Just uninstall the virus..
Windows built in anti-virus is as good as any commercial option:
https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/
And without ads that most "free" AV packages, and without being a CPU hog.
I'd personally go with the GS75 for it being thinner and lighter and all aluminum.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081ZJ2RCX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_ZSWTG6TYSPSWTVZS17A1
Performance is about the same. But that's just my preference.
Edit: This is the keyboard cover I bought when I first got my laptop. It's a cheap fix to avoiding ruining my keyboard. It came folded in half but flattened out after about two days of use. It isn't an EXACT fit and it molds to where you press your fingers over time but it works great and I'm definitely buying another once I am done with this one.
Hey man, same thing happened to my 6RE. I bought these off of Amazon and they work like beasts. All you need is a small Phillips screwdriver, and I mean small. And remember the void if tampered stickers are BS so don’t be afraid to poke through the sticker.
I also recommend replacing both fans and not just one so they have symmetrical life and power.

Edit, dang the deal is off the table already, looks like they all got snatched up. Sorry, I really tried. Couldn't believe the price it was going for. 11th gen i7, rtx 3070, 16 gb ram, 512 ssd, for 1499. Man that was a bargain right there

Edit: it’s the only one that is completely plain, simple, and it gets the job done better than any other
What is the rest of the laptop model?
If its an 8th gen, there is an extra m.2 SATA slot, if its the 9th there is 2 extra m.2 slots, one combo(NVMe or SATA) and one SATA onyl, if its a 10th gen there is one extra m.2 slot combo(NVMe or SATA).
If its an 9th/10th gen, go for a Sabrent Rocket NVMe SSD, or a Crucial P1 2TB cost around 250$, or compatible with all gens there is also the WD Blue 2TB SATA m.2 SSD:
https://www.amazon.com/Blue-NAND-2TB-SSD-WDS200T2B0B/dp/B073SBW3VD/
Around 200$, and more than fast enough to store games and data.
There are tons of docks and different deployment situations. You may want to share the problem you are trying to solve or what you are hoping to accomplish with a Thunderbolt 3 dock - charging, 10Gb ethernet, additional 4K video out, port replication, plug n play work spaces etc...
I'm an IT guy and I bought this for my GS66 when in my home office. Works great for everything I do but its not cheap. I trust the Anker brand - they ain't failed me yet.
I use this when I travel. As a bonus, it also works with my 12.9 iPad Pro.
This is the link for US amazon and just make sure you choose (2666Mhz) as your option and which ever amount of memory you want 2x8gb or 2x16gb. (2666Mhz) is what your max memory speed for your laptop will be.

Adding 8gb of RAM is so essential for dual channel performance, just make sure you pay attention to the CL rating, not just the speed and amount.

I have the GF75 9SD-016.
I think it'd be good to know what the temperatures are and on what unit. I'd recommend downloading HWMonitor: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
It is a very lightweight tool to track the components temperatures. I use it to this day.
edit: You can run it before starting your game and keep it in the background while playing. When finish playing, maybe screenshot (using Snipping Tool or some other software) the values so we can see. And perhaps give more accurate help.
When you turn on the “Cooler Boost” profile it maxes the fans no matter what - so if it doesn’t appear to be moving air on one side there is definitely a problem.
You can download a free tool like this to see what temps are like while you game - https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html - also note that unless you’re doing something 3D intensive you are probably using the integrated GPU, so that could be why only the CPU fan is on.
For stability, remove outdated drivers with the Internet turned off using Driver Store Explorer and reinstall the driver.
Drivers to remove: iaLPSS2_GPIO2_CNL.inf , iaLPSS2_I2C_CNL.inf , iaLPSS2_SPI_CNL.inf , iaLPSS2_UART2_CNL.inf .
Look for silent option in MSI forums, uninstall Dragon Center it's nothing but issue and use HWInfo to monitor temps.
Silent Option: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=255972.0
HWInfo: https://www.hwinfo.com/download/
The chances are that when you run it, it's gone looking for an update and then simply killed itself as it's not updated correctly a way to test this is to uninstall reboot the system then before installing and running it for first time disconnect from the internet if it works doing this then it's because it's found an update a crapped the bed.
The install is the same as Ubuntu. Here, get Cinnamon or Mate. Test it on a live usb you don't need to install it if it's tearing too. There are definitely going to be issues with Linux btw. As long as it's all good on OEM Windows the hardware is safe.
Mine appears to also wiggle a little but I had never tried until just now.
If you want you can buy a spare /replacement charger I've found this one work great, I've bought a few extras for backpack and other rooms.

