Here is a steam download. https://store.steampowered.com/app/354140/?snr=1_702_4_
So it looks like 7.99 US, or 8.79 CAN.
"imscared" is a really spooky pixelated free indie for Windows. I got really pulled in by the atmosphere. It's definately not an Outlast or Amnesia in quality, but it's a fun little game!
Edit: It's best if you play this one without ANY prior knowledge about it.
Well, to be honest it's not super simple, but it's doable, and you can find a lot of support on the official forum. Essentially you need a copy of the .iso of the Japanese version of the games, and apply the English translation patch. The you need to grab the PS2 emulator from here http://pcsx2.net/download/development/git.html , and set it up. Oh and you need a bios for the emulator. Once you got all that, go on the forum and check the guide on the emulated PS2 HDD, so you can install the .iso on your computer's hard drive and the loading times in the game will be much faster and there will be less problems with the game's stability in general. You can also increase the game's internal resolution and apply a 16:9 widescreen patch, and in the end it looks beautiful! You can see some of our screenshots here for reference.
From the dev:
> You will need to download an Emulator to run Deadeus. For PC I recommend BGB Emulator (http://bgb.bircd.org/) and for Android devices I recommend MyBoy! Emulator. When you have downloaded your emulator load your zipped Deadeus folder and enjoy!
The Redream emulator works wonderfully, it's free if you are ok with 1080p(already way higher than native Dreamcast) but costs $5 for the full version that can do 4K.
Also, I HIGHLY recommend Illbleed if you haven't played it, it was the game the developer made after Blue Stinger, and it is a 1 of a kind.
Well, there's The House (Android), which seems pretty good, but I haven't actually managed to get very far because I can't seem to avoid the monsters at all.
There's also DERE.EXE, but I have trouble recommending that one. The controls are bad, the way momentum works is terrible and checkpoints simply don't work sometimes. I'm convinced that this stuff is on purpose because it causes you to die more often, and the app shows ads when you die, with a 10-20 second videoad every few deaths.
I'm currently developing an augmented reality zombie shooter that I could put a video up about if that's appropriate?
It's nowhere near finished, but I think it's pretty cool.
I also have a CYOA text adventure game set at the beginning of a zombie outbreak. Would this be the kind of stuff you're looking for?
Just to be clear, these aren't "real" games, like Little Nightmares or Emily Wants To Play.
I think you forgot the 'l' at the end of HTML. http://www.macworld.com/article/2886387/you-should-play-dark-echo.html
Looks like a cool game! Too bad its not on android.
Edit: It is on android! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rac7.DarkEcho
https://www.moddb.com/mods/resident-evil-mortal-night/downloads
>Mortal Night is a mod for Resident Evil 2 Sourcenext that adds a completely new story and radically changes the gameplay by adding new mechanics. The latest version, REbirth edition, is no longer standalone, but it enhances the experience even more and brings you the possibility of playing in areas from other classic Resident Evil titles.
>Now randomization has been included, which means that items, enemies, door locks and cutscenes will vary (slightly or greatly) every time you start a new playthrough. In addition to this, the order in which you go to the different areas and the choices you make will also affect the story and gameplay. "Replayable" is the perfect adjective for this mod.
>This is a must-play for any fan of classic Resident Evil games. Right now only the first episode (2-3 hours long) is available for this updated version, but episodes 2 and 3 are being worked on, and they will bring even more novelties.
The sequel is all about aliens trying to sneak up on you, it's literally the core mechanic.
The bad news is that it's a mobile game :-(

I had no idea there was even a physical release. I'm tempted to grab it. I have played it. It's an underrated classic.
There's one on <strong>Amazon for $53</strong>

That's for Secure Containment Breach, love this game religiously on PC.
Dead By Daylight - if you consider multiplayer as well
Dungeon Nightmares I & II - Great indie game
Eyes - it's a free indie horror game that's very quick straight to the point, more slender style.
There's the "Bundle of the Damned" from Groupees that is currently up. I donated some music and a game to this, myself. (Charity is "Scares That Care!")
I would suggest Sluggish Morss, but it's not a full-length offering, and I don't think it is going to 100% scratch the itch your describing (I've got that same itch).

Also, I've never played it, but the PS2/PS3 game Deadly Premonition is very David Lynch inspired from what I understand.
And some people really seem to like Frog Fractions.
I was playing Evil nun scary horror game adventure on mobile. I really enjoy this game. If you wanna feel like a hero and rescue children from Evil nun's laundry, solve the puzzles, this game is for you. Link for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keplerians.evilnun
That is a good question. I'm not a marketing person, but from my experience, I'd be interested regardless of the region.
Take a look at Metro: Last Light, a series that has success in the West.
Or maybe a description of Fatal Frame, another once popular horror series.
Those descriptions have unfamiliar terms and non-Western names, but were still successful.
For your product description, replacing "Qing" with "Chinese" is a good choice, but I think "Qing" raises curiosity. I would personally keep Yang's name throughout. Does the story have dialogue from Yang or mention his name?
Don't know. Maybe this can explain: "Cryostasis was originally released in February, 2009 and was only added to Steam in 2012, and was then removed less than a year later. While there was no announcement from Steam, nor the Developer, nor the Publisher, community response suggests it was removed after a dispute to the rights between the Publisher (1C) and Developers (Action Forms)." According to 1C forum "All digital versions were taken down (it's even off the 1C digital store, which gives credence to the theory of them losing the IP rights)" Well, that means if you wish to play it you have to get copy on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Cryostasis-PC/dp/B001D7798A) or became Jack Sparrow hehehe
