Kirby's Dream Collection is only $8! Kirby's Epic Yarn is also only $8! Hope you like Kirby! (>'0')>
I recently picked up a 2-pack of generic 3rd party ones from Amazon (SIBONO was the brand, but they all look the same) to replace others that have gone bad. We've tried them once and they worked fine - I may be a little worried about how long they will last, but for the price I think it's worth the risk.

Show Off Your New Controller
For Kids
For the Missus: Depending on what she's into, here are some ideas:
Graphically Impressive: This category is probably subjective, but I am trying to avoid games that just look nice without impressive graphics, i.e. not just a list of aesthetically pleasing games.
Fun Multiplayer: I am adding this category of things to play with your family:

If your Wii has internet (some of the new ones don't) then there are some really great games on the Wii Shop Channel:

We have had the most fun with mario kart and the last lego star wars game that came out with all of the star wars games combined (i have kids)
Seems like some sort of third-party wii classic or pro controller.
Edit: It’s a Wii U Classic Controller made by Performanced Designed Products (PDP), officially licensed by Nintendo. You can buy it on Amazon.
Retro City Rampage, Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, and supposedly Mario Party 9 sometime in the future. In Europe, the other Operation Rainfall games will come out sometime: The Last Story and Pandora's Tower
I just posted this in another thread, but I'll post it here again.
It's not hard to repair a Wii. I just had to replace the DVD drive on a Wii last week. Same situation as you. Wii was 4-5 years old, largely unused. The drive worked fine but was noisy as all heck (very bothersome), so I decided to replace it.
If you can handle a screw driver and are gentle with things, you should have no problem replacing the drive.
You'll need a few tools:
I got a replacement DVD drive for my Wii from this guy on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300490891251 (It was $35. Used, but it works great. No relationship with this seller. I just thought it was a good deal.)
Beware of sellers selling only the DVD drive WITHOUT the DVD controller board.
I then followed this guide on iFixit: http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nintendo-Wii-DVD-Drive-Replacement/5164/1
My only warning with this guide is when you've removed the old drive and hooked up the new drive and you're putting the screws back in (following the guide in reverse order), don't get ahead of the guide and start putting the screws in whatever order you feel like. There are one or two screws that if put back in too early will prevent you from re-attaching the faceplate or other parts.
Other than that, it's a piece of cake. Took me about 45 minutes, start to finish. And should only cost you $40. (Far cheaper and faster than sending it to Nintendo for repair. Or buying a new one.)
Post back here if you have any questions.
Yeah, you’re gonna need component cables is my guess. Interlaced signals (480i) usually don’t play too well with LCD TV’s like that. Here’s a good one.
I would strongly recommend this one from Mayflash it’s cheaper, smaller, and the only one that actually worked for me.
There are lots of party games for the Wii that are similar in execution to Wii Sports. By similar I mean that they have multiple mini games that you can play using motion controls. Some of the games like this include:
Also, here is a list of party games. I personally loved Wii Sports Resort and thought the Rabbids games were pretty fun.
P.S. Most of the best games for the Wii aren't party games, so if you want recommendations for those we would all be glad to abide.
I actually found the wheel to be disconcerting. Nunchuck is the way to go.
Also, pick up Mario Strikers. Great multiplayer and nunchuck necessary.
All time best scoring Wii games - on metacritic (aggregates game critic scores)
I wish they had some genre selection ontology overlay though. Say I don't like Zelda, give me a way to grey out similar games. Or sort by user score, critics often test for just a day or so, they might not encounter bugs or replayability fun.
Their top-30:
Bolded my preferences, which are probably drab average for the Wii: non-(fps-)gamer, puzzle game or play with the family style.
Noteable mention that is not on metacritic's first page, but is quite well executed: Just Dance. Not my type of game, but if you like dancing or a bit of silly exercise it's pretty well made.
Here; It doesn't upscale tho
Besides what has already been recommended, all 3 Wii Kirby games are fun multiplayer as well:
Kirby's Epic Yarn is easy but cute and still a great game,
Kirby's Return to Dreamland is an absolute fun to play multiplayer or alone,
Kirby's Dream Collection is a collection of 6 previous generation games, which happens to be $8 at BestBuy right now, if you have luck in-store.
