I suspect it is a little less practical than that.
It should work just like a water pipe, and I'm guessing, for full effect, you pop on the cover, turn on the air, and the smoke just pours out.
A fun party device for when an oz was $20, and a bunch was burned.
Also similar to the 5th century Sythian hot boxing practice. (pg 7)

Coffee Grinder. I've been using one for years. Here is what I posted a little while back somewhere else.
It's cheaper. A good quality hand grinder can get expensive. Plus you have to clean them when the get gunked up. I've had a Mr. Coffee grinder for several years. No cleaning and it still works great. The lid captures keif that I occasionally collect.
You can grind 1/4 ounce in about 5 seconds. You get a fine or coarse grind just by how long you hold the button. It just takes a few taps. The most common thing people do when trying out a coffee grinder is to hold the button too long and turn their weed into powder. Just tap tap tap and check it. You will get to know how fine the grind is by the sound.
It's a lot easier on the hands. Just tap the button. I used to overfill my hand grinder all the time. Then I had to struggle to turn it or open it up and remove some weed.
I don't get why anyone uses hand grinders anymore. I think the only advantage they have is portability and aesthetics.
Apparently the kids on /r/trees don't appreciate jazz, so I cross-posted this here instead. >Dope & Glory: Reefer Songs is a collection of '30s and '40s vocal jazz music with marijuana as the single defining theme. New Orleans, the original reefer city, is represented here through Louis Armstrong among others, and Chicago and the jive culture center of Harlem are conjured and referenced by the likes of the archetypal "reefer man," Milton "Mezz" Mezzrow. Marijuana is mentioned in every song, whether as "reefer," "jive," "weed," "viper," "golden leaf," or "Texas tea." There's a certain levity to hearing Julia Lee sing about trying "spinach" in "Spinach Song," or the grooviness of Cab Calloway's semi-sinister "The Man From Harlem." But the jazz music on Dope and Glory stands on its own as sublime, uplifting, and influential regardless of the theme. For one thing, Dope and Glory proves how pervasive reefer culture was amid the jazz scene. Luminaries accepted by mainstream America -- like Benny Goodman ("Texas Tea Party"), Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole ("Hit That Jive Back"), and Tommy Dorsey -- appear throughout the collection.
Ounce swapping. Fucking genius.
This should work:
Archer is great, it's on Amazon Prime.
I've also started watching Pluto.tv on my FireTV. They have science/nature/food/music documentary channels. Really, it's just curated YouTube videos. Oh, and there's an MST3K channel.
I spent an hour or two trying to find a product to up my joint rolling game, and landed on this: Cigarette Rolling Machine Loader Roller Filler. Made For RAW & CONES Brand 1 1/4 Cones. I considered a few electronic options, they all had mixed reviews. This thing is great though, works perfectly.
You'll be fine. Lift off what you can but don't risk scratching your screen over what remains. Whatever is still on the screen will lift right off with plenty of ethanol (150 proof+) or isopropyl alcohol (preferably 91/99% depending on availability). If you have a dabber with silicone covers, use that (with the covers on) to basically squeegee the shatter off your screen and onto some parchment/pyrex (set aside for alcohol to fully evaporate before further use). For the last remains, just use more alcohol and q-tips and you should be good as new.

Here is what I've found in my similar experience: * Set a solid sleep schedule. This can make a profound difference in your entire life. I too valued the flexibility, but I really can't overstate how wonderful I felt when I started sleeping at the same time every night and getting up early. * Don't smoke before going to bed. I sleep at midnight, generally, so I don't smoke after 10pm, otherwise I might stay up late and I wake up groggy. * Give yourself something to do. Whatever you love doing, wake up and jump into it. Take away all the barriers that will stop you from doing that thing instantly after you wake up. If you need to sleep hugging your bass for that to work, do it. Don't smoke till you're satisfied with having accomplished something already. Read "The War of Art" for more on this. * Put away your computer. Unless you love programming, you don't need it to do what you love. Even though I can write faster on a keyboard, I often put it away to write things out by hand because then I focus more on the writing and not on my internet browser. Use site-blocking extensions to your browser to keep reddit out of reach during certain hours of the day, or all the time. Put a password on your computer like "stopwastingtimeandplaythebass" or "haveyouachievedsomethingyetorareyoujusthigh".
Had a lot of experience with this.

