It looks just like RetroPi which is a linux OS that is nothing but emulators for games.
It's used all the time for home arcade machines and emulation stations that people build with Raspberry Pis. Its actually quite a fun project to do.
This is the case that the GameStop email was mentioning about. It’s quite pricy at $29.99, and it comes with 6 game faceplates: Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Link to the Past, F-Zero, Super Metroid and Star Fox 2.
They're up for pre-order at Amazon.
I ordered this Raspberry Pi 3 kit on Amazon and had it up and running with NES, SNES, Genesis, Atari 2600 and some MAME games in about an hour. I am decently savvy with PCs, so I had an edge, but I followed these instructions to help me out.
Amazon has notoriously had major issues with Nintendo to the point where they didn't carry many Nintendo products, or only got initial stock then never reordered.
This is an article from 2012. It has been an ongoing thing.
EU model available at Amazon Fr. It says it doesn't ship to the U.S., but it does. Choose Amazon Global Standard for shipping. About $105 shipped.
Nope - you need to create a new account - But they ship from Japan in about 4 days to the US - And the total cost with shipping is about $83 ( $69 for the system and $14 shipping right now with the current exchange rate) - So takes a few minutes to make an account (first change the site language from Japanese to English - which translates most of the pages - then use Google translate for any portions you need to read that are not translated) create the account - enter your shipping info etc. and order.
If that is too much work use your Amazon Prime and order from the US site for about $5 -$10 more ( $90.90 right now- from several Japanese companies using the Amazon Fullfillment centers so shipped via Prime) https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Super-Famicom-Classic-Console-Japanese/dp/B075MK6THW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1523644480&sr=8-1&keywords=super+famicom+mini
The two most popular cases are the RDS case and the PDP case. I don’t own the PDP case but I did research it before purchasing the RDS case. Both cases hold everything that’s included. The RDS case holds the controllers in the top while the PDP case has dedicated cutouts in the foam for the two controllers. The RDS case is superior for storage because it has extra room after storing the basic items (console, controllers, power cord/adapter, HDMI cable). Most people tend to use that extra storage space for controller extension cables. The RDS case is also $10 cheaper on amazon.
To sum it up...
If storage and price are your main concerns, go with RDS.
If you don’t care about price, want a hard plastic shell, foam cut-outs for your controllers, and prefer the aesthetics of the PDP case then go with that one. Some people really like the look of it with the swappable game cards on the front. To each their own!
I believe there's a menu with an info button. Since the Reddit mobile app sucks, you'll also have to click into any tables to see the information contained within, but it's there. I suggest going with a better app such as Relay.

pi 3 canakit from amazon with some 8bitdo sfc30 controllers.
Amazon France is where I ordered mine this morning, use Google translate. It did cost $130 with the currency exchange and shipping, but I like the look of this better than the US
After a minimal amount of searching it seems you can pre-order from Amazon in the US, but the release date is unfortunately not until December 10.
Amazon. I just looked up the order, It was $10.99 for 2 extension cables, both 13' long. There's plenty on Amazon that come with either 1 or 2 cords if you do or don't need both. I think there was a listing for $9.99 for two that are 10' long each, but the extra dollar was worth another 3'. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07114C4TL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_4xPPgp6LZX4hZ
I was looking for a SNES Classic case and found this on Amazon. I didn't notice at first the giant single button on the right side of the controller. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075QBJX4S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_tG1hAbNPWQWF2

I got mine from Amazon Japan.
It ships internationally however you will need to create a separate account for Amazon Japan.
I found one on Amazon, for $100USD. Seems worth it to me even if I can get the US one on gamestop for $80, I would rather spend the extra on the EU one. https://www.amazon.com/SNES-Nintendo-Classic-Mini-Entertainment-System/dp/B073BVHY3F/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_63_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=AHPX716DTP2YPGA598NZ
Amazon Japan has the restock for the original famicom mini including the 30 postcards - up for sale already ( delivery after July 1) - With current exchange rate it is running $69.78 ( $56.57 + $13.21 Shipping to the US )
https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B01LYBYK0L/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AN1VRQENFRJN5&psc=1
Meanwhile the Shonen Jump Special edition pre-orders are already sold out and the scalpers already have them listed at 29,000 Yen ( original MSRP was 7,980 Yen) !!!
