Can't remember anything specifically, but in general where stories have a decent plot intro and an interesting transformation scene, but then quickly descends into rape. I understand, 'Your Kink Is Not My Kink' and all, but at least tag it as such. Dubcon for dubious consent, noncon for rape. This is where deviantart could really stand to learn from archiveofourown or dreamwidth.
Additionally stories where the author has managed to be bland. It kinda goes like this: "oh no I am changing into something! Oh no, now I have a tail, and now a snout, maybe some angel wings, and surprisingly only a slightly dismayed opinion about what's going on around me???" Transformation is naturally about the intensity of the experience (and sometimes about dehumanization, which is of course also intense), so if a writer/artist managed to make that boring, then they dun goofed.
edit: sorry I didn't have any links for anything bad on hand, but here's a link for something GOOD that I actually really enjoy: A Priest and his Wife. It's a fanfiction sure, but really all you need to know is that the setting is Victorian Gothic horror, and that injecting yourself with monster blood is not always a good idea.
One of my favorite stories is called A Leopard Tail, unfortunately the site it was hosted on is dead(geocities), luckily the Internet archive has a copy link I also have a more readable backup(white text on black background, not good).
As for the story itself is just well written, the characters acts somewhat realistic to what's happening, and not just "oh dear I appear to have been turned into X I better act like it's completely normal". The story is not perfect though, there are a few filler chapters and the ending feels like it's leading up to a sequel(or maybe it's just not finished), which doesn't exist as far as I know.
Cis Female. I don't know anyone else IRL with this fetish, but I know that there are actually a lot of TF fans who are ladies. The issue is the fact that this is Reddit, and girls mostly lurk so that's why it seems so skewed sometimes.
Try going to AO3 and checking out the transformation tag there (https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Transformation/works). A great majority of the authors are ladies, and update actively with good stuff. I personally like AO3 because the quality is pretty nice, things are tagged for what to expect, and there's often a tongue-in-cheek tone between everybody.
So essentially, there are a good amount of ladies into TF, but just not on sites like Reddit.

The closest thing I've got to that is this one-panel comic from Cervelet, joking about the Mayans predicting "the end of the human race" back in 2012. This comic also showcases one of the plot points the artist follows that I love: conservation of mass. In Cervelet's "Addictive Science" series, when one person is transformed into a fennec fox or a similarly small & adorable creature, someone else gets the extra mass the victim lost and usually becomes a taur of some sort. (The same applies the other way around.)
I mean, Dreadnought has a tgtf scene right at the start, but it's really more about dealing with being transgender than on transforming.
It does have the benefit of being really really good, though.
The Tortoiseshell Mirror by Tang. Unfortunately, the author took it down at some point and made it a paid story on Amazon, but still worth a read.
Not much really at this point. The first version of the site was just the interactives ( https://web.archive.org/web/20010515223941/http://changes.hobbiton.org/ ) via a general interactive story code and free hosting that was pretty limited. When the free hosting site went under and moved to a community friendly host was when the current site layout was born. The first version of the interactive code was made by a good friend (kurst) and the newest iteration done by macroboy, who is also working on a new version of the main site. The main site really hasn't had much change to it in a while since the underlying code (PostNuke) was discontinued by the people that made it and I had made many customizations to it to fit my needs.
Here is a start (its a preview only – not data is colelcted) I am aware many things still need adding, this is just a foundation, so please let me know anything and everything that should be added (or possibly subtracted). I'll be working away (when I have free time) to add to this as well.
I would contend that Dreadnought by April Daniels is a TG novel. It's not erotica, but it's definitely an mtf tg story.
Might be why the images are forced to be big like that. I'd definitely recommend an alternative app or using the official one, as it isn't the greatest in terms of image browsing.
I had success recently installing MaldiVes on mobile and using for RPG Maker MV and MZ games:

'Pig Tales' by a french author Marie Darrieussecq
https://www.amazon.com/Pig-Tales-Transformation-International-Fiction/dp/1565843614
I kinda didn't like it as it featured some unpleasant stuff like engorging, and some scat elements. also I remember it featured a male werewolf, who has sex with the protagonist(who finds herself becoming a werepig).
Plus there's some story about a were-panther woman in the Manuel Puig's <Kiss of the Spider-woman>, a story within the story.

Any honest feedback on the short erotic story would be appreciated in the comments. If it's well written and interesting we can hire more stories to share. If there are suggestions to improve please let us know. Thank you.
Source and full comic/story:
A less obvious one than the usual: Rimworld with the Pawnmorpher mod installed.
Rimworld is a science fiction colony-building game with some similarities to Dwarf Fortress, but much better interface. You can buy it direct from the publishers and then enter the key into Steam to get Steam Workshop support for mods, that way Steam doesn't take a chunk of the game's price away from the actual creators of the game.
You can encrypt the folder with your drawings with software like cryptomator. If people find the folder, they will see there are encrypted files but can't see what they are. Just don't forget the password or they're gone forever.
I think she's aware of the criticisms. She's got a patreon page and listed as one of her milestones is a dedicated improvement / practice day. She did an audio interview on a TF podcast a while ago about improvement (or lack thereof) and ultimately it came down to the fact that this is her main source of income, so anytime she spends not doing commission work is time she could be earning money.
I enjoy her sequences, and clearly enough people do or else she wouldn't still be doing it 7 years later, so I do hope that the extra income Patreon provides will be well invested.
Filthy Mind now goes by Mindi Flyth and sells their works on Amazon. I believe "Part of Her" was republished as "Changed into Her Pussy" and is available here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HJU8FMY/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i3
I liked:
2. The Sacred Book of the Werewolf
both technically have a good deal of TF, but if that is all you are reading them for they will disappoint greatly as the process of such is not the focus of either book at all. Instead it is the implications of transformation itself and its means (in their respective fictional universes) with respects to the larger philosophies embedded in them that are the focus.
I just commissioned Lyka Bloom to write a sequel to Call of the Faeries. Call of the Faeries 2: Beyond the Door was published this week, and now Lyka is offering both those stories in a set with other mythical tf's Call of the Mermaids and Nymphet on Amazon or Smashwords.
Here's the rundown:
Call of the Faeries - f/f tf
Call of the Faeries 2 - m/f tf and tftg
Island of the Mermaids m/f tf and tftg
Nymphet - m/f tftg
I'm surprised no one has mentioned The Magicians by Lev Grossman. The transformations are not major points, but there are some really fantastic scenes throughout the whole trilogy--plus his writing and characters are just fucking awesome.
I recently wrote a human to ape ebook:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YQ90KXI/
Georgie Simmons is the first human being to be sent to explore another planet. But when she lands, she finds she's stranded, and something is causing her to change. Can Georgie learn the truth before she loses what's left of her humanity, or will she lose her mind and "Go Bananas?"

Best one I ever read involving TF. A woman slowly becomes a pig and is treated accordingly. She dates a werewolf near the end of the book. Good descriptions of her changes, and the book is pretty funny, too. Kind of disappointed it didn't go some places it looked like it was going, but still. Was not disappointed.
A couple books I recommend by same author
The Wolf's Hour http://www.amazon.com/The-Wolfs-Hour-Robert-McCammon/dp/1491583746
