speaking as someone who isnt pregnant, i'd be a bit miffed about the 10 dollars wasted and probably at least half an hour of frustration that went into setting up the balloon.
as someone who has been pregnant, if i spent any amount of time or money and it was even slightly messed up, i would be sobbing hysterically on the lawn for at least a few minutes.
They brought it back, but I feel your pain.
Edit: all I know is that I went on after I got the news late as usual, and they had seemingly masked all the vids, pics, dicks 'n' chicks with NSFW overlays.
Also, y'all should read this. I haven't, but it's a step in the right direction judging by some of your pm's.

Funnily enough, the side of the brain we use to see things in our head is also the shittiest at drawing.

Very much agree. This kid isn’t “FuckingStupid,” she has some form of ADHD.
Honestly, even if the parent/child choose not to go the medication route (a good choice), it’s so helpful to have the diagnosis to get rid of the guilt and shame. Just knowing that “focusing” is going to be a primary challenge, even though most people can do it without trying, is a huge help. Having the freedom to accept that the “easy stuff” isn’t going to be easy is life changing in a good way.
I would not have wanted to be medicated, but if someone had taught me in middle school how to use something like Getting Things Done, I think it would have been a huge help to me in College and my early professional years. I do OK now, but I wish I’d spent my teens developing reasonable planning habits, none of that “put the date the huge project is due into your planner on that date!” bullshit that helps nobody.
Second big change: make sure the physical environment is geared toward an ADHDer. This book is a fucking godsend: https://www.amazon.com/Organizing-Solutions-People-Revised-Updated/dp/1592335128. Seriously, it is just the best. Rule number one: ease of stowage trumps ease of retrieval. Bear that one thing in mind when organizing and planning physical spaces, and 70% of the frustrations of day-to-day life with ADHD just go away.
I think the next change, to the “ADHD” diagnosis will be to add the slash into the acronym (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder for AD/HD) because hyperactivity is not always present. The next change will be getting rid of that last D, because it’s not a disorder so much as a difference that those who have it need to take into account.
I’m honestly not sure if we aren’t in our own way more suited to life in Consumer Culture and Attention Economy land. At least we feel the pain and anxiety right away rather than “powering through it” and bottling it up.
Crazy thing is, it seems like the guy recovered from that.
Hey, try this out. We got a pair of these things off Amazon where they're this bungee cord thing attached to wrist straps. You put one end on your wrist and the other on your kid's
It alleviates the stigma of a leash and feeling like you literally control your kid the way you do a dog
It gives them freedom to run around and explore
And the best part is, since it's stretchy you can use it to guide them along when they start to wander, without HAVING to forcibly tug on it and physically force them to go your direction.
But it's also sturdy so like if they start to run to the street, you CAN physically hold them back.
It's really great, and any time we're out we get comments from parents about how great it is and where we got it.
I'll try to find a link and edit it in.

Yes, it (kind of) is. It's a novelty empty box you can use as surprise packaging for those special obligatory Sister's kid's birthdays, stuff like that. Well worth it to see the adults eyes light up with surprise when the kiddie tears off the wrapping paper. :)
My niece was so uh, excited? when I gave it to her 2 year old. Sadly, I had just put coloring books and crayons inside.
nope. The review was posted on a less popular game "Crowd City". Here you start with 1 pirson in a city with neutral crowd, and convert them to your side by touching them. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.voodoo.crowdcity
It reminds me of those cereal candles that look like THIS (not promoting this, just first Google hit)
It attaches to the net and it goes around the top of the trampoline. It's basically just a plastic hose that wraps all the way around and sprays water on the inside from the top down.
ZERO AUDIO-Ear Stereo Headphone Carbo Tenore have been my go to budget earbuds for the last 2~ years. Sony are alright but you honestly do pay a fair bit for their name and better quality ones are available for cheaper in my experience.
If you're going budget wireless the market changes a ton. Super budget is kind of a mix match of whatever is on sale, sub 100 dollars you can regularly find buds+ on sale which are my go to recommendations for TWS, or midrange Ankers are pretty good if you don't need TWS

Jeeves is HTML.
The ? Is a human construct. Computers process bits and bytes and the early search engines such as askjeeves would have been prone to providing wonky results because an "operator" was expected (AND or NOT) due to a string query (?) being introduced at the end.

Check out the wiki on Tim berners Lee for the origin of HTML in 1989ish. Literally the backbone of our entire digital world!

