Yeah, Netflix has a nasty habit of blocking working servers and if a VPN cannot put up new ones, they're a bit screwed. Don't know much about VPN Unlimited, but I recommend checking NordVPN (over 4500 servers) or Express (over 2000), both of these work with Netflix. I'm personally using Nord and it works fine for me and I agree, the server number is impressive. Had to switch to it mostly because my previous provider did not work with Netflix
I've done a ton of research and testing in this area and I have bad news: it appears Netflix has blocked public IP ranges of most known VPS hosting providers. I have tried RamNode, VPSCheap, A2 Hosting, etc. and all are blocked. Really the only way you will get a VPN that works is with VPN providers that use public IP ranges not yet blocked. ExpressVPN has some but they usually only work for a few hours.
There are some companies that resell access to residential IPs provided by the likes of AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, etc. but you're looking at about $50 per month or more; totally not worth it to use a $15 Netflix subscription. I will give it to Netflix, I didn't think they would ballsy enough to block entire hosting provider IP blocks, but I guess they don't mind cutting off their nose to spite their face. Hope their subscriber count starts hemorrhaging copiously so that they realize how stupid of a move this was.
I get that it's the content providers that pushed them to do something but this was not the right something IMO. Geo-restrictions of content by content-owners is incredibly stupid but it pads their pockets so I doubt a lot will change any time soon.
EDIT: Found one that works. PM me for details. It's a paid service, but it has a brief trial period that's free, and you can pay with PayPal, which is nice. Obviously I'm not going to just post it on here, because you can bet your ass that the fuckers over at Netflix HQ are checking this thread to see which VPNs they need to block now. In which case, if you're reading this, Netflix IT guy: fuck you.
I'm in Italy and I'm having little luck. SmartDNS and Hola failed. Hola didn't even pretend to work. SmartDNS gave me an error message. I tried to get SaferVPN and to work, but I abandoned the search when I found an easier one that did work.
I'd like to give a super-special "fuck you" to Sky TV Italia, who monopolized House of Cards-- a NETFLIX ORIGINAL SHOW-- which means it won't be released on Netflix until six months after it shows on Sky TV... by which time, I will already be back in America.
As far as I know NordVPN works with USA, Canada, UK, Netherlands and Japan Netflix. I use it to watch UK Netflix, and haven't encountered any issues. Sometimes you need to look for working servers because some of them could be blocked by Netflix, but NordVPN always creates new ones to bypass this, so you should look up the new ones, or just ask their customer for the list of working ones.
First you need to figure out where Naruto is available in English Audio. You can use the website here: ;st=bs
For Example, if Naruto is available in English Audio in USA, then you need to use US Netflix. You'll hardly find any free VPN for the same. I recommend using NordVPN or Express VPN as they let you stream from US Netflix.
If you want to watch in your browser then Ironsocket and a few others are working. If you want to watch on Android, iOS, Apple TV, PS4, etc then I think Express is the only one working right now. You can find more info here.
Interesting that NordVPN is nailing marketing game but failing in social media and Hotspot Shield is rocking social media but doesn't seem to be that strong on other criteria. Also, organic traffic criteria speaks for itself with ExpressVPN standing on top. So NordVPN might seem to be dominating some parts of the market, but they definitely have places to improve.
Only VyprVPN is working for me today for US Netflix. Check this page for the latest updates. I don't think any services are working for Mexico but Ironsocket and NordVPN are working for a few other non-US regions.
I can recommend NordVPN but the thing I noticed with Netflix is that if some movie is exclusive to a country (lets say Japan for example) then it only has the subtitles for that country (in this case Japanese). It's kind of silly and unrelated to vpns but still.
Try out PrivateVPN. Here is their list of available servers that work with Netflix: I am using this with a bunch a friends for over a year now. Works great!
Edit: They have an app for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and the Fire TV
> So Netflix is not only geo blocking people, they are just blocking all VPN's period. I have a serious problem with this since Netflix is now putting my online security at risk.
This is something that I have noticed too that I have not seen very many people mention. I'm in AU and if I point my TunnelBear to AU and try to use my Netflix AU account I get the dreaded "You're using a VPN!" message. When I turn off TunnelBear I can use Netflix AU.
