I don't even think that spoiler is going to be in the anime. It doesn't add anything to the plot since we already have a connection between Daru and Kurisu's PC.
You don't even need to be a master hacker to make something impenetrable. I have a flash drive with Linux Mint installed on it which, according to How Secure is My Password?, would take about 56 sesvigintillion years to figure out the password.
It took me less than a minute to set up and Mint is on par with any Windows system as to noob friendliness.

Spoiler(read only if you have read the VN) Track 27 from CD 2 is titled >!Luka's death!<
December 21st... amazon listing
You'll probably have to import it from Amazon Japan or another site.
As for an English patch (if you need one), a guide on how to apply the English patch to a legally obtained copy of the game can be found halfway down this page.
I also want to point out that several OS's and even some Hard Drives come with sufficiently competent encryption software.
Take for example the most popular linux distro, Mint, which has built in hard drive encryption(on top of the usual password prompt).
You wouldn't even need anything special to make a hard drive practically uncrackable. For example, by using the first paragraph of this very comment as a password, according to howsecureismypassword, you'd need up to 5,653,984,132,174,864,000,000,000 sexagintillion years to crack by brute force.
Even if you made thousands of copies of the HD, and use them to run simultaneous brute force attacks, humanity would be extinct by the time it finished.
Here's two, including the licensor:
Funimation --Just saw their note that more details are coming out about that at the end of November, so the answers to your detailed questions are probably a few weeks away.
This is a great introduction to Chaos;Child.
If you are a fan of Steins;Gate, and if you're looking from another great story from the same creators, I implore you to check out Chaos;Child in September.
~~Use https://nyaa.si/~~
I mean, piracy is bad. Buy it here.
You can get it here through Amazon
But I got mine for cheaper by looking around on ebay
There is particularly one lab coat through Amazon that most Okabe cosplayers (myself included) get. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002B5XK54/
50L is about it. It's still not quite "that" anime or costuming ankle length, but real lab coats typically avoid length for fire and safety reasons. Beyond this, you're looking at commissions, making your own, or a costume (ie halloween) lab coat.
You can get the same one I have there from amazon (here). I don't know what size I have, but it's pretty big on me (6'0" female), but looked pretty good on Okabe (6'4" male). Use their sizing chart, I suppose.
It's not as hard as you might think. There are a number of rules that govern them and the way they're read is dependent on the placement of specific radicals.
jisho has a section where you can select radicals (it will prevent you from picking invalid combinations) and build them.
Here ya go. Tbh it's not that well made and the "forehead" area could use some work but I'm still proud of it. I apologize for the lack of organization, literally only learned how to graph like this yesterday night lol
I ordered mine through Amazon! The link I'm dropping is for all three types of pins: Amadeus, S;G 0, and S;G

Hope it helps :^)
The Visual Novel is available to purchase from JBOX I haven't really been able to find it selling for a decent price anywhere else.
The manga (which was made after) can be purchased from The Book Depository it's currently still being translated but in total there will be 3 volumes
If you feel like supporting them you found always buy the Blu-Rays; two volumes, 4 discs. I bought mine on eBay for ~$50 AUD total and I hear it might be going on Amazon for cheaper, but I live in Australia and use eBay so I cannot confirm.
As of now, the movie hasn't been translated. Funimation have licensed it, but the only version you can buy is over eBay from Japan. that being said the Blu-Ray case and disc are black, which is really sick.
Ninja Edit: actually I thought of the PERFECT visual novel for you to play first. its Free, and emotional. you'll get teary eyed: Katawa Shoujo. Contrary to what you may think, its not pornographic for the sake of being pornographic. the characters are amazing and I think you'll enjoy, its very short compared, each girl has a story around 5-9 hours long depending on how fast you read
Original message: Have you played chrono trigger, or a final fantasy game? its basically all dialogue all the time, with charcter profiles. and a cell phone which you can click on. but theres no other gameplay other than making calls to certain people.
I'd say get the game anyway its well worth it. its only about 24 hours long
Depending on your country, you can purchase it on iTunes.
It is also to purchase a CD version on a site like Amazon or Ebay.
I have a download here. Also, be aware that the patch replaces ALL character outfits with the underwear ones, and sometimes it causes the plot to stop making sense (for instance, the plot will talk about a school uniform/a swimsuit while the girl is obviously wearing nothing but undies).
Actually, there is a version on subscene that combines the srt files with OP / signs / titles from another subtitle, something the srt closed captions lacked.
According to the VNDB entry, there are no English translations atm. I think Zakobot is translating it as he plays it and uploads it to youtube. He did the same thing with Steins;Gate - Hiyoku Renri no Darling, another S;G VN by the same ppl, but Hiyoku Renri no Darling is basically a fanservice VN more than anything else.

