I tilted by some degrees the map so that it fits perfectly my smartphone edge. Looks cool as wallpaper! I made it with this app I am currently working on. Hope you like it!
Try You Need a Budget (YNAB).
https://www.youneedabudget.com
It will let you get a real good view of your money in little chunks. So when that big pile of money appears on pay day you can split it up into all the jobs it needs to do over the month, quarter and year.
Rent is $300 a week? On monthly pay day put away $1,300 into the rent category. $60 a week on petrol? Put $260 into the fuel category. All of a sudden your big pile off cash on payday is split up into jobs and you don't feel so 'rich' on payday that you splurge on whatever it is you like to treat yourself with.
Or on the longer scale, your car insurance is $700 a year, so every month you put $58.33 aside. Then when it's time to pay it you don't have to have a poor month because you've saved up over the year for it. The fact it was due the same month as an electricity bill and your rego doesn't matter because you've planned for those as well.
It does cost about $80 a year but in my opinion well worth it.
As with many, I was an absolute convert of Pocket Weather AU. I haven't been able to find an app that gives me what I want. So my lockdown project was to write a weather app (at least something has come out of lockdown). I still have a lot of plans for it, but I have got it to a stage where I can release it. I made the decision to add a cost as I hate ad's but need to recoup some of my $$ outlay. The app uses a relatively new BOM api – same one the BOM app uses, and I'm not sure what their plans are in terms of charging for it, so I have put a note on the App Store listing to highlight this. I am Australian based, do this as a hobby, and would welcome feature requests/improvements. The app has two widgets at the moment – working on more. iOS version is also in testing. Might have a few rough edges, but I will try to fix any bugs asap.

Yep. It happens all the time. I don't think a lot of people understand how much renewable is generated in SA.

Pop Club does this sort of thing. Haven't been there for ages though so I can't vouch for its quality.
There are also uni clubs for D&D. Definitely check those out if you're a uni student, but even if you're not they probably won't mind if you join.
Failing that, you could try looking for games online, on Roll20 or something similar.
Also, /r/l4g is a dedicated subreddit for people looking for tabletop game groups.
Keep in mind, the hobby tends to attract strange people, at least in my experience. Don't be discouraged if the people in the community weird you out- D&D is fantastic if you find the right group.
For those who are curious, the Android version of the application has quite reasonable limited permissions: internet access and precise location. The precise location is required because of the built in map for finding polling places in relation to your location. https://imgur.com/a/34863
Whoops, meant to say "one of the only timezones", but yeah there are a couple of others you've mentioned.
The city choice is for users/UX, and will be a constant confusion, imagine being a tourist rocking up at the airport, setting your watch to 'ADL' and being half an hour out. Do we need to pay for an advertising campaign at the airport to alert tourists perhaps... it's going to cause a mess for years.
When the US messed with DST a few years back, they estimate it was about 200,000,000-300,000,000 worth of time spent on it. http://www.zdnet.com/article/what-does-daylight-saving-time-cost-it/ (obviously Adel would be a far smaller portion of that).
The shadow will start at 7:45pm but totality (ie when it goes orange) starts at 8:55pm so it'll be higher in the sky then (about 18 degrees)
I was planning on watching it from my own backyard, i'm not too fussed about missing the start of it, as long as it's in view by 8:30.
It's a bit hit and miss, but join any freecycle groups that are near to you (or just all the ones that you'd be willing to drive to)
e.g. freecycle.org or trashnothing.com
For urban exploration, hit up electra house. It holds the first elevator in Adelaide. If you're prepared to go a bit out of your way, I would also highly recommend Eli's tomb. https://sites.google.com/site/badooleoo/urbex/dr_f1l_good/elistomb. Both beautiful, safe and make for equally incredible pictures. From my experience with Eli's tomb though, you will need to go with at least two others To take good pictures. Changing lenses, pulling focus and supporting the tripod in pitch black conditions requires a lot of hands when there's nowhere to sit anything.
For anyone that is interested, more information can be found on the DPTI website.
There is also a survey that you can complete to help improve the road network in SA located here.
The survey is on the DPTI website.
If you do use Contiki, here are a few other minor suggestions:
Keep several copies of the addresses of the per-arranged accommodation in case you get separated from your group... otherwise you may not be able to find them again;
Pack a travel alarm to ensure you don't sleep through breakfast or the bus departure (i.e. don't think your group won't leave you behind);
If you shave with an electric razor, learn to use a disposable because they are awesome for traveling and work no matter how crazy the power sockets are in the country you are visiting;
Consider packing several gastro medications in case you are traveling in less developed countries... I've been caught in Nepal before and taking ALL the medications can save you much down-time if your unsure precisely what's made you sick.
> I was going to make a short documentary on war veterans, but I don't have the camera equipment or editing software to do that right now, and of course that costs money.
I'm going to assume you have a phone. There's your camera. Blender is a 3d modelling/animation software that can also do basic video editing. And its 100% free. Failing that Windows Movie Maker is free. That's all you need to start with.
There's a little more to it than that, check out this podcast episode by 'I had the Peanut' for some schoolin'

