No, but I wouldn't mind more promotions or subclasses. They talked about adding these awhile back, but nothing ever came of it.

It's not a virus, but it's a shitty VPN service. I recommend getting a proper VPN like Private Internet Access or the like. Same effect as NoPing. I almost never get kicked, and when I do I just switch servers. Just look for a good VPN which has a lot of servers in your country.

On topic. You can set OBS to record only a portion of the window if you want to. If your edits are sloppy I feel like this isnt an issue related to your recording software, instead your editing may be at fault. Have you thought of implementing SSL on the site? There are free certificates (https://letsencrypt.org) you can use and it's extremely simple to setup (considering you have root access in your server). Just a thought I had, I don't see a hard requirement for the site (since it doesn't have login or anything), just thought it would be nice to have it. Btw great work on the site!

Some years ago there was an announcement that CipSoft was developing subclasses by a new promotion at level 100. I don't remember all of them, but for example Paladins could branch out to either have high single target damage or be AoE oriented. Druids could be healing or damage oriented, etc. I don't know if it's true, but the guy working on those subclasses isn't in CipSoft anymore, so the idea/project was abandoned, which is a real shame. I'm on mobile right now, so if you want the link to the official announcement tell me, I'll try to find it later.

You are wrong. It is not about logging in, there is a 10 second of "protection" when logging in with battle but this is so you have time to open backpacks and such.
Simply losing the TCP connection will make the monsters stop attacking you, that is the feature. Upon losing the connection the monsters stop attacking you for 30 seconds and then after another X seconds (during which the monsters can target you again) your character logouts (X equals 10 for mages, 20 for paladins and 30 for knights)

No you don't, you do get a PZ lock for putting them down but you wont get a skull or even a frag if they die from it.

just them make sure here is the retro pvp rules (at least what I remember).

putting down any type of elemental field would result in a protection zone block and it will harm other players yet will yield no frag or skull.

when a person is killed in pvp he shall receive 100% death penalty (after blessings), the retro pvp system does not include fair fight rules so 0 reduction will be handed out.

when a person is killed in pvp, 2 unjustified kills will be handed out, (iirc) for the person who hit last and the one who did the most damage, even if 20 people killed 1 guy, only 2 of them will get the unjustified kills.

any type of attack will automatically another player and will result in a skull (can be yellow skull if the guy has white/red/black skull).

no twist of fate, meaning pvp = pve death.

you cannot walk through people, same as mwalls, on open pvp mwalls and you don't block other people unless in a fight.

that's the basics of it, overall I really like it except the AoE part, other than that I love the retro pvp system.

Follow that guide. If you're on windows you'll need a program called PuTTY and should probably look up the basic guide on how to connect to your server with SSH. It's not overly difficult, but it's a bit involved. For 5$ a month to be in control over the data that goes through it, I'd rather spend it there than through the 'tibia focused' VPNs. I have heard some really shady stuff about them.

Give ad block plus a shot, it should deal with the adds for you and make page loads a hell of a lot faster. Flash adds are the most expensive thing for a browser to deal with.

If there's a big enough issue on one particular server then why don't all the high level characters go out together hunting botters? Instead of fighting back against these people you're bending over to them.

I'm not saying that you can rid the game of botters, but you can slow them down significantly by banding together. If half the people upset about the game spent the energy thwarting botters instead of complaining, maybe there would be so many of them.

High level Paladins are not as efficient as high level knights due to the lack of AoE attack, yeah. By high level I mean 200+, before that there is no better class to play solo than a paladin.

However, keep in mind CipSoft's plans for 2016 are:

• new UI

• class diversification and balance (they said it'd be based on their previous ideas found here: http://www.tibia.com/news/?subtopic=newsarchive&id=2963 )

If the last one goes live, a lot will change and paladins will most likely become just as viable at high lvl play.

Actually they can. Lag is a result of the conditions of the various networks your connection passes through along its route between your client and the server, and the normal route chosen from your ISP isn't necessarily the best. The use of a proxy will change the route beyond it which could have potentially better conditions that could result in any combination of lower latency, increased speed or stability all of which can subsequently reduce lag. Of course a proxy can also have a negative effect increasing higher lag or no noticeable effect at all.

I personally see a noticeable difference when using some proxy/VPN servers compared to without. I live just outside Sydney in Australia and normally get 165 ms to the west coast of the US and 225 ms to the east coast. When I use NordVPN using a GSL Networks server located in Sydney I get 145 ms to the west coast and 205 ms to the east coast, and aside from this lower latency its stability is also noticeably better with less ping spikes in-game.

I play in Calmera (NA Server) and I am currently living in Germany. I use ExpressVPN (paid VPN service). With it on, I can achieve 150 ms ping. Without it is 400 ms. There are Taiwan connections available in this software. I think it's worth checking out.

I tested VyprVPN and works fine, but works better when I made my own vpn server. It's not too hard, all you need is YouTube and a VPS server.

Of course, the proxies made for games works even better than my own vpn... and I give up and installed bootcamp ��

As you can see here , you can only rebind Xbutton1 and Xbutton2 with Autohotkey. If you have more buttons, then you really need the software that comes with the mouse.

Try whitelisting the Tibia website url instead of the client. The client will use the login service which is some PHPnfiles on their website. When you can access Tibia's website, you should be able to login.

I use Mullvad VPN and have no issues with Tibia. None lf their IPs are blocked. I highly recommend it over ProtonVPN. Much better privacy too.

