This is a discussion, and criticism is a part of that, however, I went through art school, and work in an artistic career, and a crucial tool in learning how to make "better" art is getting and giving detailed critiques that offer explanations for WHY something is failing or succeeding, instead of just stating that it is good or bad.
So, for instance:
> massive dip in quality.
What do you mean by this? My guess is that you don't exactly mean quality as in it being poorly written, acted, structured, etc, but that you aren't laughing, so something is wrong with the humor. Something about the writing isn't making you laugh.
So, let's try to pin down what it is that you used to like about the show.
As a total aside, if you've never read "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance", it's kind of related to this topic. It takes deep, perhaps overly so, dives into what we mean when we discuss the idea of "quality", and how it relates to all of our experiences, from relationships and love to machines and consumer products. Quote from it: > “The test of the machine is the satisfaction it gives you. There isn't any other test. If the machine produces tranquility, it's right. If it disturbs you, it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed.”
Yes, every single throwaway gag in every single animated sitcom is a very serious attempt to establish canon forever and ever. That's what media subreddits have taught me, anyhow.
EDIT: No offense to OP intended! I realized I was being a little grumpy about this. I'm just getting tired in general of fans hatching theories about shows based on random pattern-matching. Yeah, we've gotten some amazing and indisputably real easter eggs, but I really think 90% of what happens in a show like Archer is more about trying to make the audience laugh than filling in every tiny shred of backstory. We really gotta look at this stuff with a healthy sense of irony.
The Igor theory isn't by far the worst I've heard... :) But it still feels a little far-fetched to me, since "Igor" already makes perfect sense as a snarky throwaway line... and what the hell would a Veddy English fellow like Woodhouse be doing with a name like "Igor" anyhow?! If it was that important to Adam, wouldn't he have thrown something Eastern European into Woodhouse's background too?
I dunno. Maybe it's just me. I've been a little traumatized ever since the goddamn Viking thread.
We don't use Flash very much for Archer actually. Archer is primarily done by drawing everything in Adobe Illustrator and then animating it in After Effects.
Flash gets used every once in a while for like, fist fight scenes, where each frame needs to be a new drawing, because of how fast and dynamic the motion is. But if any frames can get reused, and the pace is relatively slow, than it's all done with AI and AE.
Though this IS likely, we have yet to get any internal confirmation of this. So, party, but just not too hard, or too soon.
These are approximations of coarse, but yes Krieger is the tallest person in the office, at somewhere around 6' 2'' (that is how tall the staff member is who usually poses for him, who can be seen here.)
Archer is the second tallest, right around 6 foot.
Lana (with the heels that she never takes off) is slightly shorter, and is about the same height as Cyril.
Pam, Malory and Cheryl are all about the same height.
Calzado: And so begins the hunt for the most dangerous game
Cyril: Vayaaaa
From context, I took it to loosely translate to "leggooo" but yeah, he says Vaya.
I use ExpressVPN to watch US netflix from Uk. It also allows me to access other sites that are blocked in the UK (warez-bb) and I can't fault it!
It does cost, so depends if it's worth it to you.
Edit: it still works with Netflix, but only certain servers - if you ask their customer support they are super helpful and will tell you exactly which ones to use
People mentioned Private Internet Access as a paid VPN and Zen Mate as a free one. I'm not recommending either as they could be doing the exact same as Hola, but people seem to like them more. Or just google "archer season X episode Y online" most episodes are on dailymotion and such.
It's a nice, little, exploration game for Android. Thought you guys might appreciate it.
Here's the link if anyone's interested :

>Start with a bottle of brown booze, hopefully Scotch
A lot of blogs are talking about it, but none of them are linking to any official press releases or statements, and we haven't gotten any word internally, so right now, it's still not quite in the bag. It's close, and very likely, but not official.
EDIT: NOW it's Official.
I got it off their website about a year ago.
And here it is for all of you!
It's an .m4r file for iPhones, but the audio can be used for most phones if you know what you're doing.
Either he's a very obscure composer, or a popular composer writing under a pseudonym. I found this review:
"Betty Page doesn't play a note. She's nowhere on the album, except for a generous and creepy selection of pinup photos that take the place of any liner notes. Too bad, since their absence only undercuts the legitimacy of these weird and jazzy songs, supposedly taken from soundtracks that the B-movie starlet appeared in. All the same, there's a half-dozen whips that still crack, worth the price of admission. More than likely, several accomplished composers are actually slinking around here, writing under aliases like Roger Roger, whose "Sidewalk Blues" is a stereotype of slow-burn, private eye cigarettes. Malcolm Lockyer has the dubious honor of opening the disc with the edgy cat-fight excess of "Teledrama," and then later with the race-car horn-section ultimatum of "Tearaway Brass." Eric Delaney's "Driving Drums" swings with horns and vibes chugging through the melody, and Mel Young's "The Dark Room" is a bachelor's quintessential "cheeze cocktail" that may be a bit watered-down even as it gets lucky in the boudoir. Exploring all these reissue nooks and crannies, the German record label Q.D.K. Media aims to uncover a dusty treasure chest of music, but Betty Page: Danger Girl Burlesque Music frequently comes off sounding like a flea-market crate. Fun the first time through, but disposable."

