This was Mr. purr-lacher three years ago, before the hair transplant.
^Sorry ^for ^your ^loss ^boss
Im sure his pain is pretty bad, and this probably helps him more than it hurts him but THC (even if vaped or eaten to mitigate the carcinogens in smoke) is not harmless.
It disrupts REM sleep, and when used daily will contribute to white matter loss in key areas of the brain over long term. Not saying its the worst thing, alcohol is probably far worse, I just don't agree with so many people thinking its completely harmless as a painkiller and is fine to use every day for years and years. Advice: Use 2-3 times per week max, not every day bear fans. This gives your brain time to recover through deeper REM sleep. Everything in moderation.
Pick him up as your starting qb! Fuck it, why not? It'll make it more fun for ya.
Edit: Plus, you can name your team Kissin TDs and use this amazing image.
Where you staying at? If you're not within cab / Uber / walking distance to the Soldier Field, my tips will drastically change.
Also, there's a 70% chance of rain. You're allowed to bring wet weather gear into the stadium, but no umbrellas. Also, all bags must meet NFL security standards.
The most popular option is Private Internet Access. They're cheap and have great speeds in my experience.
Basically with PIA's desktop client you just select which region you want to connect to and it'll establish a secure, encrypted connection to that server and route your traffic through it.
I was very glad we kept with the ground attack. Remember the dark days?

52 passes, 26 runs to blow the game thank god we aren't getting the tresticles in our face anymore
To provide contrast, this is what Peyton Manning does when he hangs out with kids.
I really hope the Bears reward Jay's awesomeness with a shiny brand new OLine.
Haha, I totally baited you into that. Yes, yes I have. We pay Shady even less though! It turns out, if Forte averaged 0.1 yard more per game, they'd be exactly equal in yards/game/dollar (assuming the salaries I found were accurate anyway).
They really both need to get paid some serious money.
The league only allows head coach hires to get out of their contract. Cool story. Back in the 60's the Rams hired Bears assistant coach George Allen as head coach while he was under contract. Halas took them to court because a contract was a contract. After he won the court case, he immediately canceled Allen's contract to let him go to the Rams. The story is here. It is pretty cool with a Halas courtroom speech while his lawyer is yelling "Objection!" and everything.
> Is that so? Like I said, it feels that way, but is that feeling born out by the evidence/stats? What would it mean to be "the most injured team"?
4th most injured in 2015:
http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page/32for32x151021/ranking-most-banged-nfl-teams-1-32
There are no stats out there for 2016 yet, but with White done for the year and 11 of our starters, make that 12 now, out for considerable time, we are surely somewhere in the top 5
Fellow UK Bears fan here. Had a quick look and this is the best I could find:

I think you need their "premium" package but there's a button for a free trial, so could just use that and cancel afterwards? Worth a go
Alright, so I've gotten numerous private messages about the trick.. I was a little leery about posting it, but I guess maybe it's not a big deal.
I live in Indiana and don't see the Bears games very often, so this trick is great for me.
If you have Hulu Live, download the mock GPS app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lexa.fakegps) for Android (there's definitely a similar app for iPhone) and set your location to Chicago. It takes about 10 seconds.
Turn off the WiFi on your smartphone, then open the Hulu app. Now, go to the Live portion of the app and you'll notice the Chicago Fox channel there. That's where the game is tonight. Now, you can turn your wifi back on as not to eat up mobile data.
If your problem is that you already get Chicago channels but it sometimes doesn't allow you to watch at game time, then set your location on the fake GPS app to Denver (or whoever we are playing that game) and try their regional network. At least now you have two options.
Dak was arrested (acquitted after the draft) for a DUI. Probably a character scare for Pace.
Yes, please someone explain this.
Was this something he said on video? If so, can you link a clip?
Quick edit: Maybe this?
Edit 2: Probably this.
That's just wrong, or at least inconsistent. If you go 11-5, your chances of making the playoffs is a LOT higher than 50% - I'll bet it's closer to 90%.
In the last 10 seasons (2000-2009), the 2007 Cleveland Browns, 2005 Kansas City Chiefs, and 2003 Miami Dolphins all had a record of 10-6 and didn't make the playoffs.
There have also been 11-5 teams that didn't make the playoffs including the 2008 New England Patriots and 1985 Denver Broncos.

I was just in Niles, MI/South Bend, IN and Chicago over the 4th of July. My uncle has the best basement... bar, pool table, TV, foosball, dartboard, and shit tons of Bears stuff.