I'd also recommend the following for mindless 2nd player action, which aren't entirely unfun, just less present than the first player:
Super Mario Galaxy,
Super Mario Galaxy 2,
Sin & Punishment: Star Successor.
And lastly, Dokapon Kingdom for an introduction to RPG elements on a Mario Party-like board, with guaranteed resentment to be had. The game labels itself as the friendship-destroying game. Tons of fun!
For 4.2 the ReadMii is probably appropriate: https://docs.google.com/View?docid=dfwvk5sg_0gksqfcdj&hgd=1
Certainly helped me. Might be getting a bit old, could be wise to check for updated versions of the software it installs.
Go here and follow every step, and at the end of each page, it advances your hack. First, it makes you install bootmii, then more advanced stuff like installing cIOS for more advanced homebrew. Furthermore, it'll show you how to install USB loaders (which is mainly what you're looking for if you're using a hard drive to run the game).
If you do want to replace the fan inside, you can follow this guide which will also allow you to purchase a fan. Of course you could probably find one cheaper someplace else.
http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nintendo+Wii+Fan+Replacement/3459
Or you could also go with something like this.
http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Wii-Mini-Power-Cooling/dp/B000PS72BM
We do have a list that the community already made, and anyone is free to edit it. It is even stickied on the side bar. Your idea is better though; we do not have descriptions at all, just genres. You could use this as a start. Our current list is pretty stacked with games. If your list does get more comments/ratings, dress it up and I will sticky it
For Wii you're looking at Rune Factory (Frontier and Tides of Destiny) or Animal Crossing City Folk basically.
If you're open to playing games on your computer then you've got Stardew Valley (currently greenlighted on Steam) and Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale.

I recently picked up this "Wii Z HDMI" to connect my launch-model Wii with a non-component HDMI TV that can't accept 240p signals, and it's working out really well so far.
Hey there, mod over on r/WiiHacks.
There are a lot of solutions to video on the Wii, and u/WiiExpertise posted a whole informational thingy about it a while back here.
Avoid Wii2HDMI at all costs. It may look cheap and appealing at first, but it's plagued with audio and video issues alike. The build quality is terrible, and the audio from the HDMI is a very common thing to fail.
I recommend you get a component to HDMI converter on Amazon. It's the best possible solution, right behind WiiDual, a perfect digital video solution for the Wii.
This is a high quality option. It may be a little pricey, relatively speaking, but it will provide you with very good video and audio quality alike.

Unless you are nowhere close to a BestBuy I could understand.
I have Goldeneye 007 and as it was the first PFS i played on the wii i had a hard time playing with the wiimote/nunchuck even though i tweaked the controller preferences many times, i just couldn't find the settings i was comfortable playing with. Then i googled it and found out a really good scheme that some guy made here. From what i have seen conduit has a great deal of settings you can change so maybe you can try to emulate the options in the link.
I vote Wii Party. We were hugely disappointed with MP8. User scores on Metacritic have the two at 7.9 and 6.6, so MP8 loses out there, too.
If you're feeling old school, MP2 is available for the VC. Some people say it's the best version ever.
<strong>Check out the Wii party games on Metacritic.com, sorted by user scores.</strong>
How about fixing the one you already have? I just posted this in another thread, but I'll post it here again.

Ideal filesystem is FAT32. NTFS will work for Wii disc rips but you can't use it for Gamecube rips or NAND emulation via NEEK.
WBFS should be avoided at all costs. If you see it mentioned anywhere online just forget you even saw it.
You can use Wii Backup Manager to put games on a FAT32 or NTFS formatted drive without affecting any existing data. It will convert games and put them in the paths expected by the main USB loader.
When you do your modding - ignore any and all guides you find online (as they're invariably out of date) and use ModMii. It will download everything you need to get up and running. Super easy.
Also to save yourself time in the future format your external drive as FAT32. There's lots of reasons that I shan't bore you with - just trust me it's the best format. Your games can be stored on it as WBFS files. Use Wii Backup Manager to convert/copy your games over with it.
