The "satisfaction" you are describing is the exact issue with loot boxes. It's gambling, play and simple and preys on addiction.
I'm all for developers making money, but Loot Boxes are predatory.
You also gotta keep in mind what the IP is and the parent company, this is Animal Crossing a game directed towards a younger audience, and one of Nintendo's most popular IPs.
Some good articles to inform yourself on why people find them problematic:
https://kotaku.com/loot-boxes-are-designed-to-exploit-us-1819457592
Here's my old market box. Certain stuff would never sell, like squids. Other stuff like bugs would need constant tedious restocking. Pic
Here's my new box. Pic It's very easy to restock.
Demand is going to be different with your friends. Just put stuff out there and see what sells! You're doing your friends a big service simply by having buyable stuff... not no damn 30,000 tuna! Grrrr... ahah
Good luck and have fun!
Look for deals on VPN service. They'll all have servers in the US that you should be able to use. I think Nord VPN has had a lot of discount codes for different Youtubers recently that may still work. I use Private Internet Access. Just make sure that whatever VPN you get not only has an application for your PC to use but also an app for your phone.
Using a VPN in general helps make your browsing a bit safer, anyway. It encrypts all your traffic so nobody can eavesdrop on you and sometimes your VPN will also block ads for you, which can help prevent some viruses.
Feel you. It's so sad cause the items in Julian's set are genuinely beautiful. It's so frustrating how these types of games are so predatory and esp lure in players with addictive personalities, OCD, etc. Like I just want an Animal Crossing game, not to gamble.
I'm part of an other mobile game community so I'll share some coping strategies for resisting gatchas/lootboxes and developing a healthier relationship with these types of games:
So stay strong everyone! And if it gets too much consider taking a break and deleting the game. You can back up your data with Nintendo & come back later. Your mental health is important and there's no shame taking care of yourself. Recognize predatory patterns and don't fall into it.
Thank you, minutedeth!
Each of the six infographics so far has come from getting really confused or frustrated about something, or making a big mistake.
Then I go off and do a bunch of research to find out what’s really going on, mostly on the ACPC Discord. Next, that raw data has to be digested into a bigger picture of how that all affects a regular player, and optimal ways to exploit all these rules.
The hard part is then trying to condense these (sometimes pretty complex) systems into a clear presentation of the right essentials to help others avoid the same frustrations/mistakes, without confusing things even more! 😜
To actually assemble the final product, I use the terrific Pages app that’s available for free online. 😊
The thread is appreciated, but the AnTuTu benchmark suggested in the HowToGeek article appears to be missing.
AIDA64 was suggested in one of the other topics and seems to do the trick. The information is under CPU->Instruction Set.
Apkmirror is owned by androidpolice.com, probably the most trusted android news site.
Here's an easter egg for you:
The people who made Glitch now make the popular team communication tool Slack. The error page on Slack's web site, whenever you try to go to a page on it that doesn't exist ... is Glitch.
You can't actually play it, but you can pan back and forth through the initial area, and you can pet chickens and piggies (they like it).
https://slack.com/abcdefg (you can put anything after the slash)
Ahhh okay, that is interesting then.
Code is here:
I'll be interested to see what you get in your simulations. I know one other person who separately simulated getting all items from a cookie type and they got about 50-51 cookies on average too.
It'd also be interesting to calculate an expected "worst" value (99% of simulations being completed, perhaps).
Can you download the app 64Bit Checker or AIDA64? Those apps can show you which OS you have.
Thanks! I used /u/iWantToGoIntoSpace 's app to go into landscape mode and used the camera in game to take a picture. I'm not sure of an option for iOS though.
I noticed it not only doesn't show how many each person shared from your friend list, but it doesn't show who shared, either.

The only way I can see now is when I'm collecting, and by the time it's done collecting and giving me any rewards, I forget whose names I saw so I know who to return to (and how many creatures they left, so I can try to "evenly" distribute between friends).

I'm glad I don't see the friend listed 10 times in a row for a single visit, but I'm hoping they add it back eventually and say "Friend Name shared 4 🐞 & 6 🦋 "
You can always install this app to check and see if your phone passes SafetyNet. Sometimes even a non-rooted device can fail the SafetyNet check and any apps that use it will block you. Not sure if Pocket Camp uses this check like Android Pay and Pokemon Go do.
Also, if your phone was rooted in the past but isn't rooted now there could be some leftover files that it's finding and thinks your phone is still rooted.
Do a backup on iCloud or you computer. Hopefully your animal crossing is backed up on MyNintendo.
You may want to have a computer savvy person help you if you aren’t sure. But do a backup first!!
If you fail to get the phone into DFU mode just try again. It took me a few tries the first time. Good luck!
Here’s the step by step instructions:
Edited to add: make sure you have a backup. if you didn’t backup via MyNintendo this method WILL DELETE YOUR GAME.
Someone else had done the maths for you this time, but in future, ClevCalc has a Unit Price Comparison calculator. I usually use it for groceries, but it would work great for this too. I think you can only compare four prices at a time though
Please I need some farmington friends.. I'm always on and will help whenever I can
Hey! Here's my Farmington friendship code: ZNDG5A. Let's play together! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ugo.com.play.free.farmington&1652460530
That should be enough.
The phone also needs to be 64bit. There's a playstore app you can use to check whether your phone is 32 or 64 bit.
This is it on Google Playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.finalwire.aida64
AC PocketCamp Google Play Store
I’m not familiar with android devices, but if you scroll towards the bottom it says the requirements.
Requires Android
5.0 and Up
I actually have a different ACNH planner I got here in Japan last month. Every day of the month has the respective animal whose birthday it is that day.

