Check out a website called StackSocial. They have lifetime VPN subscriptions for a fraction of the price. I've been using VPNSecure for a few years now with zero issues. Lifetime subscription cost me $15 I think. Research the VPN before purchasing it.
"VPNSecure was directly identified in an academic paper for leaking IPv6 and DNS requests, which leaves its users exposed to “mass surveillance and malicious agents.” The same paper also noted that VPNSecure has a number of egress points in residential ISPs. This suggests that users are unknowingly being used as endpoints in a P2P-like bandwidth network – i.e. user bandwidth is being stolen (although the paper could not confirm this)." -from VPN Warning List
Hello folks. I am currently the person trying to get it to work. If anyone know anything about VPN maybe they can help. Whenever I try to connect to any of the Australian servers it attempts to connect for awhile then says "You have been disconnected from "
I am able to connect to other countries so does it mean that the Australian servers are just overloaded? Thanks for any help. I will try to get through this as fast as I can to give other people a chance.
Edit: After looking into it on reddit more from other people trying to use this same program it seems that it is indeed overloaded. Unfortantly that means that other people trying it will also be met with the same problem. I will keep trying this for atleast another hour and if I manage to get it to work I will tell whomever is next which server to try and connect to.
One of the providers on that list has a canary that was last updated in the future. Also the day doesn't match the date. Might just be a typo but it's still not acceptable.
If the concept of a canary is to be meaningful, any VPN provider that has anything off about their canary ought to be immediately removed from the list by those that maintain the list.

You're coming into the right time of the year for some great lifetime deals. I use VPNSecure. I bought a lifetime subscription on Black Friday about two/three years ago. Been great so far. Give it a few weeks and shop around! :-)
They did, and they are only getting better at.

Source: I have multiple paid VPN services. When I started, both worked for accessing geo-restricted Netflix content, now neither one does. So it's definitely not as useful in that respect. In respect to securing the rest of your online activities, they are excellent for that. The two I have are VPNSecure and ProtonVPN.
Got a friend’s lifetime account because he didn’t need it anymore and I can see why. It’s so slow as to be unusable and the clients are horrible, the iOS one doesn’t even work.
Sure, it’s free for me, but unusable.
So root certificates and VPN Clients are different right? VPNSecure offers OpenVPN Client download among others as well as connecting by PPTP through OS without Downloading but I hear PPTP is insecure anyway
From an email with VPNSecure >The only thing they found with our mobile application was lack of IPv6 blocking. The app itself won't connect if it's an IPV6 network only and our DNS servers block IPv6 requests.
>So as long as there is no static IP address configured then no leaking occurred.
>Unfortunately when I sent this response to the researcher last year he didn't respond to my comments.
>The fact that they didn't reply to me and they mention they were unable to find how this happened >within the application leads me to believe questionable testing.
>We do plan to add IPv6 blocking but the DNS servers currently take care of that in Android since no >AAAA records can be returned.
Can only think of one Australian VPN off the top of my head.
Don't know what network they use so you would have to look in to that yourself. Then again any provider with an Australian server should be good enough?
Perhaps IPVanish or VyprVPN? Maybe slightly higher priced than others but have a good network infrastructure.
Ok so spoke to Shayne @ VPNSecure live chat and he sorted it in minutes! Start VPN on AU Server, browse steam store for a few pages, stop VPN and browse store for few pages again, then turn VPN back on, when you browse to Bioshock it should be working. Kudos for great customer support!
Hi Ryano3,
Can you send through the paypal receipt to as this has never happened before unless you have chosen the $9.95/month OpenVPN Plan by mistake.
Cheers, Adam - VPNSecure Support
Yeah, I’ve got a ‘lifetime’ vpn from VPNSecure that I use almost exclusively for . I get free from t-mobile each year, but the blackout rules are ridiculous. They haven’t made any effort to make streaming a viable option. I’m guessing MASN has some 100 year exclusive broadcasting contract for the DMV area or something, with no carveouts for mlb streaming.
List of VPN providers I found on an article written on February 4th 2021
>it relies on third-party providers who at this writing included standard VPN services such as Private Internet Access, Boleh VPN, Liquid VPN, and VPNSecure.