Have a go at this lot.
PS - you're on a list now.
What kind of latency issues? I see 1ms from my Uniti connection to Vocus' speedtest.net server in Adelaide, and 11ms to Internode in Melbourne. Admittedly, I'm on a business grade plan, but that doesn't make light travel any faster.
Looking at the latency chart generated by pfSense, for the past month, of link quality to an IP address somewhere in Uniti's infrastructure at the other end of my link:
>Minimum Average Maximum Last
>packet loss 0.20 % 0.42 % 0.85 % 0.29 %
>delay average 2.22 ms 2.57 ms 2.94 ms 2.45 ms
>delay std. dev. 2.26 ms 3.06 ms 3.74 ms 2.73 ms
I'm genuinely curious about the latency issues you've seen, because I just don't see them at all.
I use this app on Android. I'm sure you'll find similar for your platform of choice. You can set your location, date, and time for the direction of the sun.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.khalnadj.khaledhabbachi.gpsstatus&hl=en_AU
or
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eclipsim.gpsstatus2&hl=en_AU
I tried to find you something without ads, but both of these won't cost you anything and will allow you to see what the GPS receiver in the phone is actually doing when you have problems.
It's a fairly unique setup for a home user in Australia, though it's a home/office type deal.
I have a fast Internet connection (100/100 with Uniti Wireless) with a static IP address and a /29 subnet in a completely different address range. My Internet gateway, firewall, and router is a pfSense machine. I have configured it to listen for incoming OpenVPN attempts on a range of addresses and ports on the /29 subnet, and everything outgoing is pushed through a ProtonVPN OpenVPN connection on one of the /29 addresses. pfSense takes care of all the routing and so on.
The various public services running on the /29 subnet aren't impacted.
I have the ProtonVPN link always up so LAN and inbound VPN traffic is pushed through that. I run OpenVPN on my laptops and phones and tablets (and those of my family, and staff) which are pretty much permanently connected to here. Everything is secure, but importantly, we can work remotely without any serious issues accessing internal services or whatever.
I used to use PIA and they were pretty good. The "disable internet on disconnect" option never worked for me, though. I bought a year's subscription at a big discount but when it ran out I decided to shop around.
I ended up getting a "lifetime" subscription (renewed every 20 years for free) with VPNSecure through StackSocial. They're pretty similar, based on those resources I posted earlier, and the speeds are also very similar to what I had with PIA. It also has Korean servers which is a massive plus over PIA for me. Probably the biggest downside is that it's a smaller company than PIA and sometimes has longer downtimes. However, they are based in Australia so their support is always available when I need them and have always been very helpful.
Download an app onto your phone that gives you real time updates of where the bus is. Head to the bus stop when your bus is close.
iOS: NextThere
on Android I use WhereDaBus which is clunky as anything but has real time updates so I've just stuck with it
Buy a couple of nightclub bouncer clickers
Write can, glass or plastic etc on a few counters, every time you add to that type of collection click away. Bob’s your uncle, problem sorted.
Great idea.
I think this one represents good value for money.
It's not a DIY solution but maybe an idea for the creepy fairy. You can buy fairy wings and pair them with a skeleton costume. Good luck!!!
Just get it off Amazon and save the mess.
Gumboots you can search online too. Plenty of options, you could invest in a quality pair of gumboots and they’ll last you for life. Plus yellow is a cute colour.
Obviously not what you're asking about but I've found this book really helpful for learning about kids with ADHD, it gave me some great perspective on what they're going through :

