Find even more with app sales. There are other sales monitoring apps available that other people use, app sales is just the one I watch.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Found this mentioned on the sub a while back. It's great for never missing a sale. Gives you a notification every day of any new sales that have started.
Make sure to check out app deals (especially some paid icon packs become free for limited period)
Looking for a app (or maybe even some webservice) that reminds me when specific apps are on sale.
Would be especially nice if it can automatically use my wishlist from the Play store, and when one of those items is reduced in price, send a notification.
I have only found AppSales but it doesnt access my wishlist, and it doesnt really work very reliable it seems.
I can't think of any communities, but if it helps find better games even a little bit, I use an app called AppSales that lists discounted/free apps and games on the Play Store when they go on sale: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales&hl=en_US&gl=US
This is just me personally, but I'm kinda getting into a mentality that the better, more unique mobile games out there will have price tags on them.
that subreddit is amazing. if you don't want to check it manually or not using an Rss notification, you can download App Sales which tracks sales and warns you for wishlist apps (you need to add them manually though)
this is really useful for seeing everything that's on sale or free. I come here mostly for the comments to see if any of these games/apps are worth my time.
I know this isn't as good as wishlist sales notifications implemented directly into the Play Store app, but there is an app called AppSales that you may find useful in the meantime. It tells you about various sales every day (which is pretty meh IMO) but I mainly use it because you can search for an app and add it to your wishlist in the AppSales app. Then you'll get a notification if that app ever goes on sale. It also displays a price history for any app in general, which lets you see if the app has gone on sale at all over the last year. It's pretty nifty.
I usually just google "android gaming" and look around at some websites for news/reviews. I also check out nimblethor and tinylittlegames on youtube...sometimes they find some awesome games that I missed, even tho most of the recommendations come from this subreddit. I also have installed AppSales and check it every day for games that went free or have discounts. And lastly,I check a website which I won't name (I can message you the site if you want) ... it offers games based on whatever genre you want and also has a section for games that are "Coming soon",which is nice to see what titles are gonna appear (it includes some unknown titles which seem awesome)
It would be nice to have a website or something that lets you browse games based on phone orientation, portrait or landscape...maybe somebody knows ?
It has been a few weeks ago my friend, sorry you missed it. I reccomend you install this app and put it in the wishlist. It will notify you next time it will go on sale.
I try and get some nice games while balancing a tight budget and AppSales has been helping me a lot. It's not a game, but it's free (cheap sub optional) and it'll help you see what is on sale, but also what goes on sale and how often.

Wait for their sales to come up, if you can wait (Also on r/googleplaydeals). I got poweramp and nova launcher for 10 bucks each :)
I use an app called appsales to monitor discounted apps. It has the ability to be shared to from google play so that it creates a wish list of apps you are keeping an eye on. Nice thing is it'll send you a notification if your wish listed app ever goes on sale.
I've been using AppSales for years, it's really great. You can just use share in the Google Play Store to AppSales and add the app to your Watchlist. If it has a price drop, you get a notification.

Interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on that. I normally use AppSales to keep up with discounted apps/games, but it's purely for premium ones.
And hey--if all else fails, I don't mind paying full price for a mobile game here and there.
This app shows sales and free apps on PLAY STORE
You click the app and direcly opens playstore so you dont need to seach it
I have got games like true skate, kindom rush fronliners notes a lot of icon packs Just seach 1 a week and u can get a good game / app

I highly recommend using AppSales app to keep track of sales. This is how I got my Grid Autosport on sales. Google Play Store wishlist is so useless.