The Hyatt at the arch is very nice. This bbq place called bogart's smokehouse is supposed to be really good. Here is a trip advisor forum that i thought would help also.
>Give me an example where having Brian Urlacher on the field or any other player for that matter, has really been a game changer
The Bears are 7-15 without him in the game, which I feel speaks strongly for his impact.
Roach cannot do his job adequately because Roach lacks Urlacher's height, speed, ability to cover, ability to break on the ball, ability to make plays, and ability to read the offense or direct traffic. The Bears' defense is tailored for Urlacher. If he's not in there, Marinelli should change how the defense works because we do not have anyone else on the roster who can do the same things that Urlacher can.
K just remember you're literally rooting 4 games into the season for the team you claim to support to lose.
For fuck sake.
As for those Cubs?
That's 27 top 10 draft picks since 1965. Literally more than half the time they've drafted top 10. But hey, they're good now, right?
As you can see here, his QBR so far this year of 31 is above only that of Teddy Bridgewater, Luke Falk, Kirk Cousins and Cam Newton.
I agree that Daniel having a single game QBR of 81.2 is a small sample size; however, he certainly does not seem to be any worst than Trubisky.
Trubisky does seem to have a stronger arm; in cases where Trubisky is scrambling, off balance or on his back foot, he can throw much farther.
Unfortunately, his footwork is terrible; "on his back foot" seems to often apply when it should not.
IMHO, use Mitch or Chase this year, and try to find someone in the next draft. I realize that quarterback is the one position where Ryan Pace has failed; given his otherwise outstanding record, I think it would be a good idea for him to try again. Besides, what other pressing needs are there? O-Line can usually be found in later rounds (and Alex Bars should be able to win a spot next season). Receivers, tight ends, D line, linebackers, DBs (assuming Ha Ha Clinton Dix resign) and running backs are all good.
ummm did you check ebay? -http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHICAGO-BEARS-SWEATER-DITKA-MED-LG-XL-XXL-3XL-vtg-/120773294044?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item61cc92261b
or is it being wool really worth $40 to you?
This one isn't going up on the boards, since it's not really about FA, but it will have an effect. Per Chicago Sportswriter Peggy Kusinsky, the Bears believe Edwin Williams will be their Center of the future, but that he's not there quite yet.
Pure speculation on my part, but I bet this is what's holding up the Kreutz deal. The Niners probably offered him a multi-year contract, while the Bears probably only offered him a 1-year deal or maybe only 1-year with guaranteed money. Now he has to choose whether to take the longer deal or to stay in Chicago. They're calling his bluff.
Makes me feel like the Bears are prepared to start Garza at Center for the first few games, coach up Williams, and have him come in maybe mid-season. I get the feeling that we'll only see either Kreutz or Garza on the roster come Week 1. If Kreutz signs, Garza gets cut. If Kreutz doesn't sign, Garza starts at Center.
God, what a worthless year he had last year.

Nope, it's not a lowering of when they can pull, it's a lowering of the age they can pull until.
Illegally yes, stream2watch.cc will definitley have both games. If you want to pay therugbychannel.tv will have at least the usa game
My girlfriend actually surprised me with the bandana. It’s pretty sweet because a collar can loop through it, so you don’t have to actually tie it
NFL Gamepass. I'm getting tired of posting how to do it. Just search gamepass on this subreddit to get the instructions. And make sure to use Kepard or Hola Unblocker instead of wasting money on a VPN.
Download Kepard Free VPN Trial
Install Kepard
Configure Kepard to connect to Netherlands server.
Immediately visit
Click the green Watch button
Choose the Bears game from the top right corner.
As soon as the game starts up, disconnect the free Kepard VPN. The game will continue to run as normal.
Congratulations, you now have high definition Bears Football. This can be repeated as many times as needed during the season, unless Gamepass changes its terms of service and denies The Netherlands access to free NFL games.
CAUTION: Kepard's free trial only works for 30 minutes EACH DAY. Forgetting to disconnect means that you can not watch any other football games that day with Gamepass.
Well, if that's the case, it's too late, because I got the information on how to do this (minus Kepard, which I found on my own) from the NFL subreddit. Good idea, but someone else already gave this info away.
Gloves. They aren't actually touch screen friendly when it's cold which is what I wanted for the scanners at work which are touch screen. But they are warm and waterproof. Actually everything listed in my previous post is waterproof aside form the beanie.
We shall see if it's a good game however it's a fact that viewership is declining. Poor prime time match ups is a major factor.
Ed Werder at ESPN says a source tells him Lacy is unlikely to play Thursday. He missed practice Monday and Tuesday, and the source says "I can't see him playing".