Sure, no problem, this one: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07RXQJ148/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought it when they had a flash sale for around about $260 delivered.
Generally a cheap pair between $10-$20 does the job. I get them off Amazon.
I have these right now:
Night Driving Glasses for Men &... https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09X5CTQY9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The lenses are a little smaller then I’d like. However they still do the job.
In the past I’ve also used these:
Night Driving Glasses - Anti-Glare, HD Night Vision, Clarity Lenses https://amzn.asia/d/jdSrEpp
Both work okay.
I won’t endorse a particular VPN, but I will recommend you get a paid one rather than a free service. The free ones are slow, have limited options, and sell your data to stay afloat.
As for paid ones, just be aware that because NordVPN is so popular it has been man-in-the-middle attacked at least twice. This is where a hostile party hacks in and gets the servers to send copies of the data to them.
This is to say, get a paid VPN that isn’t NordVPN.
I use ProtonVPN. I like Proton because of their focus on privacy and data security (I also use their email) but also because the pricing is competitive, their apps just work, and they work fine with streaming services including Netflix.
I used NordVPN for several years before switching and it was fine but I did find I had to switch servers sometimes to get certain streaming services to work, which was a slight pain, I had an occasional issue with the app on my computer that required a programming fix (and their customer service was good in teaching me what to do but it was annoying to have to do it every few months) and they’ve had some issues with data security.
I use ExpressVPN, ofr what it is worth. They claim not to keep activity logs for users, which means increased privacy and was a selling point for me. I've found it to be fast, but mostly I just use it for increased privacy, so I don't know how you would go for other applications.
Those things are legitimately good reasons to consider a VPN.
However, as a parent myself, the flip side to VPNs is that they could be used to access certain information on the internet that is not appropriate for under age people.
VPNs also offer an ability to circumvent some parental controls if you have any.
If you elect to go ahead, Mullvad is an excellent option. Yes, it’s paid, but it’s fully private as well.
There's a mad man called Cletus that lives in Adelaide. He's actually wrote a book about his adventures and is continuing to right more. The book is fantastic and unique and I truly believe it would make for a great doco/movie
This is the description on the book..

