Jerry Remy, the Red Sox announcer and former baseball player has actually written a book called Watching Baseball: Discovering the Game within the Game that is a guide for you to learn about what each player does as well as some next level strategies. There's also a lot of baseball and anecdotes. Since you live in Boston you can probably find it in your local library. Good luck!
You don't need an outdoor antenna unless you're in a very rural area. Most indoor antennas will pick up stations within 40-50 miles. I just got one and I can get stations in RI and NH. Boston broadcasters are rock solid and I'm actually thinking of dropping cable.

Private Internet Access is great. I've been using them for many years now and can confirm it works with . I live right outside Boston and use it to get around blackouts to watch the Sox basically every game.
According to this, John Henry says 30 years or so a couple years ago. He said he'll leave it for the next ownership group.
So, if I play my cards right and become a multi-billionaire within the next 20 years, I could buy the Red Sox.
Am birb, Hate called games on account of not reading the weather. When they know damn well that the weather has been complete crap almost the entire month on both sides of the coast. Wildfires on the west, floods in the east.
Game shouldn't have even started. https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Baltimore+MD+21201:4:US Look at this mess.
Why was it even scheduled.
Porcello - Narrowing down the options to the obvious three: Price, Porcello and Wright, it’s hard to argue against Porcello
Of those three, for the season Porcello leads the trio in WAR (2.9), has the lowest WHIP (1.08), is second in ERA (3.46), and he throws the least amount of Pitches per game (102.5) despite being just three innings behind Wright in innings pitched. Porcello does rank last in the trio in K/9 but not by much, and that’s an overrated stat if you’re getting hit hard elsewhere.
Post All-Star break: Porcello will lead the rotation in Innings pitched after tonight (8/9 vs. Yankees). Excluding tonight, Porcello leads the trio in WHIP (0.77), ERA (2.70), is second in K/9, and is 3-0 in the process.
Additionally, excluding tonight, the following Quality Start rankings: Porcello (15), Wright (15), Price (14). The only argument the Sox have for Price is his price tag, and the idea to have him put his money where his mouth is. Sadly, Price is horrible in the playoffs. Looking at splits- Porcello is by far the best at home, Wright is the best on the road, but Porcello isn’t bad. Price is a distant third in both.