I got this one a month ago and connect all my mini consoles to it. I have not noticed any issues with lag. It's got 5 ports on it, so if you think you'll be adding more to your collection, this would accommodate that.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MMRTS4S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I own this one (I needed 4k support) and have been very happy with it. No lag that I have ever noticed. You can enable or disable auto-switching. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076XWNQP9
not at all. extra input lag its a known thing on a hardware level as far as the raspberry pi is concerned.
https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2019/an-input-lag-investigation/2
wired controllers don't make a huge difference anymore, polling for bluetooth and usb devices is so fast now that its really not an issue, certainly not enough to add a frame of lag.
one of the main retroarch developers said he is going work on optimising the cores for the snes classic hardware so you should see snes9x 2010 have less input lag and perform better in the future.
arcade emulation is a beast. Different emulator versions require different rom versions - and there are a LOT of games out there.
This is all doable, and the information is out there. And you can ask questions to get stuff figured out. But just know it can be kind of a rabbit hole.
Read through this to get started - Whatever you are trying to do for arcade emulation, this is a good start.
(As an added bonus, getting comfortable with clrmamepro is EXTREMELY helpful for filtering console roms. For example, I used it to filter full romsets down to US-only games, including prototypes... for 10 or so game consoles.)
No problem. Prime Now is a same day, 2-hour delivery service for Amazon Prime members. You can downlad the app for free
It worked pretty well for me last year. Amazon Games did Twitter notifications when they were available in each region.
I don't work for Amazon, but at this point they probably should hire me.
Looking at Amazon they do already have several products like controllers out there, so I don't doubt they will release this. Then again, judging only by Amazon reviews for their NES GamePad Pro the reactions are very mixed.
There are a ton of pots on this sub that deal with the same issue. On Amazon, there are a ton of HDMI Audio Extractors. They are all generic brands. As long as it's a powered device (has it's own AC source) it should work fine. Here is an example, but some better searching will find you a cheaper option. https://www.amazon.com/Tendak-Optical-Extractor-Converter-Splitter/dp/B017B6WFP8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1507559061&sr=8-3&keywords=hdmi+audio
I ordered some extension cables off Amazon this week and they work great. These are the ones I ordered. They're not in stock at the moment but I've seen them come and go a bit so I'd keep an eye on then if you're interested. I want to say they were about $11.

Mini HDMI to HDMI with Audio adapter from Amazon or Ebay -
YOu might try one of the Cheap HDMI signal splitters -- some of them actually strip the HDCP requirement and would allow the signal to be passed to the display
Here is an article ( https://www.tweaking4all.com/home-theatre/remove-hdcp-hdmi-signal/ ) that has several links to splitters that others have reported working and these are much cheaper than the $300 products ( ie. $18 for this Sanoxy splitter - https://www.amazon.com/SANOXY%C2%AE-splitter-ports-switcher-XBOX360-Blu-ray/dp/B003UYOEMI )
For that price it might be worth trying ! ( IF you look at the comments for the splitter on Amazon many people have reported that it does indeed strip the HDCP signal and works with many older recording devices that are not HDCP compliant - so it might work for your display !)
Probably will get the Famicom Mini this time around (though don't really like the non removable short corded controllers ) - It's already listed on Amazon Japan with the 30 postcard set for $69.75 Shipped ( https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B01LYBYK0L/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AN1VRQENFRJN5&psc=1 ) And not sure if I'll pick up a second NES mini or not (figure I had one last year but traded it with the damaged box for the UK version of the SNES when they first released and announced they would be re-releasing the NES this year.
Also want to get at least one of the NES controllers this time around.
I'd agree Option 1 (though FOr the $50 get them on Amazon with the carry cases - https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Wireless-Controller-DOUBLE-PACK-Carrying/dp/B07DM8353Y ) and 1 extra OEM NES wired controller and set of extensions for another $20+/- , that way if the wife prefers the NES controller you have that option using wired controllers but also have the wireless SNES controllers for both systems.
Those are not shown to be first party and appear to be made by Cipon. They may be fine controllers but they aren’t from Nintendo.