Hi.
I've been watching YouTube videos from the Aussie Cossack, Avi Yemini, as well as other Youtubers from outside of Australia, such as Carl Vernon, Michael Knowles, Anything Goes, Memeology101, John Talks, VICPOLexposed 1854, Mark Dice, AwakenWithJP, Jimmy Rees, Russell Brand and Salty Cracker. I might have left some out, not sure.
Anyhoo. I've been watching them for a while now, although I've stopped for quite a long time as I just wanted to get back into watching fun videos such as 8-BitRyan. I personally agree with them. I've also watched Pauline Hanson's Please Explain cartoons and find them quite fun!
In one of Cossacks videos, he saw the same volunteer who was promoting Labour was now wearing a Liberal shirt and promoting Liberals. So that was pretty interesting to see. The council were also removing signs from UAP but kept the Liberal and Labour signs up and I felt that wasn't right of them to do that.
Also, I saw a video where someone in the crowd wanted to ask the Labour PM a question and he said yes and so he asked it then after, he said something like "Uh actually, only officially approved Journalists can ask questions."
Then in one of Anything Goes videos, I learnt about stuff, like in this video Why The Regime Hates Joe Rogan
A State of Fear: How the UK government weaponised fear during the Covid-19 pandemic
And yeah basically that's about it really as to why I trust One Nation more than the Major parties, as they call them. They're definitely not going to win though so I don't know why I should even bother voting for them to be honest, but I shall anyhoo.
Have a good day!
Use a budgeting app, it’s amazing where all the money goes once start tracking it.
We use YNAB, takes a bit to setup, it’s free for a month I think then $7/month, but it’s been worth it for us.
You can use other apps but this one worked for us.
>picture test is flawless?
My bad, I didn't see this. Yeah panel is probably fine then.
I'd would pursue posting an photo of what you're seeing for more data. Upload to somewhere like https://imgbb.com/ and then paste the link.
Very interested in a comparison between FTA regular SD channel, a HD channel (if you can call it HD...) from something like ABC HD (20), SBSHD (30?) and YouTube (assume app?)
> cut scene.
In tv land they also call it an establishing shot because it's put at the start of a scene to communicate context about where/when a scene takes place. If you look up 'stock establishing shot' and cross with an image search, you can find the source on Shutterstock:
> agreed, unless you point them to the graves off the Beaumont children i doubt they will.
To get information from a reputable VPN provider they would require the use of MLAT. For purposes where you think the law is going to be interested in you, Tor is a better option.
Unless you're doing a crime in those countries a VPN is sufficient.
It depends on what your interests are really... most people tend to seek out activities they like doing. It's like this pretty much anywhere you live in the world.
There are literally hundreds of thousands of activities and events you can do. Go to one of the best ovals in Australia to watch a footy match? Go see some live music at one of the many great venues we have here (The Gov just won best venue). There are millions of great restaurants and pubs here for a night out, go seek out some of the smaller or stranger bars around. Some of the best 'new' stage shows in the world are currently touring right here in Adelaide.
We have lots of cool breweries you can visit, and organise a tour of. There's the Royal Adelaide show coming up soon, MOD on North Terrece has lots of science-based activities, and it's a short walk or tram to hit up the museum if that's your thing.
We have multiple escape rooms, lawn bowls clubs (depending on the weather) or go for 10-pin bowling and laser tag available all over Adelaide. There's a mini-golf pub in the city which is fun for a group.
There are some really good cooking schools around, and/or hit up the farmers markets and get your friends around for a big cook-up matched with SA wine/beer.
If you have specific interests (i.e. gaming or a niche interest) checkout meetup.com as there is probably a group you can join up to.

Oh yeah, we used to have something like this too! I remember it had like coil/spring things to connect the wires to each component. I preferred using the breadboards though because you could rearrange everything.

Plenty of Instant Booking places on AirBnB. Here, I've already set the filter for Instant booking on and places for $80 or less.
As someone posted previously: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/pronunciation/english/recess
US vs UK. When talking about the break during school, I've only ever heard the US pronunciation here in Adelaide. When talking about something being recessed, it'll usually be the UK pronunciation.
Technically she's correct. "RE-cess" is the typical US American pronunciation whereas "re-CESS" is the UK pronunciation. See here: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/pronunciation/english/recess
BUT... that doesn't mean you're wrong. Everyone I know here uses the US pronunciation when referring to the morning break at school. And I think I would naturally use the UK pronunciation when talking about something being recessed into the wall.
At a guess, I'd say this is because "recess" as a school period is a US American thing so we use their pronunciation for it. The people I know in the UK just call it a "break" or something like that.
Edit:
Here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recess_(break)
Americans are the ones who called it "recess", so I guess we just copied them instead of calling it a break like our UK friends.
>But in fact some AV's (like Norton defender) seem to cause more trouble than they solve.
Absolutely right. I got so frustrated with this I paid for Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra (corporate antivirus with EDR) for my extended family. Worked out a similar price to boxed consumer products at that quantity. It means I get notified if there is an issue too.
I've found AV-Test.org to be quite good over the years in reporting which AV is good for each sector.
Windows Defender is rates well at the moment for desktop AV. The issues occur with its variability. When people are designing ransomware (etc) they will make sure it isn't blocked by Defender because it is the most popular and the default. If Defender was adequate, nobody would be hit by ransomware.
>And finally..wherever you are getting your knowledge from, be aware that it's very much in AV vendor's interests to portray windows AV as not being good enough.
Very much aware of this one. One of the big things at the corporate side is Microsoft isn't going to lift a finger to help if an attack is successful. Corporate venders do. At the high end you've got companies like Crowdstrike which charge $18 per month per computer. For that though they're already cleaning up an attack by the time you get a notification.
>Out of curiosity, do you have a free AV you would recommend?
If you can ignore the pushy popups to upgrade, Avast. But overall for home spend the money and get Malwarebytes because it now does AV and Malware/Adware/Crapware/etc.
No worries, it's a really weird industry in some ways because it's very easy to get into the low end but without the right "steps" it can be really hard to advance.
Also he might be interested in taking a look at these two sites (in this order as well), that can help teach a little about coding to help gauge interest;