The working theory is that participation works kind of like a lottery where those who have received the most damage (most likely, the actual damage received is counted) done the most damage and healing all get more tickets and therefore have a higher chance of getting a better item.

these details don't match up. bk house bug is probably the most famous dupe bug and it happened before calmera existed. the three servers that existed at the point were reset between several days to weeks (some more than others). here is the news article of that.

Yeah. It all started when they implemented the DDoS protection things to their servers.

I believe they used a company that has pretty much a full garbage connection to 95% of peoples ISP;s, thats why some people are available to play without any problem, but most people are not. I remember reading a long explanation about it in tibias forums.

Which would imply that, without any botters, the amount of sold scrolls/coins would be the same? I doubt that!

Besides that, bots have been a major problem in tibia since TibiaAuto and other bots were released on tibia 7.6 and even older clients. The coins / scrolls are things from a 'recent' past.

But yes, you could be right that, nowdays most coins are bought by fair players (hence the recent positive feedback on BE so far). With that in mind, what other reason do you think could hold them back from using BE on all servers if not risk for revenue?

Game weakness (ab)use was punished with bann before, but they have changed the rules, because they couldn't enforce it among all players. Thus making xloggin / TP and such things legal now. Also multiclient is legal, you can even open multiple clients with tibia 11 without restriction.

After a short downtime due to maintenance work, all game worls are now back online.

I will explain the problem with disconnects. The internet is structured similar to streets in the real world. You can access them when leaving your house, but not every street is able to lead you everywhere at any time. Sometimes individual roads are disrupted even if others are fine. If you end up on such a disrupted road, you will face a traffic jam which is similar to lag or a disconnect. To reach our game server you need to use many different streets to cover a very long distance. All these streets cannot be controlled by us nor by your service provider. This is the nature of the internet. It is being improved constantly but you will never be 100% safe. Therefore, we try to implement safety features which will protect your character in case of a disconnect, but this is not that simple. Just play your servers, there is no need to die to get compensated with vouchers.

Also, here's what I think will most likely happen:

CipSoft will stop giving vouchers as compensation for lags, downtimes or kicks. If anything, they will do server specific 2x exp/skills, like they recently did. After most of the current vouchers expire in June/July they will start selling them (around August).

Dawnport will be just as bad. It may be worth it to go to Rookgaard if you're one of the first players online, but a lot of people think of that as well.

Monster spawn blocking only applies to certain monsters. You can see the list here.

I've been brainstorming leveling strategies for tomorrow and I haven't come up with anything great, but the Grizzly Adams tasks are tried and true. You can hunt the most popular spawns if you're one of the first online. The longer you wait, the more creative you have to get.

The main focus is to keep your SS consistent so the gif would run smoothly, so I checked the option interface > game window > scale using only integral multiples. Last time I did this I even played in other pcs so the frame transitions were not good some times...

If anyone is curious, this shows the least number of javascript sources required for wikia to work. The plugin will break most pages until you allow the right content to execute, but you can avoid being data-mined if you're smart about it.

You might want to install Autohotkey seperately and run that programm to record all your keys and you will know what they are called. As for performance, I haven't tried Tibialyzer myself, only Autohotkey. So far I didnt feel a difference and I think it's not taking up alot of your ressources.

if your iq is higher than 200 go with this bad boy triple pedal...it can take 3 hotkeys off your hands and make shit way easier...for example my ultimate manas are on a pedal and my sio on my mouse, so now I don't have to switch my thumb position back and fourth 100 times per pull to spam mana and sio I just hold down the mana pedal and focus on my sios. gives you the same effect as putting mana/sio on scroll wheel up/down (makes it way easier) but now you can still scroll your bps and such.

I use this the thumb buttons are for exura ico as it's where your thumb always sits so it's easy, shift and thumb for gran ico, next thumb button for exori hur and shift for ico.

Hold buttons next to left mouse button for mana and supreme for easy access, you can add shit and control to these too if you want.

You'll need to download an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, which is where you'll use a code that you'll find on tibia.com when you're setting it up.

It's done in python, using the requests library to get the page information and then BeautifulSoup4 to parse the data. Cloudflare was something I was running in to as well. I was able to get past it by using a proxy provided by NordVPN.

Update: It seems Mullvad is the best option for now. Much cheaper than NordVPN, doesn't log anything and allows 5 users to use it. And offers discount for payment via Bitcoin.

Good question, the simple answer is that there isn't really an alternative yet. Tibia hasn't run on Mac before, this is a first, so noone has developed a bespoke proxy service for it yet. You might find some joy looking at ExpressVPN or other "general gaming proxies" such as those targeting other games. Other than that, your best bet is to wait it out and see if anyone is interested in developing one.

Something like this should do the trick. It has a few storage options, and I highly recommend having a SSD. A 128gb one is enough for Windows, and a bunch of extra softwares that you might need. It only starts being too small if you want to have games installed on it, but for what you said you want it for, it's more than enough.

i've never used a naga so i can't compare it to that, but it's been pretty great for me. after about 2 years the left click got a little sensitive and would sometimes click 2-3 times in quick succession. it's about 4 years old now and that's the only problem that i've had and i dont think it's a big enough problem to stop using it. i also wrote a quick ahk script to fix the problem if i ever notice it annoying me, ill include it t the end of the post if anyone has a similar problem or something. it's more of an annoyance when im on reddit than when im gaming but i thought i should mention it

other than that it comes with it's own software, i think the keys are default set to 1-12 without the software, with it you can set it to whatever you want, i haven't had any problems with the software. it has a macro function also, which i've never used
