Thanks!

OMG someone else who gets it! I recently got 7 of those wire shelf units - even added some casters to them. Best value for the money.
If your laptop isn't powering the other screen, and it looks like it isn't, then you could use something like Mouse Without Borders from Microsoft Garage. It's not the best software of its kind, but it is free, and works well enough. This could clear up some room from your desk by letting you use one mouse/keyboard for both computers. I've used it a good bit.
It may have something to do with using VGA. My monitors are 2x DVI and 1x HDMI.
VGA is very old indeed and is an analog format, where DVI, HDMI and Display Port are digital. You may have an issue with Windows not wanting to make a VGA display the primary display.
Try getting a HDMI/DVI to VGA adapter and running both from your graphics card. Ideally, you should only use your graphics card, as using onboard graphics together with a graphics card has issues (including significant performance problems - I lost about 50% of my FPS when I tried this out).
Check out https://www.displayfusion.com/ this allows you to adjust your monitor locations without having to physically move them. I use the free version and it is great for making the monitors align properly.
Lastly, update your graphics card drivers.
Nice! I have already planned and furnished my entire room digitally with Sweet Home 3D (free and open software), and it literally keeps me up at night trying out different ways of putting together my room. Highly recommend! Makes the whole work of moving so much more fun!
Hope your move will be nice and smooth as well!
I put adhesive backed magnetic tape on mine and stuck it to the case. Worked much better than the adhesive from the phanteks factory.
dang, looks pretty nice! if you'd like to improve/nitpick, heres few pointers:
-c a b l e m a n a g e m e n t
putting your pc on the desk. i saw your other comment on how you're worried about it collapsing. im not sure how stable the desk is, but it seems fine. you could get a few cheap l-brackets for support if it really worries you, though. i also built a pc for a friend and he killed it a month later due to knocking a glass of water on it, and since his pc was on the floor, damage was maximized.
-get a bigger mouse pad! heres one off amazon that had alot of size options. bot having your keyboard wobble about as you're gaming, and not having yoor stuff so close to you os a really nice feeling.
heres one a friend recommended to me: https://www.amazon.com/Extended-Custom-Professional-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B086D9X8TP/ref=mp_s_a_1_23

This one. It seems fine so far, haven't had any issues other than it seems to occasionally get stuck when gaming ( like WASD games and W gets stuck for a few seconds then it reconnects). Only happened like twice all day yesterday.

Here's what I bought. I was originally looking for a pastel blue keyboard (for the water), thinking that it would be a bit easier as its a good complimentary colour to the more common pink. The moment I saw green (for the landscapes of Ontario), I had to get on it.

I actually got it at work bc they were throwing stuff away. It was covered in dust and I swindled our manager out of it saying it was trash lol
Pretty sure it’s this
i bought it second hand from a friend sorry, but it should be something similar to this one
i sometimes use my family tv as a monitor, but its shared and hence not always available for me to use
i recently had to change my desk around and needed to set my pc on the floor, i got this for pretty cheap. it keeps your pc directly off the floor, its pretty sturdy, has holes for airflow and is height adjustable. my desk isn’t that tall and i still managed to fit my computer under it with at least 6 inches on top of the case. would be great if you didn’t wanna kill your psu with dust, i know a lot of dorm rooms that are still dirty no matter how many times they’ve been cleaned...
It was a $60 gaming chair that I got on sale on Amazon, which I thought was a good deal considering that many gaming chairs are typically 3x that amount lol.

Dear User,
Let me just get this out of the way, this a great setup. It has a lot of potential! I would recommend getting a better monitor and getting upgrades on your pc like the processor and video card- this doesn’t matter that much right now. The big thing bothering me is that chunky bezel monitor. It catches my eye quickly- I would recommend getting an Asus, maybe something like this- Asus Monitor
It isn’t the best monitor but it’s good for the price and looks better than a thick bezel.
Great monitor/ and looks so much better than a thick bezel.
This is a pic behind the monitors hope this is a better view.
This is the monitor arm I used it was on a list of top rated arms that hold their weight but are budget friendly.
If you want your setup to be clean, i would personally recommend wireless peripherals (an alternative is to cut a little slice in you mouse pad and cut a small hole in your desk to route your cables through), maybe some fake ikea plants and a single color mousepad (maybe a similar color just no patterns. I would also recommend a boom arm for your microphone ( https://www.amazon.com/InnoGear-Microphone-Windscreen-Suspension-Snowball/dp/B07CN2C93T/ ). other than that its pretty dang clean. nice setup.

