 was released. I am surviving okish on T5 but i have to use MoH with 20% dmg reduction. I think with enough life per second gear and a good toughness, you can tank T5/6 easily. I also recommend using DMG reducers like Crippling Wave and Resolve because you will need a pretty good damage reduction + life per second combo. A high HP pool isn't that viable compared to LpS/Dmg reduction.
Edit: My Profile
boots: AR 60+, STR 80+, VIT, Mspeed
helm: Str 50+, Vit, Critical rate, any amount of AR is good and socket
necklce: 450+ LoH, 7+ critical rate, str, vit and/or AR
main weapon is a hard choice that critical damage is cool but duel wield 2 slow weapons... i dunno, i prefer 1k+ dps main hand axe or mighty and offhand with high LoH cdamage str and socket
u can check my character and get some tips
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/ThePaleHero-2812/hero/14349250
DHs are probably faster on average since you can't get fucked over by bad floors. In my experience from speedgroups (1k++) DHs tend to be quickest, followed by WoL monks. The difference isnt too big, and whoever finishes their act first usually depends on who gets the better bounties.
If you run with DHS, aim for this build http://www.diablofans.com/builds/95745-2-6-1-fastest-multishot-t13-400-movespeed
I personally run with this setup https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Setriath-2132/hero/81365138
In my experience Pandemonium and Larceny is hands down the best ring setup out there for speed bounties (look at the secondaries). Beyond that there's quite a few setups you can use depending on gear.
Switch Land of the Dead to Army of the Dead. Your set bonus lowers the CD of AotD when minions hit, not LotD.
I suggest you change blood rush to bone armor for the big increase in survivability.
Some gear advice: Change ruby to emerald in your weapon. 130% Crit dmg will give you tons of damage.
Chest: Reroll skeleton damage to +vit
Pants: Roll bone spike damage to +vit
Boots: Roll life/sec to +skeletal mage damage
Amulet: Roll attack speed % to +% physical damage
Krysbin ring: You rerolled a secondary perk so its pretty meh now. Try to get one with (ideally) +int, +CHD, +CC, socket
Weapon: Roll attack speed to +% weapon damage.
Shield: Try to find a new one with +int, +Crit chance and some defensive stuff.
Try to get a tasker and theo to put in the cube!
Check out my necro for reference, I've also been playing some Rathma's lately. Clears T13 easily: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Mossel-1423/hero/102501891
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/MadSpanker-2619/hero/101966642
Is this the way to link my character? So with all useless legendaries/set items I salvage them for materials?
Really appreciate your help. Love D3 community.
The main reason would be that you don't have 56% cooldown reduction to reach 100% uptime on Akarat's Champion. This skill is basically the only reason people survive GR80+ since it increases your armor by 150%. To get that much cdr you will need to cube Leorics crown, equip Illusory Boots to keep their effect and swap your Hellfire Amulet for the Set Amulet to keep the 6-piece bonus. I also don't understand why you rolled Life per Hit on so many slots. This stat does next to nothing for condemn builds. I'll list some other stuff I noticed really quick:
If you follow all this you will fly through GR80 :)
Check my Crusader or the leaderborads for reference. I can speed farm GR90 with that build. If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask.
Cleared 100 today with a primal Ashbringer - https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Aegle-2722/hero/100980593
Might be missing ring's on profile, check my barb for them, there F&R /w BotT+Eso Leg gems
Cleared GR77 last night with this setup. (https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Spuda91-2129/hero/100939652) The Elusive ring helps a ton imo though I'm missing out on convention because of it. Right now I still had 6 to 8 mins time reserve and all GRs where done on the first try. But I'm expecting to hit the wall in early 80s.
And Vault a lot, don't spam it, but vault when they close up on you.
I'm not fussed about playing with a fixed group, I'd be fine with just having a few people on my friends list playing and we can just drop in / out as needed.
