I use the Sober Time app. You can check in and see how many days you have, and you can get it to send you a notification each day or when there is a significant number (like 90 days). Mine just has the number of days, that's all. There is a discussion group but I never use it.

The app Sober Time does exactly that. It's intended for those in recovery, but you get to title the counter, and pick a specific start date and time.

So my Mom has always struggled with alcohol. She finally cleaned up and became sober about 3 years ago!
Her thing was she downloaded a timer to let her know to the very second how long she was sober. She liked seeing the number go up. But then after like 2 months using the app she noticed a community forum apart of it.
This community wounded up being absolutely essential for her sobriety, it resounded with her and found a lot of friends in the process.

This is the app to the google store but the app is Sober Time if you have an iPhone.
She didnt really have friends after drinking for 20+ years and this made a huge difference in that factor. They hold weekly zoom meetings just checking on eachother and bullshitting. The community is made up of people all over the world. Her group of friends come from California, Northern Ireland, Norway, Chile just to name a few. And they all come together and support each other whenever needed. I highly recommend downloading this app and checking out the community!
Honesty about consumption is a leading hurdle to stopping. "It's not that bad." Numbers don't lie.
You could use a notepad, notebook, or calendar as well.
I used an app called Sober Time as a way to track my time away from alcohol.
But it was that honesty at the start of my journey that I had to wrestle with before stopping.

I really like this app there is a free & premium version but it's a clean looking app with a bit of customization. Plus there is a community you can access to talk with other recovering addicts.
With no affiliation, this is my recommendation to keep track of your cessation of anything; from Alcohol probation to narcotic inhalation
Ok I've found this and it looks promising

It's free with ads
You can get home screen widget for about $1 iap, so not too bad.
I quit drinking 815 days ago it's the best thing I've done. I use the 'Sober time' app to track my progress, plus it has support groups in it as well. One quick note, I quit once before for three months then went on vacation to see friends and family. I convinced myself that I now had control and it wouldn't be a problem again, I could stop anytime I wanted. I was wrong of course. I started drinking every day for months until I was finally able to squeeze out the will power to stop again. The hardest part is the beginning, form a new routine and stick to it! If you need any help or have any questions please reach out! Sober Time - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sociosoft.sobertime
Funny how a dumb little counter is such a huge motivator. I would also recommend a sobriety tracker app like Sober Time. It has tons of customizable features, and motivational quotes. It's been a huge help getting my to 11 days.
Congrats on your savings. I bet those $35 would turn into $1000 within a months time.
You can also check out this app called Sober Time.
Sober Time works fine for me, a simple day counter with 30, 90, 180, 270 and 365 day milestones.
I have a few that I use or have used in the past:
- Sober time. Counts your streak and even has a page for milestones and you get "badges" like in AA.
- Loop habit tracker. Gives many stats, including longest streak.
- Habitbull. I like the design of this one, also keeps track of streaks, but I don't know what the current state is. I read it was abandoned by the devs and premium users were complaining but then I read that someone else bought the app and resumed development.
I think it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sociosoft.sobertime&hl=en_US&gl=US Called Sober Time
Have you considered a sobriety calculator? I don't know which is best but here's some examples;
