I'm sure it was when he Healed Bela so she wouldn't tire out keeping up with the other horses, which happens when they are leaving Two Rivers, before they get separated. Moiraine says that when she went to heal Bela she found the little horse wasn't tired, and uses this as an example of Rand channeling.

There's actually a brilliant app called Unofficial WoT Compendium, available on both iOS and Android. You select which book you're up to and then type in a character name and it'll give you a spoiler-free synopsis of their character and story so far. It's fantastic, downloaded it after reading the first book and googling a key character only to find out about their death. Would never read the books without it, now!
They actually made a WoT D20 game that will give you all the ideas you need, it's based on 3rd ed but you can convert it to 5th pretty easily.

Eye of the World.
Read New Spring between Crossroads of Twilight and Knife of Dreams.
Edit: Possible exception; if your wife is into comics this is a legitimate competitor to the actual printed book in terms of building interest. Only if they're a comic geek though. Start with the book if they're a bibliophile.
Animated does not mean anime. Looney Tunes is certainly animated, but not anime.
For a Wheel of Time animated series, I would advocate towards the animation style used in Netflix's Castlevania series. It is high quality, and I think would represent the characters (and monstrous creatures of the Shadow) quite well.
Dashiva was Aginor.
You last saw Cyndane talking with Moridin, but her actions to this point are probably mostly a mystery to you.
Taim: read on.
Demandred: read on.
There's a good Android app (may also exist for iOS but not sure) called Wheel Of Time Compendium (Unofficial) that lets you select the book and chapter you are on then look up spoiler free info about characters and places. There's also the glossary of the previous books.
Because nobody posted a link yet
Edit: Hmm... Can't get Talene. It guessed someone I'd never heard of. Then it got to WoT guessing Lanfear then Eladia. Then it guessed someone I don't know and gave up. I'm kinda surprised there are any named WoT characters not in there at this point.
It's a specific cut of trouser.
This is actually a kilt, but this is what "Black slashed by Red" could look like.
A better resource is the WoT Compendium (Google, Apple). It's intended to be spoiler-free; a few accidental spoilers have been removed as they've been caught and reported.
You tell it what book you're reading, and it gives you information about each character as of the first time you meet them in that book. For example, if you choose Moiraine in EotW, it says:
>Guest in Emond's Field the day before Bel Tine. She has large dark eyes and keeps her dark hair in ringlets. She barely comes to Rand's chest.
All of that is collapsed behind the chapter number, so you can explicitly check that you've reached that chapter.
I always thought that illustration wasn't too different from the covers of those "trashy" romance novels. Not always a bad thing but definitely threw me off.
Edit: see what I'm saying? https://www.amazon.com/Rogue-Fabio/dp/0380770474
"The world of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time" by Robert Jordan and Teresa Patterson. Link
It's not a story so much as a collection of explanations. It will really help you to understand the details of the main story and gain some insights that would otherwise be left unsaid.
I enjoyed reading it but it's definitely not for you if you just want another story to read.
Otherwise I think you've read everything.
It's not a link, but a spoiler. Hover the text if you're on a desktop browser. Or use reddit is fun if you're on mobile, it'll show spoilers properly, and reveal them when you select the comment.
An anime adaptation would be pretty awesome. For example theres an american graphic novel on humble bundle right now. (halfway down the page on the right). But I think 12000 pages is both a good argument and a bad. you realize that a MASSIVE amount of chapters and everything is just fluff. Whether you like reading them or not, they're fluff. Shaido chapters, random side characters never to be mentioned again, etc etc. So much content that could easily be cut out with little or no impact on the story.
Also there is Ogier St.

Also:
Be nice to your library collection if borrowing one.
In addition to the glossary in the back of each book, there's an app that will let you select the book and chapter you're on then let you search for non-spoiler info about the character/place/etc. You can find it here for Android.
I googled "Primevideo.com Wheel of time", it lead me to this link - https://www.primevideo.com/detail/The-Wheel-of-Time/0U3073DE9J38JXZ5WLZW5O8MH3, then I logged in with my Amazon account and was able to watch it.
Dialog is an acceptable spelling of the same word according to multiple dictionaries including Oxford. If you're gonna nit-pick a ramblin'-ass nit-pickin' post, make sure you're correct before you do so. Just sayin.
http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/dialogue
There are two additional things to read besides New Spring: River of Souls and Ravens.