I don’t know if it’s the same service in Aus but, my Psychiatrist here in the states recommended me Headspace. It was free to try through the Psych, I’m yet to try it out but if it is the same... I would also be keen to here about other peoples experiences with it.
I recommend OpenStreetMap over Google Maps for this stuff as the tracks are more detailed. It can be contributed by anyone so thank you to those who are passionate to do it.
*in general response to those describing getting there*
If you have access to a DVR, many of them have inputs for composite cables like those found on most VCRs. You can simply plug in your VCR into those inputs and record straight onto your DVR's HDD, then burn your movie onto a DVD from there. You can usually find more info on this process in the DVR's manual. If you want to transfer your movies to a computer, then you can use a DVD ripping software (a good free one is Handbrake). This process seems a little convoluted, but I found that it produces better quality videos than most USB dongles, plus if you have a DVR and VCR already then you shouldn't need to spend much money on this process.
Bear in mind most commercial VHS tapes are copy protected and probably won't work with the DVR method.
I actually watched an interesting video the other day which uses an alternate method of using an upscaler and a video capture card used by gamers to stream game videos. You may find this method interesting too.
I'd really either go for https://www.duolingo.com which people rave about, or get the Pimsleur lessons and just do them in the car or something. I've done both for German and while I never got too far with it, they both seem like really good methods.
In the time it'd take you to get to a class, you'd have done more worthwhile study on your own, anyway.
Keeping up appearances is more like it... or the old saying, More money than sense. 400K for that!! they are 56,000 pounds so basically rich people like giving the government / Mercedes Adelaide 300k.. 3X the cars worth! That's an epic fail!!
.
P.S. I just realised there is <strong>headspace</strong>, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, and <strong>Headspace</strong>, a meditation app. I realised that I could have mixed up what you said earlier, but I still recommend checking out some apps if that is your thing!

Well man a lot of the tools are free that we use, or have free tiers. If you're wanting a start, downloading Visual Studio Community gives you a free set of tools for C, C++ and C# plus some other options too. There's plenty of tutorials online and books about languages.
Ahh, yeah, it's right down there.
It could have something to do with Mr Barila, but Jackson Gothe-Snape (author) seems to be a data guy, so he might trawl reddit too.
if you think I am upset from being banned from you're insane inner-monologue of a sub reddit, then you are mistaken.
If you need something to compare the feeling with, lets use your own words to describe how I feel about being banned from your sub. "Being banned from twitter for calling a trans bloke that raped a 8 year old girl in a female toilet a freak is a badge of honor I’m happy to wear.". So, yeah, nah.
If you think "stalking" is referencing your own public comments on a public forum, and tracking down your alt-right islamphobe GAB account, which uses the same user name and profile picture, as you do on reddit, then you have an interesting definition of the word 'stalking'
This is twice now you have tagged me in comments, despite previously demanding me to leave you alone.

We've never had a premier quite like him. I read a biography published relatively recently about him. He was really quite a visionary and a good jolt to the establishment that existed at the time. He did a lot. Legalised homosexuality, brought in massive restaurant reform (apparently there were only ~40 'restaurant licences' statewide when he came in), sacked the police commissioner for misleading parliament, setup West Lakes... he was close friends with Maggie Beer too!
Dymista was a game changer for me.
The other thing was nasal irrigation. Might seem a little over the top at first but one of these, some distilled water and some nasal wash
Flush your sinuses out with that then a hit of dymista is next level.

