Theme Park is the most nuanced and multifaceted app for what you're trying to do but there is another app called repainter you may be interested in.
The app works similarly to Theme Park but doesn't go into specifics regarding UI element coloration. This is good because there are less issues/conflicts that can occur. Theme Park let's you choose specific colors for a fairly large number of UI elements and sometimes your choices result in something like an icon/button/text blocks blending into the background in ways you probably don't want or intend to have in your final theme.
Personally, I find Theme Park to be great and easy enough to work around but I can understand the process of setting hex values before waiting for the theme to compile and then another wait for the final install could seem tedious if your choices force you to make multiple revisions.
The reason this happens is simple enough... the app, unfortunately, only displays what the theme will look like in a handful of screenshots and there isn't enough information in these to be certain there won't be any conflicting.

Here is a link to repainter in the play store if you're interested!
Yeah. You can get close to how it looks. https://send.vis.ee/download/3a507f46bf9f79e4/#wIvUURRZK37gcSU_NR3uPg
This is what I was able to mimic. Its not the same, but here's what I did:
Went to clock star then made the clock look this way, then went to lock screen and rearranged the clock to this position and the notification icon to the upper left of the clock. I'm happy with it. Looks good enough. But doesn't have the lock screen features of android 12 though.
Glad you liked it. Here you go https://photos.app.goo.gl/8gZyYBvfpAUPuRoN7
Yes that is the stock launcher and for the widget I'm using kwgt with an android 12 widget pack. Just did a few basic tweaks to the size positioning and color. Here's the link to the exact one. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=android12widget.kustom.pack
yes you can. with a workaround.
use this app. create shortcuts for each app on your homescreen and you can use any custom icon pack with those apps. remember, make a shortcut only by a long tap on the home screen -> widgets -> shortcut maker.
Thank you!
But that is terrible. I really got used to my launcher. I can guess why it is required (due to animation and transitioning stuff) but that is still a bummer. Is there no way around it? Couldn't my launcher enable support for that feature too? Or isn't there a hotfix around for enabling that?
My launcher is Lawnchair btw.
First one: Download >https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.internet.speed.meter.lite Second one: Download one hand operation plus (from Samsung) and set right handle>long swipe>close app Third one: Go to bixby routines>add routine> If>button action>side key> press and hold>Then>functions>Torch>on Fourth one: Can't help you with that. Fifth one: Go to one hand operation+>right handle>short swipe>diagonal down>open notification panel.
You can technically change them, it's just very difficult.
Honestly tho all operating systems should just open up the option for changing the default emojis. They are just as much a personal style choice as wallpapers and dark/light mode.
You can literally add Google Lens to your App Edge Panel and launch it the same way. The only drawback, you need to take a screenshot before.
If you want to automate that, you can use Tasker to accomplish this. Here's an article about it. I used this and added a Quick settings tile, that does exactly this 😁
If you're interested i can help you to set this up 🙂
I just use the app 'App watcher' for this. I think it's better because I don't even need to have an app installed to see when it gets uodates, the app has a ton of options and a very nice design.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anod.appwatcher
If you have the lens app, i think you can use the Tile Shortcuts app to set a shortcut for the quick panel and acess lens from there
What do you mean by 'phones background display '? Do you mean the phone app where you call people? If yes, i suggest getting Google phone. It works the same, but has better theming. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.dialer
Use this one. If you get a prompt to choose an app choose Files.
This app acts as a shortcut for the aosp files app backed into all android phones. And it's the only way to open the data folder as far as I know. As for why it's not accessible, blame Google. I think they locked it down starting with android 11 or 12.
Nah, I just use Pix Material You. It does the job so much better. Hopefully icon themes gets a significant upgrade in One UI 5
Not much with this app tbh. Its just an easier way to access the built in system ui tuner so you can disable and enable status bar icons and that's about it. I just offered it if good lock wouldn't work you can turn the alarm icon off with this. There's another system ui tuner that has a lot more features
You can't access that folder with most apps since Android 11. Some apps still can, try using this, it's a shortcut to the default files app which is hidden by default in OneUI, and it can access the folder just fine
If you do want something try this app. Ives been using it for a while and I like it. There are gonna be some bugs, not breaking or anything, but still usable. Just make sure you go through all settings at first https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.ons
If you have premium version of KWGT, you can just download the widget and open it up on KWGT
You can also change the font. I used a mix of both Product Sans bold and Product Sans regular for this.
I saw your comment saying that you're not on OneUI 4. Another option for you in the meantime is to use Shortcut Maker
You will lose app shortcuts though as your new icons are essentially widgets.