TL;DR: Mod using ModMii, make sure drive is FAT32, Wii Backup Manager is best way to copy games about.
That's what I did. They sell cases on Amazon to convert them to external hard drives. Here is an example: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B076HNWDMX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_SHG88VFFWQ3V9SYZZS0E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Works like a charm.
My Samsung has a spot for av connections but I have a use a special cable that came with the tv that combines all three into 1 input. Do you have anything like that? Mine works perfect.
This is the wire I use.
Hey sorry it took so long here's a clear shell on Amazon for you. I think it's old new stock. It's not the one I remember but it's at least clear. There was one ages ago that had rgb legs and changed from blue to green to red depending on the temperature of the console. But I couldn't find it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TQSB9T6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_TT0PWT22J10THQ7C7CK6
Like it streches out to the whole 16:9 but you can fix it if you change the aspect ratio on ur tv and wii, u have to do both, heres the link: https://www.amazon.com/Converter-Adapter-hdmi1080p-Connector-Output/dp/B078MGZ56R/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2LBNLK5BN9VFH&dchild=1&keywords=wii2hdmi&qid=1619654699&sprefix=Wii2%2Caps%2C150&sr=8-6
You can't. Your best bet is to get a component video cable. They're not expensive and you'll get a better picture.
I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/Fosmon-Component-Cable-Definition-Nintendo/dp/B00CA8636K and it worked great. I use an HDMI adapter these days. Still have the cable, just in case.
13.99 on Amazon Insten Dual Remote Charging Dock Charger Station with 2 Rechargeable 2800mAh Batteries & LED Light Indicator Docking Compatible With NINTENDO Wii / Wii U Game Controller, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004IK24MU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DSQMNSCG66PQ8Q8WQZJ5
LOL, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, they all stopped supporting running on the Wii YEARS ago!
Literally go pick up an Amazon FireTV Stick Lite for $22 and it will do all that with zero problems -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YNLBS7R/ref=pav_title
Use the Wii to play Wii and GameCube games. That is what the passage of times has left it to do, and it does that best.
I agree with what Traitors said regarding the RCA quality. However if you don't have a component cable I would suggest taking a look at the Hyperkin HD Cable for Wii, I had a Wii without component and picked this up at the beginning of last year, been loving it and it looks great even on my 40" TV.
This is the video that sold me on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AY3Qzw6Gnc&fbclid=IwAR2dBRIdIw6xJ4roVvinSFmucYfa1GTRNgJDTYdclF_oSKFnf0CsnRhFXy8
At about 3:57 they do a short video comparison of 4 different options.
They last about a week playing 2-3 hours a day. My kids play a lot. My batteries are 2000mah. Got them from Amazon. They do take several hours to charge but since I have 8 of them I have a pretty good rotation with two remotes. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CWNMV4G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_6Wl7FbQ05JPDM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I purchased this one off Amazon and it works mint on a 75in tv. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07CGLPL6N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Very nice, I just started collecting some of those PDP Wii controllers, to use for Smash on my Wii as well as Nintendont. I definitely like variety.
If you're open to organizing tips, I recently got a stack of these velcro cable straps to tuck in my wires: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B4YJMDT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is a Wii U controller that also supports Wii (I found my exact one on amazon if you want to see the link: https://www.amazon.com/PDP-Wired-Fight-Pad-nintendo-u/dp/B00LSBNSAO?th=1) if you don't trust the link, then just search up on amazon:
PDP Wired Fight Dad for WiiU - Yoshi
For a slightly more detailed answer...
What you have there on your TV is a Component input set of connectors. Component video works by splitting the video signal on 3 separate wires which correspond to Red, Green and Blue. The standard Wii video cable connects to Composite input. Composite video outputs the video signal on a single Yellow wire.
Now, the Wii is capable of outputting Component signal through a compatible cable (not sure where you're located, but here's a link on Amazon for it). This would actually be the best video output the WIi is capable of and I totally recommend this, it's what I use too. Using this should be straightforward on your TV, connect everything to its corresponding color (Audio is on top, Video is on bottom). Be sure to select 480p HDTV video signal in the Wii's settings.
