I do agree that Bane of Arthropods should be more useful, but the "Meet the Shulker" article describes shulkers as being "mollusc-like" (and they are more like clams in my opinion).
Yes! +1
Maybe this could go beyond just the shading and actually create different blooms in different biomes. Bright large blooms in snow biomes look weird imo. In my experience, blooms in harsh environments are rather small, example, so mb bloom sizes could be adapted to biomes. Con: People may dislike having small blooms when they set up base in harsh biomes and want to decorate. So mb potted plants should be excepted from that.
Buffet is NOT replacing customized worlds. The customized option was removed temporarily because it needed to be fixed and updated. I assure you that there was never any intention to get rid of it.
Read here under the Customized Worlds heading, and here where Grum confirms that Customized will return at some point after 1.13.
It's listed on the bug tracker, here: MC-139991, and there's no mention of it anywhere in the official article on the latest snapshot, here, or any of the snapshot articles leading up to that. You're basically suggesting to add features based off of something that's clearly a bug and not meant to happen.
>But The Phantom is now solely a creature of the overworld. “We also did a few gameplay changes,” confirms Jens. “It doesn’t spawn in The End anymore.”
>“Partly because in The End, you can’t sleep, so you can’t make it stop spawning, and you’re also under the sky all the time, so it would just spawn all the time.
This was quoted from an official source, here.
>it's a reason why it was never a problem in the first place.
I would suggest getting your facts straight first in the future before making such claims. It was and still is a problem, your suggestion still does nothing to fix the issue.
The binds for these buttons seem to be somewhat implemented, but a bit broken. (e.g. I rebound inventory from E to mouse5, and I could open it but not close it.) I got around it by using external programs to bind the mouse button to a relatively useless key, like P or the semicolon. I recommend either GlovePIE or AutoHotKey for this.
Illager Beasts look pretty organic, and this interview hints towards them being created or summoned through magic.
> The texture was designed to be a bit like the Evocation Fangs – the biting things that Evokers use. The fangs have a sort of skin texture colour and that I added to the Illager Beast. As if these creatures are related in some way.
So it'd be more fitting to have some sort of summoning spell than making it like a golem.
Read the mojang blog post:
https://minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-snapshot-17w16a
> This weeks snapshot is the final week for introducing new features, and we're now shifting focus towards bugfixing, polishing, and finishing the existing features that were added.
I didn't judge anything, just state what mojang has stated.
Seems like you are the one poor on information.
Mojang is not in the habit of adding back in old mechanics they purposefully took out if it's simply a preference and nothing is wrong with it (i.e., if they added a feature but it was buggy or a broke the game). Toggleble hunger bar, nostalgic sound effects, old seed generation, loading old versions of the game, using old textures for the game, using the old AI algorithms, etc. Adding these things are (arguably, I'm aware) all useless, Mojang has not incentive to do it, and for most of them, they are achievable using mods or in the case of loading old versions, just holding on to old .jar files.
In the last 24 hours, according to the Minecraft purchase statistics, over 7,000 new copies of Minecraft have been purchased. I can't imagine more than 10% of those copies being old school players, so you can see the amount of new people playing the game who don't give a flying BalderGhast about how your shook what god gave you when you were walking back in the good ol' days.
The minecraft devs are letting the players vote one one of 4 mob concepts they came up with. The winning concept gets added to the game, the others are gone forever.
/u/TheWraithSummoner Just because you asked.
It shouldnt look the same as the desert temples. It instead should be spawned like this https://pixabay.com/static/uploads/photo/2016/06/14/11/45/petra-1456365_960_720.jpg / http://www.toimg.net/managed/images/10238699/w647/h298/image.jpg into the mountain. And possibly there should be a hidden backdoor to a mineshaft since they spawn above see level in mesabioms.
They're working on updating the village mechanics and generations. The new villages will be here sometime in 2019.
You really didn't pay attention when I said this is a TERRIBLE idea, and you are yet another person that mistakes a nuisance/extreme annoyance/unfair mechanic as a challenge. From this article, they explain exactly why phantoms were removed from and will never return to the end. And since it needs to be spelled out here, these are the reasons, given by developers:
>But The Phantom is now solely a creature of the overworld. “We also did a few gameplay changes,” confirms Jens. “It doesn’t spawn in The End anymore.”