Your thoughts on these products???
just to note my GE76 3080 when playing Overwatch, warzone, cold wars, godfall, PSO2 is maxing out at 68-70C. I did repaste since the base paste is usually crap. VRMs and GPU memory I used https://www.amazon.com/viscous-thermal-paste-replacement-Aspire/dp/B00UTX7K2E/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=k5+pro+thermal+paste&qid=1624381939&sr=8-4
for GPU I used Thermalright TFX and CPU was the thermal grizzly kryonaut. Temps are much better than stock for sure.
Yeah... was good enough to open my tablet. Sadly, it made no difference because Xiaomi's implementation of an "emergency" bootloader that bypasses the actual bootloader is basically useless unless you prepare for your bricking ahead of time with an "authorized" Xiaomi account.
I wouldn't have any clue what would be a good set of actually hard metal drivers. This looks like it has a lot of options. But I don't know if they're actually hard. They're apparently magnetic, which is great.
I suspect these screws are stripped by design. After all, you'll buy less new PCs if you can keep up with maintaining the old ones. It's also odd that all four were stripped (although one was literally mangled). I also know Lenovo strips their screws often to make opening them a lot more tedious, although you can usually get them open with a flathead.
I keep one of these with each of my laptops. Fits between keyboard and screen so they F and J nubs dont rub against the screen.

This is what I am using for my gs 66 2070 and it works perfectly fine. But I would suggest undervolting and custom fam settings for better thermals and fan noise before getting a cooling pad.
Also opening up the laptop and cleaning the dust build up inside especially the fans will go a long way.
I have the Ge66 with the 2070 super right now, but I'm about to return to BB this weekend. I just bought the GP66 Leopard off amazon.https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GP66-Leopard-10UG-217-i7-10870H/dp/B08SVWV3WP/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1W8TWJ16JFEKM&dchild=1&keywords=gp66+leopard&qid=1613156272&sprefix=gp66%2Caps%2C175&sr=8-2
It's my understanding that the Leopard is the Raider's cousin that doesn't wear bling. (No RGB) We seem to have the same specs except mine has the 8-core I7. I've been eyeing your model for awhile. I hope I'm right and mine is as much of a beast as yours!

I was having the same issue with my GS66.
My solution: Buy a Microsoft Xbox Controller USB adapter link
I know it sucks always having something plugged into the side of your laptop but it’s made my controller 100% reliable wirelessly.
I bought the following for my GS66 to take it to 32G.

I don’t know about 43 inch Looking it up doesn’t seem like a popular panel size. Because of that you may be limited.
You’ll probably have better luck getting better quality at the 38” size.
For me I am rocking an lg34gn850 which I could not be happier with
LG 34GN850-B 34 Inch 21: 9 UltraGear Curved QHD (3440 x 1440) 1ms Nano IPS Gaming Monitor with 144Hz and G-SYNC Compatibility - Black (34GN850-B) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086XLLG28/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_iGmKFbPBN45CN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I got this model for the gsync/ips panel/144hz/hdr features
For me this one also doubles as a work monitor so this particular monitor had some good reviews for text readability as well.
With that said no one can really say what best features you should look for but you more have to think of what you need out of it.
I ranked my features I wanted in this order
I tried 3 different kinds on my ge66.The only one that made any difference was this one https://www.amazon.com/IETS-Cooling-Flexible-Colorful-Adjustable/dp/B07WVK2ZZ9..But even that was barely any decrease. The best temp reduction I've found so far is from a regular old aluminum laptop stand with open spaces to give the bottom intake vents air flow.I get about 10c cooler with just the stand then any pad I tried.
Try out a stand and just make sure theres good air flow.
You can just get something like the Logitech G305. There's no best mouse. Just get something with low latency and is comfortable to use.
Get this. I've had a few adapters, but its the only one I could get that worked with both my Oculus Rift S and my high refresh rate monitors.
HAVIT RGB 15.6-17" Laptop Cooling Pad Cooler with 3 Quiet Fans and Touch Control, Pure Metal Panel Portable Cooling Stand (F2073) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QKR6MB8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_iphzgfQcXvlkK

I do not notice any input lag at all. I did do some googling when I first got the monitor to change the settings on the monitor to what others suggested but I can't find exactly what forum that lead me to.
Nice! I wasn’t a fan of sticking something on my laptop so I picked up these. Super glued them to my lap desk and they’re working great.

