Kids don’t be like OP, use the awesome security system that your car came with. Not only can it potentially provide video of the suspect, but it can also act as a strong deterrent. Showing that you’re being recorded on the screen has the potential to scare people off.
I used to be a fool who only turned it on occasionally. Set it to be on at all times, you can create exceptions for home, work, or favorite places. Get a nice big memory stick, I just got 500 GB for $85 on Amazon.

$700? For a fucking cooler?
I got this one for $86 (and even that was more than I really should have paid), but it's nicely padded, holds ice forever, and fits in the trunk bottom space. Should also squeeze into the frunk.
All you need is a $2 adapter. I had a friend with a 3d printer make me one for free. Here's the link to the print file:
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/tesla-model-3-j1772-lock-charger-adapter
I would NEVER do this but I've thought about it :)
Not sure if this actually does what I'm thinking, but it's too bad the tool balancer doesn't have a pull to release type mechanism like old projector screens. Then you could pull it down with minimal to no pressure on the charge port, then pull down slightly and retract up when done.

Not the best cooler, but great for long trips with a few ice packs! And it fits perfectly in the frunk, leaving a little extra room still!

You may like these j1772 locks: https://www.amazon.com/Super-Durable-Tesla-Charger-Adapter/dp/B082FRF7HY/
They essentially utilize the Tesla "lock" of the J1772 adapter and then lock the J1772 charge handle to the adapter, so you are relying on the Telsa lock port to secure the Chargepoint (or other) connection. It has come in handy quite a few times.

Re: "they need a Tesla": not necessarily. There are adapters that convert from Tesla to J1772 (for example this one). Saw someone charge their BMW 530e at a Tesla destination charger with one of those.

I was thinking of getting something like this and just screwing it into the the bottom of the compartment or something. It’d be hard to get out or destroy. I really wish Tesla had put an active USB data port in the glove box.

I have a Red 2021 Model 3 LR and i havent gotten too crazy. I bought the official Tesla floor liners, the console trays, and one of my favorite purchases, were these valve stem caps. The stock valve stem caps were hilariously cheap for a car that costs $50K+ so i promptly swapped them for less than 8 bucks
Most of what I've bought was from Amazon.
SSD to replace the USB stick in the glovebox. Velcro strips to hold it down.
Grocery bag hook that screws on to an existing screw in the trunk
An organizer that fits into the hole on the lid of the center console It doesn't fit much, but it's a good place to hide a few small items
I tried to get another organizer that fits into the front center console, by the phone chargers but the one I got didn't fit the 2021 3's very well so I ended up using it in the back center console instead. They may have come up with a new one now.
A good screen cleaning cloth. The car comes with one in the glovebox but it's nice to have a larger one.
They don't come with the car. This is what I bought but I'm sure there are lots of options out there.
I had a terrible experience with Tesla’s roadside service when I had a flat. I decided I would be prepared to fix myself until I could get to a tire shop to have them fix. I bought this kit and an air compressor to keep in my Model 3. From what I hear this is a better option than using the slime.
The use of rodent friendly wires in cars and everywhere else isn't new. I lived in a house that lost power one winter due to a squirrel eating the insulation of the power line (it would not make that mistake again).
I would recommend getting ultrasonic rodent repellent devices (like these). And plug one or two in the garage, as well as anywhere else in your home you have seen signs of them.
I’ll try that too! This one? Thoughts on the... pineapple scent? (Seems like a bizarre scent choice)

Just look for an industrial 14-30 outlet. The residential ones are not made for constant plugging and unplugging ... the industrial ones should be fine. It's probably only a difference of paying $30 versus $10.
If you want more realistic quotes, nextdoor.com is a social media type app /website that is limited to your neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. You could probably find a quote or a neighbor that knows a reasonably priced electrician. Don't tell them it's for a Tesla.
I ended up plugging the USB stick in my laptop and running the following command to delete files older than 30 days and plugged it back into the car.
Wish the Tesla software had this option.

Good luck!
My recommendations based on functional necessity:
Absolutely!
I’d recommend getting these (below) the smaller the more powerful. The pressure washer comes with a turbo nozzle and it’s awesome.