Not cool man. My bears need to be let loose, not cooped up.
Yes, it does reroute to US Netflix. Most VPNs can only bypass a few countries Netflix. You can see which countries does NordVPN unblock here - . Personally, afaik, US Netflix has the most content so I'm good with that.
I think some of the NordVPN servers are having trouble, so try finding a specific one that seems to work.
For instance, when I turn on NordVPN, I also cannot use google, since apparently Google detected unusual network traffic. I think that something similar causes problems in Netflix' network, where perhaps a filtering is taking place within some of its infrastructure.
The state of the internet is pretty dire. Seems that using VPNs is becoming increasingly bothersome. Won't be too long before we need to find a decent alternative to internet as a whole. Hopefully, piracy will be easier then, since Netflix and other legal options are beginning to show severe shortcomings.
NordVPN is fkin tits!!! I've asked support guys to upgrade my account with that 3y offer and I had just to pay the difference around 20 bucks. Netflix works without any issues, no doubt give them a try
ExpressVPN MediaStreamer DNS is the only service that I know of which still works on a PS4 directly. Another option is to share your VPN connection from your computer as a mobile WIFI hotspot. You can find more info here.
Mine still works though.
I love the other thread that this poster no wait, this is his 1st one.
Naughty naughty
Also on NF IPs topic..I am waiting for another from torguard to be assigned to me, will use that one on my other device.
Latest info that I now have is that I should get it with arrival of next batch of Netflix IPs.
ETA: any day now, as I have been told by live support.
ExpressVPN also got few IPs that still work. It comes in handy to have accounts with multiple VPN providers, both for Netflix in this case and especially for daisy chaining VPNs
So no Netflix, we will not stop fighting. Or we might stop and cancel your service.. I hear that kodi was previously named XBMC.
So it is no mistry that this quarter Netflix is seeing increased number of cancellations....
Net neutrality is what people want!!
Like I said earlier it's all about infrastructure. If you spend tons and money in your network infrastructure design and operations Netflix simply can't catch up unless they really want to store (and go through) thousands and thousands of IPV6 addresses.
What's happening right now is that all services with a simple infrastructure (e.g. routing traffic of thousands of users through a single IP address -- which is EXTREMELY easy to spot with something called "network anomaly detection" --) are getting cut off.
There's a good reason why Unlocator and the "one of those services" mentioned below still work. It has nothing to do with Netflix paging through this subreddit and everything to do with solid network engineering.
What service were you using that made you feel this way about it being "the end of proxies"? I have a subscription with Unlocator. I'm paying the monthly subscription cost because I use it for other programs, such as blackout restrictions. It currently doesn't work for me for Netflix because I live in the US. But for people in other countries trying to access US Netflix, it works using a new beta DNS method. I continue to subscribe in hopes of a beta DNS that works on other countries for myself.
What exactly is your complaint? You paid for a year in advance. In exchange for a discount, you take the risk that the services that UnoTelly can provide may change over the year. There was no guarantee that those services would continue unchanged, because it's not possible for UnoTelly to provide such a guarantee. That's business. If you didn't know the risks, you should have educated yourself better about them before paying for a year in advance.
UnoTelly is making best efforts to continue their Netflix unblocking service, with mixed success. They can't advertise it publicly because of the separate payments issue they are having with credit cards and Paypal.
Every other DNS service is in exactly the same position. That's why they've all removed the advertising from their web sites.
Edit: Never mind my comment, I just assumed you‘d speak German because you said you live in Germany, but after looking into your post history I no longer think this is the case. Sorry!
So you basically advertise NordVPN? Because I watched the video and that's what it seems to be.
Windscribe has servers as well. I am using them for 1 month already.
Tip: StackSocial - > WINDSCRIBE 3 YEARS-> Add to cart-> Create account -> Redeem code -> WINDSCRIBESD20 -> Premium for 3 years for 12.49$. Enjoy.
Well whenever it happens with my provider (NordVPN) I contact them, and they provide new servers which work with Netflix. I would advse trying them, but they do not work with Japans Netflix as far as I know. Just a general question, while I know this is Netflix subreddit - why don't you just torrent what you want to see? You have a VPN anyway?
