Just so it's clear I do not represent the giant pipe cleaner industry :). I got that one at Michael's. here is a link: http://www.michaels.com/giant-chenille-stem-creatology/M10159670
Amazon has them too:

Edit: this is the one I got! Try searching “cat donut collar” quite a few pop up!
This is the one we used but it was my moms purchase and she splurged a little more than some can, I know there's cheaper options available as well!
That looks like the one called Da Bird. My cats love killing it! You can buy replacement feathers for it.
https://www.amazon.com/GAUTERF-Universal-Harness-Escape-Harnesses/dp/B07GFBQ4H6?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1
It took him a little bit to get used to it. We put it in him about 10 minutes each day, when we have time, and play with him with string & toys so that he realizes he can run around and still move even with his harness on. He also really loves outside and chasing leaves so I think that distracted him! Good luck!
As pretty as OP's is, from personal experience I'd recommend something with a wider bowl (cats don't like to touch their whiskers on things) and that is easier to clean. In other words, simpler is better, especially if you have hard water. (Trust me when I say the thrill wears off quickly when you're trying to scrape stubborn mineral deposits out of a bunch of different nooks and crannies with a razor blade.)
Personally, I have this one and am quite pleased with it.
Can also get a microwavable pad to put under cat beds on amazon. My elder statesman loves his.
there's a whole TON of pet cameras out there! its much cheaper if you opt for some random wifi camera instead of "pet camera", though. Unless you want the treat or laser point capabilities (like PetCube! my cat doesnt like lasers so didnt need to spend so much $$ haha). But if you want it under like $50, you should just google or amazon 1080P wifi security camera! I have laview pantilt camera at home, it was like $40 during prime day. it moves 360 degrees with motion tracking so its useful! has 2-way audio too! for reference I think it was this one
I am not certain if it's the one that the OP has, but this is the one that I own for my Sweetheart.
Strollers are definitely a fun way for indoor kitties who don't take well to harnesses to get some outside time!
Oh, I’ve heard of that kitty (Oscar) and love that story! I’m also a nurse, so it’s held a special place in my heart. There’s a book written about it, “Making Rounds With Oscar” if anyone’s interested! Thanks for reminding me of this story :)
Got Neosporin or equivalent for those scratches? Very cute kitten. Start training them that touching their paws is OK. I recommend clipper that are little scissors with a little round notch in them like these: https://www.amazon.com/Pets-Professional-Clipper-Essential-Grooming/dp/B0734MG8CY
Also I recommend teaching them that brushing is good. I recommend a "slicker brush".
Your little one is adorable!
here one is on Amazon for half the price. it doesn't actually mention being for cats, but most of the reviews say it's good for exactly that. immediately added to cart!
Most have velcro. Some have no "closures" but are designed to pull over the head & front legs first, then stretch back to cover the rear legs. Like this: https://smile.amazon.com/RYPET-Small-Dog-Pajamas-Pack/dp/B08K2WY617/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1OW0HZPEESZ5G&dchild=1&keywords=cat+pajamas+for+cats+only&qid=1621781294&sprefix=Cat+pa%2Caps%2C303&sr=8-2
If you search for "cat pajamas for cats only" or "cat surgery recovery suits" on Amazon, you'll get quite a few hits and can search for something that might work.
On the flipside, you may want to try baby/toddler clothes instead. Snap & button closures might ultimately prove more difficult to get out of. Once you find something that fits, you could "catify" it by cutting out holes for his tail and potty access. A quick stitch around the raw edges would prevent fraying.
I got this cat fountain for under 20 bucks and it's got two modes "fountain" with two spigots, or "pool" where the water bubbles up from in the middle. It comes with two filters for it too.
Yes! We have four and the blank ones are definitely the most affectionate. Even our ragdoll isn't as snuggly. She only goes to my 6 year old daughter. Bean, or grumpy old man, sits in my husband's dresser all day and only comes out to eat to harass you to turn in the bathroom faucet.
These cat bags are wonderful for vet visits! My cats are so much less anxious when.l they have to take a car ride or go or the vet.
my cats did this and i got automated timed feeder to go off at 5 am (when they wanted food) and now they associate the feeder as "the hand who feeds" the first week of having it it was THROWN across the room by my cat trying to open it to get the food out. It works SO well. Programming it was a little annoying but https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AUYLVU8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 something like this.
My cat still loves all power cords, especially my laptop power cords. The only thing that has stopped her is this: https://www.amazon.com/Creative-Co-Op-Chandelier-Length-Natural/dp/B00CAZ48G0
Mainly because it no longer looks like a power cord...
Not 100% sure but it looks like this one
If you want, my cats absolutely love this....