Do you have your code handy anywhere? I wrote a sim, too, but I'm getting > 90 cookies pretty consistently --> https://codepen.io/MKindy/full/qYPdGr/
Unless what you mean by "full set" is all the items available in one cookie type. My sim is just trying to win each top prize.
I think part of the issue is neither of those articles are reviews per se, assuming you're talking about this one from Kotaku and this one from Forbes.
The Kotaku article is more of a thinkpiece sort of thing, where the author wanted to explore one particular aspect of the game without formally reviewing it (Kotaku and Forbes usually say so in the title if they're actually writing a review). I this case, it's about the ways that the F2P model clash with the feel of the main series Animal Crossing games. I didn't get the impression that she was declaring the game to be bad, just that there are some things that don't quite "work." Even though I expect to keep happily playing for a little while, I'm kind of inclined to agree that there's some fundamental tension between F2P mechanics and the general vibe of Animal Crossing, even if I think she's overselling that tension a bit.
With Forbes, you have to remember that they're ostensibly writing for people interested in investing and business, so that article is written with an eye to the business of video games. If you read between the lines, what he's saying is the game is good enough that people would probably still play it even if the micro-transactions were more intrusive. That's probably as much of an endorsement as you can give a F2P mobile game.
(As a final observation, it's interesting that the main points of the two pieces are Kotaku: From an aesthetic perspective, there are too many F2P mechanics and Forbes: From a business perspective, there aren't enough F2P mechanics. Sounds like they've hit a pretty decent balance to me.)

Leaf tickets cost less then half as much in the US? What? You are telling me you guys over there can actually consider buying those?
They are such a rip-off in Europe that I never even think about buying anything. See here
I've started using Swagbucks to buy gift cards for LT purchases (had been using it for Amazon gift cards and had a lightbulb moment, lol). IIRC it's available in a fair number of different countries and they sell iTunes, Google Play, and just Visa/Paypal/etc. cards so most players should be able to use, I think.

Personally I've been satisfied with it. A little focus can net me a good $25 USD/month, and there are options other than surveys. I've heard some people make a decent amount of money if they do it hardcore, but even $25 gets about 700 LTs.
No, I don't think it's something that can be changed. You can download 64-bit check apps. This app is a very simple one and you can double check with this app which shows more info about your phone (go to CPU -> Instruction set, should say if it's in 32-bit or 64-bit mode).
Now you can own the Unicorn from Stella's cookie in real life!! I was browsing kangaroo balls on Amazon and found this!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JQ3V5DP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_51WPFbHJ60F5B
I don't have one so I can't swear it's exactly how you may imagine the Unicorn Plush in 3D but it's pretty close. There's a pinker version that has a different facial expression that is equally on target.
It's easy to Google but here it is on Amazon (Prime) for $10! It's on other sites cheaper but Amazon to me seems a bit more reliable. 😅

People in this thread are saying it's 32-bit. If you want to be sure, you can check it with the app 64Bit Checker. It's a very simple. Press 'check' in the app and it will show what OS you have.
Hey, this is a super old post so you may have figured it out by now, but I spent some time looking for an auto clicker that would do this and found this one
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ksxkq.autoclick
The thing is, I had to go to record, record the 4 clicks on the button, then click the little wrench to edit it to the correct timing
Here are my settings:
It has won every time so far!
I do this too. It's an app called Google Opinion Rewards. They send surveys occasionally, and usually you earn about $0.10 but sometimes more. Once I get up to $1 in credit, I buy the seasonal $0.99 LT pack. You get the most LT for the money plus extra event material (ex. this month is the ginkgo leaves).
Countries like Belgium that banned microtransactions or lootboxes don't display it in the appstore, you need a VPN or proxy then. Here it is from google playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nintendo.zaca
I use NordVPN and love it with and got 40% back (I'm in Canada). But the other day I tried to switch my country to the US for something else. Even though the VPN was set to the US, I figured out the Google Play store still thought I was in Canada. You can change your country through Google Play but it only lets you do that once per year and you need to have a method of payment in that new country
Yeah, sorry about that! I tried to turn it off and get a better screenshot but the speech bubble went away once I tapped the screen.. I use Twilight
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duapps.recorder
If you keep the whole screen, there is a little watermark on the bottom right corner. But if you crop it, it doesn't put a new one on!
Check out my app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=p4nd4.animalcrossinglandscape and discussion in this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/ACPocketCamp/comments/7exvdf/shameless_self_promoting_play_animal_crossing_in/
don't you worry I already ordered the puzzle backing sticker sheets from amazon... I have used these on other puzzles (mostly star wars lol) https://www.amazon.com/Puzzle-Presto-Peel-Stick-Saver/dp/B00E67F3WI?keywords=puzzle+sticker+sheets&qid=1536685859&sr=8-3&ref=mp_s_a_1_3