Works like a champ. Powered by usb.
I do not have that same brand of M.2 but I got a variety pack of different thicknesses like:
and used what seemed to fit. You can dry fit before peeling off the protective film. I stacked 2 on top of each other under it and put a thin one on top.
I got the KLIM Ultimate on Amazon. I like it. It is quiet and works pretty well.
I used Samsung 32gb x2 DDR4 2666MHz 260 pin SODIMM. However, i wouldn't purchase 1 32gb stick but instead 2 16gb sticks that way you can run dual channels instead of single. (I can't answer the SSD question. I just know it's a single 512GB SSD component)
Here's the link to the Samsung sticks i purchased from Amazon:
This is the exact one that I bought still listed on amazon if you wanna check it out for a full description! : MSI GL62M 7RD-1407 15.6" Full HD Thin and Light Performance Gaming Laptop i5-7300HQ GTX 1050 2G 8GB 256GB SSD Win10 SteelSeries Keys,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072QT88DG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_D-YUEb103BSWQ
Your USB-C ports do not support native video out. For the most part, you will only find that on models supporting Thunderbolt, as video out is part of the Thunderbolt specifications; though some non-Thunderbolt USB C ports may support "Displayport alt mode" for video out.
You can get around this by getting a USB HDMI adapter. Most of them come with USB A connectors, such as https://smile.amazon.com/StarTech-com-USB-HDMI-Adapter-External/dp/B00H91BQ7Y
Whatever you buy, make sure it doesn't say that it requires Thunderbolt, Displayport alt mode, media output, or something similar.
hmm ok i will keep that in mind. thank you
wait what if i use the laptop cooler but turned off?
also i was recommended this by someone and it has its own dust trey would you say this is the same?
Honesty, the entire setup looks very unstable, especially for a GE66 which I always consider to be a premium machine. A more stable cooling pad isn't very expensive, you should be able to find them on Amazon for roughly $20-$50 USD although I would recommend this one.
I don't know about anyone else, but I do tend to baby my laptops - make sure that they are mounted securely on the table, have adequate cooling and that cables and power adapters are plugged in a manner that does not put strain or stress on the ports (which are admittedly fragile and can degrade over time when stressed for long periods).
Aside from this, you've certainly achieved exposing the underside to fresh air, I'll give you that. If this is all you're aiming for, then yeah - mission accomplished.
You've got a very nice laptop there, best of luck with the setup and don't hesitate to go crazy on the down votes lol.
Well, got the replacement charger, haven't open it yet. (also forgot to mention, I got the 240W charger, cause it was on sale for like 40 dollar off)
But somehow the replacement box that came is different from the one I got previously.
The replacement I got is this one: (found a pic in reddit)
https://www.reddit.com/r/LenovoLegion/comments/tf5enm/share_my_experience_of_using_slimq_240w_gan/
However the one I got before is a smaller black box with 4 "international converters" included inside,
While the one I just got is the above. (which seems to have a USB-C/A extender), but the box I have, the back says
Pack List: F240 Portable Charger, Super Thin DC Cable and AC Cable with Butterfly Connector
It doesn't mention an extender... and what's Butterfly Connector... the previous charger I got seems to just be a regular AC Cable.
What was the one you got? a Smaller Black Box with Internal Converters, or the above, Wide Box with possible extender?
The one listed on Amazon had the international converter (tho I probably won't use them anyways) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0921B5TTW/ref=twister_B0B5GHY9PL?_encoding=UTF8&th=1
but the above reddit thread I linked above with extender is from 1 year ago, and the recent reviews on Amazon seems to have the extender... so I am wondering if the one I got before with international converter is an older or newer model?
I found this- and a full replacement keyboard (Canada). Have you tried these kinds of third-party sites?
Either that or use a heavy duty IETS cooling solution while overclocking - or better yet, both.
I’ve had a good experience with this cooler its pretty expensive but its probably the best laptop cooler I’ve ever used and does a good job at elevating the laptop
MSI Mystic Knight Gaming Laptop... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JGHZWBW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I went with this one. It’s a pretty big book bag lol. Fits the gt77 and has a divider that fits my cords, mouse, headset and controller.
This is what I was speaking about https://www.amazon.com/Construction-Airflow-360%C2%B0Adjustable-Personal-Cooling/dp/B098XJ1B1T/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?crid=3IQRDUQUREIW6&keywords=desk+fan&qid=1665779357&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI2LjQ1IiwicXNhIjoiNS45OCIsInFzcCI6IjUuNTAifQ%3D%3D&spre... There is quite a price difference
Out of all the tests I have done and may others, there's really only 1 cooling pad that works worth a darn. The airflow is MASSIVE, but it's also quite loud.
IETS GT500.

