Have you tried something like this that will allow you to keep the door locked, even if she manages to unscrew and disassemble the knob? Actually, I think this might prevent her from doing that since it pushes inward on the knob.
Oh, it’s most definitely an anti-vaxx book. You might be thinking of a different book with a similar title? This one is written by a homeopath. Here’s the amazon link with the description:
“Sarah is really excited about the upcoming Girl Scout trip but there is a problem: she has no vaccination record and doesn't want to be vaccinated.. Can she still go or will she have to stay home? This book is dedicated to all children and parents who are concerned about vaccinations and refuse to give in to the constant vaccination propaganda. Parents who refuse to vaccinate their children make this decision after careful consideration, because they are convinced that vaccinations do more harm than good. The decision not to vaccinate is often not an easy one, because one so often faces criticism and seems to be swimming upstream. Dear parents, I hope this book will help you and your children to understand better the controversial issue of vaccination.”

tl;dr - He won't get out even after serving his time (instead will be committed until the docs say he's good to go), the buyers are being prosecuted too, one has been sentenced already.
Buy a “WiFi deauther watch” off amazon their like $40 it’s this little trinket that lets you kick people off nearby WiFi networks even if you don’t have access to those networks the watches come pre configured so you don’t really have to do much.

She does exhibit some borderline traits. Amd gear of abandonment is a big one. A reaction that is exaggerated for the situation (like 500 angry text messages bc of 1 missed call.)
Keeping your boundaries firm is important. DBT is great for Borderline. It was created by a therapist who was diagnosed as Borderline.
Here's a self help workbook based on DBT strategies. Might help you cope. Hopefully, you can get her to see a psychiatrist if she isn't already.

> While the science is till iffy, it’s claimed that the blue light damages your eyes, I’ve never heard anything about sleeping but who knows.
Blue Light Affects Sleep (and here's why)
We know that night-time exposure to blue light makes people more alert and also affects their circadian timing.
The science that explains these new systems has accelerated over the last 20 years, with the discovery of a new photopigment in the eye, called Melanopsin, in 1998. Many are familiar with the "rods and cones" that provide our visual capabilities, but the retinal ganglion cells containing melanopsin are sensitive to a wide range of "blue-green" frequencies around 480nm.
A wide range of lights appear to be able to stimulate the circadian system in humans, and so while we refer to "blue light" in order to distinguish it from the light our visual system sees, it includes lights that appear green, blue, cyan, and even orange.

I know this may disappear in the sea of comments, but:
Use <strong>CamScanner</strong> to take a picture of every page and either save the images on your phone, send it to your email, save them to Google Photos, back them up on Dropbox, whatever.
Camscanner can straighten a picture (even if the photo isn't straight on), which is why you should choose it over using the normal photo program :)
You can also enhance the colors (this effect is non-destructive as long as the image is still in CamScanner, so you can change it after)
I find white noise generators help, but you have to find one that doesnt just fade into the background.

This one is pretty good.
If this is on PC, use this to spoof your MAC address. You can find a lot of other spoofers online if you're using another device. Make sure to change your physical Wifi address only or else it won't work.
It basically tells the wifi that a different device is connected and therefore shouldn't be blocked.
I just use this one, there are some for not much more that you don’t have to keep feeding one by one. I like the portability though
That sounds awful & I'm really sorry you have had through all of that.

When my kids were younger we used to get the lice outbreak notification about every month during the school year. Not sure why that one school was so bad with the outbreaks but it was horrible. I swear the little suckers were becoming immune to the lice shampoo and I spent HOURS picking out the nits and bugs from my kids (and my) hair.
The pharmacist mentioned an electronic comb that they had just got in stock, it looked like a thick lice comb but was battery powered and sent an electrical shock when something got caught in its teeth. That comb saved us! Within two uses all the lice and nits were dead and gone, no more chemicals. Kids liked it too because it made a buzzing noise and you could actually hear the zap when the lice was killed so they thought they were having a battle of good and evil on their scalp. LOL
The comb was called a RobiComb . Just in case anyone needs a solution for the new school year. This thing was a life saver for my family.
You can add contacts you trust. Your contact can request your location and if you don't respond in a certain amount of time (you specify the amount of time in the settings: immediately or 5/15/30/60 minutes), your location (or last known location) is shared with the person requesting it. If you see the request, you can allow the request or deny it.
It also allows you to send an emergency alert with your location to specific contacts or your entire contact list or if you need to walk through an area that you feel unsafe you can share your location for someone to be able to keep an eye on you.
Dune (Dune Chronicles, Book 1)
It could be because the series is 40ish years old, if you’re younger there’s a chance that you’ve missed it with all the other fantasy/sci-fi out there.
If you’re into sci-fi it’s worth a read.
As insane as your parents sound it seems like nothing in this world is going to change their minds until you or anyone in your family needs to get admitted to the hospital. If you are showing systems OP best you can do is to monitor yourself. If you can find yourself a pulse oximeter and see what your oxygen levels are at. Symptoms of COVID are low oxygen saturation levels in the blood. Normal is between 100%-95% sPO2. Anything less than 90% requires supplemental O2...basically you need to be seen by a medical professional.

