Per PayPal fee structure, sending and receiving money is free when the money comes from PayPal balance or bank account.
I prefer Skrill, with a fee rate of 1.9%, capped at 20 euros per transaction.
Skrill is a real company that provides payment processing services much like PayPal, but it is lesser known. Odds are they are pushing to expand into the game livestreaming market. They do boast having lower fees compared to Paypal.
I don't use the service and it's your prerogative if you wish to start. If a lot of your potential donors and viewers whom you trust want to donate with this method, you might consider it. Otherwise PayPal is the de facto standard.

I use an prepaid digital Credit card. The only downside is deposited fee.
I use Skrill
Regarding ODU, they had a lot of problems with shipping from Australia and thus moved to a US shipping company. So maybe(don't know) PayPal was making the transaction harder to process and skip it.

Third time Ive posted this but here it goes for those in need. Im an adult but dont own credit cards, my credit union will not allow overseas purchases on my debit card, this is what I do:
If you have a us debit card you can check out on a PC with a skrill account (for whatever reason wont work via the app) they charge 2.9% to upload funds but super easy to set up and works great. https://www.skrill.com/en-us/ You can even add product via the app for the app price and checkout on the PC
Many US debit cards block overseas purchases (like mine from my credit union) thus skrill is a work around. Should work fine on a pre-paid as well, they do require verification through a randon debit of 1-3$ first but credit your account the verification charge
When I was looking for a prepaid card a few years ago, Skrill was looking pretty good and it has worked perfectly for me since with the annual fee (€10,-) as the main drawback. However I just Googled again and the Net+ Prepaid card seems to be pretty attractive as well, and claims to have no annual fee at all.
Both are MasterCard, and can be charged using iDeal for no additional fee.
Edit: It seems the Net+ one does charge a fee if you want a physical card* but a "virtual card" (just for online shopping I'm assuming) is free.
* €10,- shipping/handling to send it to you, not sure how often but presumably only once every few years at most, when it expires.
fellow dutchman here,
if you are interested in acquiring a creditcard but you dont use it often I could recommend getting a Skrill (previously known as Moneybookers) mastercard. I recently got one myself and use it purely for buying stuff online. It's a prepaid card that costs €10 per year to maintain and allows you to add money to it using iDEAL. if you have any further questions about it feel free to send me a PM or check their website: https://www.skrill.com/en/home/
I'd say you should just use skrill; from what I've read on their site buyers can't chargeback on you as a personal user
Nice improvement! I'm going to poke around some more. Have you looked into integration with Skrill, perhaps, to allow for CC transactions?
https://www.skrill.com/en-us/about-us/
Obligatory "I have no vested interest or affiliation with Skrill" statement. I've just used them in the past to convert visa backed gift cards into crypto.
lol 1.5% is nothing for a sketchy payment method like skrill. you'll pay 15-30% for paypal.

Sorry, I am not sure what it is.
I just recently made the account. All I remember is that the amount was easily transferred back and I got what I was expecting.
Edit: Just did a quick search. It is EUR5.5 here
If you've done your research it's cool. Just don't forget that whenever you want your money from a third party gateway, a transfer fee and %fee applies as well.
Anywhoo, Skrill works in all countries except the following: https://www.skrill.com/en/footer/terms-conditions/non-serviced-countries/
So check whichever serves you better. But yeah, its totally fine to use them here (:
Yeah, true.
You can also take a look at https://www.skrill.com/en/merchants/
Their website is a bit confusing, but there is a form to request more information about the hosted payment gateway if your business is legitimate.

I think many people have tried to do the same and failed (USD ) but I think some succeeded with euro through skrill with certain bank ( you can search about this subject on google) Another option you can sell your dollars to someone on PayPal ( send money to his PayPal account) I think the rate now is +12 e.g. Good luck 😊
Skrill is an Ebay approved form of payment. It's very similar to Paypal with far fewer fees. Since Ebay and Paypal are splitting up, I'm sure Skrill and other methods will become far more popular, and Paypal is going to have to learn how to play with the competition.
I think because Paypal's chargebacks are expensive for the vendor/merchant they REALLY want to verify the purchase.
I remember even a failed donation cost a streamer a ton of money on Twitch.
I think they're legit. They show up on Cheapshark, their payment processing company, Skrill, seems legit... just if you don't want to jump through those hoops you need to use a non-Paypal method.
I went ahead and used my credit card just now, and got my code within a minute. My card expires soon so I am less worried about it though.
Maybe Skrill? https://www.skrill.com/en/ I've never used it myself.
I think mobile phone - based bank transfers will become more common in the future. That's how a lot of business is conducted in Africa right now.