I haven't read River of Souls so I can't tell you much about it. Ravens is an additional prologue that was added into a young-adult version of Eye of the World. It's short and doesn't really add much, but it's nice to read some fresh WoT!
There’s a d&d 3.5 book that has instructions to run a Wheel of Time themed campaign. Apparently Robert Jordan helped write it, but on Amazon it’s $100.
There is one... It might be an app, I'm sure there here could help fill in the gaps. But it basically asks you up to what book your interested in, and the character, and gives you spoiler free deets
ETA: I believe this is the app I used on my first read. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium
Well I can't find all of the info myself, but a search on dragonmount, theoryland, or other WoT sites will find it for you.
Here is an interesting written out "sherlock holmes explains asmodean's death" thing.
Sherlock Examines the Death of Asmodean
The interesting part about the Sherlock one is that it only uses information from the books 1-8 to prove the point and doesn't rely on info provided from RJ, allowing us to see why RJ thought there were enough clues.
I like to listen to the WoT music I copied from the 1998 PC game's CDs. (Music by Robert Berry and Leif Sorbye).
Also cool: anything non-vocal medieval sounding, such as many of the background tracks I use for my D&D table, provided by https://tabletopaudio.com/ or the like.
For what its worth, affect and effect confuses me too. I use "affected" most of the time.
For the non-searchers and the interested: https://prowritingaid.com/grammar/1000196/Effected-vs-affected%E2%80%94what-is-the-difference
Yes and no. Some basic terms are in the glossary in the back of each book. Some words you have to pick up from the context of the story, but get added to the next book's glossary as they may have spoilers for the book they first appear in. Later in the series some of those definitions change and/or grow longer.
This app might be of some help when it comes to the long list of people on the these books.
You know there is an old D20 rules variant for Wheel of Time, and a campaign that weaves players into a story relevant to the first 6 books or so?
https://www.amazon.com/Wheel-Time-Roleplaying-Game-Fantasy/dp/0786919965
Even better are is the App that was based on that site! Here are the versions for iOS and Android. The advantages of the App over the site?
Sounds pretty much perfect, no?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium (also exists for IOS).
You can set it to the book you're currently at and it'll tell you which chapter an entry spoils before you expand them.
There used to be a plethora of accidental spoilers in there, but the creator has been doing their best to get rid of them. As long as you don't mind the remaining risk, the app is very helpful.
In addition to Amazon (as u/FusRoDaahh mentioned), they are also at Barnes&Noble, Thriftbooks, and a number of other online retailers. I’ve also seen them at local bookstores where I live in the U.S.
It seems like they are the least expensive at Amazon from what I’ve seen (they seem to range from $15-23). Here is a link to book 9, and most of the others are listed if you scroll down to where it says “Customers who bought this item also bought”. The trick is to find the main WoT books sold and shipped by Amazon, and then select “Paperback” for the format (as opposed to Mass Market Paperback, Hardcover, etc).
Google image shirt confirms it is being marketed as a "Wheel Time" t-shirt on amazon( https://www.amazon.com/Wheel-Time-Shirt-Lighter-Feather/dp/B07HHZFZ7X) The fact that they missed the "of" indicates to me that it's not official merch. They have a "Wheel Time" brand: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=w_bl_sl_s_ap_web_7141123011?ie=UTF8&node=7141123011&field-brandtextbin=Wheel+Time+Shirt
I'm on book 6, and in my humble opinion, I think you should stick with the appendices... Robert Jordan was very repetitve and if there's something you don't understand right away, push forward just a little bit more and he'll explain it to you again. Some people don't like this repetition but I find it quite helpful because I can't remember a lot of things and he keeps reminding me of what is what.
As for characters, just use the WOT Compendium app (not sure if there's one for IoS) and you're good enough to search for characters you don't remember without getting spoiled :)
If you get lost, do not google anything if you want to avoid spoilers and don't check the wiki, either!
If you tag spoilers correctly, most people on this sub will respect it. There's also a glossary at the end of each book.