If you're looking for something with modern fixins, check out Headspace. They have a site/app that comes with 10 day trial for mindfulness meditation. I've found mindfulness in general to be helpful with anxiety. Rather than trying to avoid negative thoughts, mindfulness is a method of observing -- starting with your breath and physical sensations, and ultimately ending with being aware or mindful of the present, rather than anxious about the future.
Here's a wormhole of opioid receptor agonist science.
Catnip oil. Big Pharma would lose billions if this got out, or was researched properly.
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/13564181_Nepetalactone_A_New_Opioid_Analgesic_from_Nepeta_caesarea_Boiss
There are hints of the truth here and there...
''Surgery: Catnip seems to be able to slow down the central nervous system (CNS), causing sleepiness and other effects. Anesthesia and some other drugs used during and after surgery also slow down the CNS. There is a concern that using catnip along with these drugs might slow down the CNS too much. Stop using catnip at least two weeks before a scheduled surgery.''
https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-831/catnip
The theory and evidence seem to point to people needing much less opiods if catnip oil is combined with pain meds. Big Pharma does not want anyone to know.
Junkies could maybe ''need'' only half the drugs they normally ''need'', thus reducing crime, and opioid drug trafficking by half. It might be a fantastic withdrawal/detox/rehab tool, too.
The science is not there yet, simply put. But I agree with the sentiment.
The RSO/whatever oil treatment has no scientific backing, because they are mostly testing chemical by chemical, not testing the concentrate. (mostly)
I would recommend reading this, its the 2013 Cannabinoid Conference, and they put out all the material from the conference for free(research, talks, etc): https://archive.org/stream/CannabinoidConference2013#page/n59/mode/2up
So needless to say, a lot of recent important work is featured in there.
Started smoking at night to specifically avoid nightmares/vivid af dreams, but had to stop for a drug test. I use 25mg Unisom sleep tablets now (with doxylamine succinate, not benadryl!) and it works just like a charm. I don't get nightmares like I did when I took other sleeping pills, and it works a lot quicker than melatonin.
--> Amazon link for the meds: https://www.amazon.com/Unisom-Sleep-Tabs-32-Count/dp/B000GGJC7K
I will say tho, pls pls pls don't habitually rely on benadryl, or products with benadryl in it for sleep. Too much use can cause dementia (anticholinergic drugs block the action of acetylcholine). No use loosing your noodle over good sleep.

Suggest fully exhaling before inhaling (like a comfortable sigh, not squeezing out every last bit of air, or she'll probably choke). If your alveoli are already full of air before you inhale, most of the smoke won't be absorbed.
Also, suggest breath holding for around 10 seconds. Holding too long is actually less effective; 10 seconds is optimal. Here's a research article on this, for anyone interested:
I recently received one of these as a gift and it is A+, only issue is you have to do split second taps, 1 tap = rough cut, 2 taps = medium, 3 = fine, 4 = straight powder. But it's all me and my wife use to grind anymore:
https://www.amazon.com/Hometown-General-Electric-Tobacco-Shredder/dp/B004QJ81R0
I find that if I'm reading non-challenging stuff (fiction of any kind, comic books) weed aids immensely. If I'm reading something that I'd consider "betterment", weed only prevents me from truly learning all I can. Like right now I'm reading Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, and it's not the sort of book I can process stoned. Last year I read The Power of Habit, same thing.
Just in case anyone still cares:

You could try Charles Duhigg's "The Power of Habit".
It contains a ton of information on the science of habit formation, as well as techniques and insight on how to apply it and achieve your goals.
I was suspicious at first, but it's more pop-sci than it is "self-help", and I've been finding it very useful for dealing with a situation that seems quite similar to yours.
Well, I am personally involved with a form of Tibetan Buddhism. There's a book by a teacher in that tradition called "Entering the Diamond Way" by Ole Nydahl which resonates well with some and not so much with others. The teacher tends to be a bit outspoken, and his style might be perfect for some but may not rub certain people the way they want.
Otherwise, there are many other teachers/books to choose from - people like Thich Nhat Hahn have many books, Shunryu Suzuki has a book called "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind" which is generally highly regarded, obviously the Dalai Lama has many books that are perhaps less about meditation and more about compassion and kindness, etc. Those are some off the top of my head.
I imagine philosophical literature would be hella interesting too, like Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, or any other work by notable minds of philosphy/psychology. On a similar vein, I always enjoy reading dark Eastern European literature, like Kafka, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, or Chekhov to name a few, but that may just be my own personal taste. Also, I haven't really done much reading while high, so I'm not sure whether these would be too difficult to maintain focus on while toking, but either way, I suppose it's worth a shot. I know I'm certainly going to start trying to do this more often!
First book I recommend to any programmer, no matter what they're working on, is The Pragmatic Programmer. Excellent stuff.
If you don't get a shot at low-level coding at work, get yourself an Arduino kit and just hack away. Apparently the language is similar to / based on the C programming language. I use C every day.
To do well with embedded systems, real-time, device driver, or kernel type stuff, you have to really, really, really, understand what the hardware is doing. I was able to learn gradually because I started programming when there was one CPU and no cache memory. Each hardware operation was straightforward. Now with multi-core CPUs, multi-level cache memory, multiple software threads, it becomes a bit more complex. But something like the Arduino will teach you the basics, and you can build on that.
Every day I have to think asynchronously - any operation can happen any time, and if they share memory or other resources, they can't step on each other. It can get hairy - but it's really fun to reason about and I have a blast.
There's a lot more I'm sure, but get started with some low-level hacking and you can build from there.
If you want to get meta, many of the best programmers I know love Godel, Escher, Bach because it widens your mental horizons. It's not about programming per se, but I found that it helps my programming at a meta level. (and it'll give you a lot to meditate on when you're baked!)

Quick video about American inflation
More in-depth Rothbard article about money and inflation
When you understand the history of money and inflation, you will feel a deep sense of dread and frustration. Our economy (and the global economy) has been gradually suffocating for over a century. Almost all market activity has been distorted by the process.
Like every other tax, inflation acts to determine the individual and business policies we are all forced to follow. It discourages all prudence and thrift. It encourages squandering, gambling, reckless waste of all kinds. It often makes it more profitable to speculate than to produce. It tears apart the whole fabric of stable economic relationships. Its inexcusable injustices drive men toward desperate remedies. It plants the seeds of fascism and communism. It leads men to demand totalitarian controls. It ends invariably in bitter disillusion and collapse.

You should! :) this was the recipe that I used.
I added about a tbs of each almond and lemon extracts. You can also use substitute 1 cup almond flour, or lemon or orange juices instead of extracts, but you'll have to use more juice than if you used extracts. Mine also cooked for 13 minutes, but that's because I have an asshole oven. hehe

