You know, I really don't, considering 'cleverest' is a perfectly acceptable superlative form of clever.
Good luck finding your beer, jerk.

Good luck to you in your sexual endevors! Your description of yourself made me laugh pretty hard. It's not everyday someone can say they have a shit-eating grin! Great sense of humor!

Why you using MBTI?
MBTI can wrongly discriminate against yourself and others. Not to mention recently science experiment that examined how reliable were Myer Briggs results. Scientist found any test results we're not considered to be scientific accurate result and invaild
Because subject could take the test one week and then retest in a next week/month/year time. The test would display a completely different next time.
Have a read on this: https://www.linkedin.com/today/post/article/20130917155206-69244073-say-goodbye-to-mbti-the-fad-that-won-t-die
You should not feel comfortable discussing it in PM then, because Reddit saves those forever. Use Wire to chat with strangers because it's private, and you can delete messages or set them to self-destruct. I'm on there with this username if you or anyone else wants to express anything.
Hey, thank you so much for doing this. I had previously thought myself unlucky for missing out on contacting this user, as I seem to be among the few in this sub actually from SEA. Knowing that this user is a scam artist gives me some closure on that.
i finally found another primal player 👀

i play on behemoth (though i don't live in the CA area), so i'm on primal as well. hit me up if you wanna do stuff!
I'm 26. I'm a musician and a geek, studied Literature and Composition in undergrad, and am contemplating grad school in the next 6-10 months or so. Haven't decided what for just yet, but its a work in progress :) I'm currently between reads, but I just finished Warm Bodies (book was MUCH better than the so-so movie). http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=30svqci&s=8#.UyueXNxxsbw is a picture of me
I got Human Resource Machine for Christmas and am enjoying it. It's a puzzle game where you automate a problem-solver using just 11 simple operations such as COPY, PASTE and JUMP.
It's not really the sort of game that you sit up all night playing, however; it's more the sort of game where you play through a few levels, get stuck and decide to pick it up later.
Also, if you like point'n'click adventures, check out Broken Age. It's tied with Monkey Island for my favorite point'n'click of all time.
If you enjoy South Park, South Park™: The Stick of Truth™ is surprisingly good (or at least I thought it was, since I was expecting it to be bad). While many of the gags feel a bit like a "Best Of" reel, it really does feel like you're playing an episode (or several episodes) of South Park. The battle system is simple, but enjoyable.
(A bit of a late post)
I'm Dutch myself and Dutch people are very open, in their own circles. To outsiders they can come off as rude quite and just introvert. As soon as you get to know some people a bit they will tell you everything you want to know and physical things sure aren't a problem.
You live too far away though, I'm a series addict (http://followmy.tv/u/Harmster/time_wasted)
I hope you have some luck in here :)
An easy way to find redditors to date is through okcupid. If you mention reddit on your profile, anyone can search for redditors on okcupid. R4R is basically like a small - international craigslist that is pretty hard to filter and I much prefer using Okcupid to do the work. Instead of writing up a large wall of text here, I can make a profile and update it every once in a while.
Okcupid has these topics of interest on profiles for people to fill out which might help people making posts in r4r:
ps. okcupid also has it's own chat system, voluntary match-making quiz questions, and it's so much easier than using r4r. Please, ladies - if you want to find a redditor then put reddit as an interest or something in your okcupid profile so people can find redditors! Men, do the same!
Yeah, you're definitely a psycho. If you get Wire add me with my username. I'm not your counterpart, but you can say whatever crazy things you want until you figure out how to break out of this isolation.
You sound kind of crazy. If you get Wire you can add me, same username. You can ramble whatever for whatever reason, and I can reply for a while however you want. Then you can stop when you feel better, because I have zero interest in meeting people off here, or even writing much about myself. Anyone else reading this can add me too.
People should try Wire instead of Skype. It actually has the same co-founder as Skype before it was sold to Microsoft. I have the same username on there as here if you or anyone else wants to add for text messaging.