"Orchid review: The cryptocurrency VPN | Macworld" #:~:text=Orchid%20for%20Mac%20uses%20single,%2C%20Liquid%20VPN%2C%20and%20VPNSecure.
What's especially dumb is a cheap VPN service that I don't trust, runs my torrents with no problems AT ALL. Maybe my ISP is looking for the big name VPN providers, idk. I'll give them a call.
VPN: VPNSecureMe
Mobile internet: Claro (with 4G roaming) and of course I’m talking about a mobile router paired with a WiFi enabled phone.
Phone: Anything with WiFi calling with a US number, use it while you travel the country (and I hope you do)
Provider from the US for expenses: T-Mobile. If you aren’t using the Claro (or can’t get service) then you still have free international data and texts, for $30-$40 a month. Doesn’t matter what provider from the US you use there as far as actual service, you’ll be at the will of whatever your phone can handle, so make sure your phone can handle all MHz frequencies, and make absolutely sure it’s unlocked.
Google Voice can be your friend too (or similar services) just make sure your caller ID shows up correctly when you call people back.
All I can think of at the moment, hope it helps.
It's pretty easy. You just need a VPN service. I use VPNSecure because I got a lifetime subscription for $29, but any VPN would work. You can either install the VPN app and run it before running Kodi. Or, like I do, you can use Kodi settings to apply an HTTP Proxy. You turn on HTTP Proxy in Kodi's system settings and then enter your Proxy server name and password. Then you have to restart Kodi.
Before I used an http proxy my IPTV streams would start and play for around 30 seconds before cutting out. With the proxy they work normally. I can only assume Comcast was throttling the traffic since I have 250mbps service.
I used to use PIA and they were pretty good. The "disable internet on disconnect" option never worked for me, though. I bought a year's subscription at a big discount but when it ran out I decided to shop around.
I ended up getting a "lifetime" subscription (renewed every 20 years for free) with VPNSecure through StackSocial. They're pretty similar, based on those resources I posted earlier, and the speeds are also very similar to what I had with PIA. It also has Korean servers which is a massive plus over PIA for me. Probably the biggest downside is that it's a smaller company than PIA and sometimes has longer downtimes. However, they are based in Australia so their support is always available when I need them and have always been very helpful.
Revolut still works, however, the VPN method is a bit stricter now. Ive never personally had success with Hola, I use VPNSecure - and you dont select Argentina, I use Vietnam - and it works 100% of the time.
But, I dont buy via PC, I load my VPN via PC, then plug my Xbox into my PC and then purchase the game via the Xbox from the Store (once you've set your console to Argentina and reset it)
Credit is for the xda-developers depot. VPNSecure seems to be pretty good, according to Thatonesecuritysite and on /r/vpn.
Another user asked the customer service about why the license shows for 20 years in the panel on the website. They said it refreshes after 20 years, to be lifetimes worth. Feel free to go to their webpage to ask any questions before you buy. The customer service is live, and very helpful.
Visit This page to see more about the $10 credit. I am not sure if you need to sign in to see it or not.
There's a simpler version here.
I used to use PIA because I felt it was the best compromise between privacy and affordability, although I didn't like the fact that it was based in the US. I found the speeds a little inconsistent and the VPN software was a bit clunky but overall it was pretty good.
Last month I took advantage of a "lifetime subscription" deal and switched to VPNSecure. It was about the same price as one year's subscription to PIA, with very similar privacy and security features (better, if you consider Australia safer than the US). The software is a bit cleaner and the speeds seem more consistent, but overall it's pretty similar to PIA. The price is the major difference for me.
Those two are the only VPNs I've used to date, but they were both worthwhile purchases.
Doesn't matter. This was always going to happen.
Get yourself VPNSecureMe at less than $8 a month. You can connect to almost any country (opening up localised content) and the bandwidth available is unlimited and you'll see speeds of up to 1MB/s on any of their proxies.
Plus, if you are superparanoid, you can select a Secure proxy so all data is encrypted, then your ISP can't tell what sort of traffic you're doing.
