I've been buying flavored water (not bubbly) and mixing a little in with each liter of water that I carbonate. I stretch a 16oz bottle across 3 liters (3 sodastream bottles full). its basically identical to ublock, but with some extra features. it randomly fake clicks some of the ads in the background (you still dont see them). this wastes the advertisor's money and the platform's money. it also scrambles any kind of demographic profile the data collection agencies have on you, because for some reason, "you" are just as likely to click on ads targeted at all demographics. you gain back some privacy by sending them more noise than data.

These are great for a finish carpenter, just cut the pointer and middle finger tips off to feel joints. They wear out, but can last probably longer than you can stand the smell tbh.

Yeah, as far as neurology/psychology goes I'm just some random layperson, but I've been really digging into the research lately and honestly, to me, this is what everything seems to point to. Freaks me the fuck out.
If you're interested in this stuff I really recommend When the Air Hits Your Brain by Dr. Frank Vertosick (he's a neurosurgeon). It's a lot of insight into how the brain works as told through the more interesting highlights of his career. Super fascinating and more than a little unsettling.
Or, at the very least, a community. If you couldn't leave your house out of fear that your neighbors (or your children) would ransack it while you were out, then nothing would ever get done. Ideally, you and the neighbors would go in on paying a guard's salary and you could all do productive work.

We can talk about deplatforming nazis all day but it won't change the fact that neither of us get to decide what YT deems to be right or wrong, that's part of the issue. YT as a concept is multi-faceted. It is a community of viewers, content creators, a platform for distributing videos, but also it is the product of a corporation whose interests take 100% precedence over those other conceptions. It is one of several examples of totalitarian structures imposed on communities of (willing) individuals whose mere presence on the platform provide a substantial part of its value. Reddit is another example of this except the value extracted out of the user is even more substantial (self-moderating, discussion-driven, sub-culture generating). There are free, egalitarian, democratic alternatives to these major social media platforms. Platforms that are designed to be fundamentally democratic and/or anarchist in their approach to moderation.
People on those sites can have meaningful and productive discussions about the ethics of deplatforming because they have the capacity to enact the consensus.

That's debatable. It's not even in the top 10. Considering there aren't really that many social media sites anymore, I wouldn't consider place 13 as one of the most popular, but midfield at max. It probably looks different in the US, but if you look globally, Reddit isn't really a big player. Over here in Germany for example, the majority maybe knows the name (if even that) but never used it. The subreddit for native German speaking countries, /r/de, has 208k users, which is 0.2% of D/A/CH region (100 mio.). Maybe not all speakers are subscribed, but some have multiple accounts too so this represents the usage more or less accurately.
Doesn't change the validity of your argument of course, just wanted to point this out. Outside of English speaking countries, Reddit is a pretty small platform.

There's no time like the present bud. Amazon's got some decent (completely silent) magnetic stationary bikes for pretty cheap, do like me and put one in the living room so you can crush cardio while gaming or watching Netflix or whatever. Aside from Friday nights I only let myself game when I'm on the bike, so if I want to shoot Super Mutants in the face for an hour every day I gotta be pedalling my ass off. Here's the one I got, it's rated at 330lbs and feels pretty damn sturdy with my near 200lbs on it.
Pro tip though, get some padded bike shorts, after too long my ass and taint would go numb, which was fine in the moment, but as soon as I got off the bike it would of course turn to pins and needles but it would spread to my dick. Not the entire thing mind you, just one half for some reason. You ever have pins and needles in one half of your dick? It's really, really fucking weird, and my wife found it way more amusing than she should have.
im aware how how weight shifting works and how to implement it in driving. its true most fwds have more weight in the front but under braking you know where the weight goes. this gives fwd an advantage on entry but due to the the disadvantage on exit they take a later entry line which lets them have higher exit speeds. i dont think ill change my mindset much but im sure itll grow and develop. rwd usually has a worse and less stable entry than fwd but a better mid corner, its easiest to think about this as rwd is in the middle and is decent before, in and after corner.

Only to help calm me down and get me to sleep (I used toss and turn for HOURS before I could go to sleep & then when I would finally go to sleep if my husband would make the slightest move (i.e toss or turn) I would be wide awake trying for another hour or two to go back to sleep. You and I are in total agreement here. I personally don't care about this chick and I really could care less about what she gets off on or how she makes her money. It doesn't affect me at all. To actually acknowledge your comment though, I feel my criticism is totally valid. I don't doubt that an ancient historian of questionable credibility may have mentioned a man who's name literally translates to "Son of the Father", but modern religious scholars pretty much universally agree that the story of Barabbas as it applies to Jesus was a creation of St. Mark.
Evidence 1) There is no documentation outside of the gospels of a tradition in Jerusalem (or elsewhere) that calls for the release of a prisoner at passover.
Evidence 2) Even if there was, there's no way Pontius Pilate would allow it in this case since the release of a man convicted of insurrection against the Roman Empire would have been a crime in and of itself.
Evidence 3) The original Hebrew texts refer to Barabbas as "Yeshua Bar Abba" (Jesus Barabbas), which leads many to believe that Jesus and Barabbas are actually the same person, as they had both been arrested by the Romans and were on trial for sedition. There never was an actual choice between them, but rather different perspectives of the same man: One a peaceful protester, the other a dangerous rebel rouser.