You are an amazing person doing this for you and your fur baby. Good job.
I bought some outdoor heating pads from K&H Pet Products on Amazon. They are about $29/ea for a 12x18”, which fit snugly inside the storage bins I used to create these shelters. I also use insulting foam sheets from Lowe’s (~$8) and cut to size to line the interior. I think they may be out of stock now but I will try to find the original I purchased and link here. There are many other brands that are comparable though and designed for outdoor use!

It’s a silicone cover for the keyboard! You can find them on amazon and they have tons of different designs. They keep spills out and make typing on a Mac keyboard so much quieter. Here is the one I have.
This is the box I got:
PetSafe ScoopFree Automatic Self Cleaning Hooded Cat Litter Box - Ultra, Top-Entry - Purple or Taupe - Covered 2nd Generation - Includes Disposable Tr https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X3XFB6K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_Hd9zhVDQPixpT
Then I got their reusable tray so I don’t have to buy the disposable ones:
PetSafe ScoopFree Reusable Cat Litter Tray with 4.5 lb of Premium Blue Non Clumping Crystal Litter - Compatible with All ScoopFree Automatic Self Clea https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J5GE3GQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_iMiWTgXrgIBkP
After I ran out of the free litter they send, I just buy the Fresh Step crystal liter from Walmart for like $15 a bag and it last a month. It’s a decent expense to set up, but in the long run the time I’ve saved keeping her box clean, the no smell, all of that is worth it. Plus my girl will hold it if her box isn’t clean enough and get sick everywhere, which isn’t a concern anymore. I work long shifts and live between two houses so it’s much easier for my situation to keep her healthy and cared for.
Amazon! Here’s the link. only issue I’ve noticed is one of the latches on Sebastian’s isn’t great. Could have something to do with him being 11 pounds. 😅 so I taped it shut.
Oh I'm not recommending a plug-in. This is just a thermal mat that keeps the body heat from the cat in the mat while he's on it.
Bought this for my cat so I can give her a fresh section every week or two after she annihilates the prior.
https://www.amazon.com/Brown-Kraft-Paper-inches-Single/dp/B073V64PBB
I also have a ladder permanently set up in my room now...after finding she liked to perch on it.
I bought this one! It's soft and adjustable; should fit him for a while. Getting them used to it is a struggle! (And getting them to walk on lead is even harder...he just wants to do his own thing!)
If you want something else that your cat will love, get a heated cat mat. There are now 4 of those in my house for my 3 cats and they're pretty much on them 80% of the day.
cat grass works. I rigged a grow system with just kitchen dishes. I would recommend starting with half of the alloted bag. the 1 bag made more than 9x9" patch of grass. my cat actually couldn't keep up. the rest got bitter and died. 10/10 would do it again.
For the gracious redditors who have messaged me about donations, please use this paypal donation link to spread out the cost of his upcoming vet checkup fee. Any amount is fine, and we'll post a sign of our gratitude in Mr. Cat's ward box with your message or username.
I also found this heated cat house on Amazon. It is cheaper and heated. Luckily, I do have an outdoor outlet for the heated part.
Wildlife biologist checking in! Can confirm. I work at an Environmental Non-profit at the moment, but I've worked for my state and did a lot of research in grad school on hunting and the overall impacts of it.
Anyone wanting to read more on the topic, I have a good book suggestion that looks at the whole picture. Sort of dry, but available free here.
Edit: also here is Aldo Leopold's Game Managment book.
if you give him his food as all one meal a day, he's attacking the dog food bag because he's hungry after a couple hours. Use puzzle feeders and toys to break his small portion up into activities for him to hunt for his food over time, so he doesn't eat it all at once, or invest in a timed dispenser, so he can get several small snacks throughout the day if you're not home. just an idea.

