>u/JPunnackudy - Low speaker Volume on Redmi Note 9 Pro
That's when using wich app(s)?
What happens with headphones?
Try playing with the built-in AudioFX including turning it on/off.
Maybe you coud try an app like this one for example: Volume Booster GOODEV.
Start with small increments otherwise you may get distortions.
>u/Jumpy-Twist6191 - I have the 18.1 and Except of alerts Everything is very low Do you know how to fix it?
What does it say in > Settings > About phone > Android version > LineageOS version?

I've been using Volume Booster for years. It works great, and doesn't require root. I've never had a phone that was rootable.
I also have hearing issues and need the volume boosted on several of my android and LineageOS devices. I have found that Goodev Volume Booster fills my needs.
I use "Volume Booster" by Goodev:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en_GB
It boosts all system volume and will make music sound louder. Be careful though, as boosting too high may damage your hearing or your phone speakers/headphones. Personally I set it to no more than 10% boost which is more than enough to make even the most quiet tracks audible. Also don't forget to set battery optimisation to "don't allow" and disable automatic management of launching/backgrounding for the booster so that it can start as soon as the device boots up and won't be killed off in the background.
I have the same problem on my p30 for Spotify. I use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
For now it solves the problem but I really wish an internal update to fix this
NO promises https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en_US Works for me to some degree. do NOT BOOST PAST 10. use at your own risk.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en_US
try it and DONT go past 10 on gain.
no promises.
Also helps other sounds.
using it for 3 years.
my note 9 had a speakerphone boost but one ui took it away.
Iv got the same problem, I think huawei's headphones are just very quiet.
I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
It's a volume boosting app, just be careful if you do use it and don't damage your ears or your device speakers :)
this it may make the sound lil garble tho , make sure u don't over boost , and other solution.... i don't own mi but i think you can boost your phone sound by going to accessibility functions
Don't know about spaker booster apk but the [Volume Booster GOODE(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster) app is very powerful.
Using root shell in Tasker:-
Start Service -
am start-foreground-service com.goodev.volume.booster/.SpeakerBoostService
Stop Service -
am force-stop com.goodev.volume.booster
I've been using Volume Booster GOODEV since my first phone. It's the only app that worked fine for me. I just make sure that I never go beyond 30% because it'll most likely sound bad already.
Never tried this but you can after reboot and check sound settings:
1) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en&gl=US app like this to boost all the sound
2) edit phone config (root required) to set another call volume
3) check phone in safe mode (it can be broken by third-party app)
4) try mono sound in settings
3) factory reset
4) update phone to latest android
You could try this and boost the lowest setting to about where it's comfortable possibly. Be careful this will boost the volume very loud.

So, I use bluetooth headphones sometimes, but the max volume is sometimes a little too quiet. I use this app to give it a slight boost: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en&gl=US
Using the bass boost app in conjunction with a volume booster.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=audio.sound.effect.bass.virtrualizer.equalizer
I use Volume Booster. It works for me but volume remains at a constant loud volume from 120% and up in this app. There's a few settings to mess around with.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
Yes and I added volume booster https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en_US to make it louder too! It has GAIN control not just raises volume!
It might be that the phone is not configured to raise volume as high. Maybe you should it as is to avoid tinnitus. If you want to raise it you might be able to with something like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster

I`ve been using this app and it saved me.
I downloaded some movies and was trying to use MXPLAYER to watch them on my fire 8 hd, but it was too low. I think it was some kind of codec error. After i installed this app, i setup it up to 30% boost and it was perfect.
Check this app out. It's a volume booster for your entire device and doesn't need root (and starts on boot, so you can set it and forget it). I'm using it on my x96 Android box as well and my galaxy s8.

Temprorary solution

If all else fails I use this app to boost the volume when I need it
Try Volume Booster GOODEV in the Play Store, no root needed and it's great! I use it every day
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
I work in a mill so I know what you mean. I've used this app on my HTC 10, S7 and Note 8 and it's been great
This worked for me before on another phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster Yet to try it on my 5T.
this what I use for low podcast. Give it a try
Volume Booster GOODEV should do the trick.
You can use this app. Doesn't require root: Volume Booster
You can apply more gain to get louder volume
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
maybe something like this helps: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
Volume Booster by GOODEV is pretty good.

Use this Volume Booster
>u/krusetti - AudioFX not working on my S5 (klte) ...I use the standard music player (Eleven) and AudioFX has an effect when I play m4a files but not when I play mp3 files. ...S5 G900F, LineageOS 16 (klte)...
I can confirm this. In AudioFX I created a Custom profile with boosting to the max the 3 lower frequency sliders & lowered to the minimum the higher 2 to make it obvious when toggling on/off AudioFX.
AudioFX is not working when playing .mp3 files in the stock Music app on both Speaker & wired headsets but works when using Bluetooth headsets on my Galaxy S5 G900M LineageOS 16.0 klte build 2019-12-24 + Open GApps Pico + LineageOS AddonSU, no custom kernel or system mods of any kind, without any sound mods or third-party equalizers.
But when playing .m4a files AudioFX works will all 3: Speaker, wired headsets & Bluetooth headsets.
Same results with the Vanilla Music player v1.0.84 on F-Droid or Play Store.
I did not try other file formats yet.
>...I do not want to root it ...All I am after is a little bit of loudness when I listen to music with my headset...
This simple app works without root on my S5 to boost Speaker & wired headset Volume Booster GOODEV.
Be careful & start with a low % Boost. In Privacy Guard for Start at power up I selected Ignored.
I don't see any ads because I use AdAway which requieres root but on an other not rooted device to achieve the same result I use the free AdfreeZip - TWRP flashable hosts file, reboot to Recovery & flash the zip you created.

A volume booster may help. Not sure if it's just the speakers though.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
Not a solution but a small band aid so you don’t have to max out receiver. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en_US
I don't know if this app works (haven't tried it myself) but maybe it'll solve the problem: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