That's not what the ESPN article that came out today said. He was burned out in Boston and needed a change of scenery
But the teams fly though...it's a 6 hour flight to Seattle and in reality you only add maybe 2 hours at most to fly to Vancouver
Similar issue happened in 2013 with the Red Sox against.....the Mariners:
http://ftw.usatoday.com/2013/08/mariners-manager-confuses-left-from-right-helps-cost-his-team-a-game
Heres a directive from MLB after the incident:
The directive reads:
"Official Baseball Rule 3.06 governs substitutions including pitching changes and requires the manager to immediately notify the umpiring crew of any substitution.
"This Rule has been interpreted by the umpires to require the manager to stick with the pitcher he signaled for. Thus, if a manager notifies the umpiring crew that he is making a pitching change by clearly and unambiguously signaling for a left-handed pitcher with his left hand, or a right-handed pitcher with his right hand, that team is thereafter required to bring that pitcher into the game. If there is uncertainty when bringing a pitcher into the game (e.g., two left-handed pitchers warming up simultaneously in the bullpen and the manager signals only with his left hand), the umpire has the discretion to ask the manager to identify the substitute pitcher by name. If the wrong player attempts to enter the game under those circumstances, a correction can be made as long as it is done immediately."
Well if you have a dvd burner in your computer and a little bit computer savvy, you could make your own dvds.
Yes, but those things can be turned around. You can develop new habits to replace the old ones.
You might be interested in this book. It's an easy read and it's helped me a lot.
Or not. Feel free to tell me to buzz off and I'll catch up with you again in the GDT.
I'm trying to remember the name of a DNS server that lets you watch ESPN3 if your ISP doesn't carry it. I used it to watch the BBC's Olympic coverage -- I'm pretty sure it wasn't Unblock-Us since it was totally free, not just a trial. Anyone know of it?
Just a little factoid, Hank Greenberg played for East Douglas in the Mill League before starting his career with the Tigers.
This article pretty much sums it up:
He had always planned to leave at some point, and was working with Cherington on a "transition plan" to leave after 10 years.
Francona gets fired and that makes him expedite this plan: "I thought it would be awkward at best and disastrous at worst to be involved in the process of finding a new manager when I was likely to be making a transition myself"
> Epstein admitted he'd "probably still be in Boston if Terry hadn't left."
This seems to completely contradict the rest of his Op Ed and the clearly stated goal of leaving after 10 years, working with Cherington on a transition, etc, etc. I wonder if he was just throwing support Terry's way.
$44.99 a month for the one that includes NESN. Ones cheaper but doesn't have NESN. There's a 5 day free trial. Five simultaneous streams and etc. I love it. Plus no contract.
Just got rid of cable as well and I'm going to try this with an MLB.tv subscription:
Similar to a VPN, it changes the address that your connection goes through. Unlike a VPN though, you don't need to log in/out of anything. You can change the DNS settings right on your device or at the router level.
Just a note that if you're going to use MLB.tv with an iPad or iPhone, the newest version of the At Bat app uses the GPS of the device, so even a VPN or DNS change won't work. The only way around it (that I know of) is yo jailbreak your phone and spoof the location.
First witnessed Yankees loss came with a Stockings' Win! https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/DtRTgnyt3TB36X7hcDXEmH5zW3IhpkVbIMjECMwfIOX
I’m currently using Private Internet Access. It was a yearly subscription for like $2/month. I was using Opera VPN Browser which was free, but the video wouldn’t play on . Didn’t say anything about blackout restrictions or detected use of VPN either
I wouldn't mind a book about his post-playing days, sure, but I suspect this is as close as it's getting
Can anyone recommend which 2013 Championship Blu Ray to buy? Amazon lists two:
There was a Franklin Sports book I used to use but I found a free printable scorecard online a long time ago and photocopy it at the library to save ink.
Franklin Book: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B004ODRY26/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have no affiliation with either amazon or the seller, but I enjoyed using that book.
I can't seem to find the printable one I use(d). Wondering if I didn't just start photocopying the books I bought... Either way, I love scoring games to the point I take it with me when I watch a game at a friend's.
no prob. here's a quick how-to on a home router flashed with DD-WRT.
you dont necessarily need DD-WRT .. my off-the-shelf ASUS router from best buy has admin sections for putting in your vpn info.
Do you mean the Kansas City Athletics back in the 50s-60s?
For those that don't know, the owner of the Kansas City Athletics (after they moved from Philly and before they moved to Oakland), was the owner of Yankee Stadium (he had to sell the stadium when he became the A's owner). He was of course friends/business partners with the Yankees' owners and executives. There were a bunch of trades in this time period that look a bit suspicious. There's a book in this: The Kansas City A's and the Wrong Half of the Yankees: How the Yankees Controlled Two of the Eight American League Franchises During the 1950s
[Someone already did that with the Patriots.](https://www.amazon.com/Gronking-Remember-Book-Gronkowski-Erotica-ebook/dp/B00RN7TNHE) So you may already have a market for your homebrew Boston professional athelete erotica.
There's a great book called Mind Game: How the Boston Red Sox Got Smart, Won a World Series, and Created a New Blueprint for Winning. It's actually a compilation of a number of pieces from Baseball Prospectus authors. The one that really stands out is called "The A-Rod Advantage." It's a sabermetric analysis of the transaction that wasn't, and the medium-term impact of its falling through. Delightful that at the end of the piece, you finally see the authorship of the article: it was written by Nate Silver, who would go on to enjoy quite a bit of fame. Anyhow, I suggest you get your hands on a copy of the excellent book and its deep dive into answering your question.
I broke down and got after the last couple weeks of unstable streams. Weird how the streams never go down during the breaks... Works OK along with Mullvad to watch blackout games. is like $25 for the rest of the season right now.
Sadly no longer available to stream I believe, $16.99 for the DVD on Amazon, also currently available for free rental at the Brookline, Medway, and Stow branches of the minuteman library network (assuming you are in the GBA)

Fenway cap. Always him to support the team covertly and avoid the public shame for rooting for these guys right now.
Fenway Cap Allows him to show his support for the team without having to endure the razzing us RedSox fans rightfully deserve for rooting for these guys.
I put on Joe over the broadcast.
If anyone else hasn't pointed out ExpressVPN works well for me. They are usually on top of their IP addresses and get them sorted out if they end up getting blocked by MLBTV.
I typically will use West Coast for East Coast games and Frankfurt for ESPN broadcasts.
I've found the android TV app to be shitty and I'll usually just cast it from my iPad to my TV.
Worst case scenario I have to use my laptop with a browser.
EVPN just advertised installing the application on my router to me so I might do that and see if it makes Android experience better. Or build a PiHole.
Also if you go the VPN pay for one like NordVPN. Don’t go the free route. It’s worth the money especially if you have Netflix, Disney+ or other streaming services because you can get programs offered in other regions. I set mine to Canada and get shows like the office and Fargo still on Netflix.
Not the only one. From my comment in /r/baseball yesterday:
>Totally see the Marlins view. But as for losing their MVP, at least the Marlins don't seem to be playoff bound this year (its like 0.5% chance of making the playoffs; yes its much better than my faded flair, but I'd feel way worse for the team if say the Angels lost Trout). Hopefully, he fully recovers and is opening day ready and doesn't have Tony Conigliaro change to his career.
He was on the old side at 31 and making $9M/year. I think the idea was that we were supposed to be eating his contract as part of getting a favorable trade for Beckett, even though he was still totally worth the money he was making.
http://www.espn.com/mlb/news/story?id=2232211
For whatever reason, the Marlins like to bounce between signing big splashy contracts and dumping salary like it's a fire-sale every other offseason.
If you have a Raspberry Pi: Use Pihole.
If you don't: Things get more complicated. If you have an old computer lying around, you can put a supported operating system on it like Ubuntu and install the Pihole software on that.
You can also install Docker and run a Docker container, which is a gigantic pain in the ass to get right.