I too like to learn with my belly. Sometimes I learn about food by eating it. Other times I try to learn about QFT by laying on my copy of Pesking and Schroeder.
I just remembered that they make a plush kitty that has a heartbeat. We used it when we fostered kittens.

My big boy loves nail files (ones like these). No idea why, but if you get one out to do your nails he goes nuts until you give it to him and then he cuddles it.
Just so ya'll are aware that this awesome kitty tower (I have the same one) Amazon sells these for a whopping $81!
You're welcome crazy cat people <3
Here's the Amazon link, it's from the direct seller. You could also get it from their website but it's like $20 more expensive for some reason.

She's supposed to have loads of fur, she's a Norwegian Forest Cat! From the other pictures, it looks like she lives in Norway too and, likes to walk in the forest so, I'd say she has just the right amount of fur.
This is the childproof lock that I got after my little demon cat taught herself to open the refrigerator door. I have childproof locks on the drawers in my house for the same reason.
It’s actually a whole scratching post! It was made by my friend’s Dad, and he was generous enough to donate one to Holly’s campaign.

Get an enzyme cleaner like Nature's Miracle They break down the enzymes in cat pee and it does science stuff (someone else can explain it better than me). I swear by this stuff
My first impression after seeing the picture: Wisp.
She just looks so wispy :)
My second thought, since "Wisp" is not a very practical cat name: "Willow". Short for "Willow the Wisp", a joke on "will-o'-the-wisp".
(and my third thought, after reading the other responses: Brina_Bo_Bina included "Willow" in her list of suggestions as well. I think that this kitty's destiny has been chosen.)
Thanks for the answer! I kept reading down the thread and found a link pointing out how the drag of doing that allows the cat to reach terminal velocity (above a certain height, something like 7-8 stories I guess) and relax, so the damage gets more evenly distributed.
I think cats are able to rotate even from the height of the top of a refrigerator, as I'm pretty sure I've seen my cousin's cats do that.
=)
In case you find this interesting...
According to my Latin textbook, the adjective "augustus, augusta, augustum" originally only applied to religious things and meant "venerable" or "revered". Then Octavian took the title "Augustus" in 27 BCE. And later he had the month Sextilius renamed after him, like Julius Caesar got Quitilius renamed July.