There's an app with character overviews up to a book of your choice, but it does contain some accidental spoilers (most of them minor), especially among the aliases. If you don't mind those, it's handy to have access to: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium
Enjoy WoT :)
On the Laman thing, I found a LoC book signing interview from 1994 (posted on a NEWSGROUP of all places), where RJ is asked and says that Tam's sword was given to him by the King of Illian. Now, that could have been retconned later, but it fits with the other facts that we know: Tam killed a blademaster of some ilk that needed killing. I'd guess during the Whitecloak war maybe.

Have you looked at abebooks? People sell lots of rare copies there.
Here is the EOTW prologue 'Ravens'. It's kind of interesting, doesn't have much story behind it.
You may also enjoy the strike at Shayol Ghul, a very brief excerpt from the Age if Legends regarding the last days of the war of power.
New Spring is definitely recommended, it's a satisfying back story of two legendary characters.
I've always loved this one of Rand, Mat, and Perrin (spoilers for later books). It's one of the first pieces of fan art I found while reading the series for the first time back in 2011, so it's the image I've kept in my head for the characters ever since. It's a bit spoilery when you're reading the first book, but I knew I'd have some awesomeness to look forward to.
I'm interested, although I don't really consider my voice fit for Moiraine. Once I figure out how best to do a recording, I'll upload it.
Edit: Hopefully this link works: Audition
I'm hoping we get better maps of Randland as the series become popular. IMO none of the maps are very good. The best I've seen is one for sale on Amazon. It's a map of Randland is the National Park map style. It has a blown up view of Tar Valon, but there's not a lot of detail. Link
While trying to help out, I've learned two very depressing things. Ariel Burgess no longer has a license to sell WoT art, which is what I was hoping to recommend to you and Ta'veren Tees, which was the officially licensed shop is closed.
My wife just recently bought me this print, which is pretty cool
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XS2Y64Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
She also tried to buy me a map print, but it's garbage, so I won't link to that. But a good quality Randland map is the perfect gift for any WoT fan
There is a WOT compendium app that lets you search for info on characters/items/places, but locks it to whatever book you're reading and no further (no spoilers)
Here's the Google Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium
It's just called Wheel of Time Compendium (Unofficial)
Sorry for the late reply, I have no notifications setup for reddit. He mentioned it on twitter in a lengthy discussion gender roles in Wot: https://twitter.com/#!/BrandSanderson/status/49661959813070848 The scene was cut late from ToM and moved to AMoL.
Terez27 has a document with the whole discussion: https://docs.google.com/a/morth.org/View?docID=dcjspjqg_90hcpvqvdb&revision=_latest
Plus this
Feel free to DM.
Also, these guys just advertised they'd started a WoT podcast aimed to be spoiler free (it's two old readers and one first-timer). I haven't checked it out personally yet but that's one option.
I'll also link the WoT blog that I've been following a bit recently on Tor in case you do end up wanting to read that. Sylas has a structure of 1-2 paragraphs of intro remarks, then a recap of the chapters, followed by analysis. He's pretty good at sussing out secrets based on his general knowledge of fantasy, so that may be too spoilery for a first timer, even if technically you've got all the information he has as well. Depends on how much one wants to figure things out on ones own.
Here a couple of regular sites that I have found:
-
https://www.fanfiction.net/book/Wheel-of-Time/
-
https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Wheel%20of%20Time%20-%20Robert%20Jordan/works
-
For completeness sake, I just remembered that there is some 'VERY' naughty adult tWoT fan fiction out there that I stumbled upon a few years ago. Really raunchy; some of the stuff written there would melt your eyes!
-
I don't remember where it is, however if you Google it you should get an answer.
i'm looking at this, and some of the summarys make it sound like it goes past that. like, does this stuff happen in the first book?
This is where I found my copy of the Big White Book of Bad Art. It looks like it's got shipping anywhere, really. Might be worth a look.
On an unrelated note, thanks for keeping up the reread! I thoroughly enjoy your retelling of your own journey through these books.
You can use the internet archive to read the Encyclopaedia WoT website. The earliest archived page is from 2004, which is after CoT was released but before Knife of Dreams came out, so you could theoretically read the chapter summaries there without spoiling past CoT.
https://web.archive.org/web/20041013064129/http://www.encyclopaedia-wot.org/
I'm sure you can try this with other sites too, but for plot summary I usually went to this one for their amazing chapter summaries.