Than you need to get the Scan My Tesla app for either iOS or Android
You can easily find a YouTube video for how to install... But most importantly you need to 'Power Off' the car before you unplug the wiring loom. I also suggest a trim removal tool vs. a knife to pry open the panel. You get a free one when you buy a cabin filter set from Amazon (which you'll need at some point :) )
Hope that helps. Feel free to DM if you need any other help.

Can’t vouch for this specific product, but a weatherized AP in the garage with wire back to the house or a directional antenna from the house to the garage would be your best bet. You need WiFi for updates, plus you may find having outdoor coverage leads to using the space more.

Bought 2 Pittsburgh 3ton low profile jacks and a breaker bar from Harbor Freight (only need 1 for 1 tire), a pack of hockey pucks and a 21mm non marring socket from Amazon, a rubber nub/locator to screw into hockey puck.
Place car in jack mode, insert hockey puck into jackpoint under car, lift up corner of car with jack just enough to begin lifting body while keeping wheel contact with floor. Break nuts free with breaker bar, lift car more about an half an inch off the ground, undo nuts all the way and pull wheel off. I then replace it with a spare tire since I can really place a jack stand under the same jack point where the jack is holding… torque to 129 ft lbs, drop car.
Here are some links to the products I used that I could find quickly:

I have a zillion baby infrastructure recommendations (parent consultant by profession), but for this request in particular I highly recommend car seat guardian. I’ve been using them for years. It’s also way easier said than done, but not letting kids eat in the car cuts down tremendously on messes.
I'm *so* glad I got the tempered glass screen protector - a couple weeks ago I was cleaning the inside windshield and my steel watch strap banged the corner of the screen, and chipped the screen protector, leaving the screen intact (phew!). (I've also heard some folks have chipped their unprotected screens with big keyrings, handbag buckles, etc, and chips can lead to cracks, and it's thousand of $$$ to replace). I got the $17 Topflight tempered glass one <here>, and have been very happy with it - it has a nice oleophobic coating, easy to clean and has a slick smooth tactile feel just like the unprotected screen.
Not OP, but this is the one I used: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07RSNL3T2 There's a website referenced in the instructions that has really good video tutorials on how to cleanly apply each piece.
Found it: https://evwraps.com/pages/tutorials
I used this to mount it to the recommended location. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZDJJPWH
Barely noticeable from the outside, and I forget it's up there.
Yep! Any iPadOS device would work. What’s neat is that I only had a regular iPad, so to accommodate for the seats reclining and moving back, I bought this mount which has an extender on it. So you can recline both front seats as far back as you want without any issues.
It isn’t hard to lift the car if you have a low profile hydraulic jack. It’s no different from any other car IMO. You should use a jack pad adapter like this one - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S51J6FN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_1l.1FbV5ZPW1F - note I didn’t search too hard for that. That’s a cheap one but it looks fine, although I bought a nice machined aluminum one from Amazon. I couldn’t find it though.
Nah, that ad is poorly worded... it's like someone ordering a "martini up on the rocks".

(Model 3 here for those of us reading) I ordered a rear seat container that zips up nicely, no complaints so far: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CMZ11TX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It also zips up on the sides to keep the dog hair from going everywhere and has a window so the anxious one can still see us up front lol. Take it out, shake it off and fold it up for trunk storage!

The stickers have the white boarder. I bought some PPF and used it on the other big sticker in place of the one I had with Clean Cling. Without the while CC backer, it's definitely not as bright white and purple. But it's still ugly.

How good of an electrician are you?

Installed 6-50 240v 40amp just off my breaker in third bay. Family is not great about leaving me space. I backed in or would string cord under third door if I was charging during the day. Recently bought two of these on Amazon and mounted to garage wall running above the doors with drops so I can use both and plug UMC on far end of the garage or middle bay by disconnecting the 2nd cord. I didn’t lose any power and still get about 30 miles of rated range per hour.
I live in West Michigan, so it's seen a full 4 seasons. Ended up putting 23.5k miles in just over a year owning it. I felt this spring had a lot more cotton wood in the air which was evident within the filters.
I replaced myself with this replacement from Amazon.

