It's not exactly an icon pack.
The android 12 beta has an option where you can choose if you want supported icons (only Google apps so far I think) to turn into the accent color of your wallpaper. It goes hand in hand with the rest of the theming of Material U in Android 12.
Edit: This icon pack seems like you could like it. It's similar but a little more colorful and creative
I'd say for your needs, the 2 and not the 2XL is good. I have the 2 and I actually downgraded by half an inch from my last phone (Gs7 Edge) and I got used to it after a little while.
For cases... you never need one till you need one.. and you'll regret it the day it lands screen down on concrete. Personally, I love Spigen brand and they have a range of styles and thicknesses on Amazon. Most recently I got the one that has a kickstand.. and I was worried it'd be too thick... but its not even noticeable after a while and the kickstand is ridiculously useful. I watch a lot of videos especially when I'm doing boring chores around the house. Being able to prop it up at 2 different angles is really useful.
Spigen Tough Armor Google Pixel 2 Case with Kickstand https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074716J2T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_.5.xAbG21Q5EM That's the one I use
Spigen Thin Fit Google Pixel 2 Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07477L9JD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_hdayAbZ7A9DRH This one is a thinner more minimalist case. I've used the same style in my Samsung before.
As for the color.. honestly.. it's completely unimportant. Take the one that you find in stock in the size memory you want. If you do get a case (which you should), you'll never see that cute blue phone back :P you'll do fine with black or whatever.
Good luck.
I love my Pixel 2 :) Camera is amazing
Have you got any evidence or just spreading conspiracies? NordVPN is based in Panama and out of 14 eyes jurisdiction and as far as I know, they weren't in some of the scandals like some other providers.
Yes it's unlocked.
Dude, look up the carriers in your country and get the bands/frequencies used.
No, you'll need a USB type C adapter to use with the provided cable.
While this is useful information, why do I need to sit through a lengthy video to get this info? A single sentence would do: "Install the «Personal Safety» app on your phone, if it is available for your device, then configure the car detection feature".
It's Es File Explorer. You can keep the app and disable the "charging booster" thingy in the settings. Great app but it has too many ads now. I'd say just uninstall it and replace it with Astro File Explorer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.metago.astro It's just as good
No special wisdom but here you go.
Get the Shortcutter app. The open it and follow the steps in these picsthese pics (should be in order)
When you go into edit your quick settings panels, scroll all the way to the bottom to the land of unused panels. Look for the one from Shortcutter (might say wifi or <untitled> (not sure what that's about, but it works), drag it to the top (or wherever you want it) and drag that Internet Panel down into oblivion.
Hope that's clear!
This app lets you control ring and notification volumes separately. You'll either need to pay for it or watch some ads to get credits for a few of the functions.
I used it for a long time and it works. Now, since I'm using Calyx without any of the Google connections, I have to view a few ads here and there to keep it working the way I want.

I have a pair and would advise against them. They have too many technical issues and are just not that impressive. Additionally, because they do not go in your ear they block very little outside noise.
I would advise using the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 I or II instead. Disclaimer: These are traditional over the head headphones. These are the headphones I switched too and have to say the sound quality is improved and the noise cancellation is incredible. They also work well for phone calls. I switched to these and the Pixel Buds have sat in my bag. The main difference between the I and II is that the II added a Google/Alexa assistant button.

If she wants smaller headphones/earbuds then consider something like the Apple Airpods. My fiance (who has an iPhone) loves them.