Hi, it could be a new fresh ip from Mullvad and is not yet blocked by Netflix, but after more people use it and they will now after you made them aware :D.. it's just a matter of time..
OR
Netflix is drunk from the new years party
I was just thinking this.
Managed to get PureVPN to actually behave and saw that US Netflix had loads more movies than the UK Netflix does (of course couldn't actually watch them due to the Proxy error).
Rights holders wanted Netflix to block VPNs etc to make people 'buy' the content in their respective country but actually I feel it's done the opposite. I'm MORE inclined to pirate it (in fact I have) than I was when I was using a VPN to watch it legally through Netflix.
Good job rights holders! You were making some money at least when I watched it through Netflix but now you get nothing!
It would appear that Netflix is adding to its blacklist region by region. I haven't been able to use Unblock-Us for over a month. I know of others who only just got blocked last week.
So, I suspect, it's not if everyone will be blocked, it's when.
The Unblock-Us folks seem to be trying to ride it out for as long as possible, but they must know that their days are numbered.
Check out the #unblockus on twitter:
Not happy campers there.
You are confusing "the law" with "terms of service". Per Netflix's terms of service and licensing restrictions, you are not allowed to change/fake your region. There are still ways to do this even with Netflix's anti-VPN practices today. Give http://www.unlocator.com a try and you'll be able to switch between USA Netflix and UK Netfilx.
It is either Unlocator or the change that Amazon has started when logging in to a country other than the one where you have Prime. For example if your Prime account is in the U.K. and you wish to access the US Prime library then you must, in addition to a vpn or dns proxy, change your country in your account to the US. So your Kindle, video, apps, etc... store will change. This may require a US billing address and payment method. It’s as though you have moved. Quite an inconvenience, if you aren’t moving. If you do not change your country setting you get that country alert of video not available. If you have US Prime and are still getting the alert then perhaps unlocator has been blacklisted so they will have to do something, if they can. Amazon has become very aggressive in weeding out VPN’s. Just like Netflix, and I don’t think unlocator works with Netflix.
There are tons of relay servers. You don't need to know someone, they are publicly available on a volunteer basis only.

Just make sure to download the softether client with VPN Gate Academic Plugin from Tsukuba University in Japan so that you can connect to all the relays. It's freaking awesome :)
NordVPN -> US/Canada/UK/Japan $12/month $84/year
ExpressVPN -> US/UK/Japan/Canada/Australia $13/month $99/year
Wannaflix -> US/UK/Japan/Canada $5/month $47/year
According to this link, Netflix Japan is not supported. But you can email their support for help. They usually reply fast and are very helpful.
i don't have a solution to your problem, but i just experienced the same issue with NordVPN and am also looking for a solution
Give Private Internet Access a shot. it doesn't seem to work for netflix, but internet speed is not an issue.
Right so, I have been trying to find VPNs that work today the only ones i know of that work are, betternet and express VPN (express VPN you need to pay for)
Betternet VPN is free and availible on any platform.
They are finding IP ranges that Netflix doesn't know about. Eventually Netflix finds these too and then they find new IP's to use. Some VPN providers have been more successful than others. Some don't really seem to care about the Netflix market. I currently use ExpressVPN, Strong VPN and SurfBouncer and they all are working as of today.
is the easiest and cheapest to use in my experience.
ExpressVPN works for netflix in some servers I used them this month, but almost all their servers are not working and you have to find the ones that do, netflix started shutting down their servers and it seems like they are not going to fix it, also I used other region which dont seem to work anymore.
netflix is getting really good at detecting those vpns.
I apologize. I was looking at the other service "Betternet" that was listed on the same page. The point is, all your traffic goes through their server. These streaming devices should only be used for streaming and not a replacement for whole house WiFi.
Turbobeacon is a plug-in device. You just plug it in and go. Again, this can be easily accomplished with a cheap $30 router and a VPN provider that works. And you're not locked into a service. Do they guarantee working Netflix? What if they give up? Do you now have a hardware brick that doesn't work? Can you program that brick to use another VPN? I'm guessing "not."