Well, shit. You should inform the medical field. They don't have a method, so I'm sure they'd love to use the one you have that allows you to work with CTE patients.
You're talking out of your ass dude and you're not even close.
> Bryce Brentz
Further confirming that it's Brentz is this photo of Gibson without the arm sleeve and ankle protector.
Nah bub, the reasons that led me to say "Pomeranz has good numbers" because he does havent changed. Goalposts are in the same spot, and I even admitted it was limited exposure, being pretty much as down the middle as possible there.
> I was merely explaining the obvious and convincing logic behind the decision that you were either unaware of or choosing to ignore.
Easy there tough guy, I understand the decision and even said I was ok with it. I didn't LIKE it but I certainly understood where they were coming from. And again as I mentioned previously, my gripe was with everyone jumping up and down over the Espinoza for Pomeranz trade and then shedding light on the fact that Pomeranz got bumped for a dude with a 4.99 ERA before today.
And although you may choose to ignore what Clay just did on the mound, I would suggest that you pick a better hill to die on than the logic behind choosing to pitch Clay Buchholz in ANY game of importance. But, if you say it was obviously the right decision then who am I to argue?

Here is a review I found of streamtorrent from google. I have another program like it and haven't had any problems so I guess it is a safe program to use.
I'm using dot vpn at the moment and its working well so far. Its a paid one however you can get a 1month free trial which you can just keep renewing by using a new email address Edit: would recommend using a random email address from here http://www.yopmail.com/en/email-generator.php so you don't get spam
Def give it a try. It's really good.
Please make sure you use orange bitters, not regular ordinary aromatic bitters.
Your recommendation looked interesting, but when I clicked on it, I got a dead link. I looked it up by title and I think this is the one you meant?
Ah, that's an awesome tip as well. Hadn't thought about a heat lamp!
I had meant a really really cheap one, like: https://www.amazon.com/Homidic-Handheld-Electric-Portable-Embossing/dp/B07P5WFHJ7/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=heat+gun&qid=1608234401&sr=8-7
I've got a torch for pour paintings for similar reasons as well, but $12 is about the same price, and doesn't run out of butane ;)
I am planning to buy one of these bad boys even if I don't make it to Fenway.
Changes watching Victory Parades, and everything.
You should be able to use the free trial for the series this week, but it's $5 a month and I watch all the games this way. Watched the ESPN game last night on cause I can't stand ESPN's player.
I 2nd the . I live in florida now and this is the best way I've found to stay connected. As for a DNS, the one that I use is Unlocator, works great. Cheap too, right now they are doing a deal to get 25% off. So it's like $3.71 a month. I set it up for baseball season and then just shut it off when I don't need it.
Edit: Promo code for 25% off is HOMERUN

I This is pretty close to mine. It’s not the exact same one, but they’re all based off the same open source design. You usually have to assemble them. It takes a while, but you really get to know how it works.

It says it fits two, I have 3 in it, My drivers license, my debit card, and my keycard to get into my work office. But I also have an apple watch with apple pay so I don't always have to use my debit card, but it's a safe bet to have and allows me to "forget" I have two credit cards and leave them in my wallet at home.

it's okay, I got my gf one of the cheap $10 ones from wal-mart and she loves it and leaves it on her desk at work. This one decides it's going to spin a white LED light for about a solid minute while it starts charging which is annoying in the night.
My iPhone 7 Plus was my favorite phone since the iPhone 4. But the X is pretty much neck-and-neck. I upgrade yearly because I'm a gadget nerd.

I think there was a section in About the Bnai Bagels where some diehard fan has her ashes scattered at her favorite stadium. As a kid, I didn't think that was all that weird.

The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon is really creepy and good.
He also wrote Faithful with Stuart O'Nan--their "diaries" of the 2004 season. I loved it.