Hi there, my apologies for the late reply.
You will need to withdraw the funds. The funds are on Reserve for 3 days (you can't withdraw this yet) then after 3 days, it will go to Available. You may withdraw Available funds anytime and once you do, they will go to your connected disbursement account. Please also ensure your Skrill account is already verified. If it's not, the funds will bounce back to us and our system will keep retrying to send it to your account every day.
We cannot provide support on how you can verify your Skrill account as this is an external matter, but this may help: https://www.skrill.com/en/new-account-verification/

I cant see the £2 figure listed anywhere; where did you see it? I asked skrill twice but they wont answer my question- just keep referring me to terms that not incldue any minimum deposit.
The link below states the conditions, one being "your friend needs to deposit and become a Тrue Skriller". That suggests to me a £1 deposit would suffice.

It’s quite difficult to find payment processors who will support gambling, however you might want to try Skrill (https://www.skrill.com/en/business/shopping-carts/woocommerce/) as they have pre-built WooCommerce integration.

Does this mean that they will correct my fake name when I verify my ID?
Looks like you open account in different currency. So every your deposit will exchange from eur
You cant change account currency. There is two ways - close this account by request to support and reopen new one in EUR
Or you could deposit 15k eur (or same amount in another currency) - so you could create second account.
Some times skrill allow to register multi currency account, but i dont get the rules for it. Better ask them by support directly.
My choice is Paypal. Because it only has a 2% fee. After that, you can freely transfer your money to your bank account or card. More info about Paypal money transfer to bank here
While Skrill has a 1% fee. But if you want to transfer then the money to your visa card it has a 7.5% commission and to transfer it to the bank account it takes a 5.5 euros. More info about Skrill here
You can also check more information here at toloka: Withdrawing money - Toloka. Help (yandex.com)
They don't seem to give one to everyone straight away and you need to have completed at least one transfer with them first, but they have instructions for finding it here:
> via the Refer a Friend section of your Skrill Money Transfer account
> If you don’t see the Refer-a-friend tab in your account, this means that the referral programme is not available to you.
From here:
If you can't see a link there yet then they usually send it out a few weeks or months afterwards :)
I could have sworn I saw an update from them saying it was, but just had a check on their list of countries:
And it looks like it's still not available in the US, so it looks like I was wrong.
Apologies for the confusion. I'll update my post and amend the title the next time I share the offer :)

I've done quite a few of the money transfer sign ups recently, and Skill was the quickest to process the transaction and for the money to show up in the receiving account. Was able to sign up, send the money to bnc10 and then on from there all within a day.
Has quite a nice and easy to use app, and a loyalty programme that's definitely worth a look if you plan on using fairly regularly:
https://www.skrill.com/en/skrill-news/inside-skrill/skrill-knect-loyalty-programme/
I'd love it if anyone would like to sign up with my referral, but please consider OP first:
Skill was the quickest and easiest transfer bonus I've received yet. Had my account verified, money sent and arrive in my other account all in the same day.
They have a loyalty programme called Knect that you can earn additional rewards with if you continue to use them too:
https://www.skrill.com/en/skrill-knect/
Please consider the OP first, but if anyone would like to use my referral I'd be hugely appreciative:

I thought gambling was prohibited, but it says only illegal gambling.
The issue is that anyone who cannot gamble online, eg a US citizen or anyone who is not allowed to gamble, who gambles on the site, even if the site is legal where it is hosted (eg Malta or UK), could ask Skrill to reverse the transaction, and they will. Not a good idea.

Still a bargain, for trying to buy bitcoin with this payment method.
Otherwise, you might look at doing an online trade using that as payment method using a P2P trading exchange. If you place the ad, you set the price -- thus you might find a seller willing to sell at the lower price for your offer.

You need to log in on Skrill website and make the payment to our account: [email protected]
If you want quick payment then we only offer in-game payment through paypal.
That is against Paypal TOS, so it's very risky.

You can buy it via Skrill. They accept many kinds of payment, including debit cards.
The only one I'm aware of similar to Venmo that you can use to make payments internationally is Skrill:-
https://www.skrill.com/en/transfer-money/pay-a-friend/
There are others in the UK, such as SquareCash:-
But I understand that only works in each country (ie you can't send internationally)
May I ask why it is so important to hide your name? It really does sound a bit dodgy that you're getting money from someone and don't want to let them know what your name is.
If you don't need to hide your name then there are lots of services that will transfer money internationally very cheaply. Here is one, but there are many more:-
Depende. ¿Dónde te encuentras? Si es algún país fuera de la unión Europea, no.