Here is the cheapest first party one on amazon:
Wii Classic Controller Pro - White (Japanese Version) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ACOJTY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_K9LwBb0C46204
Personally I think that’s too much for the controller but it’s probably due to being out of production now. If you’re fine with a used one you could find them much cheaper.
A Wii U Fight Pad is another option... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LSBNSAO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I have:

The video quality just might not be as crisp.
The Ultimate NES guide by Pat Contri (Pat the NES Punk) is really excellent.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpCgxDQfSWs
The book is very expensive but the app is cheap and has mainly the same content: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.embraceware.ultimatenes - you can also order the games by rating/user rating, year, genre etc, making it better than the book in many ways.
I found it (the app, I don't have the book) well worth the money. He's in the process of compiling a SNES one too.
What is the circular port in the image? Is there actually a connector in there? (Yes, it’s definitely not a genuine SNES Mini.)
Here is a real one:
https://www.amazon.com/Super-NES-Classic-nintendo/dp/B0721GGGS9
Or the European style:
https://www.amazon.com/SNES-Nintendo-Classic-Mini-Entertainment-System/dp/B073BVHY3F
Step 1. Watch some videos on modding. Patton Plays makes some great tutorials.
Step 2. Go to https://www.reddit.com/r/RockinTheClassics/ for any of your questions, cause it’s been answered at least 100 times there.
Step 3. Get a 3.0 USB flash drive, at least 16GB (I would go with 32GB because as you get experience you’re going to want to add more stuff)
Step 4. Get an OTG adapter. AuviPal 2-in-1 Micro USB to USB... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FY9Z9GD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This one works well.
Step 5. Start with NES and SNES. Once you figure them out and have a handle on it, move onto N64 bc it gets way more complicated and in depth (configuring games, remapping controllers, etc).
Step 6. Make sure you use the right mods from the mod hub. Use retroarch 1.8.4 extreme ozone amped, it is the best one.
Step 7. Reach out if you need help. I’m willing to help.
Virtualbox works for me on Mac, but I used WinXP following this guide - requires far less disk space and resources! http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/download-windows-xp-for-free-and-legally-straight-from-microsoft-si/ Then I just ran the hakchi2 web installer as normal and it works great. YMMV!
If you want to keep using the original rubber pads that came with the controller but the pads are worn, here's a tip for something that's worked for me before.
You can use conductive paint or a conductive carbon or graphite pen to fix the conductivity of the rubber. The other solution being carefully cut off the conductive part of the rubber pads and replace them with this.
Throw the controller away, but keep the adapter. Cheapest way to get teh adapter. Nothing fancy just a usb device that you can attach any snes mini controller to it. I recommend it.
Yeah you just need a HDMI converter and a USB wall plug---the plug helps stabilize the picture. Something like: https://www.amazon.com/QUMOX-1080P-Converter-Adapter-P%C3%A9ritel/dp/B06XWSH129---there're several brands with varying qualities so search for what works best for you.
I used a HDMI to RCA converter to play SNES Classic Mini on my room tv---worked pretty good though the converter got hot----also it outputted letterboxed so Earthbound looked a little off but not too bad. Using a different brand atm as I hooked a Roku up to that tv.
I found the solution with the already patched rom:
https://cdromance.com/snes-rom/i-love-golf-out-of-bounds-club-eng-patched/
I found the solution with the already patched rom : https://cdromance.com/snes-rom/i-love-golf-out-of-bounds-club-eng-patched/
Hmm, didn't work. Same exact problem. First time I enter the game everything's fine. Select + Down takes me out -> I reenter the game -> static / white noise in opening sequence. Did a search, and apparently at least one guy in this thread experiences the same problem: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/970/lr-mame2003-aspect-ratio/58
I don't know if there's anything to do about it. It's not game breaking at all, but it's just a very strange. Nothing changes between first and second+ playsessions :/
Took maybe an hour...
Easy as Pi
Edit: would but a more updated version. I have an raspberry Pi 2nd gen and it'll play most NES games but SNES tends to lag and N64 is a shot in the dark. Here is a nice guide for speed issues on certain gens
Probably that's the price it gives to people coming from USA. It's 75 to me, but it's 99 once I archive it using archive.is. This is the history of the price and the price for me browsing from Italy.
https://keepa.com/#!product/8-B073FNFTL2 just set the Amazon locale to .it if it gives you another price. It is sold directly from Amazon.