I have played today since 5 CET and experienced 0 goblins in the usual places, 1 goblin in an out of the way dungeon where you dont normally find goblns.. and no double goblins anywhere yet. This is after 3 hours of looking. Europe is getting the double goblins, just not sure when. Here is a link with that information https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/blog/21164550/double-trouble-incoming-2x-goblin-buff-begins-november-6th-28-10-2017
When season 11 started on the PS4, it was delayed a couple of days in Europe. I contacted Blizzard and was told that it is up to Sony as to when they release the new seasons and the like
I havent played monk for about 5 seasons so i am really looking for to starting a new monk char.
Ive been messing around with Ulianas on non-season for the past few days and i can clear a lvl 80 GR very easyily - level 70 gems and without any augmented items and without travellers amu and ring so there is so much more potential for this build.
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/magic-2667/hero/97627450
Would recommend.
I used a Focus Restraint Setup with Spirit Guards in cube. That said I am also really not practiced with this build and I didn't augment the set. This is my gear:
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/VERTIKAL-2611/hero/9739271
Just felt so bad to die so much when only doing a low 95.
I recently completed a 90 in HC with the Thorns Revive build. That was with barely 800 paragon and five augments. With two weeks left in the season, I hope to make it to 100 or die trying!
I'm fairly new to the spec, so I don't have a lot of my own advice to give. But I did find a couple good resources. This diablofans build page has the best info I've found about playstyle and mobs to look for and avoid. Make sure to read the comments, too:
I like that build, but I more closely follow the build I found on this toon (with a few modifications for HC):
I like this build better than the diablofans one, mainly because I like to use skellies. (Not sure why they're using the freeze rune on that skill; that makes no sense to me. Maybe there's a good reason for it, but I use the healing rune.)
One of the cool things about Thorns Revive is that there's still room to experiment and try different things. Hopefully, other players with more experience with the build will chime in here with some good advice.
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/th0r-2112/hero/97544182
thats my solo build tho, changing withcing hour for a curse belt with 450 int I still dont think that that high dps is req to do a proper Speed run 90, but thats just my 2 ct ;)
befor RoS the typ of item didnt matter at all. the only thing that matter were stats on items. so if your yellow items gave you more dmg there was no need to farm for a legendary. some of the legendary items just had rare stat rolls on them that made them vaible/stronger (witching hour).
in d2 legendaries just had more/better stats and rune words were just OP with special abilities.
with the new legendary effects this items now change your skills/play style. they increase the power of weak skills or give them special interactions. https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/etched-sigil
the new sets give now huge boost in power and survivability and are all about different play styles. https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/shrouded-mask
Hey, I think you should be able to do level 60-70 without too much of a problem. Your gems are lacking on levels which is gonna make pushing any higher a problem. Also you want to try and get +life for health globes and potions on most of your gear instead of pickup. That will make your Mantra of Healing even more effective, which you should be using over Mantra of Salvation.
Grind act 2 bounties for some Illusory Boots with dex on them, unless you want the all res which i don't think is needed with Esoteric Alteration.
I prefer using Inner Sanctuary with Temple of Protection rune, allowing you to be immune to CC while clumping mobs is invaluable to me over the healing that people receive from standing in it.
Your Hellfire, Oculus, and Strongarm Bracers should be priority to upgrade in my opinion. Try getting a Hellfire that has one of your current passives so you can switch in Chant of Resonance for example, will let you spam your Mantra without worrying about running out of spirit. An Oculus with higher passive roll, vit and cdr would be ideal, followed by a better rolled Strongarm.
I'm currently pushing 2 man level 98 rifts with a Rathma Necro mate. This is my Monk.
Here is also a link to guide which seems to be what you're aiming for.
Wish you the best of luck and have fun!
Awesome!
The build I am using is pretty similar to yours, except for the Endless Walk set: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Hous3r-2418/hero/97035664
Managed to clear GR95 yesterday. Probably should try go higher :)
The 2750% dmg buff from the set applies to the ring. Thats what makes it pretty powerful. You can easily test it, remove all dmg gems (PE and Poison-Gem, you can leave Trapped gem) and start a rift. I read somewhere that the dmg from the ring is comparable to a PE gem of level 16x....
From my personal tests i feel its a very good ring for Inarius.