>“Partly because in The End, you can’t sleep, so you can’t make it stop spawning, and you’re also under the sky all the time, so it would just spawn all the time.
>“We wanted it so you can protect yourself either by being in the day or in a cave or by sleeping. So it was just too much effort to avoid the Phantom in The End.”
Finally, someone with a pretty decent way to add phantoms to the end. It would also make sense, considering that the new item they drop is what repairs the elytra now. The main issue with phantoms in the end was travelling between the outer end islands, where building across the void would no longer be safe, relatively speaking.
EDIT Found the actual reason(s) they were removed, which your suggestion should bypass:
>“Partly because in The End, you can’t sleep, so you can’t make it stop spawning, and you’re also under the sky all the time, so it would just spawn all the time."
and
>“We wanted it so you can protect yourself either by being in the day or in a cave or by sleeping. So it was just too much effort to avoid the Phantom in The End.”
These quotes are from this article about phantoms, on minecraft.net.
I'm not trying to be smart with you, but here's the definition of podzol: pod·zol "an infertile acidic soil having an ashlike subsurface layer (from which minerals have been leached) and a lower dark stratum, occurring typically under temperate coniferous woodland." & here's a link if you don't want to trust Google's definition: http://www.encyclopedia.com/topic/podzol.aspx Again, I hate being 'that guy' by correcting people so, sorry. =P
Hey man, I'm the lead developer for the Fear The Night datapack, and I just wanted you to know I made your suggested mob into the Stronghold Warden and put it into the game!
Thank you so much for your suggestion, it made the perfect mob!
(You've been credited for the mob's idea, by the way.)
Nothing is Impossible when it comes to code! Thank you for your feedback and if you really like it then you should mention it to friends cause its a worthy idea for attention! Also If they DID do this They could make it a whole lot easier on coding if they teamed with the guy who made this
Zombies crave human flesh. You go back and forth between citing real world and game world mechanics. Real world... is there any reason you couldn't have caught the other armies horses or war dogs and trained them to follow you instead?
As for the logic governing the game... if you just went up to it and typed 'please, be my friend' yeah, that would be stupid. This proposal requires you kill his pillager allies and then risk life and limb to tame and retrain the animal.
You keep using this word 'logic'. I don't think it means what you think it means. Logic does not mean, 'I understand how it works this way and I like it this way therefore it is logical.' You don't cite any logical argument. You have created a piece of game lore- that they simply have a common enemy with pillagers... you don't cite any source for this or give any reason you believe this is true. Look at the model. The thing has a saddle. In early development it had a ballista.
https://minecraft.net/en-us/article/java-developers-talk-village-and-pillage
“The original design of the Illager Beast basically had a ballista on top,” Nathan tells me. “Which is a gigantic crossbow made for sieges. That just got shrunk down over time during development. Now it’s a handheld version!”
Are you going to tell me that it's saddle and ballista are naturally occuring?
Complex behaviors in different animals is good. It makes for an interesting game. If you want to argue that it is unbalanced... yeah, maybe you can make an argument for that.
Stop calling your argument logical. You aren't using logic.
Well, then that's likely because they don't intend for players to prevent them from spawning by using light. This is what they intend for players to do:
>We wanted it so you can protect yourself either by being in the day or in a cave or by sleeping.
From here. It defeats the point of requiring the player to sleep if you can just prevent them from spawning by lighting up areas.
From the article on the latest snapshot,
>We're very close to feature complete, and have now started focusing more on bug fixing & polishing!
They are in the last stages of development, it shouldn't be a very long time now before the final release of 1.13.
To be honest, skins are really tiny. They're 64x64 images, and most aren't even going to take up 5KB. Even if all skins were 4KB each, the total space required to store 1 skin for every PC/Java user would be a little over 120GB. You could buy a 150GB haddrive at a yard sale for almost nothing and still be able to store all that. Though having Mojang store the pictures still isn't going to be very likely to happen. If anything, they would make each server store the pictures instead.
The difference between other servers and Realms is clear to see from the main webpage. "A safe, simple way to enjoy Minecraft with friends". What is one of the main selling points of Minecraft Realms? It's going to work every time without you having any technical know-how and with a high level of performance. You know this server is going to work right because it's provided by Mojang, the creators of Minecraft.