In the context of this post, I mean that I feel I will find someone who I am supposed to be with, therefore casual sex is not welcome to me.
Well, hello. I am in the same situation as travelightly, yet I'm focusing on Europe this year. I am a single 32/F just looking to get to know people from other countries so that I have someone to show me around when I come visit. I'm tentatively planning a trip to Europe in September this year and am thinking of hitting London, Paris and Rome, for starters. Send me a message if you're interested in chatting.
I'm kinda in the same process as you, been losing weight and only just now working on trying to tone up a bit. A lot of the suggestions here are good, but I know from my recent experience that using myfitnesspal makes counting calories pretty easy.
Hey, let me start by asking... are you w4m or m4w? Starting your title with [F] I'd assume w4m, but the commentary has been pointedly ambiguous...
I'm 24 [M], just moved to Bellevue two days ago, and would love to make some new friends this first week! I am an avid console and PC gamer, though it's been a while since I did any table top RPGing. I'm big into the outdoors--moved here for the world's best hiking, cycling, snowboarding, running, etc. I am also the world's biggest baked good slut. I would die happy feasting on banana bread and oatmeal raisin cookies alone. I've been single for over a year and I've been trying the online dating thing with no success for a few months. Maybe using reddit will be more effective than eHarmony and the like?
Let me know in a PM if you're interested in grabbing a coffee or bite to eat!
Okay, so, now we just need a bearing and distance from the Geographic Center of the Conterminous United States! Go!
hit the exerbike dude. your dick will grow an inch for every 35lbs you lose, speaking from experience
To me, someone who doesn't really enjoy frozen or prepared meals... it's the best damn thing in the frozen food isle, lol.
Haha I do =) That's in Edmonton, I actually went to University in Edmonton =) It's called 'West Edmonton Mall' It's actually a really impressive place, but a little too crowded for me haha. I did some speed skating on its rink though! That was an interesting experience.
When my roommates and I met up near the end of August, it was crazy how humid and hot it was here! It was actually kind of nice for a while, but then it almost got to be too much haha. I'm sure we'll get used to it though (one of my roommates is a friend of mine from back home, though she's lived here for a year already)
Just curious, how do you feel about this? I know an ugly girl in Portland whom you wouldn't be into who always gets pissed off when I bring it up.
12 rules for Life by Jordan Peterson - I'm still half-way but I heard so many good reviews.
I'm a software engineer as well with 8 years of professional experience (I'm 28 now). I suggest you build your portfolio and upload your works on GitHub. That'll give you more chances of landing a job. This article might help you prepare for the job. Good luck!

Like you, I trust science more than religion.
It really does seem hard to make friends as an adult. Everyone is so busy with their lives and admittedly I am too. I'm really into spirituality and thought I might meet some interesting friends if I joined a yoga studio, but nope. Then someone recommended meetup.com but there isn't much in my area, and what is here is all just classes.
But hey, exploring abandoned buildings sounds super cool. I've always wanted to try it myself, but I'm too scared. The most adventurous I got was going on a lot of hikes through the foothills on my own. I don't go out as much anymore after running into hogs and cougars though.
The lower half of Georgia is like a sauna, also the air turns yellow in the spring from Pine tree pollen-it's rather nice in the mountains if you can avoid the racists (it is the bible belt). Alabama, super racists (in government positions). Oklahoma city is the one place in Oklahoma I would say is livable, Lawton does have cute prairie dog warrens in town and giant flocks of little black birds in the autumn-but it gets tornadoes, drugs, and a prostitution problem on commercial street. El Paso TX is ok if you know where things are going on, like at Buchanan's event center where they have raves every week, chico's tacos (the taco you can drink), and it's right next to Juarez-never been there tho. Florida, Florida man, enough said. Nevada is like California light from what I've seen so far. Pretty much every group in silicon valley is either on facebook or meetup.com. Massachusetts is alright, but Boston is like Alabama with a New England accent. The rest of New England is pretty chill, but not very exciting. NYC is crazy expensive and has some epic bookstores, but I couldn't crack the nightlife scene-you'd need to find a local source.