I use this setup for T13 rifts: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/sal-2713/hero/96861483 ( i am in need of Topaz, hence the cubed helm and weird gem in helm )
I am rolanding those GR as well :D Currently GR68... that one level maaan! :D Group clear is fun, but I need extra 3 minutes and 1 loif just to slay the boss..
My gear is in pretty much the same shape as yours and I am working myself up the GRs (did GR63 last) with 5 minutes to spare. I am working on learning how to position myself as when you are out of Archon the trick is to get some seconds firing away that Arcane Torrent to proc the Zodiac ring. Unless you were able to take down an elite pack to trigger the In-Geom. And ofc those seconds are precious and can easily lead to death if there are ranged mobs around (in Archon, that slow time is immensely useful).
One thing I struggle with is forcing myself to move along to find an elite pack - just been very unlucky with lots of indoor rifts where its hard to move about, so the rift type can make a huge difference. But as I get the hang of this I notice rift times going down.
Oh and Parthan Defenders on your wrists give you more survivability.
My toon: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/johncl-2403/hero/98431266
This is my dad's build so far, still got a bit to go but can solo GR70 with this, (if i was playing i could probably do GR75 :P), there are some things he is missing, but all in all it's doing alright for him.
Well, I must say THANK YOU for this link. I already had decent gear for this build. Tried this yesterday, and I can go up to GR70 with this build without trouble (up to GR65 the clear time is 2.5-4 minutes). Running around and mobs die - so nice, so little effort. I changed the build a little, after seeing a youtube video, but the base is this build. no doubt. This is my gear for this: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Hous3r-2418/hero/97035664
Thank you for the write-up and the b.net link, much appreciated!
At the moment I don't have any items supporting Bone Armor or Decrepify, so I switched BA for Blood Rush for that extra mobility. Short of a couple of near-oneshot mechanics (those leaping mobs, as well as the "core" of an Arcane swirly sworly dropping right at my feet) I can comfortably do GR37+. I know I can go higher without fear. There is something magical about seeing 830M crits on a full-essence Singularity Skeletal Mage :D
This is me just now: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Belazor-2645/hero/98258676 - I know I have no gems, I need to do more bounties for the recipes and whatnot so I'm not putting garbo gems in there :P
And I need non-garbo cube items...
So much to do :(
i did 86 yesterday without Sim or LotD without any augments.
if you use CotC you have singularity dmg up all the time, i dislike long CD spells, just a personal preference.
I play like that: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/sal-2713/hero/96861483 Using bone armor allowed me to go with 3 offensive gems!
This is my farming gear and build. You're missing garg% damage on chest and shoulders, crit damage, sockets on jewelry and legendary gems. Just by your socketed topaz's, I can see you've only just begun.
Your gear will come, upgrade as best as you can, just keep farming, push greater rifts as and when until you can leech in t13. People are flying through them now, some games even for myself, all i do is loot.
Edit: I cleared 78 Grift with helltooth garg build. Imo stick with one build for farming, and collect gear for LoN, same as myself.
As of posting this right now, I have the UE MS build equipped https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Groonz-2800/hero/94545698
T13 rifts I can usually kill the lowest of trash in 1 hit, slighlty tougher mobs in a few more hits. Elites and what not take a longer.
That is in solo, if you were in a party the health increase of mobs would be noticeable and it would take longer to kill stuff which would feel slow.
Just to point out if you missed it but I am using a few items for survivability otherwise I would be equipping more DPS options but at the risk of dying from one shots.
I have an impale set as well, the tradeoff between the two is that UE MS is better at clearing mobs at a lower difficulty but if you increase the difficulty you are better off going with impale and hunting elites since it is primarily a single target burst build.
Impale also has the bonus of being able to clear higher grifts with relatively plain shadow gear. For UE MS to do that, you'd need much better gear.
If you want to do T13 rifts in groups you are better off going with impale for the faster single target bursting as the increase of health makes UE MS less appealing.
But if you want or don't mind farming at a lower difficulty such as 10-12, then you could go with UE MS where your 1 shooting ability will be higher due to the lower health.
edit: oh yea, I haven't augmented any of my gear, if I did do it, I'd probably have quite a boost in damage which would allow for increased difficulty.