I also download lots of stuff using my phone, then transfer to computer later.
I use Mixplorer for this, which is an awesome file manager for Android that also let's you access WebDAV, FTP, you name it. You can start a temporary HTTP (web)server from Mixplorer on your phone (using WiFi) and access it from your computer, using a browser, to grab the files. You can also start an FTP server, but then you need a FTP client (I prefer WinSCP) on your computer. FTP is much faster to grab a lot of files at once though.
Absolutely!
Just with better packaging and customer service. :) We have been in business for over nine years and are probably best known for being the main supplier of XRGB-minis worldwide.

Here's the OTG cable I've used. I don't know how durable it is, as I'm pretty low key. I got it setup with the games I wanted, plugged it in, and it's just lived behind my mini since then.

The USB drive I used is a SanDisk Cruzer Fit 32GB USB 2.0 model. I picked this because it's physically really tiny.
The WiiU one has the same input as the Classic Controller. Posted the wrong Amazon listing---it should be this one instead... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LSBNSAO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I originally purchased this one for the audio out in projector room since my projector has no audio out/speakers but bought another when I ran out of HDMI ports on my Denon receiver in my living room: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K7BZ1XC/
where are you exactly?
I was able to pre-order last year for 99 Euros in Amazon.DE.
That being said, they've had it in stock for several weeks now for 122 Euros which it isn't bad if you ask me.
I can confirm this price is stable because I often check my Amazon "wishlist", where I still keep the miniSNES.
Also available new from granger games for £65, used for £55 https://www.graingergames.co.uk/product/G55671-nintendo-classic-mini-snes and available at amazon for rrp https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Classic-Mini-Console-Entertainment/dp/B073BVHY3F
I'm in Canada and I got mine from Amazon Spain:
https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B073BVHY3F
I can't confirm if they ship to the US but I don't get the "this item does not ship to Canada" message that I get on Amazon UK.
It is like a clear case that goes around the actual box your console came in. So it is not a travel case for the system, but a display case for the box. I bought mine on amazon so I've told a few friends about it and we've all been happy with it. Little pricey but not too bad. NES Protector Case
I was looking for something like that too, the RDS one it's on a videogame store here but it has scalper price, I'm not paying that; so I think I'll go for an amazon basics one.
Edit: The one for the SNES is on Amazon; it's basically the same and it's 19.99; I got the one for my snes there some time ago but now they don't send it to Mexico anymore =( (and here it's at 50 usd)
This is where I bought it. Fairly overpriced, but free next day delivery is worth it. Here is the Amazon page. I recon that HP Pavilion 21.5" that Amazon also recommends looks way cooler for less money, but I'm in Australia so slim pickin's here. That HP costs over $250 here with postage. We can't buy from American Amazon anymore, we've been shut out.
I bought the official wireless pad made by Hori. Here it is on Amazon.
Did you purchase it recently ?? Reason for asking is AMazon has the EU version for $86.81 shipped ( https://www.amazon.com/SNES-Nintendo-Classic-Mini-Entertainment-System/dp/B073BVHY3F/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1535230969&sr=8-1&keywords=snes+mini+eu ) - so about the same price as the US version with Tax - so if yours is still able to be returned that would probably wind up cheaper than what the US unit cost you + shipping for the swap.
I think about 5 feet? I'm not sure, but I bought longer ones, 10 feet, off of Amazon. Now it's long enough that I can pull the system out right next to me when I play and the controller length isn't an issue anymore, plus I can hit reset on the system without having to get up and walk to the system.

You are going to want to look for something called a "ground loop isolator". It just plugs in-line between your headphones and the jack. They run somewhere around $10 usd on amazon.

Hey everyone! We've been stuck with a pretty bad Nintendo DS Emulator until now! DraStic has been ported over to the Classics systems thanks to the original programmer Exophase. Along with the help of MadMonkey and DanTheMan we now have an excellent working emulator for a TON of DS games. So far it's been discovered that games that heavily utilize the microphone are not compatible as of right now. But that still leaves a huge game library you can use on your system. Hope this was helpful!