May not be the same polished app style but I tend to use Adelaide Transit: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lighthouseaustralia.transit&hl=en_US&gl=US has everything I found to be useful for my random train/bus travel.
It’s an important thing to recognise because it can be confusing to the person experiencing it, and to people around the affected person who don’t understand why this person is grieving/reacting when the event hasn’t happened yet (especially if they have not experienced a significant loss themselves). It can also create guilt where you feel like your emotional state is taking up space that should be allocated to the person you’re grieving while they are still here. I still feel this guilt years on - I wish I’d spent more time with my mum but I was overwhelmed and scared and running away instead. But we can’t punish ourselves - we do what we can.
I also recommend getting a copy of the book Coping with Grief. It is a short, easy read but does an excellent job of placing grief in terms that are easy to understand. Share it with your support network. My sister and I and our partners all read it and felt it was beneficial. https://www.amazon.com.au/Coping-Grief-5th-Dianne-McKissock-ebook/dp/B078QWCBG3/ref=nodl_

I couldn't find the exact brick I bought earlier this year but here is one for around 40
I went through all of Amazon aus bike cards and this was the cheapest per unit and also had free shipping I believe.

When my short haired cat starting getting mats (I think her mother forgot to teach her how to groom, she just bites at her fur..) I got this dematting brush off amazon, took like a month to get to me and it was the wrong one but whatever, got the right one for free. The brush works wonders for matting, just brush as normal over the mat and after a few pass overs the mat just falls out! YMMV of course but this has solved my cat matting problem plus she loves it. She used to hate being brushed but now she comes up to me daily wanting a quick brush. Disclaimer: Not an ad, I just have a defective cat lol
You can cover up the plug with a lockable cover - so long as the meter can still be read it's totally okay. Depending on the type of outlet you can get a lockable cover from bunnings for like $15, or go really upscale with an Amazon import for $25.
Something like this: https://www.amazon.com.au/Sealproof-Weatherproof-Electrical-Receptacle-Protector/dp/B0756K2CYN
I found the Android app per your instruction. Really appreciate what you shared and yes, $13 is totally fine compared with what typical training sessions will cost.
May I ask if this is the correct app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.tso.itilfourfoundation
I've used , which got good reviews, and I was happy with it. I switched to NordVPN after reading that doesn't block IP leaks as well as some. Nord seems noticeably slower. But it works OK.
I’ve previously used ExpressVPN it was pretty good (more user friendly) Now I’m using VPNarea only because they have several Adelaide servers. I use OpenVPN setup
Both support multiple OS such as Linux (including Kodi), OS X, Windows, iOS, Android and router setups
I usually can hit 85-90% of my connection (95mbps-ish download FTTH VPN off)
Yeah, unless the VPN itself is throttled (which some providers do, but can also be circumvented), you can put all of your traffic through a single unthrottled port. Mainly useful for port-specific throttling like BitTorrent etc.
I recommend VyprVPN. You can use their service for free for a couple of days to see if it helps. Their connection speed is around 20-30Mbps, so unless you have NBN or Cable won't affect your speed much at all.
Any other clues? Colour of the cover, what was it about, how long it was?
Could be something like this?
Seems like you just need bolts. Studs are the threaded parts coming out of the exhaust port, which the manifold bolts on to.
Those missing bolts are simply to support the exhaust.
Looks to me like you want an M8 threaded bolt that is 40mm long, with a flanged head. Somewhere like Coventry fasteners could hook you up.
Or call Honda and ask if they have the following part number:
https://www.amazon.com/Honda-95701-08040-00-Bolt-Flange-8X40/dp/B007JKQ7K6
Don't ride it like that BTW, the manifold wont enjoy supporting the full weight of the exhaust.
I don't have a store, i'm just organising.
I did make an app for the event, not much to it but it'll tell you who will be there, how to get there and what it is and link to their Etsy shops. It's also got every other city's corresponding event.