Depending on the capabilities of your TV, you could get by with the standard Composite Wii cable (Yellow, White and Red) by connecting the Yellow connector to the Green input of your TV, but whether this works or not depends on the TV (my big ass Philips Android TV, for example, accepts only Component input on these connectors, it does not allow Composite signal and would only display a monochrome fuzzy image when I try this).
Yes something like this will work PORTHOLIC Wii to HDMI Converter 1080P with 5ft High Speed HDMI Cable Wii2 HDMI Adapter Output Video&Audio with 3.5mm Jack Audio, Support All Wii Display 720P, NTSC, Compatible with Full HD Devic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07539JW4W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_z3vzFbGJNHB09
Did you know that NEC SuperGfx games (all five of them) were the equivalent (adjusted for inflation) of $200 each back in the early 1990s? The best Wii games were $10 cheaper than the best 360 and PS3 games in spite of being more fun. $30 was a bargain in 2007 for MySims.
Indeed, it's $38.25 new right now at Amazon. Adjusted for inflation, that's $29.99.
Whoa! That's prolly not a coincidence!
You'll need this screwdriver: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018688GS/
And this guide: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Nintendo-Wii-DVD-Drive-Replacement/5164/1
Shouldn't be hard to take apart, remove the discs, and put back together. Also, gently teach your brother about using perception to tell when something is wrong and how not to make things worse.
You'd be better off using the Dolphin Emulator, and I highly recommend using it (If your laptop can run it). You'll get a better-looking game and better experience overall.
If you're wanting to use the Wii directly instead of emulation on your laptop, you can't.
Although, you can buy this: http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Composite-CVBS-Converter-Input/dp/B00I482KZI then a monitor with HDMI if you really wanted to use a monitor.
If you're wanting some great quality for a good price, go with this one. It's fantastic, and works for every single console that's out. Just the other day, I recorded some NES footage. Look fantastic.
What works for me is using this hdmi adapter. It’s not the best option persay, but getting 480p is actually the best you can get from the Wii, so again this hdmi Wii adapter works for me.
Wii Hdmi Converter Adapter,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0895N78MV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I use a cheap USB 2.0 one with a hdmi splitter and it has better latency than an elgato
Get an HDMI port converter. Amazon has them under $15. I have two of them.
I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0753CZ8MC and it does the job quite well, actually.
You want this: https://www.amazon.com/MAYFLASH-Converter-Compatible-Nintendo-Monitor-Supports/dp/B07XG6X4TC
I've tried others, none are as consistently good or reliable as the MayFlash unless you want to splurge on the Component cables and a RetroTINK 2x Pro.
They're starting at $10 on eBay.
It’s no problem! I was able to find the bundle I bought last year, but Amazon says it’s currently unavailable.
I did however find this one, and it seems like it has really good reviews! It also comes with that lil plastic piece that holds the sensor bar so you can put it on top of your TV! Doing that stopped my cats from messing with it.
https://www.amazon.com/KIMILAR-Replacement-Infrared-Compatible-Nintendo/dp/B01I14IASK
I believe they are. Look identical to what one can find in Amazon Japan (link below)
If you go the Wii2HDMI route, the MayFlash version seems like the best option. Of the 4 I've tried it was the only good one and it's lasted a year so far without issue.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/MAYFLASH-Converter-Compatible-Nintendo-Monitor-Supports/dp/B07XG6X4TC
It doesn't upscale like the listing may suggest, it's a straight conversion of the Component signal to HDMI and works perfectly fine.
Okay ty.
Sorry to bother you again Just to make sure, is this an SD otg? And then i have to buy an USB stick and nothing more right?
This is the one I use. It’s usb 2.0 but it has better latency than an elgato. You will need an hdmi splitter and a component to hdmi adapter if you don’t already have one
Use a component to hdmi adapter, or alternatively, on of these with an HDMI splitter
If you can find some game cube controllers there are a good addition too. MAKE SURE they are the original plug in port thingy. You want a circle plug in, not the usb plug in. (But there is a usb port in the back of the wii does this work for GC controllers y’all?)