I ended up replacing with these HEPA filter on Amazon.

They showed up yesterday and got them in last night. The 2 main ones are flocked, although the color of the flock might be slight lighter than the main Tesla flock.
The front storage one is nice, fits well, and it is nice that it slides. I had seen one that was actually spring loaded like the sliding lid, but didn't get it as I liked the compartments on this one better. Or maybe it was the price of this kit.
The one for the main one just sits in place, but does have an opening the the charging outlet. It has to be lifted out to get below it, but not many other options for that location.
The "under the armrest" one fits nicely and sticks into place. Not sure yet what I will use it for, but it does make use of the empty space there.
It also came with a TPE cupholder. The cupholder fits nicely, but almost makes it too small for a lot of items. It fits my coffee mug, but any larger diameter items like my wife's coffee mug don't fit. Would fit plastic bottles or cans fine though.
Overall, them seem fine so far. Nice to have some organization for those cubbies and not have to reach down so far to get stuff.
I got one of these when I got my M3. I just stuck some EZ pass velcro to the myQ opened remote and stuck it in here (so I didn't have to velcro anywhere on the car). This way, it's not on the visor and easy access that can be hidden. Works great.
XTAUTO Center Console Organizer... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SR83CM3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It's not an organizer per se, but I'm a big fan of this lockbox designed for the 3/Y console.
Here's a video of mine: https://imgur.com/jhS7rmX
I added the felt on the lid so I can keep my sunglasses on there and not scratch them up. And yes, the handle makes a good Chapstick holder lol.
Sure here you go...Remember, I traced the outline and mounting points form a OEM-ish set and cut them to fit using tin snips .
The ones I cut to fit...
The ones I traced and sent back...
Hell no don’t buy that there in the link lol if you’re gonna cover your seats at least give it some style. I originally have black seats in my car but I wanted to spice it up, I bought these right here on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TQLCRZK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They have a few colors but I went with the black and white variant. They look OEM, very sporty, and also if I screw them up completely it’s only a couple hundred bucks to get an entirely new set. I can take pictures for proof if you need an idea on how they look. I installed it by myself as well, so in case you don’t have anyone else it’s definitely doable to do alone. Took me a couple hours to do

This one. Most Tesla drivers have a J-1772 adapter, but not many other EV drivers have the Tesla adapter. And this charger is a beast. I've put it in every place I own.
I believe it's this one. There appear to be ~5 variants of the design on Amazon at the moment with varying builds and prices.

I'm in Europe so I suppose the standards are a little different, but it's this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09G75G4MX?psc=1&smid=A1AIT61YGQ94EV&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp
I want to leave the UMC inside the garage and use the extension on the vehicle plug end instead.
So I got these ones, and centered it up with the caps they give you. The ones that come with it have what looks like a Nintendo 64 logo on it lol. So the Tesla sticker covers that. Plus it’s all a sticker anyways so if you don’t like it there’s other options.
You can buy a digital meter for about $10 it plugs into the cigarette lighter
I have a protruding outlet like the OP and got this holder which comes with a base for these types of nema outlet setups. This includes the cable hook but you can buy the base/holder separately.
These on a hub in the glove work wonders for any Bluetooth controller. I use PS4 and Switch pro controllers. Works for Xbox game pass in the browser as well. Just set the device to PC mode. The green version. Usb for dash cam works just fine on the same hub.

My Ford Focus Electric got 6 years on it's 12v battery before replacement (in the Midwest), I have always used one of these. I noticed that it was dipping down to 11.7 v on a regular basis (when checked first thing in the morning). so I changed it out my self.
They're really not that large...

And I regularly haul three 25L tanks for the JetSki... All four items would fit in the back MX without putting the seats down... Other models, not so much. :)
i had this one saved in my amazon cart from when I saw a DIY of some guy upgrading everything in his cyberquad for kids awhile back. I can't find it anywhere anymore unfortunately :(