This does not lend itself well to "Test our code which we are still in the process of working on" snapshots. It's a conflict of interest. Could they do it? Sure, it's probably technically possible. But from a business standpoint, it would not be a good idea for Mojang or their customers. Besides, Realms itself is still in the process of being rolled out to the world in general. Until it's fully set up, they probably want to keep it a stable as possible.
STEP 1: upload each skin to an image hosting site of your choice. Get the image URL for each one. STEP 2: Create a desktop shortcut to an internet page. STEP 3: Paste the following in the 'destination' box: >https://minecraft.net/profile/skin/remote?url=FILE_DESTINATION_HERE
Change the end of this to be the URL of the image. All done! Do this for each skin you want. When you click the shortcut, your browser will open and ask for your email/password. Log in and you will be shown a preview of the skin you are changing to. Click 'change' and your new skin has been applied!
I think that's a good option. Maybe through the Realms option, have like "Upload a World" and you can select a world, saying a warning that it will overwrite the current world (if they have one). It does look like at https://minecraft.net/realms/faq, they are planning this sort of feature.
What kind of question is that?
https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/%E3%80%90dragonproxy%E3%80%91-%E2%80%94%E2%80%94-join-any-pc-server-using-mcpe-mcwin10.49610/ The plugin is for free if thats what you are worrying about.
To add to previous comments made by /u/quillan77 , /u/darwinpatrick , and /u/DDZiroWan , here are some links:
>"In physical geography, tundra is a type of biome where the tree growth is hindered by low temperatures and short growing seasons."
>"The word 'tundra' usually refers only to the areas where the subsoil is permafrost, or permanently frozen soil."
>"... genus of about 160 species of trees and shrubs in the pea family..."
>"...Acacias are native to tropical and subtropical regions of the world..."
Based on this information (sorry to say I have not done the research myself, but this stuff was taught in my middle school), Acacias could not grow in a tundra like your suggestion suggests.
Additionally, based on the descriptions, your "tundra" biome is actually a savanna biome, and your "polar" biome is a form of glacial expansion found in the north pole, and would be considered part of the tundra biome during winter.
Lol I’m having a hard time following this conversation, but he’s right about one thing, we’re getting campfires and villages are getting a huge overhaul. Also foxes and berry bushes and new cat skins. Not sure if those have been added yet! Here are some details:
https://minecraft.net/en-us/article/everything-we-announced-minecon-earth-2018
I really like these, especially about the birch trees being taller. I heard somewhere that the forests will be getting an overhaul someday, along with a few others coming afterward. Forest will have things like foxes, berry bushes, and campfires, but I’m not sure if that’s confirmed. I’ll try to find a link
From Minecraft wiki
During the (MINECON Earth 2018) livestream, watchers voted for a biome that was going to be updated next. The biome with the highest vote would get new features, such as terrain changes and new mobs, in a future update. The two other biomes will also get new features, but in a later date.
During the live stream, the taiga biome won the vote and will be part of the upcoming 1.14 update, which is titled Village and Pillage.
Desert Palm trees, meerkats and oases are planned to be added. Desert was voted as the last biome to be updated in the first poll.
Taiga Berries, campfires, and foxes are planned to be added. Taiga was voted as the first biome to be updated in the second poll.
Savanna Baobabs, termites, and ostriches are planned to be added. Savanna was voted as the second biome to be updated in the second poll.
Also relevant Minecon Earth 2018
Based on the minecraft earth livestream, the taiga biome won, so it gets its mobs first, and the other biomes will update in future updates. That means 1.14 will not get ostriches or meerkats.
If the implications from the ads for the vote were literal planned additions, we could be getting foxes.
Also based on official announcements, we are getting pandas, new villagers, and pillagers.
What all of these mobs' specialties would be is beyond my knowledge, but I can only guess:
the fox as being either an ambient mob or an alternative to the wolf for pets.
pandas would likely be playful, ambient mobs with no further use, just to keep people from killing them for some kind of drop, considering real life pandas are endangered
villagers would likely specialize their trades based on biome, as it is already confirmed that they will appear different if spawned in different biomes, and there are going to be jungle variants
pillagers are likely a fusion between zombie sieges and the woodland mansion, where the villager-like enemies would attack you and the villagers, but they would only appear at random in a "pillaging of villages"
sources:
They are releasing Super Duper Texture Pack for Xone, Xone S, Xone X, PS4, PS4 Pro.