So, are you willing to have a cat for the next 15- 20 years?
Number one - You are young, cats live for a long time, you'll want to move to college, etc and you need to keep that bond with your cat. You don't want to be dumping it on your parents as soon as you are ready to move house (imagine how the cat would feel when their companian just ups and leaves on them). Please be 100 percent sure that you are going to love, worship and adore this cat forever, or i would hold off for a few more years until you are better settled.
Number two - If you have thought this through and are willing to have a cat for life, then go to a shelter or pet rescue centre, don't buy from a pet shop. Most rescue pets are de-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated and are MUCH, MUCH cheaper than a pet bought cat. (Rescue cats are usually less than $150 for everything. A petshop cat can cost over $150, desexing is around $200, vaccinations $200+, registering, microchipping etc the costs will pile up) I'd think about getting a young, adult cat intead of a kitten, they are cheaper, require less time and training but come with the same amount of cuteness and love.
Number three - Cat's need stuff. * one bowl for water, one for food * cat food. (Get the shelter to explain to you about how much food to feed your cat) * one litter tray with clean litter that needs to be scooped EVERY DAY * one or more scratching posts (or they will be scratching the legs of your furniture) * TOYS! Lot's of toys and entertainment * Soft, warm, washable bedding. * sturdy cat carrier for vet visits.
Number four. When you first get your kitty, set aside a butt-load of time to be with them, get used to their routine, their likes and dislikes. They are your new best friend, take the time to create that bond and you'll never be alone again.
Good luck, let us know what you do.
There are a lot of decorative fabric bowls and baskets out there. :) Not saying that’s definitely what it is, but here’s an example: https://www.amazon.com/Goodpick-3pack-Small-Basket-Bathroom/dp/B082R2R4HV/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=goodpick+3+pack+small+basket&qid=1625968734&sprefix=goodpick+3pack+&sr=8-3
Yep! I tried to take mine to one, but she hates existence and scared the groomer so she did not get groomed lol.
Some name ideas:
The pirate Long John Silver famously kept a shoulder parrot he called “Captain Flint”. CAPTAIN FLINT!
Also, Parrots belong to the Psitticaformes group of birds, you could call him Sid/Siddy
Also a pro tip, get that kitten some lysine! You can buy it in powder or gel, and you could buy it from the vet but you can get it cheaper yourself online, ie amazon. That powder will last you at least six months, which is about how long he’ll need it. It boosts their immune system, and I recommend it for any kitten that has a rough start in life. You just sprinkle a little on their food. It tastes/smells a bit fishy, so they actually like it.
K&H makes an outdoor weathersafe thin hard plastic mat that heats based on applied weight. It doesn't get Hot, just warm enough. They're used mostly in small rabbit and chicken farms, but can also be used for cats and hamsters, etc. And it's safe to put a thin layer of cloth over it.
I don't work for K&H. (I know I sound like a sales bot.) I have an outdoor cat that's been through winters before. This is what I got for her on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NVC7DO It has lasted 2 winters so far with no problems. Best of luck with your new little friends! I'm sure they'll.. Warm Up to you quickly.

This is basically you just having a prejudice against cats. You can also get toxoplasmosis from handling almost all food. It's easily curable if you do contract it. So basically a non issue. Also. Just learn how to google and you'll find a ton of info. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/toxoplasmosis/symptoms-causes/syc-20356249
Canned pumpkin (no additives) can help with constipation but certainly check with you vet first. Also, check to see if he's properly hydrated. If not, he may benefit from the administration of subcutaneous fluids. Personally, I'd get him back to the vet.
Technically its against CL rules to sell pets. They do allow a small rehoming fee. Unfortunately "small" is a relative term that sellers/buyers exploit.

Get them a cat heating pad or two. We have several scattered around the house and they are cat magnets. https://www.amazon.com/Pet-Products-Thermo-Kitty-Heated-Mocha/dp/B000S9M2U4/
Do not use a heating pad designed for humans, they can get too hot.
Yes, well yelling at complete strangers to fix your problem is not really the way to get help on Reddit, but you are lucky I care more about the cat than your lack of manners. Here are a couple of things to try:
Feliway MultiCat Calming Diffuser Kit (30 Day Starter Kit), Vet Recommended, Reduce Fighting and Conflict Among Cats https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AVHPFDS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_qRO3FbTFTQ19
If that does not work, then try a product called “Licks”. They have triptophan from turkey, and my vet said she didn’t see any ingredients that were harmful. You just “squirt” rub the gravy- gel on your cats arm, they lick it off, and it chills them out . Start with half a packet, as this really works on my cat and he’s not just a holy terror but he’s 19 lbs.
Licks - Zen Cat Calming - Cat Anxiety Relief- Cat Calming- LiquiPaks - 30 Use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SLBMLR0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_EXO3FbZK3YCN2
If that doesn’t work, talk to your vet about kitty prosac- sometimes when a new feral cat starts “living” and marking around our house, we use prosac for a “reset”. 2-3 weeks of a really low dose helps my cat “ get over” the fact that someone is invading his territory.
Good luck- I hope all of the kitties do ok. Let us know if anything helped.
I honestly originally bought it on Amazon as a joke gift, but they seem to really like it. Both cats were virtually hypnotized! I'll make a video tomorrow.
I've been putting them on since they were kittens, so it doesn't really bug them anymore. They eventually fall off and I reattach new ones probably once a month. It works for them, but it definitely doesn't work for all cats. I buy the soft claw kit on Amazon . It's a little pricey, but they save my back from being scratched up when they hang out on my shoulders.
Is this it? Petlinks Dragon Flyer Wand Cat Toy
PetSmart has it on clearance for $5.40, unavailable for shipping. Chewy.com has it for the same price as Amazon.
I recommend getting a water fountain - cats love running water, much better than still water, so a fountain encourages them to drink. My cats love this one: Cupcake Fountain
I can at least help you with your first question, I use Relay for Reddit (Pro Version).
WoW also looks mike mine! I don't know how to share picture tho.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/qzqxh1qks4a6q56/2012-07-07%2021.18.38.jpg I tried. But her name is Fiona and she did the same when i was sick. what sweeties