I had contemplated this very issue a few weeks ago. I have all the classics and a few other consoles in the kid's room. I ended up getting the Monoprice 8X1 Enhanced Powered HDMI Switcher w/ Remote. No usb ports, I have all the consoles plugged into the 12 port Amazon basics surge protector. Only gripe is the LEDs are pretty bright. I also went with this model because it had buttons on the front of it to select input. Made it easier for the kids to use.
Huh? It's like 90 bucks on Amazon, and in stock as well.
Yes. And that will do it via bluetooth OR USB and works with GameCube controllers or Classic Edition Controllers. It's mainly used to pair with the Switch, but it works for Mac and PC too.
The unpatched chd comes out to around 270mb. Space isn't really an issue for me though because I have one of these along with a 64gb flash drive hooked up to the back of the system.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013ENUF0Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I see, thanks.
I found a guide for setting up USB-Host, and it sounds like you can use a USB flash drive with an adapter on the back of the SNES Classic. The guide mentioned a left-angle OTG adapter which you can buy on Amazon. I looked at a couple stores this weekend and was surprised that these adapters seem to be hard to find at local stores. I don't mind buying one from Amazon though.
I just bought some generic wii pro controllers from amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XH1FV3A/
They are no longer available, but I have loved the controllers, I rarely use the regular ones anymore. I am sure you can find similar ones.
Why don't you buy and HDMI switch box? They are pretty cheap. You can get a 3 port for about $20.
I got Pernos 2 pack from Amazon and havne't had issues, though I hope they will work with my mini NES as well
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NBP57V1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I like it a lot. It does require more work to get up and running than a SNES Classic - easiest way is to just buy a Canakit from Amazon, which has everything you need but a controller - but it's more powerful and can run more games well than the Classic. The space is only limited by how large a microSD card you have. I use the 32 gig one that came with it since I don't have very many CD based games on it. It doesn't run N64 well, but PS1 is almost perfect and it can even run a lot of DS games well (need a controller with 2 analog sticks for that one).
You can use any kind of USB storage, but you probably wouldn't want to use a slow flash drive.
All you need is an adapter like this one:
You can also use it to plug in things like a usb keyboard / mouse for MS-DOS games or even Mario Paint
IT might be that the SNES mini does not have enough power going through the HDMI source to run the converter inside the Adapter - while the PC probably does. How are you plugging in the SNES mini ( ie. using the USB port on a TV or using the wall plug - could be it needs a better power source if using a USB port on your TV it might not provide enough Amperage to run both the SNES and the adapter using the HDMI source from the SNES. For the SNES you might need an adapter that has an input for an external power source rather than one that uses the power from the HDMI cable.
Something like this one ( https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-HDMI-Adapter-Black/dp/B00879DM56 ) that has the USB power input which says :
" USB POWERED ACTIVE ADAPTER has built-in IC chip to improve compatibility between equipment and displays; USB power boosts the signal from computers with low power HDMI ports such as the MacBook Pro with Retina Display or Raspberry Pi "
This one works perfectly for me for both my NESC and SNESC: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZMV7RL2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is a powered adapter...not sure if the other one you had is...
I’d go with this style. I found that with the right angle adapter I was putting a lot of stress on the micro USB port on the snes by taking it in and out a bunch of times. This style won’t have that problem.
I'm really hoping the N64 Classic will be released this year - then that would DEFINITELY be the best controller. But for now I agree with the Classic controller. There are adapters that work for the Wii, not sure about the classic - may have a little bit of lag. This is one I found - Classic Controller Connector for Wii and GC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PVC30M/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_SJGEAb2TZG8FJ
Do the SNES/NES classic work when plugged in the port that works for the bluray player? What other devices have you tried? Do all the HDMI cords function with other devices? Might be a faulty device perhaps. If you can't figure it out, Amazon is great about exchanges or refunds. I have ordered 3 of these switchers in the past. One came broken and the other two came fine. But whenever a new device is turned on it automatically switches to the new device. It's my go to now.
Zettaguard 4K x 2K 4 Port 4 x 1 HDMI Switch with PIP and IR Wireless Remote Control, HDMI Switcher Hub Port Switches (ZW410) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BV1XBIY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1rtzAbRZVR8TF
I hope you get it working!
