I use AirAudio on my phone and it works fairly well using uPnP and AirPlay. Although AirPlay is the only one that sends all the track info and album artwork to Kodi in my experience. Although I have to say, AirPlay in Kodi for Windows isn't always the most stable.
Yeah, not even Chromecast does audio system wide. I think the Nexus devices can mirror the entire phone screen with audio to a Chromecast but that's gonna be a battery and resource hog as it also sends the video.
I would have suggested to look into aptX but I can't see that the OPO supports it.
With some more searching I found an app called AirAudio which supposedly can stream ALL audio if your device is rooted.
Rooting is like Jailbreaking if you haven't heard of it before. Since it varies form device to device it can be as simple as running an app or as complex as re-flashing the firmware on the device. I don't own a OPO so I cannot tell you much about it but you will find many guides online on how to do it. I found this guide, it's a bit outdated I believe but may still be valid.
This is what I use. Everytime I get home, the phone will connect to WiFi, AirAudio will then connect to my speaker group (3 Chromecast enabled speakers), open Spotify and start playing music.
The streaming part is going to be tricky, because I've been trying to simply find an app that would let me and a friend listen to music simultaneously, and I only found AirAudio.
As for the rest of it, I literally just put a link on /r/taskernet for a profile that flashes a track name - https://redd.it/bj9xbj
> to bad others wont be able to see it live unless someone can tap into the stream
Maybe, someone can turn on a radio app on a smartphone/tablet and stream the audio.
Well Good news for spotify users like me. If you have a rooted android device, you can install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.airaudio&hl=en .
It actually stream every sound of your device on DLNA
I used it in the past 2 years to stream my Spotify from my Android phone to my Airport Express. It even does multiroom between Airplay and DLNA devices. Works like a charm.
Not an xposed module, but AirAudio can do this. Also works with a few other platforms. Free to try, $ to buy. Works decently well, I used to use it for GPM with Kodi before I found a working add-on.
If you have a rooted phone, you can send the audio from your phone to your computer. This app can do that, with XBMC on the computer to act as a receiver.
You might be able to use Bluetooth to do some magic in the same way with your computer, if your computer has Bluetooth that is (though you can add it for a couple dollars with a USB thing). I've never tried that, but since there are Bluetooth speakers in guessing it's possible.
The only way I have found to do this is with root on the phone and AirAudio installed on the phone and set to System Audio. There are other options on the play store but I've found that this one sucks the least.
I use Raspberry Pis running Shairport-Sync, and on my phone use AirAudio. I have a pi in every room and it works fantastic (w/ a cheap USB audio device). It is basically emulating an Apple AirPlay system. AirAudio will also stream to DLNA, Sonos, etc., so might not even need the Pi.
I have a solution but it requires root. I use Airaudio to stream from my Android phone using airplay
This is hard to do with a Bluetooth speaker. The easiest way to do this are with wifi speakers that have this functionality built in but I haven't found one that is cheap. For example the cheapest sonos speaker that has this functionality is $200. You can also find cheaper wifi speakers that don't have this functionality and download the below app on a rooted Android that is claiming to do what you want.
If you have a rooted phone, you can use something like AirAudio to stream any sound to Sonos (unlimited streaming is a premium feature).
If you don't have root, you can use doubleTwist Player to stream to Sonos (this, too, is a premium feature). But last time I checked (it has been a while because I have a rooted phone), rudimentary Podcast support was there, but lacking sooo many features, not even playlists. I just now checked and there seems to be an "Up next", but I couldn't get it to work properly.
I want to use AirAudio so that I can play music through wifi. This one requires root to capture all the sound on the device. I'm afraid to root on my Galaxy. I have to pick either playing PoGo, or always going through BT. Very annoying.
Figured out a remedy, from a post on here, the app AirAudio https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.airaudio
Allows a constant connection to your cast devices so you can just say ok Google play music and it will be connected to the cast device. It's not really cheap but for the problem it solves it's awesome.
If you have a rooted android device, and a Chromecast on your TV, this app can connect the two even if the app doesn't natively support casting. It claims to be able to work with Roku among other things too, but I can only vouch for Chromecast since that's what I have
Maybe a 4 pole aux cable from the record player to android phone running AirAudio using the mic input from the aux cable. AirAudio will stream to Chromecast. Streaming from the mic doesn't require root iirc.