I used an app called dual wallpaper. Basically it allows you to set a separate wallpaper for light and dark modes
Just choose the wallpapers for light and dark modes, under 'looking for something else?' Select live wallpaper and apply
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.dlyt.yanndroid.dualwallpaper
If that doesn't work, you can try this app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.github.domi04151309.alwayson , i use this app on my galaxy m12 even though it's not an OLED screen. It's a pretty good app
Haha I use Relay, which is in my opinion the best reddit app/client for Android. There's a button to paste the system information. It's a mark-up option, just use 4 spaces 😉
Hey, thank you very much for the effort, that helps a lot. It seems to be an icon pack for darker wallpapers. It doesn't look that good with a light background.
I use NYON, which is my all-time favorite. Same "issue" here, it only looks good on darker backgrounds.
Here's the play store link. I always knew this app existed but I never thought it was that useful. You should give it a try for a few days.
Play store's description: > Sesame is a powerful universal search on Android. It integrates with your launcher, learns from you, and makes hundreds of personal shortcuts. With Sesame universal search, everything is 1 or 2 taps away!
I used it for a while, but got frustrated because it wasn't as I needed it. Then I found the app Repainter, which is really incredible!
I've been working on an android app recently and it turned out quit nice actually. What it does is automatically change your home and lock-screen wallpaper when the device theme changes. So you can select different wallpapers which will be shown on light and dark mode accordingly. Let me know what you think.
The app is available on Play Store and the source code on GitHub.
(I've seen that a lot of you have been posting their home screen setups here, so I thought this might interest some of you, besides that this app is OneUI themed ofc.)
Search for At a Glance widget. It comes under the Google app. You can also use KWGT or Another Widget https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tommasoberlose.anotherwidget to get the look.
Here's how they both look: https://imgur.com/a/xt2HFlJ
u/fatrat957, u/Firebolt_9907,
NoRoot Firewall or NetGuard - no-root firewall?
Looks like they both do the same. I couldn't see the score for NetGuard but NoRoot has 3.9 stars. They both have the same amount of downloads tho. NetGuard was more recently updated. But looks like both can do what I need.
You guys have anything good or bad to say about each other, should O definitely avoid one?
Wallpaper : From Backdrops Wallpapers App ( Country Craze by Kxnt )
App icons : No third party launcher. Used Shortcut Maker App to create custom icons for selected apps. The icon pack used is Viral Icon Pack
Clock widget is from Google Clock
try on the phone settings, fullscreen apps (enable/disable)
or on the screen recorder
also try this screen recorder for me its the best of the best
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=twelve.weather.mibrahim
Here is an app I found with identical widgets, but I don't think there's dynamic theme support. As per kwgt, I couldn't find a tutorial myself so... I don't think I may be of assistance :(
The Note 9 show Fast Charging all the time
While in Fold 3 it shows Super Fast Charging & then it dissapears
Would like it to show what kind of Charging it's doing
Even when connect a charger it shows different colors fir Fast & Super Fast
Would be great if the Battery Icon changes colors to kins od Charging we getting, like the App Below :
We need a Battery Wiget like this build in OneUI always battery icon changer
▪︎It always on top,▪︎ it blinks when charging, ▪︎ it changes color so we know what battery levey its on, ▪︎ can make icon size bigger, ▪︎ can make Text size bigger, ▪︎ can move it to any position, etc

Install Activity launcher app from Play Store, open it and search for "Labs." Then under call, tap the labs option (below fake call option)
The weather one is called Avia Weather. In general, I mainly only really use that. I might tune into an ATC freq using the LiveATC app but that's about it. If I'm flying the Zibo Mod on my desktop, I'll be using WebFMC on my browser
So I've been trying to theme my phone (AM-A526B, OneUI 4.1) using #Hex_, with the (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=project.vivid.ui.plugin.deluxe)[Deluxe Dark Plugin]. But as shown in the photo the dock icons get real small. I have ti set up to have 6 icons there through HomeUp (Good Lock).
He's saying there is a certain api level at which the current standard for app iconography was put into place. At some point, a template was made stating recommendations for icon design. Adhering to the guidelines results in an icon that can be reshaped/reshaded. Icon tray shape has been around for awhile but the reshade ability is relatively new so you'll probably find a few apps without proper support for the feature.
What you can try, however, is to download an app called icon pack studio from the play store. Using the app, you can make your own icon pack to mimick the one that is auto generated. From this point you can use the theme park app to build a theme/icon pack using the icon pack you made in the icon pack studio app. This should help to cover more apps while their developers are given a chance to update their icons in the play store.