It's interesting you say that as in most cases it can be the reverse just as easily. Focus on finding friends outside of dating first, get a firm foundation that supports you (even if that means you need to turn down some dates for a little while) to help balance your life out. An easy trick? Go to Meetup.com. There are a ton of free groups all over of people who have different interests and want to find new people to hang out with. That's how I started a while back, and found some core connections that helped keep me grounded. My 2 cents, but if you want someone to talk to about anything my inbox is always open.
O_O You like RPGs but haven't played CT... WE NEED TO FIX THAT (this goes for everyone who loves J/RPGs)
You'll need an emulator (or this one if you're a Mac)
When you said "I love ice breakers" I thought of this and said "me too!".
You should check out geocaching. It is a lot of fun, especially if you go with someone else. It's a great way to spend a handful of hours. I go with friends and such every now and again. What do you do in your spare time?
Currently playing Dragon Nest, it's a f2p MMORPG. In a guild filled with chill people ages 20+, always talking on raidcall (kinda like skype), Dragon nest <- Website.
You could actually never find yourself on thispersondoesnotexist.com, those images are generated using Machine Learning algorithms, the point is to show the people how easy it has become to make face videos.
Ok, I set up a cytube here: https://cytu.be/r/bandcandy
I'm gonna screen Isla, She Wolf of the SS there tomorrow at 9pm EST. I'll post around on some other subs and maybe make a nightly thing of it.
Has to be squirtle, if your favorite isn’t from the original then you’re not a true master. i haven’t played the new Pokémon since I beat it the first week it came out :P
sounds your someone who should hop on the Mario kart 8 bandwagon, ill play online with you.
im from Colorado, Denver in particular and love to see you interested in anime and to meet a Nintendo-head like myself!!! i watched all of SAO and attack on titan! if your looking for a new anima to watch id see how you like Soul Eater. The new season just came out of funimation.
http://www.funimation.com/shows/soul-eater-not/home
That is the point of the wing man. They are not interested in the person you are trying to be with so they are they to filter bullshit, provide outside perspective, and crowd control their friends. They are there talk you up, and if they are better at socializing then they can introduce you. They can also drop hints that you are making a fool of yourself, and help with you conversation if it sticks. Their sole purpose is to get you laid, as yours is for them. It is kind of a who has the best chance kinda thing.
I'm studying an computing related engineering, my Java isn't the best best but I guess I could handle it and actually I have some experience with some programming languages. Maybe we can be allies on https://www.codewars.com, this page is about practicing coding, it can be helpful for you and we can give each other feedback about or solutions
If you are looking for people to keep you company and motivate u while studying, check this out : https://tinychat.com/room/gottastudy (password : getstudying)
It's an amazing community with people all over the world and from different fields (medical, bio, computer science, law ...) the users either share their desktop screen or put camera on to avoid slacking while study periods. and eventually they can chat and help each other during breaks :)

There's meetup.com and me in Sunnyvale, 30, 5'9'', relatively good shape, down to earth, but a bit boring until drink number 2. Then conversation gets fun. I can show you where to party with Klingon's!
Why don't you meet your friends in Louisiana.
You can use KetchUp to do that. It's new but cool.
To help expand your vocabulary, I could suggest the following apps that you could try out if you wish

I have a few listed on my topic but I've been reading "Peace is Every Step" right now. The idea of mindfulness has been on my mind a lot and the book is a way to explore it. I'm a real hippy, so I'm into that idea of universal love and joy in each moment. I feel like the other books I have listed have fragments of that 'truth' embodied in them in one way or another.
Hi there. :) 41F Midwest New to this whole Reddit thing. Your post caught my eye. But just the one. The other eye is a loner; a rebel.