I have been using the service for over a year, in a country which has a three-strikes-and-you-re-out policy. Fucking Americans, fucking up our internets.
I am quite worried about this as well. I used to have a NAS box but now it just sits ideally as a file server within intranet.
Now I mainly torrent using VPN in a Virtual Window (since I want to keep my main windows with fast connection), with VPNSecure since they offer a lot of location and one in Japan as well. I only use the SSL connection with the VPN.
Though I would like to hear about a fast seedbox (ftp to Japan) if anyone know a good one.
VPNSecure, usually routed through Germany. Bought a lifetime sub a few years back, no problems yet.
Speeds are close to the capacity for our line (we're only FTTC so 80 Mbps, and we often see high 8s and low 9s in the MB speed ticker at the bottom of QBit), and they allegedly don't keep logs. It also has a built-in killswitch option, which you'll want to enable.
They apparently also have iOS and Android clients, and a built-in adblocker, but as I only use it for torrenting on Windows and all my browsers have their own adblockers running, I've no idea how well those bits of the service work.
I use a browser extension for my VPN provider (Windscribe or VPNSecure, I have both) and double hop through that, typically it will get me around most websites VPN blocks.
The only jerks who still won't load are Etsy and TicketMaster, annoying.
So I use Mac eco system - I thought their Mac App was terrible. Compared to ProtoVPN - it was terrible. The fact I spent 1 hour on Chat help (again chat option is awesome - kudos to Nord) - had to test 10 different servers - and of the 10 - 6-7 WERE absolutely terrible. Sometime Download/Upload failed miserably. I haven't experienced this with Proton or VPNSecure. I guess different issues different places. This is the issue - no way to test speeds without paying for the opportunity. suppose I can select 1 month plans and test a bunch - though I would hope reviews would give me a better understanding of what I'm buying. I agree most reviews are bought and paid for - so there's that.
I got a lifetime subscription on VPNSecure. Their support has been great. I haven't usually used the VPN much. They don't have many worldwide servers. Speeds can be cut in half - but it's an option for me.
I've been trying to setup OpenVPN. I have paid for a lifetime service with VPNSecure. I down loaded opvn profiles - but when I try to activate - it just spins. I have a support request from VPN Secure. I will test and get back to you once it works.
I used a lot of different providers on my Formuler Z10 Pro Max and every one of them failed. I get buffering with each one. Streaming 4K content makes it worst. Looks like the box is not strong enough to efficiently manage both the VPN encryption and 4K decoding.
With a VPN router in between the modem and the Formuler, I get better success.
I really hope getting the BEST Formuler would prevent these buffering, but no. :/
I tested :
So from what I've read on Mac is that it can share the VPN as long as you use the built in functionality. I also saw a page that VPNSecure has access to port forwarding. Assuming I connect my computer's adhoc to VPN, would it be ready to go from there?
I use on my Amazon firestick. I downloaded the vpnsecure apk file using downloader program and sideloaded the app. I could logon to this VPN server and connect to a US server.
But the problem with VPN is that Amazon Prime and Netflix channels detected the VPN and stopped running with an error message. But Pluto TV was working perfectly. Most of the commercial VPN services fail for this reason.
The best solution will be to have an OpenVPN server at your family or friend's home back in US using a raspberry pi or a linux client and connect to it from wherever you are. Then all the apps work perfectly. I did the same by having a raspberry pi OpenVPN server in my son's home in PA.
Weird thing, but good call on the VPN being the likely culprit. I grabbed lifetime deals for both ProXPN and VPNSecure a while back, and ProXPN's client is a little troubling. Testing it over and over does have QBittorrent still showing my real IP in the leak testing sites when configured to supposedly only work through the VPN's interface but while the VPN is disconnected. When I configure it for VPNSecure's interface, it does exactly what it should do. Nothing is leaked while I'm disconnected but only the VPN's IP address shows up while connected. I won't be using ProXPN for bittorrenting. Or maybe more testing is in order, maybe configuring the VPN without the client and see if it makes a difference. Thank you for your help, and for the great post.