It's currently unavailable, but don't worry. Just check often the link, it should be available at some time.
Uhhh it's just the "Steins;Gate" manga. The only one that got official localization. This is in the volume 2 iirc.
I can't give a link or else I'll be smited by the mods, except maybe this one : https://www.amazon.com/dp/192792555X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_t1_ZVQG468QSJJ5V9KCG4WH
You can get the VN soundtrack from Amazon Japan (physically). As for figurines of the characters...I don't think they sadly exist. I might be wrong though.
So if you look at a standard magnet (such as this random one I found on Google), it has two end, which are often coloured red and blue to make them easy to tell apart. The red end is often called the North pole and the blue end the South pole. If you try to get two magnets and stick them together at the red end (so stick two North poles together), they won't stick together, instead they actively push away from each other (they repel each other). The same goes if you try to push two blue ends together (two South poles). Magnets only stick together if you connect one red side of the magnet to the blue side of another magnet (so a North pole to a south pole).
The reason they are called North and South pole is because if you were to get a magnet and tie it in the middle on a string and let it just dangle in the air, one end would point towards the Earth's North pole and one end would point towards the Earth's South pole, as the Earth itself is "magnetic". This is how compasses work.
Hopefully this will help my first comment make more sense.

With this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.awesome.giflivewallpaper
Just select the gif you want, place it and save, select to use in both screens (lock and home) Your phone must be compatible with animated wallpapers to work properly
If you're still looking for it, this app can hide the buttons without messing with the apps, so Steins;Gate doesn't crash. It still has some small black bars for me, but at least the image is centered on the screen and not moved to the side.

Useful tip for translating:
Since you'll be playing on a console, there's no way you'll be able to use an actual text hooker. So I found out that you could use Kanji recognition apps instead. I use Yomiwa, it works alright.
If you don't have a phone or can't use the app, well, there's always the online Kanji drawing stuff.
Is there a spoiler free guide to get it? I used one for 999 as there were some non-obvious triigers and endings one had to complete in order to unlock it but all it was was a sort of flowchart where there were absolutely no spoilers.
I have one from Amazon as well: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09LV5YKJH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks so much!
These arent exactly the ones I was wearing but its the right brand / series. Its the "Mattias" series from Geox.
They were actually my regular shoes because they're really comfy, so much so I bought the exact same series pair when my old ones wore out.
That's the Japanese version of Robotics;Notes DaSH. I don't think it's worth much anymore, honestly. Amazon JP has it at ~3,100 yen.
The English version of DaSH never had an individual release physically—just the Double Pack with Robotics;Notes Elite.
You can get it on Crunchyroll with a VPN, even a free one. I used ProtonVPN myself, but you can probably even get it with a browser extension or something.
Gotta make an account for them, sadly, but it was worth it for me lol.
A shame to see the box will only have 2 discs, as that implies it will be quite a low bitrate. Amazon link if anyone's interested.
If you're looking for actual fanfiction starring a traumatised Okabe, I've recently written one of those myself.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/13800741/chapters/31729572
It is still really new, but the feedback so far has been very positive. it takes place in the Steins Gate wordline post-true ending, where Okabe and Kurisu try to help eachother deal with the remaining trauma of the alpha worldline issues. It doesn't entirely fulfill your requests but I still think it should be a decent read.
So just I checked the site, and Steins;Gate does have a page on Crunchyroll still...
https://www.crunchyroll.com/steinsgate/videos
....but there's no videos or anything on there as a result of the ending of the Fumination/Crunchyroll partnership sometime ago. It also still appears on the website's search suggestions if you input "steins" into the search bar.
I believe what you're referring to was just one person who actually said something about it before in a thread. Unless if some people think that 0 is a prequel, and that you should totally watch prequels first, I would find it hard to believe you'd watch something first where on the page description it literally says,
"A divergent continuation of the original Steins;Gate ending, ..."
Then again, it's a little out of the way on the sidebar. Still, a quick Google search would give you everything you need to know: Hulu and Funimation links, even the entire original series available for free on YouTube in the U.S. Maybe no one reads what they're getting into? That exact kind of reasoning is how you end up like this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/tifu/comments/8q9x56/tifu_by_accidentally_buying_tickets_to_the_red/
It really is peculiar how it keeps happening, though. Maybe this is the new encephalitis at work.
Ide stands for integrated development environment, I could give you a tutorial for Windows but I haven't used Linux (yet), however the ide I'm using is pycharm, which does have a Linux release I think
https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/#section=linux
The download link, there a Linux tab, where I'm guessing you can download the app image or whatever Linux uses to install (there also something about installing it from a command line on Ubuntu at the bottom so check that out ig)
I just went to the discord server: server and went to the chaos;head portion of it. The first pinned comment is the link to the download. If you’d like to pm me or something I’d be glad to help
It's from Chaos;Child( see C;C) flair
As everyone would I suggest you read the Chaos;Head VN(you can find it here https://discord.com/invite/YBmZzfA) and then Chaos;Child(which in my opinion is even better than Steins Gate).