Private Internet Access is pretty solid. Lots of good criticism and hardly any negative stuff. It's hard to say if they're selling our info, but I think its safe. At least its better than Hola, which actually affects your own network as opposed to just selling info.
102073 is the number of attacks required on the Algersoft attack page. If you google "102073 germany" the second link leads to a book entitled "Hitler's Man in Havana." I've figured out so far that the number 102073 relates to an entry in a politcal archival office in Germany but I don't speak German so I'm not quite sure what it all means. Any thoughts?
If you prepare ahead of time, you can actually have the booze in the gummies. I realize this is a heresy to alcoholism, but it's one I have found enjoyable.
Its on the special features of the season 1 dvd set.
Piracy is at the very least kinda rude to the makers of the show that post here, so this is all you will get.
Solely for watching Netflix? Unblock-Us is the way to go. $5/month, super easy to switch back and forth between regions, and you can make it work through your router which means every device on the network can watch it unblocked.
General VPN? Private Internet Access hands down. No logs, $7/month, high speeds, and great support. It's what pretty much everyone in the IT Security business uses.

Caucasian refers to the region around the Caucasus mountains.
African-American was very much an invented term, but one made in an effort to be less racist, not more. It was the least offensive solution after "Afro-American" was no longer considered an acceptable term, which was invented after "Negro" was found offensive. It would seem they may have started talking to actual black people about how these terms made them feel sometime in the '60s. It's an awkward effort in the continuing saga of racial awkwardness in America, which seems a logical reaction when you have a race that was brutally oppressed trying to integrate with their oppressors.
As for Stringer Bell, the term can apply to anyone of African genetic origin who is a resident of the US, so he could choose to use that if he wished. I'd call him Mr. Elba, but he can identify however he wants. All of the names are stupid, but humanity seems to cling desperately to categorization and patterns.
It's why I kind of like the idea of not capitalizing black or white, regardless of grammar. It just feels like it's feeding the idea that it's the most important thing you could write about that person or the best way to identify anybody. It should carry the same weight as other adjectives and be regarded as equally as interesting or uninteresting as being tall, creative, or clumsy.
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called The Boys from Brazil, here's some Trailers
It depends on where you live. If you live in the United States you can watch it through either FX's website or Hulu. Although there are illegal ways like torrents, or streaming sites.
Hmm, never heard about this pilot. I always assumed ep1 was the original pilot.
Anyhoozle, I think this might be it, not entirely sure because I don't have the time to watch it yet.
Edit: Oh, I get it now. It's the same episode with a raptor instead of Archer.
Huh.
Thank you! I've been trying to find more scoring work but most modes of media distribution is visually oriented these days. To make my videos more unique, I wrote code in processing which is a form of java specifically created for artists. It's open source and there are tons of tutorials out there if you're interested in diving in. I've also played around with Jitter in the past (patching environment), but being able to get down and dirty with actual code allows me to control more details (creative OCD that comes from too many years of music study). There's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get past the initial hump your imagination is really the only limit.
You can learn more about processing here
Recently I wrote some music more influenced by 80's horror and witch house. This is visualized using the same basic code, but I wrote a new animation module. Initially I'd hoped to promote my scoring services with these videos, but I think it's backfiring as there seems to be more interest in the animations than the sound they were made to accompany. That's life I guess :-/
I think you might need this: (Amazon link to perfect outfit). (Image for those who don't want to click)
here but maybe you have to change the location
It knows the ip addresses of some VPN and blocks the ones it knows. You just have to keep trying till you find a location that works. If you have a free VPN, it's not going to work. I recommend ExpressVPN.
I don't know really. I read a ton of article last month about Netflix starting to fight aggressively Smartflix, proxies and VPN. So far Smartflix and VPNs works perfectly for me in France.
So it's probably a combination of those:
1) Netflix says they fight VPN and proxies because the copyright holders want them to. Even though Netflix would rather not hunt for VPN users because they represent quite a lot of money.
2) Netflix does block some VPN and mine isn't in the list so I'm oblivious how difficult it might be for other users.
3) Netflix doesn't block anything at all and it's just a PR move to calm down the copyright holders.
I don't know. You should try yourself.
PS: My VPN is NordVPN. I do see the available TV series change completly everytime I change the country of destination of the VPN. So I guess it works. Smartflix does the same thing except I somehow get all the countries catalogs in one single page which is neat. And also provides IMDB rating...
It cannot be better than Sun Tzu's "The Art of War", can it?
Because I love "The Art of War".
Non-violent confrontation sounds more chill, though. My curiosity has piqued for that book now.
*edit: That book also sounds like "Social Engineering 101" ;-)
I mean, you can get anyone to agree with you on practically anything if you just convince them. All it takes is endless relentlessness.
Okay, as requested.