Because most of the research has been done trying to prove marijuana is bad, you have to look for the studies that have been done on cannabinoids. When you do a google scholar search for cannabinoids anti depressant you will see that your Dr. is misinformed. Show him the studies maybe you will enlighten him! When used properly, cannabis is a wonderful anti depressant for many people.
Departures sounds brilliant. Thanks for recommending this, I was looking for an intriguing series after rewatching Kino's Journey and getting sucked into its mood all over again.
After the piece in Slate, the 'gun nut' label was picked up by other liberals and used in an O'Malley attack ad ( https://theintercept.com/2015/06/25/martin-omalley-advertisement-hits-bernie-sanders-progressive/).
If you are using the GoDaddy online store or website builder, your website could risk suspension depending on the website's content and third party integration. Access to the account & domain ownership would not be affected even in the case of a site supsension.
With the Online Store, the payment processor Stripe has a list of prohibited businesses including "Marijuana dispensaries and related businesses; sale of tobacco, e-cigarettes, and e-liquid."
The first and most important thing here is the fact that you've made a genuine effort to observe what things in life you need to change, and you're actually going through with the change. Admitting that you need to change is the first step. Good job on being responsible and taking control of things you want changed in your life.
As far as your brain keeping you up at night and the nightmares that follow, some suggestions I can give already echo many of the sentiments here. They may sound cliche, but they work.
Meditation. Before bed, drink some tea, light some incense, dim the lights, and take 20 minutes doing some sort of calming meditation or relaxing exercises. I suffer from pretty brutal anxiety myself, and taking 15-20 minutes per day to meditate makes a world of difference. I recommend headspace if you haven't already heard of it.
Exercise. Go for a run, a walk, or to the gym. The release of endorphins will clear your mind, tire your body, and help you sleep more soundly. Not to mention exercise is one of the best natural remedies to anxiety.
Pick up a simple hobby to occupy your brain. Adult coloring books are awesome. Knitting something bad ass can be super rewarding. Going for a bike ride can be refreshing.
Finally, I since you've been smoking quite often for the last 5 years, remember that your brain is trying to catch up on REM sleep. That can contribute to your dreams/nightmares.
Again congrats for taking the responsible route as an elder, and I hope that you get your money situation squared away so you can begin toking again!
Setting up a new phone, scrubbing the bathroom down, and shuffling kids to the haunted house they're working. Somewhere in there, I'll find time to smoke and play video games. Aside: Banished is fantastic to play when you're slightly toasty.
I use IP Webcam. I wouldn't mind hearing about others, but this does a nice job so I didn't look further than my initial hunt for an app that could save timelapse pictures or full video to a PC hdd via wifi.
Yeah the scope of experience should impact the size/shape of the gradient fill.
Something like this: http://jsbin.com/xudivowagi/edit?output
But this was clearly a high-dea for really OCD ents who want to share their conditions without a "heart disease" tag on their profile or showing up in a filter for "chronic masturbation". Though you'd be able to tell because that'd trigger a CSS blur filter on their color swatch.
Dude, read Thich Nhat Hanh. He's one of the greatest meditation teachers of modern times, and he's so amazing because he makes everything so simple. I recommend The Miracle of Mindfulness. He also teaches my favorite form, walking meditation. I'm too arthritic to sit comfortably, but walking slowly while meditating has been really useful to me. His book The Long Road Turns to Joy is just lovely.
Definitely experienced a ton of anxiety and mood-swing issues after I quit smoking for five weeks. In addition to that I had to adapt to the difficulties of college and damn that was rough. I used to experience panic attacks and all kinds of shit.
I started meditation, and although my routine hasn't been too great the times I have been doing it have been greatly helpful to my mental health. I absolutely recommend it.
I suggest at the very least checking out the meditation techniques found in Full Catastrophe Living by Jon Kabat-Zinn. It presupposes no doctrine and only showcases a scientifically minded meditation practice.
After about a week of daily meditation practice I believe you will find a much greater sense of wellbeing. Even simple breathing meditation (literally, just watching the breath for a while) will achieve this result (although eventually you will learn meditation is not a quest and does not seek results).
Alan Watts is also a great meditation teacher. He has a lot of things worth listening to, I believe.
I would also like to mention that during this time I went to a doctor because of my intermittent depression and anxiety issues, and he said I should get counseling and medication. As these issues have faded at least slightly, I was right at the time to think that was unnecessary / inappropriate.
EDIT: cannabinoids / THC decrease intraocular pressure. Worth a thought.