It's in Unfettered III, and there's an excerpt here.
A Memory of Light: Book Fourteen of The Wheel of Time (Wheel of Time, 14) https://www.amazon.com/dp/0765364883/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_3383K2QBR9HQCFJH6576
Is this the same one? Says there’s 1 in stock.

I mean for storing real knives that in the UK would almost certainly be illegal to walk around with.
Are you familiar with Tolkien's World from A to Z: The Complete Guide to Middle-Earth.
This is what I was hoping that the Companion would try to be. It has everything in it. Everything. Even the page listings for each entry! Robert Foster put a lot of time and hard work into it, and it shows. I LOVE this thing.
I was extremely disappointed that Jordan's work could not get the same treatment. Not even remotely close.
It’s the “trade paperback” versions that have the eBook art on the cover. Here is a link to book 12 on Amazon:
The Gathering Storm trade paperback
If you scroll to the bottom of that page, you will see the rest of the books in the area that says “Customers who bought this item also bought”.
I’ve seen people say that those versions have a lot of typos in them, but I suppose there is a chance that the errors have been fixed in newer printings.
It's available on Amazon its just a strange system to actually get to the book. You have to click paperback then go to the subcategory mass market paperback. Here's a direct link to save you so time Link
Yeah. The book even admits this in its Introduction, which you can actually read it on Amazon.
The Introduction explains this- Amazon.
Take a look at the book's Introduction on Amazon where actually it states this!
-
I found a few on my first go through—the most famous is 'Bela' which is deliberate!(it was kind of a tongue in cheek joke for the fans)—but I did not bother to make a list of them.
-
Though it is very far from the thoroughness of the extravagant 'Tolkien's World from A to Z: The Complete Guide to Middle-Earth', as a lot of stuff is left out—Aiel 'bridal wreath' for example—of tWoT's version, while Tolkien's includes—everything—including the kitchen sink.
-
I say that it is still worth getting. But, like pointed out, some entries need to be taken with a grain of salt.
Don’t know what you mean with factual errors. Didn’t really notice any grammar errors but that may be because English is not my first language. Google gave me this amazon link.
They have a bit more info on the Amazon page:
https://www.amazon.com/Unfettered-III-Shawn-Speakman/dp/1944145230
[From the Amazon description/Speculation/AMOL](/s ""Travel the Ways with Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson" So maybe the cut Perrin section from https://brandonsanderson.com/the-wheel-of-time-retrospective-a-memory-of-light-perrin-and-egwene/")
link to amazon book on historical battles
I got this as a Christmas present a few years ago. The one reviewer doesn't give it much praise, but I enjoyed the many different entries from all time periods and places. The battles that interest me most are the ones where a smart/tricky commander can use terrain to win even when outnumbered. The massacre of the Roman XVII, XVIII, and XIX legions at Teutobergerwald, the British win over France at Agincourt (longbows vs knights trying to charge in mud), and Nelson's battle at Trafalgar are just a few places to start.
Karl was really nice about letting me use his Spoiler Free Compendium when I made my app.
Shameless plug: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium
It's just a simple Cordova app that I initially made for myself, but I've been thinking about adding some things to it. Mainly the maps. It's about time I started a re-read of the books anyway!
Google is full of spoilers. Do not look up characters since even autofill as you are typing them in may have spoilers. You can download the Wheel of Time Compendium app to look up spoiler free character descriptions by book if you need to refresh your memory on who is who. You can get it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium
They're really not. There is basically no on-screen sex in WoT. And the violence is rarely explicit. Yes, even Dumai's Wells, which is often invoked as uber-gruesome, is basically just one paragraph of gore.
I mean, this series even had a YA release...
If you've got an Android phone (not sure about iOS version), this app is an absolute lifesaver. You just put in which book you're currently reading and can search any character's name to get a spoiler-free summary of their story up to the point you're at. Otherwise, every time you google a name (and you will need to, there are so many), you'll get spoiled.
For a good non-spoiler resource ....Someone already mentioned the "Unofficial Wheel of Time Compendium" site, but apparently that isn't quite as Spoiler-resistant as previously thought.