So I asked, this is what they said: "You can uncheck the 'Leak Fix' in the VPNSecure application under Menu --> Settings and then manually assign the DNS to your main network adapter. You can obtain the list of Smarter DNS server IP's in the members area under the Smarter DNS section."
I looked up the DNS server from my country and manually assigned it to the corresponding adapter. That resulted in this (exposing my actual ISP):
My connection also 'feels' slower now, although in a speedtest it's actually a bit faster... weird
So explain to me please, is this bad?

I've used Heimdal for 4 years without issue and have purchased through StackSocial as well.
As for StackSocial, most people don't even know the site exists but I've seen tons of software that still exists from them. Glasswire and VPNSecure just to name a couple. That's them just trying to build a client base.
Not to mention the exploit was taken care of immediately when they were made aware. If people are going to be overly critical of exploits then you shouldn't use Android, Mac, or Windows because it's the nature of the industry. The problem would be if they refused to address the issue.
Heimdal has had some of the best support I've ever interacted with.
Hey u/ohapplecherry
Please don't use a free VPN, the massive scams that are starting to get to the surface.
If you don't want to use a paying VPN that's fine for a one time use, you can try Tunnelbear's free section or 's free program, just don't use a "FREE" vpn.
Cheerio!

I'm having the same issue
I can use PIA and VPNSecure while using the vanila OpenVPN GUI App but it won't work at all with NordVPN.
I'm able to connect but the moment it is connected all traffic dies.
I can ping the gateway IP but nothing else.
what's more odd is that, from time to time I'm able to navigate for a few seconds.. but very then it dies again.
nothing works.. I've tried to use their regular win10 client and no luck.
I'm using Win10 1803
No, I'm from Brazil and my work's ISP is a local one.
I noticed it doesn't reconizes me as being in Brazil when I open the app and lists the Brazil's severs as over 1k miles from me and suggests using obfuscated servers.
the issue is: there are none in brazil, so if I try to use them I'll be at a loss of speed when that's not my point at that moment (I just want to use the Brazil's regular gateway instead of a obfuscated one).
Honestly I gave up and resubbed for PIA. No issues there anywhere I tried.
I also have a subscription for VPNSecure and it works without issues.
i read that PIA was have kids, so have to watch the bottom line (and my consistently bottom-dwelling team - oh snap the SF Giants got us this year....shocking)
does VPNSecure check out in your book? any security or privacy concerns? for $25 for lifetime makes me think they might go belly up sooner than later
I've been using (based in Queensland) since StackSocial had a sale on a lifetime subscription. It has a decent amount of servers and the speed hasn't been too bad. There are probably better options, but it's been working well enough for me.
Yes, Revolut still works as the international method. Havent used anything else personally.
Also, I think a lot of the people who had mixed success is when they used to go via Panama and all the other 'pretend' Argentina ones, but Vietnam through VPNSecure for me has been 100% (with Revolut).
But yes, Russia is close on most fronts and for the ease of credit, is a super easy option! (Especially as like you said, its a massive saving on UK/RRP).
Glad someone else is happy saving a fortune... Seems to have sunk like a brick on here - as has my thread asking questions about why theres no mention that its an early access/free to play 2018 thing.
People are so fical haha
i'll need to give the VPNSecure method a try for another game, I just can't be bothered to set it up haha.
Yeah its a shame none of my friends are willing to gameshare because the saving would be even bigger splitting the cost with someone else.
also the model epic seems to be going with this does seem strange, i'd understand if it was PC only while it is early access while paying a little for it (like most early access games), then releasing on console with a p2w/f2p model in 2018. It just seems strange having multiple editions before the game is even "released". At least there should be a decent amount of content/updates to come with the money they make from sales.
Thank you for this. I appreciate the interweb's hesitancy to use the products, but it seems like the technician, or whomever you spoke with, knew what was up.
However, I am nervous about VPNSecure's tendency to advertise where other, sketchier VPNs are being advertised.
It didn't go so well as I had an error while connecting even after putting all the ovpn and cert files in the config folder.
