Try out the Merlin Bird ID app. I use it all the time, and it seems pretty accurate. (Hopefully this is allowed)

This time of the year, German goose looks like this.
Also I'm wondering what people's favorite type of toucan is around here. Here's a poll I created for fun to see which toucans people enjoy seeing the most.
Here's a reference if you're a little rusty on your toucan sub-species. I know it can be difficult choosing just one type as your favorite, but remember, toucan do it!
Western Europe.
It's literally called a 'little owl' by the way :)
Here's a recording of it's call. https://clyp.it/typ1ichw
Currently it skips this call and goes straight to loud/fast chirps (very annoying if you're trying to sleep).

Edit: I've been informed that this hummingbird is leucistic, not albino, but I disagree. http://birding.about.com/od/identifyingbirds/a/leucism.htm
You can't, at least not that I'm aware of. The important thing to remember is that if you have a bluebird house, to size the opening properly to allow bluebirds through but not Starlings. House sparrows will parasitize nests regardless, but if you size them correctly the starlings won't be able to fit. Mockingbirds and bluebirds also tend to prefer slightly different habitats, but mockingbirds can be jerks. I also did some personal (read, fun but not serious) research in the Galapagos on Mockingbirds. I wrote a bit of an overview of them in presentation form here: https://prezi.com/9o9amf9x3kbk/galapagos-mockingbirds/
I’ve only seen a bunting once and he was stunning! To save money I do a 50/50 mix of the nuts and sunflower seeds to stretch out the nut blend. These are the nuggets. I buy them in bulk from amazon and the woodpeckers love these. I got my first red headed last year! https://www.amazon.com/C-S-Hot-Pepper-Nuggets/dp/B001PLA4PE
We have a similar species here in Canada, which is almost identical to the European magpie. Some people find them to be pests but I think they are amazing birds. I taped these guys on my front lawn a couple of years ago teasing a jackrabbit: https://vimeo.com/14687584
Indeed I bought this scope off Amz for bird watching and it came with a phone adapter. It’s quite amazing.

Was just looking at bird books, there's also "Gifts of the Crow" for Corvidae fans, haven't read yet but 4.5 stars on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Gifts-Crow-Perception-Emotion-Thought/dp/1439198748/
These are vintage stamps, no longer issued by the Post Office. The good news is they are still valid as postage and you can pick up some of this stationery in my postal shop: Edelweiss Post