A theory: All the pig photos are 16 color gifs. They have a color palette available in the file. So I fired up IRfanview ( http://www.irfanview.com/ ) and got the color info by Image | Palette > Export Palette. Open up that text file and you will see 16 lines of 3 numbers. They are R(ed) G(reen) B(lue) and are decimal codes for those values. This tells us diddly. So hexify it. Now it looks more like a Hash value, eh?
So 16*16 gives us 256-bit value. But wait - we have more than that in each palette. Not if we pare it down. Green is the color, correct? Take only the middle value G(reen) in each tuple. Now we have a 256-bit Hex IF we use two values together.
FORTY THREE. SEVENTY FOUR. ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN. ONE HUNDRED NINETEEN.
And after all this - squat. I tried PIG_040 and PIG_003 and came up with 00ffa3c0e1ceb28f6f293c4f8f4f796300ff5c276f15879ce0cb9d637db43849 At http://md5hashing.net/ it came up with a big nothing burger. BUT that site does not have as someone pointed out upthread AES-256. So have at it if you wish to follow my hairbrained scheme.
And if you have followed me this far, open up forty four a.png (the crossword at top of page link called GRID) in IRfanview. Press F3 (Hex view), scroll down a bit and look for the Photoshop Layers bits. Yes, it is known info but another way of getting at it. (As another aside, I was so excited to see PIG_098 was another 256 color gif and wondered what secrets awaited. Sad to see it was just a mistake!) Have at it, I am going to bed.
Season 2
Episode 1
Swiss Miss
Appears at 20:09
Though I don't know about the strapon, they didn't go into that deep of detail, however Green Russians were implicated so anything is a possibility.
looks like it was original. made on a drum machine.
it does have a sample, but it looks like it's just the dude saying "poison" over and over
According to this ( http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/31ni52/we_are_mark_paterson_tim_farrell_archer_animators/cq49oi2 ), the password for the zip should take 84 sextillion years to brute force. This password analysis website ( https://howsecureismypassword.net/ ) says that a random string of numbers, lower case letters, and spaces 23 characters long should take precisely that amount of time. I hope this helps.
Install Watched on your phone, and put the code , also remember to install SuperVPN to change your ip address to US. Im in Asia and I do this. Not only Archer, u can watch any latest episodes of any shows from US. Hehe.
You're not being downvoted because it doesn't work, or because of any IP stuff, it's because Hola has security issues that everyone should be aware of:
If that doesn't convince you, a quick google search will bring up a few pages of articles and warnings about it (at least, it did for me).
If you really want to keep using it, it's your decision, but otherwise I would reccommend Zenmate for another free unblocker extension. No issues that I know of and it works well for me.
Well crap. Sorry for misrepresenting the situation.
I must admit, my working knowledge of how the industry works, and how it came to be, is based on what I saw in King Corn.
If you haven't seen it, they grow an acre of corn, and at the end of the harvest, they go to sell the corn, and don't actually make enough off it, to pay for their growing costs. The only reason they were able to turn any profit at all on the acre of corn they grew, was inclusion of the corn subsidies. Otherwise, they would have been in debt.
Beyond that presentation of the problem, I am relatively ignorant.
As for Season 1 TIPS, I have contemplated the idea. But, there just isn't much material to work with. Archer carries a lot of whiskey around, which was covered, and otherwise, there aren't a lot of references. I'll definitely go back and take a look again during the off season, and see if I can come up with something. I'm about to have 7 weeks of time to kill, so I'll try and use it wisely.
But only one is “written” by Sterling (with a foreword by Malory, promising her memoirs will dwarf Sterling’s book sales.)
The other is just a cool collection of art and behind the scenes tidbits. I highly recommend them both. And if you like drinking, Sterling gives you the recipes to all his favorite cocktails.
oh, i thought the link was right and this was some sort of cyriptic joke. Here's what i got BTW
It's still on the archer soundboard that you can download.
YYZ is the transmitter code for Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport. Every airport is assigned a unique 3 letter code, and that code is always being transmitted so that pilots can tell, roughly, where they are and verify that their navigational radios are tuned properly. These codes are also written on your luggage tags when you fly. The intro to the song is Morse code for "YYZ."
>Early on in the film, the lyrics to the first stanza of the chorus were changed slightly to "Westbound and down, eighteen wheels a'rollin'" in keeping with the "Greek Chorus" theme of the song telling the story.
Haha, I just googled the quote (to find out what episode it was) and there's a translation for that literal sentence on reverso. There must be an Archer Superfan editing there LMAO
https://context.reverso.net/translation/french-english/Approchez-vous+et+touchez
There should be some free ones - I use CyberGhost. It disguises your IP address so you can set it to the US and when you log into hulu it will give you the shows available here. It's an all around good security measure to have, PM me if you have questions!