This is just to show the power of those consoles.
Better graphics =/= Better gameplay
In fact better graphics means more lag and some computers wouldn't be able to run them.

Btw Jappa is currently working on all new textures for Minecraft. But he still sticks to 16x16. You can currently download them here: https://minecraft.net/en-us/article/try-new-minecraft-java-textures
16x16 has now became just a design choice. If you want others then you can just easily download them from internet.
It was temporarily removed during the 1.13 snapshots and will be brought back in a future update, it's easy to miss if you don't keep up with the development of the game and/or snapshots. On minecraft.net, the article for snapshot 18w06a gives a brief explanation:
>We have plans to re-add them in a much more extendible way, but unfortunately we were not able to have that ready yet.
100% agree, the chat color options are too limited.
While this would be impossible before, doing this now isn't impossible due to the messages using JSON encoded messages instead of plain text.
EDIT: There was an discussion in SpigotMC about that https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/have-you-realized-that-no-orange-chatcolor-exists-for-minecraftf.222713/
The background is just grey with noise and a vignette.
The thing on top though is an application called Rainmeter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's a thing where you can download or make your own custom widgets that do many things. At the moment, I have 2 sound visualisation bars and the central circle switches out to shortcuts when it is hovered over. They're from a theme I downloaded called Desktop+++ as I prefer simple things, however some can be as busy and complicated as you want.
Touché. I guess it depends on how proper you'd like to be.
> In his Modern American Usage, Garner labels this usage as "ubiquitous" but held on to by "die-hard snoots." The Oxford English Dictionary calls this usage of nauseous common

Hello Elk_Cloner (and Al_Cloner and Zeta_Cloner :))
There are few hundred of contributors in Russian translation. And you are welcome to contribute too :)
I'm a proofreader of Russian translation and I will really happy to discuss with you about your suggestions.
Here's link to discussions (Russian): https://crowdin.com/project/minecraft/ru/discussions
And you can feel free to send me personal messages: https://crowdin.com/profile/fromgate
Most of changes in 1.9 translation relates to glossary that describe rules of translation of some terms (Nether, End, Redstone...), that we as translators must follow and respect.
This is the most wrong place to discuss about the Mojang glossary. It's Mojang's game and if Mojang decides to make a glossary (for whatever reasons) this has to be respected. See also Ola's comment in Language update for 1.9
> ... please respect our decisions
> If that's too much work for the translation team then they should probably find different jobs.
MInecraft is translated by volunteers, not employed translators.
I'm kinda conflicted on this issue. I would totally love to have limestone for my builds (+1), and with the addition of coral, we could smelt them to obtain limestone.
However, if you take a look at how limestone bricks look, I think endstone brick and sandstone already fill that texture nieche of building. It'd be cool ofc, if endstone came in more variety regarding stairs, slabs etc., but I think these additions are already on their way.
Ty! :) I think to fit in with vanilla easily, it should be a potion. I don't know the color of actual ipecac syrup, but judging by these pics, it has golden to amber color (= shades of brown). Friend, if you have the time, I'd be grateful. Your art is wonderful.
Love the idea, very fresh and would do much to make the desert more lively. +1
Some thoughts:
Cactus growth could also be made a little more complex and include large branched cacti like the saguaro.
Nausea doesn't need to be an effect. Only cactus juice of the main plant of some cacti can cause diarrhea or other adverse effects. If we're talking about actual cactus fruit like nopal, it is very safe to eat it raw, so long as you remove the spikes. So maybe shearing the cactus to get cactus fruit gives you nopal / prickly pear which is safe to eat.
I see.
>I'm specifically suggesting an app to convert saves, which is possible.
Definitely. There should be more progress given to this app, etc. to ensure more stability, zero corrupted chunks and a simple UI for anyone to use. Making all the PE, JAVA and Console versions nearly identical will make this conversion easier.
hahahhhhahahhhhhh.... What's your email kid? I'll send you a copy of a real programming language.
It's actually a huge project I've been working on. I'm trying to get multiplayer to work so I can finish it with friends, but the program I am using is being really uncooperative.
http://www.filedropper.com/fort
That is an unsubtle invite, by the way. Any help is help!