Looks like a water dish - either the ones with the jugs on top that keep the water filled, or possibly some kind of fountain. Something like this
Definitely not a Norwegian Forest. Norwegians have a "lions mane" and have long hair all over their bodies. It looks like your kitty only has long hair on his tail which is really cool!
Any chance we could get some more photos of your amazing kitty!?

Mine is named Han Solo. Yes, I bought the Chewbacca costume from Target.
I posted this yesterday but it didn't get much traction: https://www.reddit.com/r/cats/comments/498wst/waffles_live_stream/
There should be another post tomorrow after he goes to the vet. You can keep an eye on my posts or setup an alert on IFTTT.
Ouch. I'm not sure if you've heard this, but cats survive better if they fall from higher floors, because they don't try to land on their feet (I think)
I hope you don't mind me sharing, sorry about your cat.

Here ya go:
Covering the head makes it more obvious that the body is orange. It's one thing to look a little less grey, but that's not this, the body is very orange. Also a little less grey isn't orange. A grey object with added warm light doesn't make it completely orange. Look at the grass, it's varies slightly from shade to sun, but is fundamentally the same color, and anyone can see that.
Here is a grey cat basking in direct late day sunlight, and not one part of him looks orange, except for the very edges. There are some reds and oranges on his body, but you can very clearly see that his fur itself is grey.
The problem I have with the suggestion that a grey cat in the sun looks orange, is that would mean all grey cats would look orange in the sun, which is simply absurd.
I don't have one of him sneaking around with the rug on unfortunately, but I do have one from another time of him sliding the rug around! He loves to steal it and slid across the floor with it or hide under it. He's kinda nuts. I gave up on trying to keep things where they belong in my house, he steals EVERYTHING.
If you choose broth, you must find one without onion or garlic, as these are poisonous to cats. When I had a cat in the same state, I had to make my own broth because I could not find one in the store without those ingredients. Fortunately, making broth is easy, just time-consuming.
Buy a small chicken for roasting. It will say on the label if it is suitable for that if you aren't sure what is. Take out the packet of giblets/neck and save in fridge. Put it in a pan in the oven covered with foil and cook it at 325 F until the temp is 165, usually 45m to an hour. Do not season the chicken at all. Cats with fluid issues do not need extra salt, etc. This is also why rotisserie pre-baked chickens from the store are a no-go.
Allow the chicken to cool. Tear off all the meat. You can save some for you for other recipes, or puree the meat for the cat. Once you have a pile of bones and skin, get the biggest pot you have, dump in in the bones, skin, and the giblet/neck pack you saved. Fill with water. Simmer for 4 hours, removing the foam from the top as needed. Run through a colander or sieve to separate out the bones and other things. You can simmer longer to reduce it more before you take out the bones. This can be frozen in ice cube trays. That way you can take out a cube, melt it in the microwave, and give it to the cat.
hey- when we go away, we hide treats around giving him a little scavenger hunt (he could find them all in the first 30 minutes, i don't know). We also got this video off ebay for a couple dollars- called "Cat Sitter" and it rotates between scenes of an aquarium and something else, a rainforest or something and our cat will watch that and be amused. i've heard a radio may help. also, they have these toys that you can hide treats in and there are settings making it easier or harder for your cat to get the treats out- so this could be a couple of hours of fun. The video is here: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=cat+sitter&_sacat=See-All-Categories
Hope this helps!
Sorry to hear you and your grandma will not be living in the same house, and doubly sorry for her condition. My grandma suffered it before she died, and my wife's granny is now in a home with dementia. It not only hurts the person but everyone who loves them.
If she can get internet and WiFi then I'd recommend pluto tv. There's a channel called Cat's 24/7... it's what you described. BUt i'll assume she doesn't have internet, or there will not be anyone that can operate a computer for her, so I'll make a DVD of some of my favorite YouTube videos. I'll PM you when I'm done.
Best thing you can do is check with your vet for a flea treatment. Bathing MIGHT get them all, but a flea treatment is the most effective method. Also, you may need to treat your house if thorough bathing isn’t doing it. If you have carpet, they’re likely in there and you may need to treat/bomb. Also, if this is an indoor/outdoor cat, you’re always going to have to treat them. Frequent bathing alone isn’t going to keep them flea and disease free. I’ve been using this with success for a long time:
Advantage II Flea Prevention and Treatment for Large Cats, Over 9 Pounds https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N7DEFH6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_14TD754JXCRPNHD7QEDW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Good luck.
I agree with the other poster that said cable covers. I can't tell you how many cord my kitten chewed through. Once I ordered these covers they lost interest and it has not been a problem since. I included a link to the cord covers that I bought and they are pretty cheap and they work.
Best of Luck!