It was on Youtube a few times, but has been taken down since. Otherwise, you can find it packaged with the part 1 Blu-ray on Amazon. Though honestly, for $6 more you might as well just get the Limited Edition given the massive price decrease Amazon just applied to it.
I REALLY want to now! I only have a Switch and don't have others consoles of Windows PC. My best bet is to wait for a Switch Release of 0. It might be happening, at least in Japan. Really hoping we'll see a western release.
My install looked a bit different; it didn't have the \Roaming\ folder, but Nitroplus was right under AppData.
However, I also had a STEINS;GATE folder beside the Nitroplus folder in AppData, as well as the one IN the Nitroplus folder. Very confusing.
I've zipped up the entire 1.000 folder that was in \AppData\Nitroplus\STEINS;GATE\, but let me know if that doesn't work. If it doesn't, I'll zip and upload the 1.000 folder in \AppData\STEINS;GATE\ instead (and I checked, the files are NOT identical).
>I'm not even close to be able to read a VN
This is where you're going wrong. How do you consume an elephant? A bite at a time, naturally. I went through a grammar guide, and am currently going at Chapter 7 in ChäoS;HEAd NoAH. Naturally, I'm not reading it without reading aid. I'm using Chiitrans for vocabulary. This gives me the opportunity to not only learn through immersion, but also do it with something I enjoy. I picked it up right away. Did I have a hard time during the beginning? Was it exhausting? Yes. Of course it was. Do I still struggle on some sentences? Of course I do, but generally, I can understand a good bit of all of the sentences I read.
Generally this is a tried and true method within the SciADV community. Are any of the Japanese learners here perfect? Of course not. Is the method working? Yes definitely. The reason most people take 5~10 years is that they don't immerse themselves in the language enough. That's probably also where you're falling short. I made a write-up about my experiences learning the language over on my website, and another Japanese learner on the Discord also made a write-up, which you can find here.
Unsure what your region is specifically, but in the U.S., Steins;Gate never received a DVD only release. You'd have to get either the original Part 1 and Part 2 Blu-ray + DVD Combo Packs (Part 2 is difficult to find at a good price), or get the "Anime Classics" version, which is now out of print, but it's a Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack for the whole 24 episode series + the OVA. It should be this listing on Amazon, but you might have a hard time finding it new. I'd also recommend eBay since there might be cheaper listings.
Steins;Gate 0 similarly doesn't have a DVD only release. Seeing as it only came out a couple years ago, and there isn't a "Complete Series" release on the horizon just yet, your only options are the Part 1 and Part 2 releases, since those do include DVDs.
download this file: https://cdromance.com/psp/steinsgate-english-patched/
u gotta use this app called Zarchiver and unzip the file
then open the file using a psp emulator which u can get from the app store if need more help just ask:)
I had the same problem. For all games from MAGES (S;G, S;G 0, C;C, S;G ELITE, etc.) If I turn on the Fullscreen, the game might will get under scale or be running very fast.
The solution is, don't set to Fullscreen and use Windows Mode instead. For Resolution, selecting to 1080p is okay. And use this:
Your comment makes me a little unsure so just to clarify, Steam Link is an app that allows you to stream Steam games to iOS/Android. So you won't be able to use Steam Link if it doesn't work on your PC lol. But it probably will work. Make sure to use the patch I linked too (even if it does work without).
What you could do is use Google image searching feature!
This was the biggest resolution I could find (1280x720)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0pMb-CeGZUENUtLY1M0OHJMYXM/view?usp=sharing
I don't have a UEFI-based system, but for me it was installing the image on USB drive with the Universal USB Installer app and then booting the installer from pendrive :).
WAV is lossless format, though at the cost of compatibility, here take this website https://cloudconvert.com Can literally covert anything to anything make it mp3 for maximum compatibility, after all ringtones don’t need to be high quality audio.
Also Messenger is good but I really love Re-Awake, because it combine Gate of Steiner & Messenger, and removes the dreary ending of Messenger
You either buy it for PS4 or Ps Vita, or download a pc-patched version from here:
Regardless of the route you take I recommend buying a PS copy to support the developers.
Tyvm! Downloading now, and di-patch soon. Will play after i'm done with c;c. <3
EDIT: Bah, mega is limiting the download and will only release it in 6 hours. Is it the same package as this? https://nyaa.si/view/360359
Do you need to set your system to japanese, even with di-patch? Thanks again!
I'd consider buying the new release of the manga if I was you- it has a much improved translation from those old individual volumes (this version contains the entire manga in one collection). It's coming out in March 2022- you can pre-order it from Amazon (here is the link to Amazon UK, but it should be available from Amazon US or other versions of Amazon too). Alternatively, you can also buy the limited hardcover version from Barnes and Noble here- it's supposed to have already been released but there's been a bit of a delay.
It depends where you are. Here in the UK, you can still get it brand new at amazon (here). The other option is eBay- again I've had a look at the UK website and there are new copies available.
I'm not sure if a Spanish translation exists, but the novel was officially released in english. You can buy them off Amazon or something ig