Most TVs don’t have AV cables anymore. But- this HDMI adapter for the Wii works well, then you just need a normal hdmi chord. Great if you find a wii with no AV cables. You’ll want to make sure it comes with the power chord at least. The wii sensor bar is kinda necessary but also kinda not. When I’m too lazy to move that part in the other room I play it I just light some candles lol.
If you get any issues doing this make sure the flame is visible to the remote and calibrate the distance in the system settings.
Enjoy :)))
I’ve heard there are several ways of getting a good signal, and I’d really have to test them myself to know for sure. Some say using this M-Classic adapter with the Wii2hdmi can get you a better picture than just component or S video
Either McBazel or MayFlash Wii2HDMI. The "generic" Wii2HDMI are garbage and will result in waves across your screen at the least and will usually fail after a month or 2.
https://www.amazon.com/MAYFLASH-Converter-Compatible-Nintendo-Monitor-Supports/dp/B07XG6X4TC
I bought the Electron Shepherd Wii2HDMI which is excellent quality, but the saturation is ludicrously high making it unusable. Very disappointing since their Analog2HDMI is the best. The MayFlash one is the one I've had the best luck with and it's lasted me a while. The good ones are 480p as it's a direct conversion of the Component output from the Wii.
Looks like it though I would never recommend a flash drive. Every flash drive I have ever used have been name brand, high quality drives, and have crapped out on me after extended use. I highly recommend getting an external drive like this WD My Passport drive. I've been using this one for 3 years now and it is perfect
I use the EASYCEL adapter. Not the cheapest, but it works really well. Pair that with a good set of component cables and you'll be good to go.
https://www.amazon.com/Component-Converter-Function-EASYCEL-Aluminum/dp/B08DY63D2H
I have one myself. Got it about 5 years ago used on Amazon. Fairly cheap and it has held up great. Heck here's one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Wii-Classic-Controller-Black-Nintendo-Renewed/dp/B07P1Z1GHR
Another comment said to use a 220V - 110V converter? I dont know if thats the equivalent to a transformer,
However I did look at what a transformer was, looks like a box with an output outlet
Here are a few that I liked, it fits my budget. Though I’d like a second opinion
Do you think maybe these could work?
Oh i thought it was one of the dumb plastic shells for like Wii Sports that every company was making.

Looks like it was packaged with Bass Pro Shops: The Strike game
Then you need a Component to VGA adapter like this (you will need to connect the audio to some speakers if you buy this adapter.)
Component cables and a component to HDMI adapter.
EASYCEL adapter is what I use and strongly recommend:
https://www.amazon.com/Component-Converter-Function-Included-Aluminum/dp/B09F3SMHP8
This one comes with cables but you'll still need to get the Wii component cables separately.
I found this one as well. You think there are differences between them in terms of compatibility?
100% the cables, red and white are both audio and yellow is video. Your best bet is to get one of those wii2hdmi adapters for 10 bucks
buy an Ethernet adapter such as this one and use a wired connection, some newer WiFi networks don't work with the Wii anymore
I knew it!! Its USB and Bluetooth, which is perfect for the price. I'm probably getting a 15€ original controller now, but I'll buy the adapter later down the line. Thanks
How do you know that Wii uses the ASIX chipset? Because I couldn't find any information about it
I just bought this and plugged it into my tv's USB port
I have used this stuff hundreds of times to fix scratches and marks on consoles, plastics on arcade machines, and pinball plastic pieces (like the ball ramps and bumper plastics). I can’t recommend it enough. Follow the instructions and you’ll be amazed. TTXTech Component cables.

US link https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Ethernet-Adapter-Nintendo-Chromebook/dp/B00MYT481C
They will typically say compatible with Wii OR with Wii U/Switch. They do not interchange.
i’ve been having the same issue 🥲 gave up & ordered the adapter
USB 10/100Mbps Ethernet Network Adapter for Nintendo Wii/Wii U/Switch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KZVRGSX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5A4AW64D575STHN26S5F
Is this the same item? I can't tell the difference on this one, but this one is in stock.