There's a plugin for crops but I believe it can be done for furnaces too.
https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/offlinegrowth.87615/
Went off to mine a few thousand blocks away? Farm is all fully grown when you come back.
yes it does when you go buy the as you call bedrock it is called minecraft not bedrock. even on the minecraft.net its not called bedrock its called windows ten platform. when i have ever heard people talk its minecraft for the better together and java for java i think if they are going to get rid of the other editions then they should get rid of java too and have one big minecraft
If this were to happen, there would probably be a link in the store page that directs you to minecraft.net and you link the Mojang and Steam accounts. So if you already purchased Minecraft you can link it to Steam and get it on there along with the benefits that op listed
I made a mockup of what shields could look like here if anyone's interested. Also here are the textures themselves if you want to make a mod or whatever. Dinnerbone if you read this, and if you're planning to add shields but don't have textures, you can use these as well.
You're suggesting more uses for flint, but then don't exapnd on that, and instead go straight to limestone. And then you ask everyone else to give you ideas on what to do with flint.
That's not how suggestions work. You're the one who is supposed to craft the ideas, and everyone else is supposed to provide feedback. If you wish for actual brainstorming, you can join our Discord server, where we do live idea brainstorming sessions almost every day.
As such, this post will be removed, as it falls under this FPS list entry:
> Extremely general/overly vague ideas ("add more blocks/mobs to the game, just 'cause", "add x to the game" without any further elaboration, explanation, or details)
It's actually not that hard to add custom textures for held items though, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find something on the internet on custom models with a resource pack
It should be noted as basically being rejected as well, seeing as how they removed them from the end to begin with, with good reason, as noted on an official article on the phantom.
You can prevent other mobs from spawning, but phantoms cannot be prevented from spawning, and that can be a major issue for players, especially when the only option available to them doesn't work in the end. The fact that the developers removed them from the end because it was an unfair disadvantage to players is all the evidence you need to know that this will never happen. There's an article on the phantom that gives their reasoning why. You can disagree with them all you want, but that sort of thing doesn't belong here, because this is a place for suggestions that have a chance to be added to the game, not ideas that have clearly been rejected or decided against by the developers, and not a place for people to debate or ignore their decisions.
https://minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-snapshot-19w05a
You pretty much called it! Mojang should hire you lol. Its just an individual villager at the moment but it looks like they may expand that later on.
You're right. I made this up. It wasn't Dinnerbone that wrote that, it was another Minecraft developer. Here's the source; https://minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-snapshot-18w48b Read the first line. Of course they're still improving the raids system but they're done with the actual raiding of the game. Does it matter though? You're suggesting a feature that wouldn't make a lot of sense since Pillagers don't break blocks, unless you're saying that they should fix doors and crops. If that's the case, then I agree.
This is a great suggestion, it may inspire players to use the new loom block, and since patrols were added with banners, I semi predicted this except as a suggestion.
Wasn't it Natura? I kind of like them, (and that's where I got the idea from, to be truthful) but I don't like their uniformness and size, so the Enderflower code seemed the most logical thing we could use for it. Well, the most known thing about deserts (in my opinon) would be the Fata Morgana, random mirages on the horizon to fool you (caused by the heat and curvature of the earth). While neat to think about it, I wonder if that would be a good thing to add to MC.
And adding more mobs is something to think about. Personally, I would like to see Mob C as a form of Ant-lion hidden away in the sands, waiting for unwary travellers to get stuck in its hungry maw.
I believe they could add upon the Temples they have, and add a more interesting structure generation underground. Imagine, you would explore a Temple, hoping to find the room with a pressure plate and four chests. BUT! you stumble upon a larger dungeon beneath, a maze full of riches and glory. (Tango tek did a "What if?" on this idea on Youtube) While I don't like his idea of the mummy too much, as it would just be another zombie variant, the structure would be neat to check out.
The primary purpose of Nitwits is for them to have no trades. That's because players kept spawning in the green-robed villager with no trades, so they turned it into a feature(source).
They're not necessarily supposed to be seen as village idiots, and they're not necessarily supposed to have trades. They just seem to be villagers who don't trade.
The arrow shape kind of stuck in my head when I found my first village with a church. It was very unexpected and reminded me of the (very) old mouse pointer shape from windows. Here's a pic with an outline of the arrow shape: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=as8ee&s=8#.VAxsp2OtjGg
I do agree some sort of decor there would be nice but I'm not sure an armor stand would be it.