Try feliway. Its like a glade plugin that releases cat pheromones, and yours cats will mellow out. It helps with peeing issues too, but if that box isn't being cleaned out, that could also be why they are peeing.
I would opt for the Lixit 40 ounce bottle (it’s essentially a giant rabbit water bottle with a stainless steel no-drip tube) or something like this.
You're missing some of the finer points of voter tests. First, they weren't IQ tests. An IQ test would have some elements of fairness. (IQ tests are biased, but they aren't intentionally biased). The Jim Crow voter tests were only given to Black voters, and they were 100% racist and 100% impossible to pass. This had nothing to do with education whatsoever--no amount of education would allow Black folks to vote. So as it was actually administered, no, it wasn't even a good idea in theory. It was straight racist. http://www.openculture.com/2014/07/literacy-test-louisiana-used-to-suppress-the-black-vote.html
Second, there's no place in the US that gives 2k/ mo/child in welfare. The amount does vary by state and county. And in almost every state, you can't get more money for a child that's born while you're already receiving payments. And usually for only 24 months in your lifetime. (I'm not sure exactly what you mean by case-by-case-- I'm not sure whether you're implying that social workers can make judgment calls. They can't.) Here's a typical example of payments and requirements in a county in CA. They may be much lower than you expect. Keep in mind that CA is expensive. So there's not really lots of people having more babies to get rich off welfare. https://www.sccgov.org/sites/ssa/debs/calworks/Pages/families.aspx
Because they're really not that expensive. Here's a super basic one for less than $50, and honestly if you can't afford $50 to ensure your child has a safe place to sleep, then I really think you should reconsider whether being a parent is the right option for you at the time.

They can be, but I just found the same brand you use on Amazon for $16.95 (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07VV4YQGH/) so that's not too terrible all things considered. It's just not a brand I'm familiar with, so probably not one I'd think to buy first.
And there are some deals to be had on basic vitamins (A/D/E/C/all the Bs/amino acids/etc) if you're willing to take a store brand. But if you're looking for something a little "fancier" than a basic vitamin, you're probably going to pay a bit for it.

It is completely possible that the website is not so overbearing that it is illegal in Europe. That is a common misconception. Even when you have a cookie wall, you still need a data retention policy, you need to give your customers access to their data. You can't log anything such as an IP-address in your server-log without a proper way of erasing it when a customer asks it, including a policy to write down how you handle such requests beforehand. And if you fuck up, it will cost you millions.
Why go through all that trouble for a website aimed at local news for Kansas City?

From what I can gather, we're mostly in agreement. Just from where I'm standing, I think it just muddies the waters when people bring up circumcision in conversations around FGM.
For me circumcision of infants is on the same level as having babies' ears pierced. When I see it I think it's bizarre and somewhat cruel, but nothing like the level of madness of FGM.
For me it's one of those cases where I think we would benefit more from a unified "HELL NO" while we tackle FGM, before we tackle less egregious problems.

Back when I was a kid, cars didn't usually have cup holders and we bought things like this to put on our doors to put our drinks in. You could hang something along these lines on the edge to put your phone and glasses in without having them on your mattress. That thin thing it came with may not be good for your health. You owe it to yourself to find a solution and get a real mattress.

What do they mean "struggling with"? From what you're saying you expressed no discomfort with being gay and like who you are. If that's the case, make sure you tell them that when they give you this (if you don't intend to confront them before). There's no point giving someone a present they can't use. That would be like giving someone who doesn't intend on losing weight a weight loss cookbook. And for your birthday too? How incredibly cruel and rude.

I don't have specific brand names since I tossed all my brushes this summer after putting my hair into locs. (Which I love, but all this talk of curls does have me missing mine!)
The Tangle Teezer is one of the brand names for the curry comb type brush (Mine was one of the zillion cheapo imitators on Amazon, but it worked fine). The tines are relatively soft and vary in length, so only part of the tangle is grabbed at once. You can go over tangled areas softly, with repeated passes, instead of having to pull hard through a whole knot.
And my flexible brush looked sort of like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Detangling-detangler-Detangler-Textured-Exfoliating/dp/B07ZRNF3W1
Both are great to have. I usually started off with the first one to get through the bulk of the tangles/matting, and then switched to the flexible one to comb through any remaining stubborn knots (with less pulling and breakage than you'd get with a comb).
When my daughter was a pre teen we started arguing about everything. A book was recommended to me that changed everything!!
It talks about how girls learn to fight from their mothers. It gave me permission to walk away from her fights, how to set boundaries and appropriate punishment. You don’t have to get it on Amazon, it’s available from the library.