Do they mention speeds? If you have fast broadband (100 Mbps or higher), will the device perform as well? Do they post speed tests or other performance metrics?
ExpressVPN DNS is still working on PS4 but it only works with Netflix and Hulu as far as I know. You may need to use a VPN for HBO. Check this video for setup instructions for a virtual VPN router to share a VPN connection from your computer to your PS4.
The money back guarantee period is only 5 days. If you just signed up I would wait a day or two and see what happens. If you are already getting close to 5 days then I would cancel it. If you want to try VyprVPN or ExpressVPN they are both still working and are available with a much more generous 30 day money back guarantee, more details here.
What devices are you using? Express DNS service is the only one that is working for all devices right now (Apple TV, PS4, Roku, Chromecast, etc). Some others such as Ironsocket will work in the browser only. Check this page for more info and latest updates.
I am also in China and I can confirm that ExpressVPN, VyprVPN, and StrongVPN are all working. Express DNS is also working from China now so you can use that instead of a VPN. If you have any trouble with US Netflix from China feel free to send me a PM, I will give you some more tips.
I got your PM and tested Ironsocket DNS. It seems to be working if you open the region switcher and change the region for NFL to USA. For some reason the default is Netherlands. After I changed the NFL region to USA I opened this page. It also works for US Netflix but in the browser only.
Thanks, but I'm done with trying VPN's. Even if they work, it's unreliable, VyprVPN works for example, but kicks me out after a while.
I don't see why I should give Netflix any more money. The good movies and series of the tiny Europe library I basically watched and with all the traveling I do into countries that don't have Netflix at all and the missing access to the US library I'm done with that.
If I pay I don't want a hassle. Basta. I'm not paying to have a harder time than getting the bloody jolly roger back out.
Netflix is not functioning at the moment due to blocks. Unlocator is a smartdns. SmartDNS works by rerouting the DNS queries of a device to your server in a different area of the whole world (Using a VPN changes your IP Address (the address of your computer)
Try expressvpn (VPN + SmartDNS), ExpressVPN comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Ya, this is getting crazy. ExpressVPN is completely blocked again, the VPN is not working either right now. VyprVPN is the only VPN that is still working for me today.
No only is Ironsocket not working, it looks like Netflix banned my IP address I was using to access Ironsocket. Removed Ironsocked DNS servers, flushed dns cache and still netflix will not load on any of my devices. If I use my phone 4g loads fine... Wierd thing is is still showing my old Ironsocket DNS, through all my devices even though I totally removed it from my router, my router is now pulling my local DNS, flushed DNS cache on my windows Machine, pulling correct DNS now, still get old DNS from ipleak...
Yes, Ironsocket seems to be working for US Netflix on all devices using the DNS service. There is a coupon code here for 30% off. Only $35/year with the coupon code.
No magic involved. They have an unblocked IP range for now. Will get blocked in the next run in a couple of days. They have a 7 day money back guarantee and will leave you stranded once blocked. Don't go for anything but monthly. Unlocator works too in browser.
isn't on that list and it beats the pricing of all of them. Cheapest one on that page is $7/month. Unlocator is $4.95/month. DNS changing service so no loss in speed. There is also a VPN option if you want to use it. I've had no problems with streaming USA Netflix & UK Netflix using the service.
My UnblockUs stopped working yesterday, so I cancelled the subscription and signed up for Unlocator instead. Their beta works find for me so far and they have a 7 day free trial. Didn't bother to contact support tbh, I figured that if UnblockUs had a good way to work around it they'd post it on the web page. I don't want to have to e-mail support to get it fixed. Up until this I've been happy with UnblockUS, though, it's very easy to use and has worked perfectly.
Netflix is aggressively blocking all the VPN services on and off. It's a game of whether the VPNs can change IPs faster than Netflix can block them. Report the blocking to CyberGhost to see if they have a suggestion for you. If it persists, you might consider trying a different VPN service to see if it's any better, but keep in mind that the situation changes day to day.
Blockless stopped working for me over a week ago. Now it won't even work if I have it set to Canada where I actually live. I've had to change the DNS settings on my Xbox One back to normal or Netflix won't work at all.
Maybe DNS Leak???