On a related note, I would advise purchasing her a dongle keychain as seen here on Amazon. It helps a lot making sure you do not lose the dongle. I am not recommending this specific one but providing it as an example. https://smile.amazon.com/Dongle-Dangler-Keychain-Accessory-Compatible/dp/B01MSYT8HH/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1543535129&sr=8-3&keywords=google+pixel+dongle+keychain
If you search now playing list in the play store you'll get a nice list of apps that'll give you a history. I'm using this one specifically... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imihov.nowplaying_list
It's works well for me when I want to remember what was playing... It was the first one I read about and I've just stuck with it.
I don't know of any way to do it without an app. Although I guess it might be possible :-/
Same here, mostly notable in darker setting with intensity set low. Seems most folks have same issue. See some using Lux app to get around it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vitocassisi.luxlite
If you like that, Hitman GO and Deus Ex GO are very similar. I thought Lara Croft GO had by far the best puzzles, though.
Sky Force Reloaded, a vertical shooter and good time-waster: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.idreams.SkyForceReloaded2016
My other favorite is Smash Hit: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mediocre.smashhit
It's the version Google released then immediately took back. It's being rereleased. May have to swipe away in recents a few times for it to appear in the settings. I hoped this version would fix the problem but it didn't.
I am using the AmFilm with a Spigen Neo Hybrid case. I feel it is an excellent combination! As for the wet application, I regularly run my phone under the tap, to give it a cleaning. The Pixel 2 (XL) is IP67 waterproof.. As for removal of the film, no adhesive is used, it's just a really strong static cling. It removes cleanly and can even be used again if you're careful with it.
Search it up on the App Store “Amazon shopper panel” Apple: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/amazon-shopper-panel/id1494755014 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amazon.shopperpanel.android.mobile.app&hl=en_US&gl=US
I was bound and determined, but I couldn't find the apk on my phone (i'm not rooted, maybe that's the issue).
I assume this site might work to get it, I think they are affiliated with Android Police, so certainly legit: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/gesture-search/gesture-search-2-1-5-2-release/gesture-search-2-1-5-2-android-apk-download/
Here is a link to a review, and you can see in the screen shot it will do what you want.
Hope this helps.
It's software car manufacturers are putting into some cars' infotainment headunit. It's running on Android and tightly integrates with your Android phone and google account. I haven't actually seen it in the wild, but I'm hoping that my car (Subaru Outback) will get it as an available update as they've stated they're planning on having AA in new models soon.
Just got a 5a and it's nice to have the headphone jack back. Mines fine. Is your 4a new for you? Has this always been a problem?
See if this app (from Google) might help: Sound Amplifier https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.accessibility.soundamplifier
Curious to know if it helps.
It's excellent... I thought the kickstand would loosen and therefore flop around, but it hasn't. Very robust and solid case at a great price. It includes a screen protector but I never use them.

Any idea when will the pixel 5 come in India it has not been released here yet? On amazon.in amazon indian website the phone is showing pixel 5 5g at Rs 79000 that is about US$ 1053. There is a huge price difference in USA its available at 650 US$ and as you can see that there is a huge difference between the prices as the phone pixel 5 has still not been released here in India. I wonder why amazon india have kept the price so high.

I was looking around on Amazon. Pixel 5 camera protectors are available.

Don't feel too bad about damaging your phone. I always carry mine in my shirt pocket and stuff happens. It is the downside of a non desk job
Dropped a moto g3 in 15 gal of waste oil (servicing a kenworth)
Pixel 2 in a hay barn (found it 7 months later)
fresh screen protector every month from welder burns
Currently busted camera in pixel 3
All the screen protectors have pretty bad reviews on Amazon. The challenge is the curved screen. A lot of the glass screen protectors only adhere at the edges. I've been fairly happy with the IQ shield. If you do get this one, then read the directions/watch the video carefully.
Google Pixel 2 XL Screen Protector [Not Glass][2-Pack], IQ Shield LiQuidSkin Full Coverage Screen Protector for Google Pixel 2 XL [Case-friendly][HD C https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073RV6PQD?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
The Telescope tracking mount had a normal tripod screw, like you would use to mount any camera, and I carry with me a a phone holder that has a tripod mount, you can easily get of these from selfie stick, or buy it by itself online, (selfie sticks are also really useful for things other than selfies so I carry one of those as well)
Now those phone holders do kinda suck with pixel 4, because you have to turn off the squeeze for assistant thing.
Try this app and see if it shows in the notification history.

