Update: Turns out, NordVPN was the culprit, after reinstalling the software, I've had no issues, and half the errors from my devices had disappeared. I think it wasn't uninstalled properly, and Control was one of the catalysts
Amazon Brazil has 2 copies. I would buy, but it's expensive for Brazilian reality.
Amazon Brazil, last 2 copies.
I would buy, but unfortunately it's too expensive to Brazilian reality.
Yeah, in addition to the main content of object files there are also thousands of tales and novel length series/canons such as the amazing "There is no Antiemetics Division" which has been compiled into a book.
Steam isn't DRM, Steamworks is the DRM devs can choose to use on the Steam client. There are lots of games on Steam that will start up and run without the Steam client running at all. This is just a partial list https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/The_Big_List_of_DRM-Free_Games_on_Steam
Disable exploit protection for the game in DirectX 12 mode on Windows 10[29] From the Start menu, click on Settings. Find Exploit protection through the search bar. Click on the Program settings tab. Click on the + icon next to Add program to customize and select Choose exact file path. Locate and select <path-to-game>\Control_DX12.exe, confirm by clicking on Open. Scroll down to find Control flow guard (CFG) in the newly opened window. Check the Override system settings box and toggle it Off, then Apply the change. https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Control#Save_game_data_location
Why bother with all of this pointles jumping through the hoops. You already correctly deduced that it's TAA blurring the crap out of everything and that can be easily fixed by disabling it via cheat engine
https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Control#Visual_tweaks_cheat_table
in this table it's called Screenspace AA
For wider than 21:9 resolutions see https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Control#Multi-monitor
Otherwise you can set your display and render resolutions by editing renderer.ini in the game's directory.
BTW it's ridiculous that superultrawide resolutions are not supported out of the box because when enabled with the patcher they work perfectly and the game looks incredible in 32:9. I just wish I could get DLSS support instead of having to use a lower render resolution to make it run with all the eye candy.
I also have this monitor, and the multi-monitor fix at https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Control#Multi-monitor works for me. Unfortunately I can't get the game to render higher than 26-27 FPS at my native res, despite the fact I have two SLI'd Quadro RTX 8000s.
Okay man, thanks, I'll try those! And go to this site and look for the How to Disable Motion Blur tutorial. It's pretty easy
Hijacking top comment..
There's a fix! BTW the motion blur seems tied to FPS.. the higher the FPS the lower the motion blur it seems. Regardless theres this fix that works (dx11 only)

It's pretty easy. Download the patcher under the "Multi-monitor" section on this guide:
https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Control
You'll use it to patch a specific file for DX12. Go into the game settings after patching and you should have the correct aspect ratio available. I had to flip between Borderless and fullscreen to get it to show up.
>Modding with Steam Workshop is 10x easier that manually.

So your whole "sell it for about $175 each" plan isn't all that legal.
I'm so glad I picked up one last year when it was discounted. Such a great artbook.
In terms of getting one now, ordering on Japanese amazon looks the most promising. They had 2 of them a few days ago but they're gone now. I think you might need to make a japanese amazon account, but even though they aren't sure whether they will get stock again, they will apparently let you order it anyway and they will only charge you when and if they ship it. ://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/3869931051/?tag=jpboxsets-22
I can recommend this book
It’s got a proper control vibe based In the SCP universe. Really weird and interesting story
I wish everyone would buy this on Gog instead of Steam.
We all get caught up in this Epic vs. Steam battle, but honestly Epic and Valve are both shitty companies.
GOG is GOD TIER and honestly the only store-front that is worth the money. They actually give you the game installer FFS.
Remember when you used to buy a game, and you were given the actual game? GOG.COM Remembers...
Remedy likes to hide things like this. In Alan Wake, there is a QR code that links to this image as well as others. Pretty sure that is one of them
EDIT: Looks like they are only in the PC version. Xbox version doesn't have any hidden QR codes. https://alanwake.fandom.com/wiki/QR_Codes
If you have the Control "Art & Making Of" book, there are several interviews with the game directors, level designers, and environment artists that directly point to The Southern Reach trilogy as a direct inspiration for the worldbuilding and tone of Control. So much of the dev team read and loved this series, so I'm not surprised that a lot of the same ideas made it into the game.
This is from the Control "Art & Making Of" book.
The book talks about SO many cool concepts and ideas that didn't make it into the game, and this one stood out to me. Apparently the idea was that you'd not only have to acquire keycards but also the correct punch pattern to unlock the doors to different sectors. Would've made this feel so much more like a metroidvania hub world type game where you can freely enter new sectors as you discover the punchkey patterns on bodies or bosses.
No worries! The loomis method is a way of breaking up the face into components to make it easier to draw. It was created by Andrew loomis Drawing the head and hands . This is an example video of someone drawing faces using this method loomis example . I started using this method for some of the darling drawing I did on this subreddit and it make it easier to plan out the portions a bit more realistically.
They do change color! It comes with a remote where you can choose what color and brightness. They just stick on the back of the tv and are powered via USB.

Probably your best bet is to get a physical copy (links below).
Look closely at the XBOX page. There are 57 items listed. 38 are avatar accessories. There are 14 game videos and 2 DLCs available for free, plus 3 themes for a couple of bucks.
But no link to purchase the game itself, unless I'm completely misreading the page.
There was a music licensing issue a couple years back and it caused the game to be delisted from digital storefronts at the time. That's been remedied (no pun intended) now for PC storefronts apparently, but still no Xbox.
I went down the same rabbit hole recently after playing Control and had my interest piqued to play Alan Wake. Haven't gotten around to picking up a physical copy as yet.
Amazon link for the lazy
also digital copy from amazon, somehow (It says it plays on XBOX One... so...)

It’s a fantastic read, I’m personally thinking of reading it again after I finish Salem’s Lot. Sorry you couldn’t find it digitally but I can assure you the physical copy is worth it.