The definitive academic study on contemporary Civil War voices has demonstrated that slavery was the root motivation of all actors on both sides of the Civil War. “States Rights” means a state’s right to have slavery, not anything else.
The anecdote that stands out in this stellar survey of medical costs is that it would have cost the author less to move to Spain to establish residency and then have surgery than it would cost to have surgery in America. The long-short is that Medicare costs the ultra rich more than our patchwork of insurance, but the middle and lower class benefit from greater access to healthcare.
I think he did not do a great job of expressing his concerns while still being supportive, but it can be difficult for a parent to accept this dramatic change after raising a child for so many years. However real it feels for you, it actually has become a trend, especially for young biological females. Abigail Schrier wrote a book on it.
He’s just worried about you making the wrong decision, regardless of how confident you feel now. I would just try to extend the empathy to him that you wish he’d give you, and understand him first before seeking to be understood.
Not really a shameless plug because I don’t care if anyone buys it. I wrote this book as a means to free myself entirely from my past. After I published this book, I dreamed I flew over their graves. I guess you do have a point. If the animal died of natural causes then I don't see *much* of an issue, but if it was killed just to be a decorative piece for a birth, that seems entirely unethical. As for "throwing it out," she sounded like the type of person to do that. Not you, the woman in the post. What else is she supposed to do with it? If she wanted to keep it as a decorative piece, she can order a sculpture or something. Maybe one of these.
I actually saw an amazon review a week or two ago with a parent that was acting this way about bedsheets. They were these sheets/comforter set and she returned them. What’s the saddest is the kid WANTED the sheets and liked them, and she returned them anyway. Stupidest thing I’ve read, made me irrationally angry.
OP, if you have android, you can use Termux. It's somewhat like bash. All you have to do is $ apt install python
for Python 3 (use python2
for Python 2). You can also install vim ($ apt install vim-python
or even vim
works). You can even install git
, and node.js
. It even has clang
, gcc
and g++
compilers by default (iirc).
What type of phone do you have? As long as it's newer than like 2013, you can probably turn it on as a hotspot.
Edit: here if you're on android, give PDAnet a shot. Been an app for getting around carrier blocked tethering for years. Can't guarantee it'll work for you, but it's worth a shot, and a hell of a lot cheaper than paying the random for tethering.
I use an app called Poop Log and it's really helpful to be able to look back and see when my diet or stress causes digestive issues. There are many similar apps for android or ios.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kefsco.pooplog2
Good news is that if they are only using Find my Device so they shouldn't be able to see what is on your device, the worst they can do is wipe the device, put it as lost (locked) and ring it. Unfortunately for you this isn't actually an app on the phone this is an app that you have already installed.
Instead Google looks at your location using Google Play Services and sends that to your Google Account.
You can turn this off on your device pretty easily however this might result in backlash so I wouldn't suggest it, a far better method would be faking your location. Most of the apps on the play store don't require root for this and it's very easy to get it running.
On the play store download an app called GPS Emulator. You can also find it at this link
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rosteam.gpsemulator
From there select your location and click the green map icon at the bottom. It's going to ask you to enable developer options and set a mock location app. I don't know your exact OEM skin but generally, it's this.
Go to settings, find About phone, find your build number, tap it 4 times. Eventually, you should be a developer and in your settings, you should find Developer Options have now enabled. Go back to the app and find the setting called. "Select mock location app" again depending on your device this may be something different however it still generally is the same across devices, from there select the GPS Emulator app.
And your done! From there select wherever in the world you want your location to be and its set.
You can also change the accuracy in the settings of the emulator app to 300m so they'll bee a bubble around your 'location' so they dont even have a direct idea of where your fake location is.
Best of luck.
Yes I was afraid of that. That is absolutely zero respect right there. It's one thing to try to keep quiet or not realise you are loud but that's just disrespectful.
Yea white noise has really helped me because we have a cat that likes to run around and howl really loud at night and the white noise machine drowns it out.
The app is called white noise on iOS it can be set to stop the white noise and ring an alarm at a set time too.
I'm not sure about Android but with a little research you could find an equivalent.

So I worked at a video game store for a few years and this couple came in with their young son once. He was a very sweet kid and he was looking through all the toys and wanted a stuffed giggly puff (Pokémon). His dad however said no, that he wasn’t going to buy his son a girls toy and that he needed to pick out a boys toy. They were trying to get him to want a blue pomsie toy like this instead. Literally only because it’s fucking blue no other reason. Both the mom and the dad were trying to convince him to put GP back and that this was a boys toy and he could have it instead. Poor kid looked so sad. They were talking right by the counter so I just leaned over and said “that’s even more of a girls toy...it’s just a wearable pet accessory...Pokémon are pretty universal that one just happens to be pink.” Well now they didn’t want either because all they heard in that sentence was “girls toy.” Kid left with nothing, poor lad.
Classic Narcissist, my mother is exactly the same way. I cut her out of my life five years ago and never looked back, I suggest you do the same.
The reality is:
- She is not capable of empathy
- She does not have your best interest in mind
- She will forever make unreasonable demands of you even if they kill you
- You will always be wrong, the problem, and the enemy
In summary, you can't win GTFO.

As others have said, the Google app Trusted Contacts enables this. Users you add can request your position, and if you don't deny or accept the request within a set limit, they get to see the position.

Cutting out vaccines is bad but heavy metals are definitely a source of of a lot of problems, and potentially autism. Detox is a really good step.
I strongly recommend reading The Ultramind Solution to learn how you can make your brain work better. Cutting out heavy metals is critical.
