You don't need an outdoor antenna unless you're in a very rural area. Most indoor antennas will pick up stations within 40-50 miles. I just got one and I can get stations in RI and NH. Boston broadcasters are rock solid and I'm actually thinking of dropping cable.

Well if you have a dvd burner in your computer and a little bit computer savvy, you could make your own dvds.

1. find the full games on youtube.
2. use youtube-dl (or youtube-dl-gui if need a gui) to download each game to a file (mp4). Hopefully these will be less than 4.1GB which is about what a single sided DVD holds. Game 3 might be a problem.
3. Use you favorite dvd burning software to create a playable dvd with each file.

Similar to a VPN, it changes the address that your connection goes through. Unlike a VPN though, you don't need to log in/out of anything. You can change the DNS settings right on your device or at the router level.

Just a note that if you're going to use MLB.tv with an iPad or iPhone, the newest version of the At Bat app uses the GPS of the device, so even a VPN or DNS change won't work. The only way around it (that I know of) is yo jailbreak your phone and spoof the location.

It's actually a compilation of a number of pieces from Baseball Prospectus authors. The one that really stands out is called "The A-Rod Advantage."