Its most likely a NEMA 5-15P to C13 power cable. Cheap as dirt, as it is an industry std cable and common across the board.
My charger output is 19.5v 11.8A 230watts which is different from yours, the model no of my charger is HSTNN-LA12, but this wouldn't work for you cuz of the different spec.
which model is your laptop and how many watts is your charger, i guess 280w right?
Found a Amazon link, is this your charger? https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Adapter-957-17E21P-101-MSI-Laptops/dp/B07QJ853GN
Tried them all, but nothing comes close to Noctua NT-H2
It reduced my CPU temps from 94C to 88-90-C on max load
Looks interesting,
Also, the output on SlimQ's charger is 20V - 12A - 240W
I was told elsewhere that VOLT and AMP should be the same as the old charger while the WATT can be higher.
Will 20V - 12A mess up my MSI GL62 laptop who's old charger is 19.5V - 6.12A (the AMP from SlimQ is literally 2x higher)
Also, I still have no idea if this laptop's model connector is 5.5 x 2.5mm or something else, since SlimQ also sell connector tips for MSI 7.4x5.0mm and 4.5x3.0mm...
They do not say which laptop models do the chargers actually support, they only tell you the brand names it support... which brands have a lot of models in itself.
Its a USB Type C displayport -
https://www.amazon.co.uk/DisplayPort-uni-Compatible-MacBook-Surface/dp/B075V27G2R
SHOULD allow you to connect to your monitor using the DP on it.
Forget docks - they mess around wiith the signals, I've never found one that works above 60Hz that isnt idiot expensive.
Get a Display port cable, you have a gen 2 display port. that will run the monitor at 144hz
https://www.amazon.co.uk/DisplayPort-Silkland-Compatible-FreeSync-Graphics-Grey/dp/B085ZLKDX6/ref=pd\_bxgy\_sccl\_1/260-0046108-4382357?pd\_rd\_w=5KuZF&content-id=amzn1.sym.79b812bf-5c8b-4c0c-851c-784423adaff5&pf\_rd\_p=79b812bf-5c8b-4c0c-...
Plug the HDMI and display port cables into your laptop, not any external "boxes".
I've switched out two different fans on my MSI laptop. It's really easy to do. As u/superhakerman suggested see if you are under warranty and if they will take care of it first. But if not, they aren't that expensive and again, really easy to replace.
Found This one on Amazon for $25.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07VFXLKNH/ref=emc_b_5_t This stuff? Nano diamond one which apparently is a bit easier and thinner to spread for laptops.
If you charge it at home, and in the school, then you should have 4h of battery run time for the 2h train ride.
I find it a bit strange, and even disturbing that you can(need most likely) use a laptop in class and there isn't a single outlet available for students.
This power bank can output 19V, but at they dont list any MSI compatible plug, maybe ask the seller and show them the photos of your charger plug:
https://www.amazon.com/BatPower-EX7L-Ultrabook-Rectangle-Smartphone/dp/B07DGPXHGM/
If the seller isn't able to sell you a cable with the right plug you can always buy a cheap charger, cut the cable and make a custom cable.
Keep in mind that its limited to 90W max output, so no gaming should be performed with it plugged in.
Its rated to 90Wh, so it should give you 90Wh/65Wh = 1.38, so a full charge plus another 30%, enough for an extra 5h of run time.
That's the wrong one. Mine has 2gpu fans that are connected then the cpu fan is separate. My issue is in not sure if this one will work or not