Was a little tricky to find, but here's the monk and the wiz. Video is from almost 2 weeks ago, so they might have changed since.
I am doing torment 11 in 1:50. Running around with tal wyr and wildwood ancient 2.9k. Wrath of lightning, gogok, trapped. And in geom in kanai. Apart from that i do with same build speedruns gr 55-60 in less than 2 mins too, sometimes depends on rift tho. Been running almost with same gear for 450+ paragons, just upgraded to some ancients but that didnt help that much.
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Biszek-2640/hero/54274464
You do not need starfire to speedfarm.
Yes, singularity Skeleton Mages. Cleared GR90 a few minutes ago (Rank 330 EU) with 700 paragon, 6 Ancients and one lvl 50 Augmentation My Profile.
I could probably go higher, but i think more caldesan/ paragon will smoothen this (since i don't fish for rifts). I'm uploading the video atm, i can link it to you if you want.
hi guys, my set-up is like this https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/LunarCyrix-2916/hero/67664464
ive been able to pass GR80. but having difficulties progressing further.
i have one BK weapon with STR/CDR/AD to swap for one of my current if AD is what i'm missing.
any tips on what i should improve gearwise (or skillwise) are appreciated =D
edit: also, im having trouble gathering large mob groups with TS-demoralize, any tips on that?
I use this build to farm T13 all the time, its super fast. Sure you need your gems leveled but it will work without ancient gear too.
Trash dies quick and then you can explode the corpses. Once you have decent gear you fly thru the rift with barely any effort. I like Rathmas for Gr-pushing but not as a standard farm build, i want my farming to be comfortable =)
This is my pre-season test build: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/sal-2713/hero/96129618 With this setup you kill eveything at t13 by just looking at it.
This is my current build in the season: https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/sal-2713/hero/96861483 This already has a decent clear speed at t13, but there is a lot of room for improvement =)
You can't really compare yourself to the DH's on the leaderboards. They have ALL ancients with +75-100 augments on their gear, It makes a huge difference in both damage and toughness. And being at +1000-1500 paragon also helps alot in damage and toughness.
I would start with gambling for ancient pieces that you lack and keep on grinding gems for augments.
This is my profile, just to back up my words.
Good luck and happy farming!
The off-hand is bugged in the web-profile. my profile displays more or less the same range, and my offhand dmg is close to 600 in the game. So something is bugged.
You could try to search for a 10.0% chc on offhand, but 2% CHC won't dump your dmg as much now, just in my case. Try to maximize intelligence where you lack that, and try to have proper stats on proper slots (chest pants boots and shoulders defensive AF, everywhere else go for glass canon-ish mentality), where it can be. I think you should easily clear 80-81-s within 10-11 minutes. At this point, you have to start augmenting, it was my very same discovery... Good luck! :)
Think all you want.
https://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Archael-1701/hero/65369675
Rank 1 US - Non season tho
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Rxt-2444/hero/85788152
Rank 1 EU - Non season aswell.
Takes alot of gear and paragon and I think this is what OP is out for. Stop guess.
Hi there, newbie question, how can I check quality of an item? How good it is compared to another one?
What should I work on? Any advice would be appreciated
https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/vaskkr-2255/hero/91382400 (~~for some reason the items are not being updated, I currently play with Inna's~~ got the update)
Yea you will explode elites like it's nothing, I run it in season with no augments and a poorly optimised weapon and have no problem . Me and a friend both run this build for "primal farming" where we just do 3-4 runs then identify after and spend shards at the same time for maximum efficiency, quite often we finish the grift in under 2 mins. Just cram as much attack speed as you can for quicker manald procs. I think i can even get away with dropping the CDR on my gloves for more attack speed because in geom is always up (I've got a spare ancient pair) i specced my ns character to the build for reference, dont worry about the primal swami, just use a fazulas belt untill you get a swami with apoc, crit, a socket and 20 second cooldown https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/esk0bar-2821/hero/25684552
