My apartment has this forum that people can sell items and there are some good deals when people are moving. But because it is Manhattan, some people have really luxurious items that I can't afford even when it is a fraction of the price.

So I bought these yesterday. Yesterday, they were $200. I knew the original Opus were bluetooth 4.2, but they had just come out with new one's that were 5.0, so I just figured these were them since they are $200 on their website. However, as you can see today, huge price drop.

Also, there is a link there to the "new model" which are these which you can see actually say Bluetooth 5.0. They're also on sale for $160. But if you change to the midnight blue variation, it goes back to bluetooth 4.2, but $170.

needless to say, I cancelled my old order and reordered the new ones. I don't like that something I bought had a price drop of $70 the next day.

After having COVID (which I know isn't the same) and fully losing my sense of smell, my ENT medical assistant ladyfriend recommend I "recalibrate my sense of smell" by sniffing specific strong essential oils a couple times a day. I got a cheap kit on Amazon and I think it had a pronounced effect of helping me pick out and identify smells better. Because I really struggled at the beginning. (I had what I called "Boolean smell": something here smells but I can't tell what)

i was trying to play pokemon snap the other day and my pink/red joycon from my v2 switch apparently has a battery life of like 10 minutes these days.

when I just switched to the pro controller, I noticed major drift. FML why are these controllers all failing on me.

for reference, my launch switch's left joycon has been sent in for repair twice already too. I think it's still fine but i basically never use the joycon anymore (I use this when handheld)

This is one of the best air coolers on the market. One thing to note is in shorter workloads there's no real difference between a high end air cooler and water cooler. Where all in one water coolers get a real advantage is in heat soak. It takes a lot longer for an aio to reach their max heat capacity than it does an air cooler and that's due to the larger size and also the liquid.

I have this one saved for when I need to upgrade and have a "real" home office. Looks super nice.

Yeah, I switched out the 2nd one for this.

It wasn't the most ingenious idea I've had since it's advertised by the hot honey company but it was really good.