If you want to you can join the MCSuggestions Discord Server, people can help you brainstorm ideas before you post them, that way all your suggestions should work better.
Or they could just give us a better texture for glowstone to make it look less like some sort of fish eggs or whatever.
Dead coral fans were added to Java edition in 1.13-pre8, see the minecraft.net changelog and https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/1.13-pre8#Blocks.
You obviously don't understand why this is never going to happen w/o a way to prevent them from spawning.
Here is the reason they won't be added to the end:
>But The Phantom is now solely a creature of the overworld. “We also did a few gameplay changes,” confirms Jens. “It doesn’t spawn in The End anymore.”
>“Partly because in The End, you can’t sleep, so you can’t make it stop spawning, and you’re also under the sky all the time, so it would just spawn all the time.
From this article on phantoms.
Also, your "solution" to the issue of being knocked into the void is poorly thought out, perhaps you should rethink that quite a bit.
>The end is an end-game area and is probably safer than the nether in its current state. If end-game areas in a survival game (yes survival game, I consider this game to be a survival game) don't have any kind of varying challenges then I think something is wrong.
Couldn't agree more, but only if adding a challenge doesn't interfere with crossing the void safely, or if it doesn't involve cheaply/unfairly knocking the player into the void when they are defenseless.
Jeb has mentioned why he created the NitWit villager through Minecraft Article
>It started because players could summon villagers without a career by using commands: it was the only way to get villagers with green robes. Whenever we discover we have a bug which is used by the community we just see it as 'undefined behaviour' - and ‘fix’ it by making it a feature. In this case we just needed a profession for the green-robed villager. I don’t remember what name we came up with first - I think it was ‘unemployed’ or something, but it doesn’t really fit in the world, because I don’t really think the other villagers are employed by anyone either. So I think the next suggestion was ‘village idiot’ but I thought ‘nitwit’ was a more fun name. -Jens Bergensten
They simply “announced” something called the digital leisure device. Nothing happened ingame and I didn’t even find out about it until a week later.
It really isn't, for one, whether they are devils or ghosts, they fit into the Nether (ghasts look neither demonic nor fiery).
And second, I too used to believe that they were ghosts, but the comments from Jeb and Tom Stone on the Meet the Vex page indicate very strongly that they are grey skinned devils, nor ghosts (I admit that the pale color scheme and passing through walls ability is very misleading).
Are you seriously saying "Giving nitwit villagers books to turn them into regular villagers" has never been suggested before? You can't argue against facts. https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/6qk8ws/a_way_to_transform_the_nitwit_villager/ It clearly states in the description of this that giving them books turns them into a regular villager, and this is just one of them. Also, not to play the "You made a grammar mistake" card, but your reply is riddled with multiple grammar atrocities that is making it hard to read, please proofread. Also, about your "I didn't know, you're attacking me" piece, really? If you don't know the basics of minecraft you really shouldn't be suggesting things on here, and if you think calling you out on something is attacking you, you really need to get a better dictionary. You said I shouldn't attack you immediately, does that mean I should wait or something? The hell do you mean? Stop trying to over-dramatize your case. Also my "Mojang made them that way" comment is valid. They clearly stated here: https://minecraft.net/en-us/article/meet-nitwit that they know they are useless, and like them that way, and giving them a use by turning them into a regular villager is such an obvious idea that if they wanted to they would've, turning nitwits into regular villagers isn't as unique of an idea as you think. Also, this is the human race you're talking about, don't give us any opportunities if you don't want to be called out.
>Steve used to have a beard
They haven't entirely removed the beard though. Steve still has a beard in all of Minecraft's official art, like the World of Colour banner.
Personally, I do agree with your comment, but maybe you should use this wiki page instead?
It is a far more complete wiki, and is usually up to date with all minecraft updates, and usually minecraft news. There is even a link to it from minecraft.net (official minecraft website).
Thank your for the compliments!
I made the art on this site called Photopea. Honestly, I don't know much about the legality of it, but it is quite similar to Photoshop from what I saw.
Oh shoot, this escaped my eyesight lol. I'll fix it in a minute.
Once again, very kind words, thank you!