Actually, I bought the mi band 5, so I looked into the mi band 4 type, but I couldn't find the exact same design there. I couldn't find an identical design for the mi band 4, but I did find a cool design that looks like a nixie tube, so I'll let you know.
First, I downloaded this app. Then I selected the game category and change the sorting variants to "by the number of installations". then I scrolled down a little. I think the app will explain how to actually apply this, but if you don't know, just ask me.
If you scroll down quite a bit, you can find even more different designs of nixie tubes, so you can choose the one you like.
enjoy!

As far as downloading goes, I can't help you there. I bought it off amazon. Buying it always is nice as it supports the creators, plus its legal. On top of that, the dvd is drm free so you can share it with any other friends that may be interested! If money is tight though, I understand and you could probably find an alternative online.
As far as playing/reading the VN goes, it's pretty strait forward. This is a pretty low quality example, but shows the general working of the VN. You get sentences/paragraphs displayed which you click to speed up/continue, and read it like a normal book except with music and subtle character animation. These two elements really build up the environment around you and envelopes you into the scene. Furthermore, the characters all speak their respective lines, although they are in Japanese.
You also have control of Okabe's phone throughout the story. Depending on the calls you answer and the texts you respond to, it can change the ending. It's not too hard to get the endings (with occasional exception of the true ending), and it's pretty easy to figure out when the critical moments are that will rather end or continue the story: for example when Okabe is about to time leap, you have the option to go through with it or cancel it and see what happens.
You can also save at any point in the story as well, which is handy just before a time leap, that way you have quick access to both options of continuing or ending the story.
The VN is about 30 hours worth of content , and it is really awesome. Much more character development and deeper explanations behind the mechanics and potential outcomes of time travel.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
I preordered on amazon back in August for 115 dollars but I just looked at the link and it’s on sale!