However, there has also been an App made based off of that site, for iOS and Android. I do believe that this App doesn't have the "see also" thing that makes for Spoilers for Characters with aliases [I would have installed the App on my own phone to check and make sure, but stupid Google Play App can't find it; I think that's because I'm Dutch and Google hasn't figured out yet that trying to region-lock things on the Internet is literally the stupidest thing ever], but it also both has a search feature, and it allows you to select the Chapter you want information up to as opposed to just the book.
Could someone here install the App, type in the name "Bors", and make sure the App is indeed Spoiler-free?
I mean, there is a recent post on the subreddit -- which you, Kuuppa, SHOULD NOT LOOK UP -- about someone who Googled a Character's name (to see if they could find some fan art, I believe) and had a major plot point Spoiled, to the point that they are now asking if they should even continue reading the series.
Moral of the story: DO NOT Google names. Ever.
If you have questions, be it about spelling or about "where do I know this Character from", either ask on this subreddit or, for the latter of those two especially, use the Unofficial WoT Compendium on iOS or Android
From what I remember, the World of WoT was not spoiler-full. It's the book that was everything pre-WH or something and contains what you're looking for, imo.
I recently listened to "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" and Kramer did that book too. The main characters son sounds almost identical to Mat's in the first book. It made me miss my hero's! :(
I'd argue that from Sun Tzu's perspective Mat is "supremely excellent" when it comes to waging war. [AMoL spoiler](/s "Just look at how he dealt with the spy during the Last Battle, putting on a huge show to feed the spy misinformation about his intentions. Also previously when he made the Seanchan believe that his force was 3-4 times larger than it actually was and left their command completely disoriented by his manoeuvres").
The last nail that more or less confirms that Jordan had read The Art of War comes from Mat in Knife of Dreams:
>A beautiful battle is one you don't have to fight.
Paralleled with Attack by Stratagem 2:
>Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting.
Most of these things you'll find out later down the line.
The last question though, if you really want to get into the History of Randland, it's touched on here and there in the books but there is The Wheel of Time Companion but that may be a little spoilery. I did own The World of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time which I found to be awesome, and if it has much spoilers, it was published in '97 so wouldn't spoil too much. It does have great stuff on the History of Randland though.
The page counts have decreased slightly, so the font/layout must have changed, but the new editions look to be in a taller/broader format, which makes them appear thinner than they actually are. For example TSR is 9.1 inches tall, compared to 6.7 for the old paperback edition, 1007 pages to 944 pages. It's 1.7 inches compared to 1.8, so the thickness hasn't decreased proportionally to the increase in height. :)
Some Amazon.com links, which show the full dimensions:
Like /u/BodyMassageMachineGo said, there's the MUD, which has been around for a while if I remember. And like /u/redeemedteemo said, there's a WoT PC Game. Which was really, really terrible. It made baby Jesus cry.
Your other options are a CCG (think of an elaborate Magic the Gathering, if you've never played that sort of thing), along with a tabletop RPG (d20 D&D variant). Each has an expansion / following book.
I wouldn't be surprised if gaming rights are tied up in the current lawsuit between Harriett and Red Eagle (at least, I think that's their name).
Can I get a game programmer in the house?! Ugh, I want an MMO so badly.
The Big White Book (of Bad Art) is also known as The World of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time.
It's basically a world compendium featuring art and background on a bunch of the world, including stuff that RJ had written down that never made it into the series. But as people pointed out to me, it probably might contain spoilers up to ACoS.
Most notably, it contains some Age of Legends details that never really get time in the books, like backstories on Forsaken like Aginor and Balthamel that we didn't see for long enough to learn anything about. World details that just didn't fit in the series as a whole. Very handily, art for the various exotic critters that the Seanchan Empire use as mounts/beasts of burden and some details on the hierarchy of the Empire that are quite interesting but not plot-relevant or explored in-series.
Also, once you finish the series, later this year Harriet McDougal (RJ's widow) is releasing The Wheel of Time Companion, which aims to be a comprehensive piece along the same vein, and which will (sniff) probably be the last published piece of original/new WoT that we ever see.
Also, I have no idea who coined the term Superfade, but it's both much easier to refer to than Shaidan Haran and pretty much perfectly appropriate.