Some random one i bought on amazon before i got the Elgato Key light. It does the job, just not as convenient as the Elgato being able to turn on and adjust it with the stream deck. Its also on a flexible tripod that i got in a kit for my GoPro a long time ago.
Some offbrand off of Amazon that works great but I'm hoping to upgrade soon.
Lol I had some Hotline Miami prints and Cold War Propoganda Posters hung up so I feel ya when guests don’t like em. As for LED RGB light strips, I highly recommend these which I had for a while before handing them off to a friend. As for the ones I use now, I have some IKEA DIODER strips I got on sale during my trip the U.S.
I don't know, I got it from my dad's workplace, it is just a standard black laprop stand with height adjustment. Just search up black laptop stand on amazon

Unsure of the kind OP actually has but I got this from Amazon a while back.
I am not a fan, mine doesn’t change brightness and it was always blinding me when I try to sleep. So if you like having a nice dark room when sleeping I would look for another one and do your due diligence.
Perhaps a monitor lightbar to brighten up the area. Found a curved monitor lightbar on amazon. According to the reviews it works well with the Samsung Odessey G9 despite it being smaller.
gaming mat (I think this is the updated version of it- my RGB gave out eventually and was not wireless- this one looks like it is - I actually have a new something on the way but will save this if I want to switch looks lol)
meshlicious is the case!
tysm! and the 10 keyless is awesome... it's one of my faves of the few that I have. This is the LTC Nimbleback and it's excellent. I painted it light purple and swatched the keycaps and switches (lubed them, also). I love, love, love it!
It is! I like the ambient lighting when I work late (+ two Hue play bars behind the monitor). When in video calls, I move the light bar toward me so my face isn’t completely dark. That’s what the circle things are for, they’re magnets lol.
And the clock is this one!

It's...ok. The keyboard is a little finicky and will have hiccups every once in awhile. I've found that I have to keep the dongle plugged directly into my laptop as opposed to my hub. That might change with a hub upgrade.
I like your setup, especially the desk, I've always wanted one with at least a little bit of an L shape. I don't believe that cable management is everything and I don't stress it too much, but I see your keyboard cable has a lot of tension on it. You wanna avoid tension on cables because they could wear out or break the ports in your motherboard (then you're SOL and will need to replace parts). May I suggest rerouting it around your monitor or a USB extender? They are relatively inexpensive and can end up saving you a lot of money in the long run. Either way, I love seeing progress updates on builds, keep it up!
Yeah i am happy with the performance of them, between them there are no noticeable differences to me. I was doing them on a budget really and if i had to choose again i would try and get monitors with an audio output which is something neither of these have but that's just more personal preference.
In terms of the mounting, i used two of these. Was fairly easy to install and has held them up really well. I was worried about the weight of the monitors plus the two kits but the stand is really sturdy enough for it all.
I just bought the kit, akko ocean blue switches and the caps are just these cheap ones i picked up on Amazon but probably my favourite set because of the sound profile from how thick they are.
Akko has something similar tho i think it's better and more expensive and it's in amazon link here
Depending on the room available under the desk in the back, there is and "under the desk" attachment you can get on amazon that will hold your pc above the carpet.
The monitor arm is more of a stand that I got off amazon, and so far it's great. Fits together well, and can support up to 40# per mounting point. You can use this link if you're interested.
Correction, it doesn’t come with an switch tool but still does come with an key cap tool. Still recommend it

Your setup looks awesome! I have a similar setup with the vertical monitor on the right. If there’s anything to add, I would recommend a monitor light bar, it improves the ambiance of your workspace and doesn’t take up any space. I replaced my desk lamp with a BenQ one and it truly saves my eyesight, highly recommend it!
Yes, it is a small hammock footrest. It works decently well, better than nothing for sure. I didnt like the idea of shoving an ottoman or footrest under my desk that was fixed at one height so i tried a hammock. So, it’s a 47” desk (I needed something under 50”) but also needed it to have a big enough stand for my PC as it’s a chonky mid tower. Also the PC stand is a metal grate so can be used for airflow purposes which is awesome. However I did get the price mixed up with a previous desk. I paid $140 with taxes and it has gotten a tad more pricey if that is fine.