In the meantime, I got an email back from VPNSecure advising that this could happen if the PC goes to sleep/hibernation. I was provided with a beta version which has supposedly fixed this issue:
I've been using VPNSecure for the last few weeks and never encountered your first issue. What encryption settings are you using? Are you sure you haven't configured the client to tunnel only specific traffic through the VPN? Have you restarted the browser after connecting to the VPN? Have you tried using OpenVPN instead of their client?
As for the second issue, I encountered it when I turned on DNS Leak Prevention in the settings of their client. Turning the setting off fixed the issue. If you're worried about DNS leaks just use DNSCrypt instead and never ever use your ISP's DNS anywhere.
P.S.
If anyone is interested in a full review of VPNSecure, I could write one.
College student that wants to use a VPN strictly for torrenting. The internet here is a fair speed (100/100), but torrents are completely blocked (for example, I can browse torrenting sites, but even from private tracker sites, I can't download the torrent file, as it doesn't load at all and gets stuck).
Also, changing DNS settings at all prevents any connection, as I still have to use the college DNS to be able to access the internet.
I do use and the OpenVPN client works and lets me download torrents, but it's pretty slow (~30/30).
I am just wondering if there's anything that'll let me download and upload faster. A trial period would be nice to ensure that I can actually connect to the internet, and nothing too expensive would be greatly preferred.
you sound like you're affiliated with the company which seems to be a home business and run by one individual who lacks basic customer service and etiquette. VPNSecure speeds connected to Australian servers are ridiculously slow and at best, you might be luck enough to find one server that is not stupidly slow though. That's why they offer really cheap lifetime plans.
I'm also over in Grafenwoehr/Vilseck. I've used VPNSecure ever since I've been here with no problem. Been pretty good with streaming full HD netflix and no problems. Also they give you the openDNS IP which is a godsend if you use a streaming box like an AppleTV, XBox or Playstation as it lets you use the apps on those with their service.
I thought my setup was solid. I was using . I don't want to blame them, though, as I don't know what happened. They have great customer service, and they have a server located relatively close to me, which gave me great connection speeds.
Edit: I've looked into PIA but I live far from any of their servers, making for slow speeds.
Sorry man, stupid time limit on posts.
Try relogging, make sure VPN is working? I added my key to origin, logged out, started VPN and logged back in and it downloaded for me.
I'm using also
Other than that, I'm not sure.
How to unlock ME3 early
will be updating this page regularly, starting up extra USA based servers specific for ME3 unlocking & offering discount codes closer to launch. We're also doing up a nice landing page with a countdown later today :)
I suggest trying out VPNSecure before sending it your way.
I use it to listen to Pandora and to watch Netflix/Hulu. I never have issues with speed or bandwidth, and their customer service is excellent. I've been a subscriber for a month now, and I'm probably going to keep subscribing for the whole time I'm in Korea.
Edit:* Other people also suggest StrongVPN. Go for whichever you like best.
Good to see some more mainstream coverage of Autism. I'm trying to learn as much as possible, with my freshly diagnosed 3yo daughter just about to start ABA therapy...
Worldwide users can get an Aussie IP using a VPN like .
>For those waiting on VPNSecure because of the Empty Zip error, it has to do with a file they send you when you sign up. I'm sure the volume of people trying to get on is causing their mailserver to die. I'm in queue to find out when I'll be getting it.

Anyone able to get on the VPNSecure Australia servers? I was in the game at the character select screen and logged off the network so my brother could hook his up... now I'm no longer able to connect... FML.
EDIT: Able to connect to Australia 2 as of 10:30 am pst. Give it a try.
I'm posting this because I'm curious what the hidemind thinks about using VPN services to bypass geoblocking on streaming media services. I realise this has been possible for a long time, but the new McTiVia & VPNSecure partnership is bringing the idea to a new mainstream crowd via Harvey Norman that may have never heard of the concept before..
Is it legal ? Is it morally acceptable ? Do you care? Share your thoughts please ಠ_ಠ

I got your trial service to download Skyrim and I have to say, I am absolutely thrilled with the amount of support and tolerance from the site. You guys are doing a great job, I will definitely be using VPNSecure for my future VPN services.
Great job!