You can do it. Khan Academy and Youtube tutorials have helped me get through a lot of math that I'd have never made it through on my own. You can ask the professor for help to, they'd be happy to help you out. Visit them during office hours, that's what office hours are for.
Tim Allen said one of these could be used to open those containers. Oh. Oh. Oh.
Once open, you can transfer to a glass screw top / non adult proof container. Or press and transfer to a smaller glass container. Oo Oo Oo ;)
Seriously. ^^^^^ what the weedman said.
You may already have some stuff like this but if you search online for jar opening kits, you might find something that can help with this.
A cheap mini vise, (something like this) could be useful!
IMO if you smoke/vape you should use a Neti Pot at least once every 3 months. It's like an oil change for your sinuses. You may get horrific stuff coming out the first time you do it (dried blood). You will not drown, it only feels that way to the inexperienced.
DO NOT USE ANYTHING MADE OF PLASTIC
USE MICROWAVED DISTILLED WATER ONLY
USE THE ULTRA PURE SALT
I live in a house with a couple of other people who don't partake and one is really bothered by the smell of weed. I just use oven bags for the decarb process which is easily the smelliest part. Think something like this but you can also usually find packs with one or two bags at the grocery store.
I put my bud in a bag close it off with the twist tie they come with and then fully seal the first bag inside the second to ensure minimal leakage. I usually find doing 220 for an hour or so gives me optimal results but this years batch of weed is not overly dry so it can take a little less time if your bud is already really dried out. You can let the bags cool for a while if you really want to keep all smells down to a minimum. Half an hour or so usually does the trick for me.
This will reduce the smell to a level where it is faintly there but can easily be overpowered by pan frying something. If my roommate is home I'll caramelize some onions or fry up some maple bacon and it is more than enough to overpower. If not it is just a faint smell that goes away within a half hour or so.
I grabbed a box of bags a few years back and still have a few more left since you can easily reuse the bags a few times. I decarb at least once a month with no smell using this method.
I now use an infusing machine to save myself effort but you can also just heat your decarbed bud in to your melted butter or my favourite coconut oil. Lid on pot will totally conceal smell at this stage it is that minimal. Then just strain and you're good to go.
Personally I like using coconut oil since I can melt it in the jar easily in a hot water bath. Then I just put a little in my coffee/tea/hot chocolate and I'm off to the races with no smell.
I don't have a link to the specific suty I took this from, but it was something along the lines of this:
What I understand from that is that when you're under the influence, your "orbitofrontal cortex, a region in the frontal lobes of the brain that is involved in decision-making and assessing the expected rewards or punishments of an action" starts to somehow function differently. If you smoke once a day, that won't matter at all, but if you're burning an eight a day for 10 years, then your brain will become used to work like this and all the brain development you were supposed to have during this 10 years will be somehow affected. This is permanent change that can be considered damage.
> ~unless you smoke daily while your brain is devellopping~
Well, your brain seems to be ALWAYS developing: https://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/21/science/youre-an-adult-your-brain-not-so-much.html?_r=0
I've made this bread before and it ain't bad!
I can't eat gluten so I always try to find recipes that work fine with sub'd flour. This cookie recipe is one of my favorites and it uses a ton of butter (3/4 cup). (this doesnt normally use gf flour just saying it works well if you sub it)
Maybe this is par for the course for regular bakers but I did not realize that chilling the dough for an hour at least made those cookies a million times better.
shall i start with the articles from medical journal now to calm you down??
even though the patents reference them and you have an inability to "go deeper"??
let me google that for you....
i'm expecting a TIL out of :P
you have YEARS of reading ahead of you. i did it. and i've helped others kill cancer.. works out great.
EDIT. they do exist, you clearly were very close minded and didn't look. ..could you please post the studies that verify your claim now? :D
From what I understand cannabis use will reduce your Prolactin hormone levels, and this could be considered beneficial for male fertility in the sense that hyperprolactinaemia (blood levels of Prolactin are too great) can cause infertility among men along with several other problems.
If your dispensary lists the percentages look for ones with a high percentage of CBD. Or like others have said, take some CBD oil beforehand.
Maybe also take a 5-HTP pill as well. https://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientreviewpost-794-5-HTP
L-Theanine is another one. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/sleep-newzzz/201708/what-you-need-know-about-l-theanine
But not all herbal remedies are safe; for example, kava kava is one to avoid. Consumer Reports magazine did an article not too long ago about sketchy/dangerous herbal supplements.
Stick with CBD rich strains, they may in fact be helpful. Google Scholar is a good resource in this case. Be mindful of highly potent strains with negligible CBD levels, while not likely harmful there have been cases where when combined with Viagra people have had problems. Also, your doctor sounds like a ignorant twat and I'd recommend finding another one.
There's any amount of them. I genuinely don't see how you can think that a drug that can make you incapable of walking can't affect your ability to drive a bike.
It's not "mangoes", it's an ingredient within mangoes called myrcene. Its effects include a faster and longer high reported by some users. Here's more info.
Who the hell is downvoting all these perfectly fine recommendations? There is no one right answer to this questions as it is 80% subjective/day/supply based. Variance is unfortunately part of the production process of cannabis (especially in as dry a climate as Colorado).

I live close to The Herbal Cure, and find their pricing to be very attractive (10% discount for in-state...any friends around you could hit up?) and their quality to be above average from my shopping around. I highly recommend their Durban Poison (usually bulk) as well as some Legendary Jack (prepackaged canisters)...both these strains will keep you on the go and loving life.

If you're into hiking, use All Trails to find some possible hikes at your fitness level. Not sure where you are traveling from, but the altitude difference can take you a few levels of fitness back (especially the first few days). STAY HYDRATED! With that said, my all time favorite summer activity is finding a medium difficult hike, burn an uplifting strain, finish the hike, and head to a nearby brewery for some food and refreshments.