I just got an email from Skrill saying that they have made some changes to their ToS, and apparently they will be deducting money from people's accounts if they don't login or use it.
https://www.skrill.com/en/footer/terms-conditions/skrill-terms-of-use/
I got this mail by Skrill today.
Dear xxxxxxx
We are contacting you to let you know that we are making changes to some of the Skrill Account Terms of Use that govern our relationship with you and the way we provide the Skrill Services.
The changes will come into effect on March 13, 2019.
You can view the new Skrill Account Terms of Use by clicking on the link above. We have also taken this opportunity to provide you with a summary of the changes below.
The following change shall apply to the service fee referenced in the Skrill Account Terms of Use:
Your Skrill Account is free for personal use as long as you login or make a transaction at least every 12 months. If you don't do this, a monthly service fee of EUR 5.00 (or equivalent) will be deducted monthly from the funds in your Account.
We may now at any time suspend or terminate your Skrill Account without notice if we have reason to believe that another Skrill or NETELLER account held by you has been used for any fraudulent activity, money laundering, terrorism financing or other criminal activity.
These changes will come into effect on March 13, 2019 and will automatically apply to the services Skrill provides to you. Your continued use of the Skrill services after March 13, 2019 will be taken as your acceptance of the above changes. Please get in contact with us should you need further information.
Regards,
Skrill Team
So, I'm holding crypto currency in my Skrill account but you are forcing me spend 5 euro monthly payment now?!? What a shame.
PWE doesn't own Skrill, they just use them as a payment processor. So it's not a PWE change at all. It's entirely Skrill and their owners Paysafe Group Inc.
It's also not in the TOS, it's in their fees section: https://www.skrill.com/en-us/siteinformation/fees/
Companies like Skrill are not subject to the same regulation as banks. The rationale is what I'm describing here, the concept that 2FA services like Authy are insecure by nature. Banks use their own systems so that their users can't use insecure third party applications which might void their security policies. If their security policies are not up to scratch, they are fined big bucks for it. The fact is, though, their 2FA is usually either SMS, or an effective replica of Google Authenticator. The only way to recover an account where 2FA access is lost is an arduous process involving proof of identity and such. It's difficult (although not impossible) to login using a desktop computer, and that's through design.
Oh, and Skrill also recommend Google Authenticator, not Authy... I wonder why?: https://www.skrill.com/en/support#/path/ACCOUNT/Two-Factor-Authentication/905761532/Two-Factor-Authentication-2FA.htm
Didn't know about it. But seems like your Skrill balance can be transferred to eSewa. Skrill is kind of a competitor to PayPal. So using a Skrill account to open PayPal wouldn't be possible (my guess). But like Payoneer, Skrill also issues an international debit MasterCard. These are normally issued to us based on our local address meaning we can open a one-way Nepali PayPal with it.
Sounds good! I'll get the funds into my account there. ^_^
Aack.. just noticed on their fees page that in the US, withdrawing from a Skrill account (via ACH into a bank account) costs $4.99.
Maybe TransferWise is the better option after all? Or, for now, I could have a friend use PayPal, and I sort it out with them. =:/
No problem! I'll take a look around - I recall there being rather more options that don't involve bank account info.. a*ha!* One I recall using a while back to send money into my Flattr account was Moneybookers, who've apparently morphed into Skrill.
I agree with Synclicity it just seems like a misscommunication, mabye reath is just really trusting and sends his money asap, i've dealt with people like that before. in the end no one lost money and no one got scammed. If you guys dont feel comfortable trading with each other don't you have every right to decline a deal if you dont feel safe. I think we all learned a valuable lesson from this which is be safe kids, wear a skrill.
Such WOW - thank you!
One last, quick thing - I used Virwox to purchase Doge in a very round about manner, but the one thing that really impressed me was that I could use a prepaid visa because they processed it with a company called Skrill - https://www.skrill.com/en-us/
Don't know anything about costs, etc, but it was fast and easy, so I'll just leave that out there. Also, I have a slight aversion to paypal, so my intentions may not be wholly pure..
Shibe on, and good luck!
As far as I know there's no way to do that without using an intermittent account or service. If your problem is the fees, you can try to reduce them by becoming a Skrill VIP. https://www.skrill.com/en/vip/overview/
Do not use online gambling sites for transferring purposes either. If they discover your intention you will have to battle to get back your money.