I am also a fan of the Oxford comma, grammar, and other word related things. I made soap, jam, and some needle felted animals for my friends and family this Christmas and I hope to attempt making a quilt in the near future. So something of a wanna-be pioneer.
I enjoy lots of different types of music, movies, and TV shows. Most recent movies: Rogue One, Hidden Figures, Arrival. Most recent TV binges: Sherlock, Miss Fisher's Mysteries, The Crown, The Fall. Most recent books: Leah Remini's biography, Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow, The Girl on the Train.
If you'd like to chat, I'd be happy to. If not, all the best! :)
Also, reading Learned Optimism, The War of Art, and another book called Flow are amazing reads. Opened my eyes a ton about creativity and taking pride in my work. I make way creepier, way more sexy awesome art now that I would have never attempted before
Very nice, some of my favorite are:
Harry Potter series Hunger game series Rose Madder The chronicles of Narnia A series of Unfortunate events The Art of War
Oh man, i remember having to learn about a clockwork orange from psychology 101. One of the most boring things ever. Dont get me wrong i love to learn, but gahh i nearly fell asleep. And i love anything science fiction!
Thanks for responding, I have some techniques to deal with it but when it hits hard they all seem to go out the window. My sister recently gave me a pretty well regarded book and cd combo about mindfulness meditation that for some reason I haven't really looked at yet. The book is called Full Catastrophe Living, perhaps you know of it. I think I should give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestions.
I never thought I'd find someone who has read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance leisurely. I had to read it years ago for a class. I wish I remembered more about it so I'd have something thoughtful to say though.
Yeah, it's just 3 books away from going to the top of my list. I'm reading "So Good They Can't Ignore You" by Cal Newport next, and have "Reamde" by Neal Stephenson after that, and then I'll be starting on "The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat".
> Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
Read it (voluntarily), I remember none of it. It was interesting, for its time, but not groundbreaking by modern standards.
Frankly, I swear by Albert Camus (Myth of Sisyphus). When it comes to helping you feel significant, he blows everyone out of the water.
I've read lot more philosophy as well, and I'm very introspective so I might understand some of your problems. Feel free to PM me.
Hi Pizza Safeword,
I hope it is not intrusive to share this; my sister is 32 and lost the love of her life this spring after 2 years of glioblastoma treatment. In all the anguish of trying to fit pieces back together these past few months, she said reading The Year of Magical Thinking has been especially comforting. It is an autobiographical book on bereavement (specifically of a partner). There's no wrong way to grieve, best wishes in your continued path.
My all-time favorite book is Katherine Dunn's Geek Love. Though it's set in the real world it leans more towards fantasy than science fiction. But I know several science fiction fans who thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I think it might be to your liking as well.
https://smile.amazon.com/Geek-Love-Novel-Katherine-Dunn/dp/0375713344/
It isn't free. You pay for the game, but after that it is free (like Overwatch). It is actually on sale now for $25. https://www.amazon.com/Clancys-Rainbow-Siege-Online-Game/dp/B00VF6A5JE/ref=sr_1_1_twi_sof_5?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1480444638&sr=1-1&keywords=rainbow%2Bsix%2Bsiege&th=1
I recommend it if you like FPS.
I'm really good, although it's the next day now that I am getting around to replying! :)
Sitting here in my PJs, listening to a baby babbling, nomming on a chorizo and egg taco, putting off housework. The standard day off around here!
From the research I have done and the testing (with packed bags while hiking a few miles, to test stress points), it's important to get one that can support the right weight and not overburden yourself. Everyone - men and women alike, I think - wants to think they're stronger than they are. What I've read says your bag shoudl be no heavier than 1/3 of your body weight for men and 1/4 for women. So getting something that can hold that much securely AND have ways to balance out the load is important. You can't expect your shoulders alone to bear that load, or lower back in a bad fitting bag.