Or spiked plastic mats
That why they have their own lol. Cooling foam, its very comfortable 😂. God forbid someone have allergies, makes them a monster. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SYYWQKK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Also have fluffy blankets all their own.
Heating pad on low or medium for her to lay on, this keeps her nice and comfy and helps loosen mucus and lower any pain she might be in.
Shut her in the bathroom with you while you shower. The hot steam helps clear her sinuses.
Similarly^ if you have a nebulizer (like for asthma) you can put plain saline solution into it and use it like normal, if not, give her a drop or two of saline in each nostril a few times a day. It’ll help clear her up, it’ll make her sneeze but that’s good, it’s helping clear out the sick boogies (buy this kind, it’s in a suuuper helpful bottle + it’s safe for kitties)
Tap on her sides like you’re burping a tiny baby (but both sides at once so you don’t knock her over lol), that’ll help loosen some of the grossness in her system too
My babies were 6wk old rescues when I got them and they were suuuuper sick with a URI - these were some of the things that helped us a bunch :)
Cats are not like dogs, get him plenty of toys to play with. I so recommend a laser pointer automatic kitty toy it comes on once an hour for 15 minutes both my cats love it! My cat is home all day with my other cat from about 9-6. They have toys and a cat tower as well as the automatic cat laser link below
There aren’t any solar powered cooling mats I’ve found but tons of other cooling mats that should stay relatively cool in the shade by design with the gel inside. There are also ones you can put in the freezer that may be a nice option to try!

Stop overpopulation. Spay and neuter.
You can look into getting a spot cleaner like this one. I'm not sure what is avaiable where you live, but with a little research I'm sure you could find something similar. It's basically just a vacuum cleaner that sprays hot water and a cleaner and then sucks it back up with all the dirt and such.
What kind of toys does he have? Cats will choose what they like (they never want our advice). Make sure you have interactive toys... things that will tire him.
This ball tower thing is a hit with our cats.
Find other toys that might keep him bouncing around. And, of course, throw some big empty boxes in the garage... as they all play with the boxes anyways.
Did the place you got him from ever try socializing him with other cats? He might settle down if he has a feline buddy to hang around with (because humans are boring). If you try this, I would start with talking to the shelter people about his history and if they ever successfully put him with others. They may be able to help you match him with an acceptable playmate.
Keep trying... show him love and patience. With time, he may settle down. Thank you for giving him the chance. The fact that he's had homes and been returned shows him nothing is permanent. He needs to see that he's staying and that you care about him.
It’s just a water jug that refills the black tray at the bottom when he drinks it. Just so he gets semi-fresh water frequently and we don’t have to refill a small bowl. Here it is on Amazon PetSafe Healthy Pet Water... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002RT8M84?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
