Try out the Merlin Bird ID app. I use it all the time, and it seems pretty accurate. (Hopefully this is allowed)

There are also really neat phone apps, like this one:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.labs.merlinbirdid.app
It asks you a series of simple questions and then tells you what bird it is. I tried a bunch of websites and books to identify a very weird bird I once saw, and had zero luck-- but with that app the correct answer was the very first one!
Not sure what their mobile website is like, but have you heard of xeno-canto?
There's also Merlin but it might just be birds of NA, not sure.
I'd highly recommend the Merlin app for anyone who's interested in birds or birdsong. It has a feature that records audio and can identify any birds around that are making noise. It's really cool and gratifying to see the species pop up and learn more about your local birds.
I've used the Merlin Bird ID app. It has a huge database and multiple ways of searching.
FYI you can use the Merlin app to identify birds based on their appearance or even sometimes recording their song. It aggregates the data for conservationists as well. Really fun app!

So, this is nichey and maybe you're not in the target audience. But the Cornell Lab of Ornithology has an app called Merlin for identifying birds.
One section identifies birds by sound. You hear a bird singing, hit the button, and it takes a sound print and tells you the species. Seems very accurate based on using it while able to also see different birds as they're singing. If there's more than one bird singing, it lists them all, and highlights each name while that bird is singing. It's like following a conversation as the birds chatter at each other.
This app feels like science fiction to me, like I'm living in the future.
For those wondering "what bird did I just see?", I recommend Merlin .
It's developed by Cornell and so far it has been quite spot on
Gibt auch 'Merlin' für photo ID (und/oder sound ID und/oder description ID). Von der Cornell University, kostet auch nichts.

Die sagt auch Eurasian Jackdaw (Dohle) zu OPs pic.
I installed the Merlin Bird ID app recently and it helped me ID an unidentified bird from my previous post here. This bird was about 80% the size of a crow and had a pale coffee brown body. Turns out it's a Rufous Treepie! I'm super excited.

Sounds like it. I had a similar problem in my front yard. I treated it in a three-pronged approach.
After a few weeks, I noticed no additional tunnels in the area I first found them. But, in one area where the grub treatment was not applied (a path into the woods), I saw a couple tunnels. So, it looks like at least they (or some/one of them) moved out of the lawn area. I call that success.
It didn’t used to be, but it looks like they’ve overhauled it quite a bit and have switched to a “web based app” for PC and Android. It’s also more expensive but the visuals have approved.
The other app I use the most and includes songs and calls though is on Android: Merlin Bird ID. This one is free.

I just installed this great bird app but it doesn't list the curlew which is weird. Does it go by another name?

More info....I've been working on a new version of Merlin Bird ID with a computer vision powered photo identification tool. We collaborated with Cornell Tech and Caltech computer vision researchers on the model that processes the images and returns a list of species, all on the mobile app.
It is a free download as always, and as a bonus, we just released an additional 250 species, bringing the total number of species in the app to 654.
iOS version is available in the App Store right now, and Android version is rolling out to everyone in the next few hours.

Merlin is a great app. Link for the lazy.
We use the Roberts Bird Guide - Second Edition. There are also a lot of apps, but I find looking through a book more fun
Alternatively the Merlin Bird App is also great
Download the Merlin ID app. Took me about 5 seconds to ID it with a screenshot from your video. The app absolutely rocks.

If bird songs are music, I do. I run in the woods in the early mornings, and I've been working on learning how to identify songs and calls. I highly recommend it. I use the Merlin App and Birdnet.
I can listen to human music all day, but the song of a Wood Thrush is quite special.
There is an actually an app that can identify birds: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.labs.merlinbirdid.app&hl=en Worked fairly well on the dozen or so birds I tried it on.
Same app for Android: Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab of Ornithology