I just checked and it's still on sale (atleast in my region). It generally goes for ₹130 but it's currently available for ₹75 which is what I bought it for.
Just a tip in case you are unaware, you can use App Sales to track your favourite apps on sale. Just share the URL from Playstore and open it in App Sales and add to watchlist.
True that. Even though there's a very good workaround which i've been using for years instead of the Play Store crappy whishlist, and it's called AppSales. It lets you add apps directly from the Play Store into its own whishlist, and even notify you when they get a price cut.
Paid icon packs are often on sale or temporary free. AppSales is good at alerting you when this happens, so it might help you to find something you like.
IMO it's totally worth the full price; as i said i liked it even better than NC and i'll add that it has very different gameplay mechanics too, so you aren't paying twice for the same game. But if you want it cheaper, you could always download AppSales and add the game to the watchlist, so you'll be notified whenever it gets discounted. That's what i do for all the games i buy, unless of course i want to play it right away at full price.
How? Precisely with AppSales. You can choose to get notified about discounts on any app or single/multiple categories of apps you prefer (e.g.: games only). You can also add apps to the watchlist and get notified whenever it gets discounted. You can also choose to get notified only by apps that became free, or discounted apps with no IAPs/ads. And much more. It's so customizable it isn't even funny.
Add it to AppSales watchlist and it'll notify you as soon as it gets discounted. It is a great game and surely worth it the price it asks.
Edit: i've just noticed it hasn't been discounted for a long time, but still it costs around $3.50 which is absolutely a steal of a deal for what the game has to offer
Yes, 1 of the 3 paid apps on google play apps didn't pass. Go download AppSales app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales&hl=en_US and add the all the versions you don't have to the watchlist. All of them go free from time to time. When they do, you will be alerted.
SD Maid Pro, 9GAG Pro, in-app purchases of some app you already have.
I recommend AppSales to discover great discounts on apps.
You can also add apps to a wacthlist so it will notificate you when the prices go down.
As this thread is about sales, one app I have used for years is 'Appsales'.
Makes me aware of games and apps on sale as soon as they are out.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
I do this with "AppSales" by ts-apps. You have to add your favorites to the wish list in the app, it doesn't import them from the play store. But it will notify you of sales, and had a neat price history tool. I browse all the sales every few days.
AppSales will push a notification if their service detects a price change on a premium app in the Play Store that you've added to your a watch list in the app. It has a lot of filter options that can be set but doesn't support monitors for in-app purchases. I don't think there's actually a way to query in-app sale promotions through the Play Store.
You could try monitoring in-app purchase promotions by having u/Alert_Bot send you a message if the app ends up on r/GooglePlayDeals. Send it a private message like subscribe -title Boost For Reddit -subreddit GooglePlayDeals if you wanted alerts for the Boost for Reddit app appearing in post titles in the Play deals subreddit. The webpage for using Alert_Bot has more setup options.
True, but there is an app that also allows you to see the price history of Playstore applications. It's called AppSales. I use it to check Playstore deals, and appshopper for Appstore deals
You should install the AppSales app. It gives suggestions of games that are now on sale every day but the best feature is that you can add up to 50 games to your WishList and it will send you a notification when they go on sale. Best feature ever.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
They highlight good games. Let you add stuff so it notifies you when it goes on sale. They're also recently making an effort into not featuring some good apps that go on sale veey often by taking user feedback etc.
But yeah, it only pulls from the playstore so in app sales wont show up.
Piggybacking, AppSales is a good app to have for the sales watch list feature alone, enter apps you are waiting for to go on sale and it notifies you of price drops. Plus their ads don't seem intrusive.
Buy an app, refund within 2 hours if you don't like it. Most apps cost less than a single dish in an average restaurant.
Or at least buy them when they're on sale, some even are free to buy for a few days
There's a app called App Sales, other than that you can browse r/googleplaydeals and Android Police also post Deals Roundup once every few days.
Download app called: AppSales
This app will notify you when an app is on sales and you can add you watch list. Ex: Nova, it will notify you when nova is on sales so you can have the pro ver. ;)
I was looking for one a month ago, and the only options are AppSales & AppDeals. AppDeals was buggy as hell (didn't show app name) and it's no longer in the play store. So AppSales is your only bet.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
I use
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales&hl=en
It has a bunch of options to filter out the crap. (eg. >50k downloads, more than >=4 stars.) It also shows how many people have clicked the "buy" button from within the app.
It also has a price history graph, which is quite nice to see how often stuff goes on sale. I haven't checked out your site yet in depth but it looks really slick.
Yeah, there are some games I had been waiting to come to Android for a long time (X-Com, The Walking Dead) that I buy immediately regardless of price.
Then there are the games that I sort of want but don't want to spend full price on. Those just sit in my Wishlist until they go on sale or I have some spare cash to blow on them.
Also, I use Appsales to notify me of game/app sales:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Install this app to never miss a thing. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
I use multiple apps to track Play Store sales. They have their own strengths and weaknesses.
AppSales - Has a Highlight section which features the best sales, and a Now Free section that shows apps that gone free for a limited time. CON: 3 months of price history only, pay for 360 days; relatively weak filtering
Best App Sale - Extensive filtering allowing you to find what you really like, plus the ability to receive sale notifications in many other platforms, including Steam, GOG, Origin, Humble Stores etc. The most extensive app you can find. CON: very slow to load a page, I mean VERY slow
Paid Apps Gone Free (PAGF) - As its name it only features paid apps that have gone free for a limited time. Its structure allows you to grab (temporarily) free apps on a daily basis. CON: Only free apps, no discounted apps
You can use Appsales which is also where I find my deals btw. There's a watchlist which notifies you when an app is on sale.
Look for the 'Now free' section to know about all the apps available in sale.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
I used to use that, now i use Appsales, which also lists discounts.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
AppSales is much better imo
Why is this any different to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales ?
You can use AppSales if you want a wishlist with notifications.
On this app you can add them and be notified of a price change.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales&hl=en_GB
I use App Sales
Have no idea about IOS versions...
and via AppSales app.
App Sales https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
You can put it in your wish list and get notified when it goes on sale.
Add it to the Watchlist in the AppSales app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Appsales is the best out there.
I heartily recommend that you all install AppSales, helps me to spend my Google Rewards credits more efficiently
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
I have AppSales installed and it has a category for sale and free apps. Most of these deals appear on that app.
Use this app to find promotions
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Appsales is what I use
Here's one that I have used. It doesn't have a yellow icon, so probably not the one you used previously.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
I prefer this one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
If we are talking about the original application AppSales, it did not have any problems with it
Mostly through /r/googleplaydeals/.
There's also an app to find such deals, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Here, it is also in the linked Google+ post.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
You can use Appeales. There are many other apps like that.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
I don't know if you will find all the needed option in this app but some of them are here... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Yes, I got it for ₹10, I had put it on watchlist in Appsales. Bought it as soon as the price went down.
Yes. App Brain has some excellent history information on Android apps.
https://www.appbrain.com/app/dragon-quest-viii/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq8
That shows DQVIII for example.
Search for Dragon Quest: https://www.appbrain.com/search?q=dragon+quest&src=header
Note: as of my search, they didn't have the newest prices on them. https://www.app-sales.net/ is faster in getting those (and is how I found out about this sale), but they have less free historical information.
Does it have to be reddit? As there are apps for it. I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales&hl=en_GB
This may help you in the meanwhile - AppSales free and on sale apps
The one I'm using is called AppSales. It's pretty good.
Yes, this one.
This kind of applies:
AppSales lets you know what paid apps are now free (usually temporarily).
I use AppSales for exactly that reason. It has a watchlist that notifies you when something goes on sale.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
notifies you, I use it.
You're welcome. Thank https://www.app-sales.net/ actually! Their app's notifications are invaluable.
It doesn't show new apps, but it shows those that are on discounts or become free for some time https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Something like AppSales?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales << this would help you in a long run
Well, you can use this app to find which apps are on sale.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
The AppSales app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Not OP but personally I use this app, this morning when I woke up I had a notification about the sale.
I used AppSales. It does a pretty good job of monitoring price drops.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales&hl=en
Get Appsales here!
This one
I use AppSales
App Sales: Bookmark paid apps, and get alerted if/when they go on sale.
Hermit: Create "lite apps" of websites you often visit, instead of native apps that can eat up precious storage space. It's also good for sites you might have more than one account with.
Libby: Use with your local library card to access their ebook collection. You can borrow titles, create themed collections, and join wait lists for popular titles that are all checked out.
Lookup: A dictionary that lives in your notification bar. It's got three default sources (WordNet, Google, & Urban Dictionary) to choose from, but you can add others. It also creates a history of all searched words that you can revisit whenever.
Sesame Search & Shortcuts: Universal search & quick launch. I have it invisible next to the volume rocker on my phone, & can access pinned apps, contact options, & more. It's SO useful, & even offers launcher integrations if you use Nova or Hyperion.
I use this app's wish list to watch for sales on the apps I want to buy.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
App Sales the best app for free and discounted apps. You can also monitor prices (Track prices) 😉
AppSales lists apps on sale, and there's also an option to only show apps that are 100% off