Ugh, so...I'm searching.
You have a unique design. You have one fan assembly which houses two blades/motors (and these are technically two fans, but the housing/bodies are one piece so..great)
There is a 2nd fan which is more traditional. The normal guys I use have your whole heatsink fan+assy but its..too expensive.
I HATE using Amazon fans on a gaming laptop but I found a listing. Here. Just look at it. But wait a bit please-i'm going to try to find OEM fans for this. You don't want to use amazon fans on this model esp because of how intensive it is to replace them
As others have said you’d need to replace the whole mobo set up, so a new computer is probably cheaper in the long run. But you don’t have to lose all the info from your old laptops stored on the harddrives, you can remove both your ssd and sata hdd and use an enclosure adapter to usb to retrieve your data. This is what I’ve done with many dead laptops I’ve had. Something like this (but not necessarily this one just an example check your specs to decide what one would be right for your needs.) https://www.amazon.com/WAVLINK-External-Enclosure-Function-Tool-Free/dp/B082PFJLJG/ref=sr\_1\_19?content-id=amzn1.sym.86e9859b-8a7b-4e73-aeaf-1df666c1aeb1%3Aamzn1.sym.86e9859b-8a7b-4e73-aeaf-1df666c1aeb1&keywords=ssd%2Benclosure&pd\_rd\_r=...
Your laptop has two m.2 nvme capable slots:
https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GP66-Leopard-10UX/Specification
So any m.2 nvme SSD will work fine, since you want 2T try to get this 970 Evo that is on sale:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-Plus-MZ-V7S2T0B/dp/B07MFZXR1B/
Consider repasting your laptop as well since it is 1 year old.
Buy some mastergel maker when you get the SSD, watch a tutorial on how to repaste a gs66, and it will be easy to do.
For the SSD, just install it in place, turn the laptop on, open disk management and the new unallocated SSD will be visible, right click and select format and assign drive letter.
Was your Anker battery pack able to plug and play with your laptop or was there an additional step? I purchased a open box 87w laptop powerbank from Anker but my GS66 (2021) is not able to recognize the charge.
AFMAT: click here
- Replace your thermal paste with a better quality one ( Gelid extreme has both thermal paste and pads, you can use the paste on cpu/gpu, and pads on the vrams for ease of cleaning when your next application of paste/cleaning happen. )
- You can also limit your cpu core speed, not all the game require to run at maximum clock speed to reach the highest fps, even triple A games don't need that, not all, but then again it also depends on the cpu cores/threads etc.
I never ended up buying that. I did get this combo Anker deal for my laptop and Steamdeck. Works great.
Yes, I was very happy when I realized I could control the fans manually, at least for a period of time. My temps can get kind of high, something like up to 70 degrees if I am not careful. When I put the fans to 0% I can do cooler blast, Fn+F8, for half a minute or so to get it back cool again.
The Nillkin risers I have were installed in the front of the laptop in conjunction with the riser I have in the back so the front wouldn't scratch on the tabletop with the back lifted up, but they came off because the front of the laptop has a bulge in the middle of it, so they were not put flush. In the back of the laptop I have this riser:

Haha, yes, I can see how getting home late can make it hard to see how to fix a problem on the computer. Glad it got all sorted out! With the washed out screen it looks horrible.
I bought the same laptop and upgraded the hard drive to a Samsung 2TB NVME drive and 64GB of RAM (2 - 32GB sticks) Timetec 64GB KIT(2x32GB). and it works like a charm
I recommend Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut - Carbon Thermal Pad with it. My MSI GF65 Thin 10UE-217 hasn't gone above 60 degrees, and this is during summer in a room with no AC. Be careful because it can fry your laptop if you install it incorrectly.

Well that's just the thing - while I know that laptops like the Stealth and maybe even the Raider under certain circumstances get extremely hot under load - leading everyone to recommend the IETS 500 the fact is my GT75 absolutely never required such a thing.
The fans in the Titan are so powerful I've never had the machine go over 80, although most of my work is scientific - and of course gaming. With the Thermaltake everything stays in the low 80s. Although I should probably repaste soon, I can tell you the temps are just fine.
Good luck in your search!
I bought a new msi about a week ago and spent the extra 50 on the AFMAT gaming laptop cooling pad.
this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085DPTFJM?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details specifically. 100% worth the buy. It's pretty quiet and i can over clock my set up playing a few diff games at highest graphics setting getting 144+ fps. games I've ran on the new set up w the cooling pad at highest settings so far are ARK, League of Legends, apex, and fornite. no temp issues.
Hi! Keep the back elevated with something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081ZW7D4Z?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
If that does not do it, you can keep cooler boost on all the time, but it might prematurely wear out the fans, so you would have to replace them (either by themselves or combined with the heatsink module).
If I lived where you do, I would just keep the back elevated, do nothing with the fans, and buy a separate house fan to aim at your computer (from the back, towards your face). That way you do not prematurely wear out your fans. You can also aim the fan from the side, as long as the air is making it to the underside of the laptop.
As others have said, buy a laptop stand this is the one I use will help with temps and should be able to put the laptop under the TV still.
Also, when you get it, make sure if you can afford it, to upgrade to 64GB dual rank ram at some point:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09S2QLBWC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
It's pricey, but it increased my CPU TimeSpy score from 13116 to 16373!
Just a suggestion if you have the extra money! I say 64GB because there are no 16GBx2 dual rank kits out yet. Only 32GBx2 dual rank kits.
Also, good news about thermals. If you have not got a chance to game yet, I just played far cry 5 for half an hour, and my cpu and gpu temps never went above 57 degrees Celsius. I game on a stand that tilts the back up though:
Laptop Riser for Desk - Aluminum... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081ZW7D4Z?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Yeah, it's better than nothing! Haha. Always nice to get free stuff.
240w USB C charging sounds amazing. The powerbank I was thinking of is only 65W, so it's only really good for topping it off. Who knows though how the laptop would perform hooked up to it though. It's at:
That's the cheapest one I can find with the AC adapter.
Are you a DJ?
All of the above except WD40. Never use that thing otherwise expect more dust and gunk buildup. Use ball-bearing grease only for the axle. WD40 has some mineral oils but is mainly used to deter water and paired with blades spinning, centrifuge, gravity it will get away.
I on the other hand use a toothbrush, a smaller hair dye brush, water and soap (no water on electronics).
Thank you! I'm either going to go with the Everki Business 120, or will go with this other backpack I found. Trying to figure out which would be best overall regarding quality, space, laptop protection, etc.
I have a similar model (i5, 1650 Max Q) and I had the bracket in the box. I've tried to jerry-rig this setup before in an ASUS Strix 753VD and my advice is just order the bracket online - it's a massive headache and you'll always be wondering if you just cracked the motherboard with your duct-tape solution.
At least, that's my 2 cents. The bracket, btw, works like a charm.
Creditcard won't work. I bought an iFixit pry set.
https://www.amazon.com/iFixit-Prying-Opening-Tool-Assortment/dp/B0762BVXDY
I used one of the blue 'guitar pick' things to do it.
I'm using stock but from what I've read the only limitation on ram is your cpu. Some cpu are limited on the ram speed. It'll still work but will get throttled to your limitation.
There's cheaper and I imagine crucial has higher speed ram but this has good reviews.

Study the use of a program called Afterburner. You can under volt the graphics card to drop the heat. Have a look a the klim 5 x 100mm laptop fan coolers. Both those items will drop the game temps by at least 10 degrees and the fans won't be labouring making less noise.

The adaprter for the usb 3.1 port worked perfectly for me. I guess this solve the problem. This is the link:

I hope it helps :)
You can search on amazon or ebay for the word "displaylink" like that all together to see them. The DisplayLink is a standard chipset and driver across multiple brands. This is an example of one of these adapters: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083GP5B2Z
I have 6 dif cooling pads, from Amazon over the years.

That is the best one I've ever used. It gets loud but my Gs77 with 12th gen i7 never gets into mid 80s now.