Your home IP should not show in the results...DNS Leaks are from the web browser and router DNS configuration.
On your router try using DNS servers such as https://dns.watch
And make sure you are not using SmartDNS with another VPN connection together...the Netflix will be detecting your VPN IP and not the SMartDNS.
You can try r/https://www.softether.org/
It's shared residential IPs which have JPN IPs as well. I was able to connect and browse on Netflix Japan contents.
Using this just to watch Terrace House. lol
Yes, I am also using Netflix through Getflix.
However it works only on PC and not on my PS4 or through chromecast.
If you are interested there is a life time membership available at social stack right now for $39.
No kidding bro, PrivateVPN is shit. That said, one VPN that I've had really good luck with is PureVPN. Plans are reasonable and I've pretty much been able to do everything you'd typically expect from a VPN.
That said, i suggest reading a review about PureVPN before you go ahead and purchase it. Perhaps it might not work out for you.
No expert, but not all VPNs are equal. I was blocked from Netflix using StrongVPN, but NordVPN had worked fine for me since I signed up a few months ago.
Worth noting if you are trying to look at another countries tv then a browser location spoofer, and changing your computers clock to the timezones you are meant to be on helps sometimes.
No matter which DNS server I choose, the endpoint (Swiss proxy in this case) is always the same.
With dns4me and Unlocator, there is even the option to use the service completely without their DNS servers, just via hosts file.
However, it makes no difference.
The proxy servers, in this case in Switzerland, seem to be extremely slow and/or overcrowded.
I think all these services are probably mainly focused on US based services like "Netflix" and the rest is, more or less, just marketing.
No, Netflix bans just the servers of VPNs, your account won't get banned, but if you use a VPN that gets has all the servers banned, you won't be able to watch Netflix, so get a good VPN that works with Netflix, like Surfshark or Astrill and don't worry about anything.
Amazing.
I do not understand HOW you did this but I hope not too many people get a whiff of this - because this is the first thing that actually works of all things I've tried in a long time. I just tried NordVPN with the Chrome Extension = did not work.
Uploader: Would this VPN thing also work with other sites/apps? Or is it it "just" Netflix?
Nonetheless - thank you so much!
Well, I use NordVPN, but my mileage has decreased recently, and mileage varies overall. I dunno, it is getting harder. I am not sure Netflix as a platform will continue to make sense for me; I cannot use NordVPN effectively on my smart devices. No.. I would have to say I do not recommend it, but at the same time I am sadly not aware of any smarter alternatives.
Very strange.
I recommend you give Netflix support a new try. Also, try seeing if Netflix on your phone works. If not, Netflix is the cause of the problem, not the ISP, because if NordVPN works fine, then someone is blocking the traffic, and given the error is FROM Netflix and you can connect to them, I see no reason to even contact the ISP.
The servers rotate through every now and then. 100 used to work no problem, but I haven't seen that server in a bit. 102 used to work but just stopped. None of the others work anymore so I moved over to PrivateVPN, so far that's worked fine.
An update on my situation with NordVPN: I found that Netflix US on my Apple TV somehow stopped working when I set my RT-AC68U (AsusWRT-Merlin fw) OpenVPN client specifically to the ATV (i.e. "Accept DNS Configuration" to option 'Exclusive', and "Redirect All Traffic" to option 'Policy Rules' for ATV static IP). Tried various settings based on their tutorials, but nothing seemed to work.
I tied the Nord OpenVPN exclusively to my ATV because my download speed via Nord US were 1/10th of my regular ISP speed.
However, if I set all my router traffic through Nord ('Strict' DNS Configuration, 'All' Redirect All Traffic), my ATV would be able to stream Netflix US. Looks like I'll have to keep toggling Nord on and off to get US Netflix ♂️ (unless anyone can help with this)
I say go with NordVPN, according to this it works with Netflix and I've tried, it really does. You can always ask their customer support for the best Netflix server
you need to pick certain servers for it to work, ask customer support which ones to use. Netflix blocks IPs all the time, so you need to ask customer support from time to time, it doesn't matter what provider you use. I always pick US servers with highest number and US Netflix always works with NordVPN. Give it a try!