The only downside is if you ever download an app that doesn't theme the icon properly, you'll have to recreate the icon pack again and then put it into the theme park app again as well to keep all icons themed.
Play store link for Icon Pack Studio: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ginlemon.iconpackstudio
You can download the icon pack (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ginlemon.iconpackstudio) from Google Play Store and customize by yourself. Then apply the icon pack through Theme Park. The font is Default one.
Unfortunately, only flagships have the screen recorder feature. You can install a 3rd party screen recorder from play store or galaxy store. I use this app on my phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kimcy929.screenrecorder
It is pretty good :)
The News widget is from Poppins KGWT (Poppins News Mini)… there’s a few to choose from and Music Widget comes from Audio Widget Pack (Ametrine Mysterious)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playtiveapps.poppins
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.widgets.music
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dreamon.jool.jyphs
Ever since Samsung updated Theme Park with changing Icons… I’ve been anxious to use this particular icon. Before Icons were missing.
They both use the same method to theme the phone, so the only difference are their pricing, app interface, and catalog of themes.
I guess they called it a "proper one UI launcher" because they think it's better than the stock one UI launcher.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ginlemon.flowerfree
I use this launcher a lot and I highly recommend it
Install Activity Launcher or any other app to access hidden activities. Then search for "Labs" and you will find an Activity with this name inside the Samsung Phone app. Open it, then turn on "Disable the end call screen". There are also a few other options, like a switch to use the contact's picture as call background. Finally, if you want to try it, there is a "Fake calls" menu where you can create dummy calls to test the UI
One UI 4 - Icon Pack (there's a wholesome varients from this developer, I suggest you to install one of those icon packs with available discounts) I personally use this icon pack as my default, inform me if you are planning to install this icon pack.
Hey!
I was just looking at the Android 12 page you mention the text from :).
Yeah I have developed for android and done a lot of stuff in terms of rooting and such a few years back. So I will see if I can get it to work and enable the features.
The main issue for me is really not the night light filter app, the new dimming features are good enough albeit a bit too bright for my taste. I just mention it as easy reference: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arrowsapp.nightscreen
But what I lack now is my gamepad overlays for CoD:M since I bought a Razer Kishi... so will see if this ADB command work.
But I assume the ADB command won't survive a reboot?
It's called Audio Widget Pack and recognises all music players.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.widgets.music
I installed it out of curiosity and thought it really suited oneui.
Since you have an A series device, you can install this app called S Secure, published by Samsung:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.app.sprotect
It enables the app lock feature on One UI.
Yes sir but at a cost (at least for this method).
With the Terpsichora Hex Plugin:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=project.vivid.ui.plugin.niferpitou
Which requires the Hex Installer:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=project.vivid.hex.bodhi
I have Hex Installer and bought the plugin to test out:
* removing blur from notifications
* large clock (pretty dangerous for aod imo, its too bold)
But ended up refunding the plugin cause:
* i dont care for most of what it does
(idk if theres a way in hex to not apply just about everything from a plugin)
[if anyone knows of one, please do lmk cause i dont fiddle with Hex too much]
* the blur replaced with a solid color is NOT like OneUi before 3 :c
[it just makes the entire screen a solid color <- the way it currently blurs everything behind the panel, not just the amount pulled down ]
If you plan on testing out for yourself, make sure to do so quickly before the refund window closes(idk what it is, i think its 15mins but perhaps its changed over the years).
...i miss OneUi before 3 :(
You could try this icon pack mixer it lets you mix icon packs or set a custom icon per application, then it builds an icon pack that it can apply.
Try this.
If you're not a fan, install KWGT and use one of the hundreds of widgets from packs or make your own. Just keep in mind KWGT doesn't play well with changing resolutions.
I don't think turning off the blur AND transparency is an option in the default software, but you could try power shade. It's an app that replaces your notification shade entirely. It's very customizable and I believe could solve this for you.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.pns
The widgets I got from here
The dock I got from here its an app called blurone.

There is lot of useful mods for Complete One UI. It could help
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=substratum.osukifujioka.completeoneui.mods
You could use mod from Complete One UI
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=substratum.osukifujioka.completeoneui.mods
Here you go had a hard time finding it myself. Also if you wanna take this conversation to telegram you can find me at @dany_ev3 (I'm having a hard time keeping up with the replies from mobile lol)
Yeah, and this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=substratum.osukifujioka.completeoneui.mods
Be sure to read the directions though. Restart when it tells you to restart. I'm fact, I'd look up some directions before you try it.