This is the one that I am using currently. It has lots of ties downs, which I love, so I can attach things I would need to keep handy to the outside of it. The straps are super tough and it's big enough to carry a lot. For me, it's almost too big though, but for a man, it would be good. I like it this way though.
If you're buying this for your lady and she's busty, be aware that you will likely need to sew extensions into the front straps. It's not comfortable or supportive to let them lay above your breasts. They should go across, from what I've found when walking with it, so grab a bit of extra canvas strapping and heavy duty thread and give her a few extra inches to allow for the boobage. These bags are nearly always designed for men.
Yeah, I've been reading this amazing book called The Dorito Effect. It's very interesting, especially in regards to understanding why we crave crappy crap.
I saw your post in /r/buildapc and saw that you wanted the three fan cooler? I have this on my r9 290 and it keeps it at a low 32 to 38 Celsius 100rpm and I can't hear a damn thing!
http://www.arctic.ac/us_en/accelero-xtreme-iv.html
It's cheaper on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HHMJIIO/
The only I don't think you'll be able to SLI with that cooler on each one. Still this cooler is the best investment I have ever made since I do .

Not a PT, but I hope this book helps. You also might want to visit /r/loseit and /r/xxfitness for other good tips. Loseit helped me cut 20+ pounds earlier this year, but I've been off diet for about a month now and gained some back.
You should be able to get an adapter, if you care enough. Or a replacement cord
Hi. How are you doing? If you want to vent, let me help you. PM me.
Also if you want to talk about specifics drop by /r/depression. If you want to try something that might help you, try this book. It has been recommended by some people on that thread. You can usually find a copy online if you look for it.
All the best!
That's understandable. The good thing is there are lots of expats in Abu Dhabi who will have been through the same process so will know how you feel. Have you checked out /r/abu_dhabi?
A good way of making new friends is to join a club or group that does your favourite hobby. I met lots of people scuba diving, for example.
I recommend getting a copy of the Abu Dhabi Explorer Residents Guide if you haven't already.
This is my favorite fantasy book. http://www.amazon.com/Aurian-First-Book-Maggie-Furey/dp/0553565257
I read it almosy every year. It's a decent fantasy and a very well written female protagonists.
Hold on a sec...
http://www.amazon.com/The-Animal-Omnibus-Grant-Morrison/dp/1401238998
You may want to wait for that.
As for now...
That is what I'll recommend you grab first if you can find it.
Buddhist Philosophy: Essential Readings I had studied Buddism in an intro philosophy course at university. We were required to read Zen Mind, Beginners Mind as part of the course. I enjoyed the book but didn't do much with it. Later, when I was older, I had a psychedelic experience in which I experienced Kensho, or temporary enlightenment, and this gave me the catalyst to delve into it further.
I thought the last book was on par with the rest of them. I do enjoy scifi humor, but I ten to prefer serious SciFi. Right now I am in the middle of Engineering Inifinty. It's not a single story, but excerpts from some of the most influential SciFi novels. It really has me thinking, which is what I enjoy most about a novel.
A bit older myself(23), but hey, I'm around for friend positions. Went to school here and job afterwards, so been here @ 5-6 years? Great city to move to, don't see myself moving anytime soon. :)
I'm more of a manga fan than comics. Videogame wise I'm up for mostly anything, and just bought the borderlands deal someone posted here up on reddit Link. I've also been playing a good deal of League of Legends. Think I like suspense more than horror, and comedy/action above that movie wise. Also pretty active if you're into the uh,... active lifestyle?
It's good! I'm on book 2, Before They Were Hanged. Think a less complicated/not as in-depth version of A Song Of Ice And Fire. I'm awful at describing things though, so Let me link to book one and let Amazon help you out.
A bartender! Exciting! One of my friends bartends and has similar feelings of "best job ever" :p I'll have a beer in a few minutes in your honor!
In case you have no luck here, /r/norsk is a relatively active sub for learning Norwegian. The app Hello Talk may help you exchange with native speakers, too. Thought I'd share. All the best!