This is what happens when i try to connect to NordVPN most of the time... And the times i do connect to canada to try to watch bones on netflix it says im from else where, for example i tried it twice and got put in US then Sweden... Any ideas?
Not sure it's permanently or temporary issue, but yes, they are not working, while their main competitor NordVPN advertises you could watch all Olympic games and US Netflix
Why would you have money “in your credit card”? As the name suggests, credit cards are for credit. The two-year deal is excellent, NordVPN works as well as any paid VPN I’ve used, and for the price better than most.
Okay, so I tried:
With incognito/private window with both Chrome and Firefox Nightly. They're all showing MXN prices so your VPN is somehow leaking your IP or it's just a misconfiguration.
About the cheapest country I couldn't tell.
Hey I've been watching Terrace House as well and using Hotspot Shield VPN to access it. They have a 7 day trial but you will need to pay for it eventually for it to continue working.
Message me if you have any questions about it.
I used Vip Dns, it's a bit pricey but it works on my laptop, phone and PS4.
I have used ExpressVPN before, it works fine but I cannot connect my ps4 due to my router is old.
I used smartdnsproxy before and most of the time I need to change my dns from Singapore to Japan to India and stuff.
A lot of the VPN companies still have some servers that are not Netflix blocked. And from what I gather it's a cat and mouse game to keep changing IP's to ones that are not blocked. I can verify that Expressvpn, Strong VPN and SurfBouncer are still working on some servers. PIA, PureVPN and Nord stopped working for me a while ago, but haven't used them for some time.
I've not heard of anyone who has been banned for using a VPN, just blocked.
Netflix may have eased off as there seemed to be some kind of concerted effort at the time, likely to keep studios happy.
However blocking a VPN service is bit like playing whack-a-mole, one surrogate IP address gets blocked, another one arises - or the VPN provider does some other clever work around.
I'm using StrongVPN which had issues briefly - as many services did - but seems good now
I can access US and Canada Netflix via my Asus router with NordVPN. Just be aware that your router must support VPN client protocols - PPTP, L2TP or OpenVPN in order to route all your network via VPN server. Otherwise it won't work as Nord does not provide DDNS service yet.
What servers are you using? I'm getting the proxy error on the US and UK servers NordVPN recommends for Netflix.
Edit: Well, of course I found a working US server immediately after writing this. UK's still not working, though. Let's hope they fix that soon!
Do you often contact support when netflix goes out on StrongVPN? Every time it goes down (which has been happening every 4 days or so recently), I just assume they are working on it and that my support contact won't do much.
Depends what you mean by "reasonable way". If you think watching in your browser is reasonable then Ironsocket DNS is supporting several countries. If you are willing to buy a static IP address for each country you can also check Torguard. I think it should work on all devices but I have never tried it so I can't confirm.
VPN and DNS working on Apple TV version 4.
VPN - ExpressVPN, VyprVPN, Ironsocket.
DNS - Ironsocket DNS Proxy, ExpressVPN MediaStreamer DNS.
Other VPNs that may also work on Apple TV 4 include Buffered, NordVPN, PureVPN, and Torguard (dedicated IP recommended) although I have not tried these ones personally.
To use a VPN connection through an Apple TV you need to run the VPN on a router or run it on your computer and share the connection with your Apple TV.
For further information on VPN or DNS for Apple TV check this post.
Zenmate is an alternative that always worked for me. Due to German privacy laws they can't do the same stuff that Hola is doing. Tunnelbear is another free option. Both of them are much better than Hola.
Yes, everything was working fine until about 2am UTC yesterday then it suddenly switched to the "Whoops" unblocker / proxy message in the middle of streaming.
Today I'm not even seeing the US lineup at all; it goes straight to the local lineup despite still being configured to use the ExpressVPN DDNS addresses. This is the first time I've ever seen this happen.
Device: PS3 Location: Tokyo
Unlocator has said that they will only be supporting USA Netflix, so that should mean they are going to be back up soon. They're only working on fixing that region rather than fighting to support multiple regions.
For anyone still coming back to this thread the only options I know to be working at this time are Tor and Proxmate.
As of writing VyprVPN and ExpressVPN are US only. If anyone does have success for other non-US regions/Geo switching then do update us.