You can actually do this with a service called playit.gg, its made for servers but you can open a world, open it to lan then use the playit service to connect to the lan world, then people can use the domain it generates in the multiplayer menu to join, even when not on the same wifi or same building, although I think this should be a normal feature
Also, to get the cauldron, you're going to need toomanyitems. Here's a download link: http://adf.ly/go/c8317572c057d25d88652da817312b39/aHR0cDovL21hcmdseXBoLnMzLmFtYXpvbmF3cy5jb20vVG9vTWFueUl0ZW1zMjAxMV8wOV8zMGIuemlw
It'd be a massive project, but I think it could be both very fun and informative. You'd obviously need some machines to go along with it... not too dissimilar from some of the industrialCraft stuff... most elements don't exist in pure forms naturally, so you's need a means to isolate and extract them... advanced furnaces, centrifuges, rock crushers and quarries, lab equipment, particle accelerators...
many go through transitional compounds in the process of isolating them, some need to be cooled or heated, so things like freon or glycol would be helpful... as would a more nuanced electrical simulation and thermal modeling.
not to mention a whole system for collection and isolation of gasses and a much more detailed liquid system.
edit: have you checked out http://www.spacechemthegame.com/ ?
Cameras are only in the Pi Edition, which I don't think is really included in regards to feature parity since it's not really regarded or updated anymore. It'd be cool if they were added and worked like the cameras in the DiceFurniture plugin.
Its a really good idea, maybe could be like the proposed Hytale's creators tool, Hytale's creators tool, another support for custome game like the datapacks. But (im not sure im not a mod or datapacks developer), in a game with constant updates and coded with java its hard to get stability, for this reason each update hundreds or mods datapacks are lost never remade for a new version or simply cant work again, till I know this happens because Java doesnt have specific libraries for game developing and Mojang constantly change big parts of code, its not like other languages like C# which have the neceary libraries, but notch made Minecraft like a simple project in just a week giving so much problems and actually with all the content that we have its impossible change to other language. Another problems is the election between "liberty" or "stability", because many people says that develop customized content for java its easier than others and chnge it will greatly reduce the mods and datapacks that people could make.
But how I said Im not an expert its just information that I investigated, whatever +1.
the creative mode needs some love, in 1.7 there was the possibility to add custom blocks through the data-value with optifine (vanilla clients just saw the vanilla blocks). with 1.8 this isn't possible anymore. you may have a look at those pictures and count how many different blocks where used :)
*beside the custom texturepack, there are many custom blocks that made this build possible. beside that most of the textures are adjusted/made for jungle biome, in other biomes the same blocks would look different.
I'm gonna nudge you, since recently Nuu-chah-nulth has been added to the game. If you'd like to translate, here's the link: https://crowdin.com/project/minecraft
We have literally no-one to translate to this language so we'll appreciate your help :)
I don't know how much hassle it would be. Being able to change texture depending on stack size is a feature that the community asks for frequently and is implemented in OptiFine. Being able to change name can be seen as an extension of that.
And most translations are, as far as I know, made by users on Crowdin. That would make translations fairly cheap and easy to add.
It's more work than changing the name of an item, but compared to adding actual new mechanics to the game, it must be simple.
There are different words used in the different English/Spanish speaking countries, just like in Belgium <-> the Netherlands. I don't think it's a bad thing that there are so many languages, but looking at https://crowdin.com/project/minecraft, seeing languages like Shakespearean English or Latin being added, BE Dutch should not be a problem. The thing is - from my knowledge - there are also a bunch of (English) words that have 2 separate translations, for BE and NL Dutch, where Belgians and the Dutch would understand the other word, but think it is very out of place, or not understand it at all.
I'm sorry, I don't know any specifics, but I thought that translations were done by the community. Maybe you could try to send an e-mail to customer support.
I google a bit and I found this, you might want to look in this direction. Best of luck!
I just looked it up, "boat" is "boat" in Canadian. I actually don't know what the differences are. However, you can look at the translations or propose new ones here.
yeah that works right now, but if jeb_ or dinnerbone would add this real closet to the game (i am not that good in java programming so i don't know how complicated it might be) it would still be better and different.

If you have an idea try to compact it into 1 simple concept and then think about the details. So instead of listing several ideas with the same theme, you maybe talk about the most important one and expand upon it.
If you want help trying to improve ideas u can brainstorm in the discord server.