The free version is still pretty good. It has almost everything, which can make it complicated, but once you set it up for what you want its easy.
Make sure you're on the latest public built of the Google app from the Google Play Store. The app was just updated yesterday afternoon.
To check what firmware your Pixel Buds are on, while your Pixel Buds are connected:
Press and hold your Home button > click "Headphone settings" > under "Firmware version"
I use Screen Recorder https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kimcy929.screenrecorder. Its a free app with no ads and good customization. Haven't used it much but I've been happy from what I've seen.
This is a kludge, but what you could do is set an alarm for Friday at 8:55 am and then choose "skip next alarm" twice (skipping 4/13 and 4/20).
I don't think the built-in alarm clock has "skip next alarm". I use Alarm Clock Plus.
I haven't tried it yet but someone else recommended https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.payneservices.LifeReminders&hl=en
I use the "Turn Off Screen" widget from redmanit. It can be configured to not lock the screen and use the fingerprint sensor to "log in" again. When it's configured like that the screen turns black when tapped (can log in by dubble tap), and after a few seconds goes to my lock screen (clock and notifications). I never have to touch the on/off button again if I don't want to. There are several (search for Lock app + use fingerprint sensor), I just found and liked this one.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redmanit.lockscreen
I am fairly sure it only does ads on the streaming section. Might try going to downloaded only and seeing if you are getting this.
That being said google music is a great streaming service but a shit player for your own music. Maybe try this or something else of your choosing.
Honestly with android there is always a better option than just assuming the default. It might be that you come back to the default but I would recommend always trying 2-3 apps of the same thing to find what you want.
Adaptive brightness on this phone is very very sensitive. The way I "fixed" this issue is by downloading an app called Tiles and using their adaptive brightness feature. You're going to need to access a computer to run an ADB command in terminal to grant permission to the application.
I'm using Equalizer on my OG Pixel XL. I've actually used it on my last 4 phones and it still seems to work. I really like it because i can use it in conjunction with Tasker and Trigger and dynamically select EQ presets based upon various triggers.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.equalizer
Below is the app. Fortunately, because I bought it through Verizon and it was within their 14 day return period, I was able to go to the store and have them give me a brand new one.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spencerstudios.screentest
For the notification thing, you can set notification preferences for each app. Slide a notification slightly left or right and press the settings icon. Go to more options. From there there is an option to hide sensitive info on the lock screen. Have to do this for each app separately I think though.
As for the lock screen thing, you want the screen to turn on and show the actual lock screen rather than the white on black? I know you can do this in Tasker, but I feel like there is a setting or app for this. I'll check.
Edit: try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.nullgrad.glimpse for the wake on notification thing.
There is another version of Lightflow. I think it's called 'Lightflow legacy' in the store. I was prompted to download it when I went to install one version because it would have meant the notification was always there otherwise.
Edit: link

Not an answer to your question but whenever something isn't released in Sweden i get it from amazon.de no extra shipping fees for me at least. https://www.amazon.de/Google-Pixel-Watch-Recording-Stainless/dp/B0BDZDWBMC/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=27OJ7UMOJZYSM&keywords=pixel+watch&qid=1670955065&sprefix=pixel+watch%2Caps%2C107&sr=8-3
Got the Spigen tempered glass screen protector, and it's great. This is my 3rd pack, the other two being different brands, and the Spigen is by far the best. Spigen Tempered Glass Screen... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3CKH642?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I'm not sure how this is quality wise, but it's cheap and will work temporarily until you find something better. https://www.amazon.com/Dahkoiz-Google-Pixel-Case-Black/dp/B0BCQ2PBX5/ref=sr_1_2?crid=VTQVH3QOEMNS&keywords=Dahkoiz%2Bfor%2BGoogle%2BPixel%2B7&qid=1669429034&sprefix=dahkoiz%2Bfor%2Bgoogle%2Bpixel%2B7%2Caps%2C63&sr=8-2&th=1
I don't think you are going to find much if anything for cases, but they do make rubber USB port plugs for cheap and I use those for pocket lint protection.
What about a normal case and then when you are in that environment use one of those watertight bags? Lots of choices, and some are pretty cheap and worth having anyways. I keep one in the car. Example: https://www.amazon.com/Case-Mate-Pelican-Waterproof-Universal-Compatibility/dp/B08GHKMR82/ref=asc_df_B08GHKMR82/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=508020488075&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17739074682381297215&hvpone=&hvptwo=...
Don't know of a way to do it on the lock screen but I think you can add it to the status bar using System UI Tuner.
I use a Spigen case on my P7. Very protective and it allows my P7 to lay flat when I put it down.

I was able to back out and it created the shortcut but it wouldn't do anything. But I found an app that works perfectly. "Shortcut Creator" by AlexTernHome.

It will stop audio and sometimes make a large pop when plugging or unplugging the different ports, but other than that, never had a single issue with it. I dunno about the pixel but with my note, I could change what sound did and didn't coke from it. Ie, Spotify came through the 3.5mm and all my apps/calls didnt
I miss that on my old 5T also. Check out an app called "button mapper". I have my volume down button set for a long press to trigger the flashlight. It works with the screen on or off!

I have 3 wireless chargers it charges for a while on 2 of them then stops but charges on the 3rd one just fine. I do notice on the 2 that it stops charging on the phone gets warm. Stays nice and cool on the one it fully chargers on. They are all pretty old so I just ordered this one. I like it because I'll be able charge my Pixel Buds on it too.