There's also an app that let's you see all the currently free apps on Google Play
Download AppSales. Theres a free section.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
AppSales, from the same developer as AppsFree, lists apps on sale as well and has watchlist feature too.
App Sales is a must have app :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
There are apps which do just that
AppSales tracks apps on sale or limited free
AppsFree focuses on paid apps going free
Paid Apps Gone Free - PAGF another similar app doing the same thing
Best App Sale also tracks sales from many other platforms but is very slow
AppSales lets you filter ads and IAPs
AppSales from same developer is better cos it lists discounted apps as well. It also has 'watchlist' feature and much more.
You can subscribe to /r/googleplaydeals or use AppSales app to check app sales.
AppSales can do all of that.
I use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Has lots of sections listing both price cuts or free promotions.
I hope this helps, sometimes there apps that go for free:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales&hl=pt_BR
This app does it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
This one I assume?
Check this one. Some of these packs are there as well. It has sales and limited time free apps
App Sales works pretty well too.
Esta? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tsapps.appsales
Hint: na app store clicas no botão de share, e escolhes copy to clipboard.
Try AppSales or FreeAppsNow.
I found a nice live paper app with these apps.
Appsales For free apps and active discounts on the play store
Brave Ad-free browser similar to chrome
Cornerfly Round your screen corners
Energy Bar Display an always on top battery life bar that changes colour depending on energy remaining
Any question reply to this comment :)
Edit: Format and links
I found this deal using the AppSales app, I added a list of the apps/games I was interested to the wishlist, and it notifies me when the price drops.
I also tried the AppDeals app with an identical wishlist to try both apps, but only AppSales actually worked and notified me of a price change, so I uninstalled AppDeals