first item I found in Amazon just Google eye patch, there are tons of them and the black ones mostly look like the one from sterling
Updating this to say that Archer Season 5 is now available for purchase in iTunes (iTunes link to HD version), and S05E01 "White Elephant" is available in Amazon Instant Video, in addition to the aforementioned Google Play option.
At least in the USofA.

As I posted in a thread on /r/baseball just yesterday...
> Unlocator (the paid service) is safe from this, it's really just the "free" public VPN that causes issues. Unlocator opens up DNS routing to a specified location based on your own IP, but doesn't funnel traffic through your own IP.
I have Blockless, which is alright. I can switch between Canada, US, UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Panama, Brazil. Works on any platform, so you can watch on TV with a playstation or xbox!
UnblockUs is very similar and works the exact same way too.

You win the thread. Jeeves and Wooster is the best reading anyone will ever do.
Also, it was a BBC series starring Hugh Laurie (House) and Stephen Fry (if you don't know who Stephen Fry is, I'm sorry for you) - maybe the greatest TV series ever.
/I like P.G. Wodehouse a lot, if that wasn't clear.
I feel man. I have had some really bad hearing damage as a drummer. I use these now. They cut the sound but don't make it super muddy like the spongy kinds do. Its been said that hearing loss will be this generations cigarettes.
Sorry to keep serious-upping this thread. I do love Archer and hate to distract. But I suffered from this for so freaking long.
I have had 10 different sound machines. For me, the worst part of all of them is that they can repeat predictably.
If tinnitus is only one of many issues that keep you up, you know that hearing a predictable drip, tick, or anything that makes you anticipate the next sound can also keep you from drifting off.
This one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EREC7VA/?tag=eternalflame-20 has no discernible cycle, so it's been my favorite. And now that I'm beginning to snore a little (I know, I know, I keep bringing up my steady decline into crapulence), my wife likes it, too.
I agree with the comment below, if it's hot enough to melt the plastic, it's too hot to gently poach eggs anyway. But, if you're really concerned, you can also buy silicone egg poachers.
It comes as one of those model kits, obviously you'll need more time and you'll have to do a custom paint job.
With a couple subsitutions Taka http://www.amazon.com/Flying-Fish-Roe-Tobiko-Caviar/dp/B000R2GUJQ Minced truffle http://www.amazon.com/Minced-Black-Truffle-1-74-Ozs/dp/B007ZMD7NS/ref=pd_sim_sbs_325_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=15ZN6A71P4PYWJ6YY8Q4
So that is about $50 right there eggs, flower, cream, butter, artichoke, about another $30. So an $80 breakfast, not bad.
Depending on how much money you want to spend... get a pocket projector and have a video of Krieger's waifu queued up to play on a loop, then project it onto near by walls.
This could be big: Review picture in it has a piece of paper labelled m.strb.2
The wishlist of the user who posted it is a a book about passing the North American Securities Administrators Association exam and a Soviet Army hat
If you have enough people/disposable income, you could get all the alcohol(or closest approximation) that archer has drank over the series run, and make all the drinks he's made, or if you wannna go real nuts grab his book How to archer and use all of the drink recipes found within, but I have no idea how many that would entail as I only just learned his book was a real thing. Also make it a tactleneck occasion.
My mom's toaster has one. Amazon seems to sell one similar to it:
http://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KMT222OB-2-Slice-Toaster-High-Lift/dp/B003TSTOXO
It's as useful as you might think. The only problem with that toaster is the super loud beeping noise that it makes. Which isn't too bad if you throw some bread in and go into another room... But it can sound like a truck is backing up outside.
