You should check out my Sex Ed for Bi Guys series ((sexually-explicit version on Pillowfort / censored version on Tumblr), it's in big part the reason it exists. It talks about sex and dating with partners of various genders, and coming out and mental health when you're a bi guy (including dealing with internalized homophobia and biphobia).

And you're really not to only 30-year-old bi guy who's never done anything with another guy. I've chatted with plenty of people who only figured out or accepted their orientation in their 30s, 40s or older and are just starting to explore that side of their sexuality. I know it can feel like you missed out on a lot, but a lot of people find they're a happier person in their 30s than in their 20s, and it's surprising how much time you actually have to make up for it.

I'm really only aware of one book on the subject. It's kind of pricy, since it's an academic work not intended for popular reading.

The author did do an interview with Vice about the book, though, for a summary of some of the basic findings.

I've just started exploring being bi and it's confusing as fuck. One thing that helped was reading this article. I'm in a similar situation as you in only really thinking about sexually interacting with another man but not romantically right now.

Hey man, it's okay to be nervous if you've never hooked-up with a guy - we've all been there at some point. Does he know you've never done this? How comfortable do you feel with him (I guess it might be hard to tell if you've never met in person)? It's okay to try something uncomfortable that makes you nervous, but it should be with someone with whom you're comfortable, with whom you can talk, allow yourself to be vulnerable, and who you know will respect your pace and your boundaries.

My first time with a guy was terrible because we were both trashed and we had no fucking clue what we were doing. So do yourself a favor and don't do that. :P It's only a few years later that I had sex with a guy again, and this time it was much, much better, even though I was a nervous wreck and I was shaking like a leaf. He was a friend I was having over for a sleepover, and it took a lot just to get to the point of asking him if he was down (hence why I was so nervous) - and I was a bit startled when he enthusiastically said 'yeah, of course!' :P But it was a lot of fun: hugged naked, made out, swapped BJs, that sort of thing.

Hey man, I come from where you come from. There’s plenty of good theology out there that’s LGBT-positive. Here’s a really short read called “For The Bible Tells Me So” that gives a fifty-page-or-so rundown on why the Bible not only doesn’t really oppose LGBT folks but actually encourages their inclusion.

I understand where you are coming from, I first came out the closet as bisexual and later as gay, which I can attribute to the lack of representation, I've never felt more at my place that being bi (now at my 26yo) even when I look for a long term relationship with a man only since my sexual and romantic attraction only happens towards men and women only romantic. You asked an important question and what I can observe is that you are looking for validation externally (or an external solution), and that can only come from the inside, more precisely by changing your subconscious mind into a more positive framework for your existence, what happens out there would be completely unimportant as long as you are accepted and love from your unconscious mind. In doing such inner work is how I stopped permanently having the so called bi-cycle, now I understand myself, and I don't need other people to be a certain way to feel happy about my self . I've used since I was 21 Psych-K and the letting go (book) technique from David Hawkins.

if you actually want to have the conversation about nonmonagmy with your wife, i recommend the book Opening up (it talks about more forms of nonmonogamy than polyamory or swinging). It sounds like you broached this subject before, and it may have ways of talking about it that allow you and your wife to discuss shared expectatons/boundaries and ways that an open relationship to allow you to get some dick could work for you (not that it necessarily will end in that, but articulating your desires is better than repressing your feelings, which only grow resentments imo)

my girlfriend (primary partner) and i are both polyamorous and it's been working well so far. I also have a boyfriend who's in a nearby city and will date around when i'm not particularly busy (she's dating people too, and we do group stuff together). Polyamory is pretty great, but it's not for everyone; we went into the relationship knowing that neither of us wanted to be monogamous (in large part bc we're both bi) but converting an existing monogamous relationship to an nonmonogamous one can be a challenge. I've seen a lot of people do this without really having strong communication skills and ability to talk around boundaries, needs etc. and it cause a lot of heartbreak for all involved (including myself).

Opening up is a pretty good resource on open relationships. Also, polyamory is just one form of ethical nonmonogamy. "Having a stable relationship with a woman but hooking up with guys when you're craving men" isn't really polyamory.

I would ask her if she'd want to read opening up and talk about it with you. It's pretty comprehensive about this kind of thing and talking through potential issues/what it would look like etc. instead of you just winging it.