For real. A lot of those fast food places have tons of sugar in things you wouldn't even think of. For example, here's the nutrition facts for a McDonalds hamburger bun:
https://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/mcdonalds/hamburger-bun
And here's a consumer product that's almost identical:
https://ballparkbuns.com/product/hamburger-buns
The consumer one has 3g of sugar, versus the McDonald's one with 5g of sugar. And like.. I found the least healthy ones I could compare-- those are the consumer equivalent of McDonald's burger buns.
Hmm. In that case, you can try first threatening him by telling him there will be no cartoons for one evening if he does it and then actually following through if he does it one time after that by just not letting him watch anything on the TV one evening at a time. I do remember that working with me and my brother one time when we were getting on my dad's nerves when arguing what words the intro song of some show said. He sentenced us to 2 hours without the TV and we knew full well that it was our fault and that we can prevent punishments like that one. If you haven't already, try buying him something like a darts board but with balls that stick to it instead or some other toy that would satisfy his urges.

Was just at a party for a 6 yr old and things were mostly fine. Parent figured it was q good way to have a party and make sure people stayed socially distant. I was surprised how much they sting. The tips have a hard plastic which I don't believe they had when I was a kid. Definitely helps with the range. But don't trust 6 yr olds to follow the don't aim for the face rule.

Columbia Sportswear and Underarmour both have reasonably priced UPF rated clothing lines. You can get their stuff from Amazon, SportChek or Atmosphere, etc.
You can also check out the list from the Skin Cancer Foundation of brands that have gotten their approval. Anything approved by them has a little badge on it somewhere. Not having the badge doesn't mean the item doesn't pass their standards or block UV rays, but you have no way of knowing for sure.
There are a couple of stupidly expensive brands like Coolibar, which makes beach clothing and stuff but I'm not going to pay $200 for a fucking beach wrap lol
For hiking I wear a long sleeved UPF Columbia top and long pants and a UPF rated cap from Underarmour. At the beach and when I'm camping and stuff I mostly just try to stay in the shade haha but I also have a long sleeved rashguard I'll throw on top of my swimsuit sometimes. You can find those at pretty much any store or website that sells watersports stuff.
Rash guards and fishing shirts are a good bet if you want something with good coverage that will work well at the beach (where you are presumably getting wet). You fan even find some with hoods to keep your neck safe. One of my hiking shirts has a hood but I had to go searching super hard for it and the only place I was able to find one was Amazon. Some years ago, in my neighborhood, there was a 2-year-old who stole the car keys from his parents' dresser while they were asleep and took the family car for a joyride. Yes, a two-year-old.

It attaches to the door and jamb with adhesive, so no holes for landlord to complain about. Sets off an alarm if the door is opened. I can't endorse the particular one I linked to; it's just the first one that came in a search for "door alarm."
Edit: Sorry, I just looked it up. The kid was 3 when he took the car for a joyride. He said, "I go zoom!" A month later he burned down his parents' house.

When I was a horny teenager to get around curfew I bought a fire escape ladder for the window of my bedroom on the second story.
About four steps down the ladder I looked down and I learned I was very afraid of heights, my legs started shaking uncontrollably. That wasn't about to stop me though, I kept climbing down until my terrified flailing body was banging against our back windows.
Naturally my dad met me outside with a shotgun thinking I was an intruder. He then felt so bad for me by the time he got me down that the only real punishment was just some lawn work and a lot of bringing it up at every family event.

Hi everyone, I am a children's book author and just published a book called " Trapped Emotions". It is a simple little story for kids ages 3-10 to help them normalize and better understand their emotions. It also teaches them the importance of releasing their emotions rather than bottle them up. This is a great teaching opportunity and tool to allow for greater dialogue with your children about their emotions and mental health. Parenting is hard! The book is now available on amazon. I hope you check it out, link below!

I'd say something like this, though if you can go up in budget a bit you can get LG's new entry level OLED.
If your viewing distance is less than 10' away the 75"/77" are the sweet spot for size and price right now. High quality 85" and above are still a big jump, and I'd recommend against most of the entry level models because most of them lack local dimming which will lead to a lot of light bleed and poorer black levels in dark room viewing.
I also generally recommend staying away from Samsung since they don't support Dolby Vision.

Yeah so couple options: You can get some cabinets/entertainment centers that have a TV mount built in -- usually like a pole coming up that mates with a bracket that goes in the VESA holes on the TV.
Or you just get a sturdy cabinet/entertainment center (something that won't tip over) to set the TV on, purchase a stand that has a hefty base -- here's just an example of one I found quickly so you can see what I mean -- and then I also recommend, even with the decent stand, a safety strap (E.G.) which will also go into the top VESA holes (so it'll be like strap, mount, VESA hole) and screwed into the back of the cabinet as well. Just make sure the cabinet is also sturdy enough to not tip over with the additional leverage of the TV, but most are so low to the ground that it won't be an issue.
Even better with sound