I've read through a bunch of reviews on amazon; it seems its very common that people have issues registering FP profiles with the full thick tempered glass installed. There are thinner profile protectors, that seem to have more success. You loose the full protection of tempered glass, but at least you gain some protection of the screen. See below link, which has a video with the "glass" bending.. most likely not glass, but more like a plastic of sorts

Pending availability and reviews of the Whitestone DOME, which until now I've been
deterred from using by the installation process, and considering that my P7P is scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Oct. 13), I'm trying the the AACL hybrid.
I ordered the following Spigen case for my Pixel 7. No credit card case. I've used Spigen for all my phones for years and never have had a damaged phone when accidentally dropped.

If you wanna control your privacy, i can recommend you two apps.
The first one is a firewall (without root). You can block apps from using your internet, but even more important - you can track which app is using the internet when. So if i'm installing an app which looks suspicious, i'm blocking it's internet first and then look, if it tries to connect to some weird servers and ip's. It's using an fake vpn for that.
Secondly, i'm using Exodus. I installed it from F-Droid but i think there are similar apps on the playstore. This app lets you check, which trackers your installed apps are using.
I'd recommend checking out Accubattery or gsam battery monitor if you want more in-depth useage details..... They've honestly just made the whole settings battery info completely useless
for daily use they have cool premade custom ones and you can also create your own. The site has 30% off using code WKNDSALE at checkout
for work it has a nice little stand for watching stuff during lunch.
I really like this protector: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09LDF5C84
Watch the video first. It looks intimidating, but it turns out that it is easier to apply than any other protector that I have ever had. The UV-cured glue can make up for a lot of mistakes.
Be aware though that this is a curved protector. Not all cases are compatible with that.
Same. Had several Pixels. Even backing up using Google One/1, SMS normally won't transfer, and you can forget MMS :/
SMS Backup & Restore saved me when I moved from my P5 to P6a! I paid for the paid version, and it worked flawlessly and quickly. 10/10 recommend! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestorePro
[Also as a side note, Google, this should be unnecessary and is terrible! Even my new Google One backup file from my P6a says my MMS backup file size is 1MB (one megabyte!) only, even though I have years' worth of messages/media in my native Google Messages app. Get it together, Google!]
If your friend is trying to save messages for legal purposes, they may want to talk to a lawyer. Since it is trivial to edit PDFs, that might not be sufficient depending on the type of case and how central the texts are to the matter. The lawyer might recommend a forensic backup of the phone, for example, or may want to at least have the data in a backup form. I am not a lawyer, but I do know that the format of the information, specifically the ability to prove that it is unaltered, can be as important as the information itself.
If there is not a specific legal matter in question, and your friend just want to have some way to keep the text messages on hand (to potentially show to a lawyer), something like "SMS Backup, Print & Restore" may help. Creating a backup then printing/saving the texts out may be sufficient.