I'm eagerly awaiting the work from the Borderless Internet team in a couple of weeks to see if that solves the issue as Tor/Proxmate are not viable options for me due to the setup I need.
Edit: I've also heard from NordVPN they have some non-US servers working but I haven't been able to test this yet.
Also, I have been struggling getting both Android App and Chromecast to work on router level with unlocator.
You can also try PIA, I saw StronVPN being mentioned a few times here, but I don't have any experience. So far I used ExpressVPN, Unlocator and PIA.
Best option for this case is Smart DNS. ExpressVPN and Ironsocket DNS are both working well on all devices. You can set the DNS on your router and it will work for your whole network. Remember to disable location services on your tablets. More info here.
Here's some good tips and VPNs to use in the future. I think TorGuard and ExpressVPN still working with Netflix as well.
Yes, if you are running a VPN on dd-wrt then it will work for both WIFI and cable. Not all VPNs will work on roku and ps4 but ExpressVPN and Torguard should both work. You can also consider VyprVPN which works very well. They have a very nice router app that runs on top of Tomato firmware. It works much better than the built-in OpenVPN client. I'm not sure if you can flash Tomato on Buffalo routers?
Good News!
This topic has been covered in some recent posts, mentioning the likes of NordVPN, ExpressVPN, Unblock-Us, TorGuard (), and a handful other. Hopefully, you'll find it useful.
Here in Thailand, a VPN is a "must" due to governmental censorship, but having unrestricted US Netflix access is my main priority....Fortunately, there are several VPN providers still being able to circumvent Netflix's VPN block. Personally, I prefer TorGuard () and IPVanish. However, YOU may be better off with another company...Anyway, contact support before you make a decision. Good luck!
You'll be able to access USA Netflix and UK Netflix by using . And of course you can always use your Canada region by disabling the region switcher in your Unlocator account. 7-day free trial. No credit card required at sign up. Try it out and if it doesn't work out for you, there are other services out there that others in this thread alone have mentioned.
its aight man, you may be an ad but youre not lying. it works FLAWLESSLY, no disconnects, quick enough for good quality netflix and no problems since payment. but its 9 dollars a month, 4,99 if you pay 6 months ahead, and the vpn game is too unstable for me to commit to that :P I aint rich.
still, 5 stars for VPNBaron :) thanks!!!
Seems they've tanked. Used to function just fine. The fix is to change to a Open DNS, then back to their new DNS. Which also happens to be blocked or perhaps Netflix is "tagging/flagging" accounts. Either way it's stopped working and the Unblock-Us support seems to be giving generic replies to everything. Hope they resolve it but until they do I'm freezing my subscription to them. Really sad though, was a simple fix to change DNS on my router. Guess they got too big and Netflix noticed.
Unlocator has a beta DNS that is supporting USA Netflix and UK Netflix. 7 day free trial with no credit card due at sign up. If you want to watch Canadian Netflix again, you'll have to revert your DNS settings back as they don't support Canadian Netflix yet. Give it a try.
Have you tried using a different browser?
Would you like to test if the error is caused by your current VPN Service? PM and i'll give you a test account on our netflix enabled service vpnbaron.
This is why getting a VPN is better. A low end VPS might cost around 10$ and it will probablly nor work for very long.
Speaking from experience, the ips get banned pretty fast. A VPN provider can deal with updating the IP list with fresh ones that still work on hulu & netflix. VPNBaron does just that for 4.99$/month
Unlocator has a beta DNS way to get into US Netflix. They are testing it before trying other countries but it seems to be the new way to go. You can sign up for a 7-day trial without the need for a credit card and if it works out for you, they have cheap plans per month. Right now it only works if you live OUTSIDE the US and are trying to view the US Netflix catalog. Try it out for 7 days, there's no risk.
I gotta agree that I view Netflix Canada for Doctor Who. Seasons 1 through 8 are on there. Jealous!
Saw that BorderlessInternet was back working again for the last 2 days, but as of today it's down again. The sad part is, I paid for a year of Blockless but it is totally unusable now and writing them is worthless. I asked them to either fix the problem by the end of March or return my money for the remaining months of the year, but they haven't replied.