Yeah. Don't drop that tuturu.
Also, if you keep on missing it, there's an app for that
https://www.amazon.com/Chaos-Head-Limited-Japan-Xbox-360/dp/B001IDYN4W
Tho Chaos;Head NoAH is only on console and no fan translation as of yet. However there's NoAH SD patch that allows you to play NoAH on PC in Japanese but in lower resolution.
I've never been able to find an official source for the OG Steins;Gate Anime OST.
But, here's a listing for the CD of the Steins;Gate 0 Anime OST: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07F9Y8P97
Good news: Apparently, they were included in the STEINS;GATE Complete Blu-ray BOX released in 2016. The link above takes you to the Amazon page of the product.
However, it was only released in Japan, so you'll probably have to ship it.
I use this gif https://thumbs.gfycat.com/DimCoordinatedBeagle-size_restricted.gif and this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.awesome.giflivewallpaper
I'm using an android phone, it fits really well
Don't forget this widget! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=prox.clock.retro_nixie
Your very own divergence meter (actually it's a clock/calendar lol), not sure if it's only for Android.
Oddly enough l got this urge a couple of weeks ago too xD. I'm using okabes wallpaper as my lock screen and one of the pre installed Android animated backgrounds (bubbles) looks great with the nixies.
It's a bit late, but if you haven't found a belt already, a D-Ring belt is the type you'll probably be looking for. I used one for my Okabe cosplay about 4-5 years back and it worked perfectly. I found one on amazon that's the style you'd be wanting to use
https://www.amazon.com/Canvas-Double-D-Ring-Buckle-Metal/dp/B00EVB8AHY
https://www.amazon.com/Steins-Gate-Works-Imaginations-Huke/dp/4041103827
That book is fucking amazing
I also recommend getting the Gameless Amadeus edition from rice digital. (Since you already have a copy of S:G 0)
This has some soundtracks from both the game and anime i think. I'm sure you can find others if you look around on google. And if that doesn't work, there is youtube.
Well i did some research and that is the best you can get for that price.
If you can spend more 16 bucks tho, i would get this one, wich is original from good smile co. (best figure makers from japan):https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DCM17DC/ref=psdc_3226143011_t3_B00C3GEOME. theres only one left in amazon.
I had the one i linked you to, and its awesome, you have 3 faces to change and its a lots of acessories like arms etc. lost it when moving :((
Well I am not a music expert but I found this which the sheet credited to Takeshi Abo, so I guess this is the original one.
Of course if you want to get the sheet that is 100% guarantee to be the original one created by Takeshi Abo, you can buy the STEINS;GATE SOUNDTRACK(CD+CD-ROM) which contain the official piano sheet for Gate of Steiner.
Unfortunately I'm almost positive that's a bootleg, especially since that figure runs more than $100 usually. This one however on Amazon, is actually from the Kotobukiya Amazon store, which is the manufacturer. So buying from that link would pretty much be guaranteed a genuine figure. Unfortunately since it's a pretty old figure, she's really hard to find new, so sites like AmiAmi wouldn't carry her.
Does 360 support youtube? You can watch it all on FUNimation's official youtube channel. They also have the first 4 episodes of the dub on youtube, if you prefer that.
That said, it's not HD, and the recommended subs are not the official ones. WhyNotSubs are usually what this sub recommends, which you'd have to find a way to acquire yourself (I do not believe this sub can publicly condone piracy). That said, if you do download it, I'd recommend purchasing the anime as well. $30 on amazon for 12 hours of anime is not a bad deal by any means, especially for a top anime like Steins;Gate.
You could just buy the dvds, and play those from your xbox, if you'd prefer that.
I purchased it back at the end of December on Pre-order from J-List when I saw that Kotobukiya was having a reprint of this line.

I know Amazon does "have" it:
http://www.amazon.com/Kotobukiya-Steins-Gate-Kurisu-Ani-Statue/dp/B003MZ0N84
But you have to be careful since there are a lot of cheap bootlegs of the figure being sold as the legitimate one there. I wouldn't recommend it unless the shop you're buying from was proven to sell the legitimate copy.
I have not read volume 2 or 3 yet, but I'd assume that chapter 15 would be in this volume: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1927925711?keywords=steins%3Bgate%20manga&qid=1457725947&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2
I highly recommend the Special Quality Banpresto steins gate's figures. I have one (of Luka) and I looove it! (It was $26)
And I know you said no sound track, but this is a remix CD I absolutely love. SCIENCE ADVENTURE DANCE REMIX [CHAOS:HEAD][STEINS:GATE]
Or as someone posted a link for, the pins that are on otakumode.
I just bought this one, I'm 6'4" with a 50in chest and it is basically ankle length. Decent material, more like a canvas almost. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002B5XK54?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
So far the longest I've been able to find. I'm doing a big group Stein's cosplay at Ohayocon in January.
I have the limited edition version of that blu-ray, which plays in the UK. Can't speak for the regular edition though.