Irrespective of wireless charging, my thought on cases for Pixel 6 is that (since we have such a long duration of updates) we want our battery to last many years so we want to take care of it by not getting it too hot.
Putting a full case on the back of your phone is thermal insulation over one half of the heat transfer area. That can't help with keeping your phone cool.
A "bumper" style case will still protect your phone from drops without any of that thermal insulation. And for many wireless charging stands (like my tronsmart wc01) a bumper style case puts your phone closer to the charger because the top of the charger stand touches the phone directly (the bumper only pushes the phone out at the bottom).
I have found two bumper style cases for the P6:
I don't think it matters a ton, I would only use it for diagnosis and not long-term. You have obviously need to be able to use the integrated camera app!
I've used SMS Backup & Restore on my last 3 phone upgrades/replacements. Takes a loooooong time if you're like me and have a ton of messages and media, but it's the only way I've found to get everything 100% transferred.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore
Edges are not sharp at all and it feels/looks like a finished product rather than a ring of magnets. It is actually a magnet, not just steel like some of the others. I can stick my phone to the side of my fridge or tool box but with this case it is just a tad heavy to trust it on smooth surfaces. With a thin case I stuck my phone to things all the time and trusted it.
I use a magnetic mount in my rig (lifted 4runner) without issue and also have a popsocket mag mount for those rare times I feel that I need it.
The phone will not wireless charge on my OG Pixel stand but will charge the other two generic 3rd party stands I have.
me too thinking the same.
my g logo too fell off and the case has become ultra slippery. still don't think it is worth 40$.
even the threads of the fabrc are coming off.
i was looking for cases online and saw this really cool case but unfortunately it is only for pixel 4a 5g
I love this one. It's so slim it's like there is nothing on the phone, but it's also super tough and has corner protection.
Spigen has been my go-to since the Galaxy Note 4. I'm using the Rugged Armor on my 6 Pro, which I thought was thin already. Apparently the Liquid air shaves off about 20 grams somehow.
After dropping my phone a couple of times I bought this one: EnergySpot Genuine Carbon Fiber Case for Google Pixel 6 Series, Aramid Fiber Cover, Shockproof Protector, Ultra Thin Lightweight Full Protect Shell Bumper Skin (Google Pixel 6 Pro) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09M4D167G/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_C4BJR5W3W8CDGMX284SA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I had something fall on me, and the sharp corner of the object hit my pocket just where I keep my phone. The best case wouldn't have helped. It protected me from a bruise, but cost me a new screen.
A screen protector might have helped, but this happened about a month into owning the 6 Pro and there weren't any tempered screen protectors available just yet. Now I have https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09LDF5C84 That might have saved the phone.
I bought a 2.5D tempered glass screen protector, and it pretty much works just as well as without. You can barely tell it's on there. Very happy with it: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09LDF5C84
It probably would have saved my phone's screen, if only I had been able to buy it a month after the phone came out. At the time, there were plastic protectors only, and that didn't help when a heavy object fell onto me and smashed the phone inside my pocket (and inside a sleeve).
I normally prefer using the phone without a case, but felt that this time it needed some protection. Picked the thinnest (but strong) case that I could find: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09L6F72W2 Quite happy with it. It doesn't fully protect the edges, but that's always a problem with phones that have rounded screens. I wish my phone had a flat screen, that would make things easier and I prefer the looks anyway.
There's a few interesting options on Amazon under £15, but not an abundance.

But even that's £20.
I'm a fan of rhinoshield cases, they have loads of designs from brands and artists, and you can get a custom printed case, but they're more expensive.
Very cool, I think that ESR Lock is exactly what I need.
ESR HaloLock MagSafe Ring [Magnetic Sticker for Wirelss Charging Conversion Kit] Compatible with iPhone 13/13 Pro/13 Pro Max/13 Mini/12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max/12 Mini Case, Samsung Galaxy-1 Black, 1 Silver https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08S6XQFDM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_74EV66A3E2TXS5M6PDN5
Can not see the network broadcasted. period. Even the u secured version.
Tested a USB adapter and it works fine.
And this issue started happening straight out of the box. Got both devices on preorder. I waited a bit, thinking an update would fix it, got fed up and spent a couple hours digging at it yesterday. I know the laptop is older, however it IS dual band and WPA2. In fact, here's the exact wifi card with specs.OEM Dell Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 Wifi & Bluetooth Card 0N2VFR N2VFR https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BKTYBRC/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_M4QRQ8ZAYYMXC4M54PMQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I honestly think the problem is that the wifi hotspot doesn't actually switch correctly between connection types.
I'm using this one for my P6P, love it. AINOYA Case Compatible with Google Pixel 6 pro 6.7-inch, Military-Grade Shockproof, Translucent Matte PC with Soft Edges https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HX388FB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_XRBTH13XBNYMS2T8BEM6
Good luck with the 5a.
I try to be gentle with putting the usb-c cable in and out. ( not saying that is why your phone's usb port failed but as I get older I realize that gentle works, even on things like zippers which I used to have lot of failures.)
Currently for my Pixel 4a I use a cable that attaches with a magnet. So far it seems to work fine.
This is a 3-pack that I bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MDZ44XC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Probably larger than you want, Amazon has these universal cases
It will 100% last you 5 years with security and iOS updates. Plus magsafe mount in your car will change your life. If you get a magsafe capable case this is a must have if you do much driving. I have mine mounted to the windshield.
Never tried this but you can after reboot and check sound settings:
1) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en&gl=US app like this to boost all the sound
2) edit phone config (root required) to set another call volume
3) check phone in safe mode (it can be broken by third-party app)
4) try mono sound in settings
3) factory reset
4) update phone to latest android
For anyone wondering how I themed the non-google app icons, here are the instructions: You will need two apps and it's gonna be quite time consuming because you will have to apply the icons for each app seperately. First of all you will of course need an icon pack. I recommend Pix Material You Light/Dark. In addition you will have to install Shortcut Maker. After installing both of these apps, long press your homescreen, select widgets, search for shortcut maker and put the corresponding widget on your homescreen. Shortcut maker will open where you have to select "Apps" and search for the app you want to apply the icon to. Then go to "Icon" and select the icon from your newly installed icon pack. Repeat this process for every app you want to theme.