There was a new book released, titled <em>Origins of The Wheel of Time: The Legends and Mythologies that Inspired Robert Jordan</em>. It is an authorized (by Harriet, Robert Jordan's widow) account of various topics related to Jordan's life and the Wheel of Time. It included new information confirming the identity of Nakomi.
YES
The Amazon Series has short animated stories depicting Origin Stories
Scroll down the Amazon page to Explore > Origin Stories
I would give whatever studio animated those 6 episodes my left kidney to animate the entire WoT series!
Barnes and Noble just released a special edition to the first book in the series "Eye of the World." I'd check that out for sure. I know I'd love one.
It's great, but do yourself a favor and download a character encyclopedia app right away! It can get quite tricky a couple of books in otherwise. 😂
If you are on Android, this one is pretty good. Can sort after which chapter/book you are on to avoid spoilers!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium
If you use an Android device, install:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium&gl=US
You can choose which book you're reading and it only gives information up to that point on things you look up.
I recommend checking out the Licanius Trilogy. I just finished it last week, after completing a WoT reread, and absolutely loved it. It has a lot in common with WoT in many ways.
The audiobook version is narrated by Michael Kramer, which imo is a huge plus!
I would like to point out for u/Halo6819 that your post will soon be incomplete and need updating:
>The Wheel of Time Companion This will most likely be the last WoT publication.
Origins of the Wheel of Time is coming out in Novemember.
Google Pay Store App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.silvermast.wotcompendium
Basically you set it to the book you're in and search for characters. It gives you a summary of said character up to that book.
> I've been meaning to do a comprehensive bosom analysis
When you do, remember to wear the official uniform of the occupation.
> User scores on a massively brigaded website sure.
(1) There were critic reviews there, which I specifically called out and mentioned.
(2) The critic reviews are worse than the user scores: you should have preferred to focus on user scores.
(3) I was only using the user scores to show the drop in reception over the course of the series: that it started off OK and got worse with time, before falling off a cliff with the ending.
If you want another source, Amazon's own reviews are basically a perfect 55/45 scenario: 46% of reviews are 5 stars, 37% of reviews are 1 star, with 7% each for 2 stars and 4 stars (the remaining 3% are 3 stars). That gives 53% of reviews being positive and 44% of reviews being negative, and 3% being neutral.
Hence, my point: people disliking the show is not a bubble. People liking it isn't a bubble either, but that didn't seem to be under dispute.
Literally, that was the purpose of my comment. To dispute the "bubble" assertion. If you think it's about anything else, you're wrong and you read it wrong and you need to read it again. If you're coming out of this comment thinking it's about something else, you're still wrong and need to read it a third time.
> But it takes massive cognitive dissonance to pretend that Amazon isn't extremely happy with WoT right now.
Please respond to the argument being made before resorting to petty, hypocritical insults.
I didn't say anything about how happy Amazon is/isn't, and in fact I specifically avoided that with my "That doesn't mean [...]" sentence.
I always pictured it as one of those whole ass extra Chinese spears because the Seanchan are also whole ass extra.
This is the most simple and legible one I have found.
There is a book coming out in November about Jordan's writing of the series, and seems likely it will include much more personal information on Jordan.

However, it's too far off for you. Sorry about your loss.
Robert Berry out out an album years ago, A Soundtrack for the Wheel of Time. I had it on disc way back when but it looks like you can still get the music. Can I post an Amazon link here? Welp, let's try: https://www.amazon.com/Soundtrack-Wheel-Time-Robert-Berry/dp/B000TPYSFE
Here's a full series with cover arts similar to the e-books:

Google is more effective than Reddit for many things (though, I guess not, as you got the same result by getting me to google it for you.
Or there's the massively expensive but beautiful option:
This shows zo as available to me, also when visiting with a UK VPN.
This is the edition I have WoT paperbacks
Thanks for the info, quick google search shows a pre-order for it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Origins-Wheel-Time-Mythologies-Inspired/dp/1250860520
This is exactly the sort of thing I was talking about, although I hope it has much more content than the BWB. I guess I know what'll be at the top of this year's Christmas list.
I just got it! Everyone needs to get this app!!!!

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wot-compendium-unofficial/id1292084221?ls=1
There's an Android app which will let you select the book you're in so you can look up characters and still be spoiler-free.
I looked for it on the Japanese amazon. This looks to be a bit higher quality