Your TV is clearly unable to handle 480p over HDMI since the Hyperkin cable didn't work. So what you should do is get Wii component cables and the EASYCEL component to HDMI adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/Component-Converter-Function-EASYCEL-Aluminum/dp/B08DY63D2H
This scales the output so it works on displays that don't support 480p over HDMI.
I bought my Wii in late 2018 and I use this: https://www.amazon.com/PORTHOLIC-Converter-Compatible-Nintendo-Monitor-Supports/dp/B08K7CFF2N/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?crid=RYU8PEVV7ZJ5&keywords=wii%2Bto%2Bhdmi%2Bportholic&qid=1649611671&sprefix=wii%2Bto%2Bhdmi%2Bport%2Caps%2C122&sr=8.... I bought this Portholic Wii to HDMI a few months after I bought the Wii and have used it with many HD televisions and it has not let me down yet. I have also successfully used it with my Wii U.
The Mayflash HDMI adapter is the way to go. Otherwise the Electron Shepherd Analog2HDMI chip is excellent, but requires a bit of soldering.
My Wii2HDMI had the wave pattern and completely died after a month. The Mayflash adapter is as crisp as component was on my old TV.
So what do yoi miss if you use wii2hdmi? If I have to buy an alternatieve item it will cost met at least 50 euro's
https://www.amazon.nl/Samengestelde-S-Video-Converter-Upscaler-AV-Adapter/dp/B07FVK8HWV
Final answer is component to HDMI is better. It's like taking a gamble with Wii2HDMI being a 50-50 gamble and component to HDMI having far better odds, like 90-10.
A Wii to HDMI adapter is going to be your easiest option. I bought one because my Hisense TV has 4 HDMI ports but only one set of RCA/Composite ports. It's a life changer.
The official GCN controller to Wii u/switch is still being sold today and should be purchased over mayflash. Less latency and time for issues using the official one. Plenty of threads talking about issues with mayflash adapter especially when having more than one controller plugged in. The only reason to buy mayflash GCN controller adapter is if you can't get an official one. The Wii u/switch adapter is the same exact thing, just don't try to use the Wii adapter on a Wii u/switch. Here's a Wii u adapter, Super Smash Bros. GameCube Adapter for Wii U https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L3LQ1FI/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_MXXNZPBZ0MRJ80QD3QWE
I use raphnets adapters to GCN to use original SNES controllers on my Wii (has GCN ports), Wii u, switch, and PC while utilizing the official adapter. Raphnet adapters have the lowest latency. Raphnet shows on some of his compatibility tables that you can use his adapters with the official Wii u/switch to GCN adaptersto the pc, but not so well with mayflash.
The Adapter works with Nintendont. You get vibration and everything. The adapter I have has 2 usb plug and the black one you want to plug into the back of the Wii U cuz that’s the only ports the vwii will see and the grey one Is just to power the vibration. I used a short usb extension to plug it into one of the front USB port since I use a flash drive for my games. Can bypass this if games are on a sd card. Here is the adapter. Has 4 ports. Not near mine but forget if you have to turn it on in setting or not. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RSXRLUE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Q1ZZ17603KJJ7AR6VZ9J?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You could also get a Wii2HDMI adapter. I used to use one and it looked pretty good, but i've heard that it's a lottery on choosing a quality one (i got lucky). They don't sell the one i got (it was many years ago), but this Portholic seems popular. Also this Hyperkin cable gets recommended a lot as well.
That’s a composite hook up so less picture quality I commend using a component to hdmi converter and use the regular hdmi hook up on your tv. Here’s a link to Amazon Amazon Easycell Component HDMI
I've been really happy with this one. I've heard bad things about the one you selected. https://www.amazon.com/MAYFLASH-Converter-Compatible-Nintendo-Monitor-Supports/dp/B07XG6X4TC/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3C2AZCP2G72FI&keywords=mayflash+wii+hdmi&qid=1646997845&sprefix=mayflash+wi%2Caps%2C273&sr=8-3
I didn't even know component was a thing for the Wii. I resurrected mine recently and used the composite and a HDMI converter.
So, what I need is the component cable for the console and the converter you linked?
The picture is noticeably better?
Thanks