My top choice! Highly recommend this case. Slim and Lightweight Carbon Fiber case for Google Pixel 6 Pro Phone Protective Cover (for Pixel 6 Pro, Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09L6F72W2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2SF572EYR9ZXPV367KTE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
No where with Google of course...
However did read the article related to this post and I saw where they're saying it could have something to do with the case? So this is the case that I'm rockin':
Spigen Ultra Hybrid Designed for Google Pixel 6 Pro Case (2021) - Matte Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0964J6RLB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_BTB3MH5NA7RPPZ41B44D?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I just got this today..
[3+2 Pack] for Google Pixel 6 Pro Screen Protector [Support Fingerprint Unlocking] 3x 3D Curved Tempered Glass and 2x Camera Lens Protector for Pixel 6 Pro 5G https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LDF5C84/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_30NSX04DBK7T4039QPJD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It's a beast of a kit, it comes with a UV light to cure the glue. I read on another chat about a very similar one like this. This screen protector covers the entire camera. It goes on very easy and so far the fingerprint sensor seems to have about the same response as it did with my previous peelable plastic one, it's not 100% but it opens before I have to enter the passcode.
Bummer. That's out of stock right now. I"m getting these. Thoughts?

Define custom or bland? What is bland to you, is perfect for someone else.
If you do want a unique phone case, I'd recommend something like this carbon fiber case, Slim and Lightweight Carbon Fiber case for Google Pixel 6 Phone Protective Cover (for Pixel 6, Black) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09LZ825LT/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_0AHK9503HX2JHKT9K1JG?psc=1. Or perhaps a luxury genuine leather from Belroy, https://bellroy.com/products/leather-case-for-pixel-6/leather_pixel6/terracotta?store_currency=1abe985632a1392e6a94b885fe193d5943b7c213&shipping_to_country=US&gclid=Cj0KCQiAzfuNBhCGARIsAD1nu-_n6188zeQRROxDXuVkuTTeo6HRS8IVi7WExRrPctfRaCRlkj....
Check Etsy as well.
Another alternative to the Qi-style wireless charging is getting a MagSafe-style charge cable and connector. I have had a great deal of luck with these:
https://smile.amazon.com/NetDot-Charging-Compatible-Smartphones-i-Product/dp/B07XHJ3KCD
They are a little more expensive than regular cables, but they are great. I have been able to do the highest charging rate with them, full speed data transfers, etc. I actually bought enough so that all my devices (tablet, headphones, etc) have the compatible connectors. But, having it for in the car was the initial reason I did it. It is so nice to be able to just put the cable end near the phone connector, and the magnet pulls them together. It takes 2-3 seconds to grab the cable and connect it. (The cable end also has a small light, so it is even easier even in complete darkness.)
Not sure what to say about the mic issue. Is it worse if you are driving (ie., lots of background noise), or bad all the time? I have found I need to enunciate some words to get Android to interpret them correctly. (Last night, I could not get it to understand "obviously". No matter how I pronounced it, it always thought I said "I'll be asleep"!)
I really hope you/Google are able to get the Pixel 6 issues resolved. I loved the idea of the Pixel, being a flagship, ideal development platform for apps, and a standard for what Android was capable of. The 6 seemed to be as if Google put that aside and said, let the interns throw something together at the last minute and we will still make lots of money.
From everything I have read, the "budget" 5a is better than the 6 in many ways, which is just embarrassing! Still, many of the problems seem like they could be fixed with the right software fixes, so I will hold out hope for a while longer...
I got this one and been using it for the last 2 weeks. No complaints so far.
AOKUMA Google Pixel 6 Tempered Glass Screen Protector, [2 Pack] Premium Quality Guard Film, Case Friendly, Shatterproof, Shockproof, Scratchproof oilproof https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B094XY26X6/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WVP6KVVGFFZ0K6N4N77W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I've been using this for almost 2 years exactly with my Pixel 4XL and now my P6P w/ case. Has always worked great for me. Not rapid charging but charges pretty quick and has a quiet fan. It is literally on my desk as I type with my fully charged P6P sitting on it.