Cheers!
Bigoted was probably a little strong but this part of its definition is apropos: "prejudiced intolerance of the opinions of others"
Assuming a conservative think tank (or any party) will certainly produce biased reports is, afaic, "prejudiced intolerance of the opinions of others."

Absolute favorite.
Edit: sometimes it takes some listening to get to the real meat of a Godspeed track, but it's always worth it. Also, the samples they use can get a bit intense if you're in an introspective mood, but, once again, their instrumentality and orchestration is out of this world.
Well the very basic explanation of food and happiness can be attributed to the neuronal "reward pathway". This pathway is often associated with addiction, but is active in normal individuals as well. This is why the effects of drugs and food seem comparable, but they should not be confused. Basically anything that we do habitually and makes us happy afterwards involves the basic "reward pathway", and this is also why addictions can be developed for such a wide variety of activities (drugs, food, alcohol, videogames, sex...)
Many people attribute serotonin to happiness, which is true in some cases but is a very simplified point of view on happiness and the brain.

Promethea, by Alan Moore is amazing to read while high. In fact, I found this fantasy's visuals and story lines perfectly complimented cannabis use. I actually experienced "literary-frisson" while reading this, and that is something I've only ever experienced while reading Starfish by Peter Watts (hard SF). I actually found myself so enveloped in the vibrant world Moore created that I found myself occasionally having to look away from the book to my surroundings just to become grounded enough to continue. Would I have been swallowed completely and be stuck inside this graphic novel forever had I not taken the time to reorient myself? Maybe....just maybe...
From Amazon's description: - "Sophie Bangs was a just an ordinary college student in a weirdly futuristic New York when a simple assignment changed her life forever. While researching Promethea, a mythical warrior woman, Sophie receives a cryptic warning to cease her investigations. Ignoring the cautionary notice, she continues her studies and is almost killed by a shadowy creature when she learns the secret of Promethea. Surviving the encounter, Sophie soon finds herself transformed into Promethea, the living embodiment of the imagination. Her trials have only begun, as she must master the secrets of her predecessors before she is destroyed by Promethea's ancient enemy."

This is how I felt when I was renting. Just worried about my landlord coming by or what if a repair had to made suddenly. I used to smoke through an empty paper towel roll with some dryer sheets stuffed in one end to keep smell down. But now they have products like this, which have been recommended to me by people in my medical cannabis group. Not sure if this is the exact product or if it’s available in Europe, but people say it works, maybe an experienced person can chime in with their thoughts.

I'm not sure if you're hoping for something a little more boujie, but we used to use a 4 week pill organizer (I think it was technically 2 weeks, AM and PM). Sounds like it would be the right size? (Here's one with a seal: https://www.amazon.com/GMS-Compartment-Pill-Vitamin-Organizer/dp/B07D3DMPYG )
Try one of these yet?

Thanks- very helpful. Any experience with AC infinity? Some quick research on Amazon seems to be one of the quieter options though a bit more expensive https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JB292JC/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_EjyXFb055W1Y6
Use a carbon filter like is used inside a grow tent, that will get rid of any joint smoke. I used to grow inside my apartment and none of my neighbors had a clue.
People are mentioning putting a filter over a box fan and whatnot but that will definitely not work, you need a real carbon filter like this.
This seems expensive now, but think about the benefits of buying in bulk. https://www.amazon.com/ALTOIDS-Curiously-Mints-Peppermint-Mints-Freshen-Breath-12-1-76oz-Pocket-Sized/dp/B000FKQD5G
Also, brush your god damned teeth at least 2 times a day. As someone who just had a tooth extracted (due to a botched crown), I promise I'm only trying to help ya out fam. Weirdest shit was when they popped the crown off it smelled just like these fuckin mints. Now you'll never think to be without them
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
For sleeplessness try drinking some tea with valerian root (nature’s Valium) 20min before bed. If that doesn’t quite do it for you, also put a 1mg dissolvable melatonin tablet under the tongue right at bed time. Under the tongue bc there are capillaries directly connected to the brain so it’s faster acting this way. Also, less is more in the case of melatonin, at least according to my doctor. Which I anecdotally can agree with. When taking a 5mg dose I would be out like a light, but I would wake up in the middle of the night restless again. The 1mg doesn’t knock me out as nicely, but it lets me stay asleep the whole night. Obviously everyone is different, and with the 1mg tabs you can try dosing your way up to 5mg.
There are pruning shears you can get with adjustable tension strength, might be a help for you to reduce the amount of force you use. For example:

You can also find some where you can adjust how far the blade separates so you don't have to use as much range of motion in your hand
You could mix it up with a different style of scissors, like so. If you look for the versions for sewing or leather craft you can probably avoid the cannabis tax.
my recommendation is to get one from a pharmacy first. You need it, and it's not gonna do you any good to go without one until you can find what you're looking for. Also, please bear in mind that novelty canes aren't meant to be weight bearing.
This is the one i have. It's really great, but the main thing I'm going to recommend is the handle shape. It's called a derby handle, and it's extremely comfortable. Handle shape is really going to be a big factor when you start using it more, so get something comfortable. I'm a young person with a cane too. I'm looking for one with a little stash too, but having a solid, reliable cane is a god send. A workhorse, if you will. Good luck, and feel better
I recommend function over fashion... at our age we don't have to act or look a certain way. Get a cane that has stability and meets your requirements.
I get tired standing, so I recently bought this on Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B005JIMORU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I also have a collapsable cane from REI that I take with me for travel (just-in-case). https://www.rei.com/search?q=hiking+cane
You might be interested in a book called "Musicophilia" by Oliver Sacks . Talks about the neurological effects of music on the brain and has many case histories of people "hearing" music that wasn't there...
Here's an Amazon link if that's allowed;
I thought these are mostly for blunts and cigs, I don't think you really want to filter a weed joint. My parents use these cheap glass filter tips (random Amazon example) to keep the bud from pulling into their mouths, but I don't know anyone who uses a carbon filter. It might be counterproductive, cannabis smoke is full of sticky resin, but that's the stuff you want in your lungs.
Honestly depends on the space you have and what you plan to grow. 6' height is for sure great. 2x4 should give you freedom to not think or worry about space anymore. That is kinda luxury size though. This would be a great size for you to start. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DXYMQ9M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_gE7HFbM46GF98
I grow in soil and watching Cali Green vids taught me quite a bit. Then I got a book by Ed Rosenthal to teach me the science. The main thing to remember is there is no correct way to grow and to only listen to one or two people. There are tons of products out there and you don’t need your grow transforming into a alchemical lab.
growweedeasy has great information, even a page for starters to give the essentials for indoor growing.
Youtube growers are also good (mr grow it, mr cannuks grow, pigeons 420)
This is a cheap simple essentials build.
Optional extras: These mainly keep it private and help to deal with smell.
Try rectal suppositories. Much faster and stronger effect. You can melt the concentrate and mix it with coconut oil. Just make sure you measure it correctly. For example, you can mix 1mg of concentrate with 9mg of coconut oil and you get 1/10.
You need empty suppositories, something like this.
Most containers (cigar boxes, Tupperware, etc) work fine if you keep these with it. The activated carbon charcoal absorbed odor molecules really well, can be recharged and add some versatility for travel. I’m not recommending any producer or product, but the concept. I’ve been using these in combo with other strategies for years. Bud goes in airtight glass but pipes and grinders need to be smell proof too and these little bags help a lot. I have two nosy teenagers and they have no idea I’ve been smoking for years. 😁.

We grabbed one of these and it works perfectly. We keep our bud and small bong in the bag and there's zero smell that gets out.

These are awesome - I put them in my buds after harvest, and in my pre-ground mix that I keep in a wide-mouth Ball jar.
I purchased two infinity jars from amazon which are supposed to protect the contents from uv rays also and I love them. I highly recommend!
Make sure you are drinking a full gallon of water a day exclusive of other liquids you consume and expect it to take 2 weeks to get the full effects and a few months for your bladder and schedule to adjust to the bathrooms breaks.
As a test to see whether or not it is a hydration issue, get a bottle of Simply Saline and see if it loosens mucus or not. If it does, it's a hydration issue, or at least part of it.
And smoke out of quality glass, brother. There's great USA made stuff for every budget out there.
I have something similar to this, but made by Zen and I absolutely love it! Incredibly easy and fast. I also add the filters to it before I roll them.
This thing might be worth looking into, it's almost like an electric slap chop

I smoke joints.
After I take a hit or two, I put the joint in one of these, then put my thumb on it to put the joint out. Saves a ton of weed going up in smoke...