Edit: not sure if it will be mono
Air Audio has worked well for me streaming audio to rpi running Kodi. I am sure it would work well with Shairport on raspbian etc as well. From some quick googling: http://drewlustro.com/hi-fi-audio-via-airplay-on-raspberry-pi/
I am not aware of anyway to get android use a pulseaudio sink though.
I just got the idea of streaming music via AirAudio (Official Website|Google Play) to some headphones. Is that even possible? If so which headphones do I have to use? I hope this is even the right place to submit this. Thanks in advance for any responses.
I use it to gain access to system audio (ie: all audio) so that I can send it to my AirPlay stereos with [PlayStore] AirAudio.
Also, [PlayStore] LiveBoot is really damn cool.
I'm probably not going to bother with it once I get my 6P. My wife rarely ever uses the AirPlay stereos anymore, so I'll probably replace them with a Chromecast solution that we can both use.
I use Air Audio to send my Android music to my Pi running Kodi. Works well and is really simple.
I like this because most of my friends have iOS and is still easy for them.
So far this one seems to be best

It cost $5.50 and you need root (all of them need root).
Most of free trials so search around.
This is a good option as well. Several apps like this.
I use AirAudio since I have an android but my house is setup with several Apple Airports which are plugged into the wired speakers. The app works great to AirPlay or Roku or any DLNA receiver. It just broadcasts the system audio, whatever you're playing on your phone, including Google Music.
Yes. You can use AirAudio but it requires root.
AirAudio if you have an android device. Let's you cast the audio from any app to the Xbox.
If you have a rooted android phone, you can use an app like AirAudio to cast sound from any app to Sonos.
If you're an iOS user you can use AirPlay to cast from iOS to Raspberry Pi with shairport-sync.
If you're Android it's not as easy. You could root and use AirAudio to allow your phone to stream anything on multiple protocols. Then either run gmrender-resurrect or shairport-sync on the Raspberry Pi.
You could also go the Bluetooth route.
If your rooted you could try using it with AirAudio
If your Android device is rooted then airaudio works well albeit with a slight lag.
There is an app that will broadcast audio (streaming) to multiple chromecasts. It requires root. Haven't seen one for video.
AirAudio : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.airaudio
If you have a rooted phone, you can use an app like AirAudio to redirect any sound from any app to SONOS.
airaudio, if rooted. Not true casting still connected to your device. Has now playing screen. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.airaudio&hl=en
Streaming videos on Windows and OSX
Mirroring ChromeOS, I haven't personally tested

Android Apps
Audio only when rooted, sound capture multizone apps (like Airfoil but for Android)
AirAudio - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.airaudio&hl=en

Video on Android ** Android video apps have an issue with the AppleTV4s way of handling Airplay video, many work with Appletv3 and Airplay emulator apps on AndroidTV and the Firetv. Here is a work around. Use Kodi or MrMC and enable the upnp/DLNA client. Then you can use Server Cast and Web Video Cast via DLNA. Basically the Appletv becomes a DLNA renderer, which should also work with Allcast and Localcast as well.

All cast never worked for me so I use air audio. It's great. Does more than just airplay.
Not currently possible with iOS.
Ironically this is possible via Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.airaudio&hl=en
I bought AirAudio and use it to cast to Kodi over DLNA or AirPlay, using free Spotify.

I recommend air audio for this. Won't do video but all system sounds get pushed to kodi! Requires root.
I used this for awhile with good results: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.airaudio&hl=en
TYL, It can be done
edit: ffs the downvotes - if you're ignorant read up - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.airaudio