Great minds think alike. After your last reply I ordered an 8 inch monitor that can be powered by USB, so I can run both the Snes and monitor from a power bank if I'm on the move.
This is what I use to run my NES/SNESC via the VGA port on my TV since it doesn't display properly over HDMI: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZMV7RL2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here is an 8 inch that would work well ( https://www.amazon.com/Eyoyo-Color-Security-Monitor-800X600/dp/B0711K8YJW/ref=pd_rhf_dp_p_img_10?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=WW7Q2X4XNC9TPCA9HVZQ&th=1 )
The reason for recommending it over others is it is set up so that the screen can be run off of 5V input through the USB port or 12V through the AC input -- So is useful for the type of use you are wanting it for since a single powerbank with dual output can run both the SNES and the monitor. ( other small monitors can usually be hacked to use 5V instead of 12V but require some soldering to set it up where this unit is already set up to allow 5V input from a powerbank.

This is what I have and it's amazing. Although you do need to plug speakers into it, built in speakers are usually crappy anyway.
Mayflash makes one for the NES Classic and Wii that should work on the SNES Classic too: https://www.amazon.com/NES-SNES-Controller-Adapter-Classic-Wii/dp/B01MU8SXC2/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1510358668&sr=1-1&keywords=mayflash+nes+classic
It is called a retroflag NESpi Case. Best case I have ever owned for the PI.
I got one of these bad boys, and I can confirm it works great for an SNES Mini to a VGA monitor.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZMV7RL2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_vjRW36mLiPyQw
It has 3.5 audio jack for sound. You will need a vga cable and some form of micro usb to usb cable (to power the unit). Works like a charm, and the price is pretty good too.
I bought this to connect an iPhone to my minivan’s old entertainment system, and it has worked great so far: https://www.amazon.com/RadioShack-HDMI-Composite-Converter-Converts/dp/B018D2OOXA No problems, and no hissing interference, as it doesn’t require power.
If you're looking to convert HDMI to component, I use this one and it works great: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FX9D57W/
I have a TV with just a Fire TV box connected to it, and the Fire TV has only HDMI out. The HDMI port on my TV died, and I didn't feel like buying a new TV, so I bought this converter box to connect it via component.
Yes...that should work. That's the same receiver I use with a Dualshock 4.
This is the one some people are waiting for... https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Wireless-Controller-Classic-super-nintendo/dp/B074HBNNH6/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1507676756&sr=1-1&keywords=8bitdo+2%2C4
The dedicated 2.4GHz should, in theory, offer more reliable connectivity than bluetooth...but considering most home wi-fi networks are still 2.4Ghz, I'll wait and see. And, unlike the BT one (which could be used with PC's, tablets and phones), the 2,4Ghz controller would be system dependent
You can with a USB PC/laptop accessory like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Elgato-Capture-PlayStation-Definition-Recorder/dp/B00840353W
You plug any HDMI output device into it, like PS4, Xbox, SNES Classic, etc... and then it streams it over a USB connection to your PC/laptop. You can record with it like a DVR too.
Link for me is here and it's showing as in-stock. https://primenow.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073BVHY3F
This is not quite the same as normal amazon.co.uk as Prime Now is region specific. I'm in London. This is also how I bought it back in Sept (though for a tenner more).
I kind of like this one but there isn't a space for the AC adapter - https://www.amazon.com/iAmer-Carrying-SNES-Controllers-Accessories/dp/B075V31C57/ref=sr_1_3?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1508787117&sr=1-3&keywords=Super+NES+Classic+Mini+Case
Not up for order in the UK, though it probably will happen at some point considering the SF30 Pro is up for order as it stands.
Edit: I eat my words
I bought a 2 pack of TPFoon ones from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07538KHMX/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Quite happy with them (although they are almost too long for my situation). In hindsight, I'd actually be quite happy with 3FT extensions instead of 10FT...
I want a wireless controller for the Super NES Classic. Where can I buy one now? It looks like the SNES one comes out in Dec or am I missing something? How is this different?
Looks like the Hori fighting command is not too very good, given the early reviews on amazon.