I had these dvds as a kid, it’s what taught me all about the bears… but look for a cheaper resell
Lauren Cox on the "Locked on Bears" podcast explains why Trubisky got a low grade. It's not satisfying but it makes some sense if you want to give it a listen.
If you’re into reading at all, Papa Bear is a pretty good book with a lot of history

I absolutely love these. I have a pair of these and they make winter a breeze.
The Hot Hands are disposable and create waste. I use them for my boots but I use these rechargeable ones for my hands.
That sucks man. I got mine at a charity auction. I was doing some research later and found that you can get them for super cheap on Groupon right now. I am just happy that my money when to a good cause

Says Not really, I would love some testing of the air circulation of soldier field.
Oh man, it's bad ownership......Can't lie to myself here, they suck.
Yes, that's all true, but what if, we're disadvantaged in a way beyond football controls. It's hard for me to believe in the complete incompetence of this ownership to get a thrower.
Looked at https://weatherspark.com/compare/d/2/14/13582~14091/Comparison-of-the-Average-Weather-in-Green-Bay-and-Chicago-on-February-14 ..and Icebox's comment and Ouch.
It's really ownerships incompetence....isn't it?
Yeah I see some pretty good ones around here on this sub. These are my two favorites that I use for football season:
http://imgur.com/IA41hRt,xpUp4rx
But I have a ton of good ones for Hawks season if you're interested in those too. Otherwise I use Interfacelift for my wallpapers. They're high def and come in almost every screen resolution size.
One can get Adblock Plus for Android if they so desire. (See the FAQ for how to configure if on an unrooted phone.) I rarely browse on my phone but it seems like a smooth enough app and hasn't caused any difficulties for me.
There is an adblock-like app for apple devices too, but IDK who makes it or whether it's worth a damn.
I use NFL Gamepass Europe with a VPN. Kind of a grey area but official streams of good quality not those 3rd party janky streams you find for free. I use ExpressVPN and connect to London then just sign up on the Gamepass website.
Read the book, Monsters: The 1985 Chicago Bears and the Wild Heart of Football by Rich Cohen. It is simultaneously a history of the team and a history of our greatest season. It’s a great, fun read and will catch you up on pretty much everything you need to know.
https://www.amazon.com/Monsters-Chicago-Bears-Heart-Football/dp/1250056047
A Chicago Bears tiki totem! I got one for my boyfriend for his birthday, unfortunately they ran out of the style I got, but they have this one on Amazon!
The Under Center podcast is also pretty decent, but it covers a lot of the same ground as Hoge and Jahns. If you end up looking for a podcast that is more about the NFL in general, I'd recommend the Green Light Podcast with Chris Long. He is super funny and likeable, and he is the older brother of one of my favorite former Bears players, Kyle Long.
Also, since you said you were interested in the history of the franchise, there is a book by Adam Jahns of the Hoge and Jahns podcast that is called The Big 50: The Men and Moments that made the Chicago Bears that is full of info about the history of this team.
Here is a link, its only 15 bucks or so, totally worth it
Bear Down!
Italian beef is really really easy to make!
Another option is to get a VPN program and go with several of the alternatives that are out there.
For example, a lot of people use a VPN to change their location to make it look like they are logging into the internet from Europe and then buying the European Game Pass which allows you to watch live games.
As a former Californian now living in Denver here is what I do. My father lives in Naperville and has Xfinity. I have his username and password to log into their streaming service but I need to use a VPN (NordVPN - $70 for the year) to log into one of their Chicago area servers so Xfinity thinks that I am local. Then I just plug an HDMI cable from my laptop to my TV.
I have the Epson Home Cinema 1440. This unit has a high lumen output because I have it upstairs in my living room where it can be bright during the day and I can still see the image well. I of course have blackout drapes to better the image, but it still comes in well as long as the sun isn't showing though directly into the screen, which only happens for like 1 hour out of the day at my place. I love this projector, the image is ultra bright and crisp and runs much quieter than my previous unit.
If you would really like to understand the Bears on a deep level, I'd suggest purchasing this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1250056047/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_S5ofFbF5V6VZQ
Best book I've ever read. Gives a full detail of the Bears history, the leagues history, the Bears role in that history, and the 85 season.
yep. here's a link to the amazon page without the bears one, maybe they'll restock in the future.
Congratulations! Not sure how much luck you’ll have with premie sizes (glad they’re both doing well though!), but Amazon has a decent selection
NFL Boys 2 Pack Long Sleeve Bodysuit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VCTKQBX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HJlnFbAE84DTZ
Yeah, that won't make it for CBS at that distance. You'd need something bigger.
And even with that mounted outside, I still wouldn't guarantee CBS reception with it at that distance.
If you're north/northwest of the city, you might be able to get CBS from Milwaukee or Rockford if you aim your antenna that way (which of course would lose the Chicago stations).
48-3 does still carry CBS, but 48 is a low power station. Also I think their signal has been weaker of late possibly due to getting ready to change transmit frequencies on October 18. It's going to transmit on a lower UHF frequency than it's currently using which may (or may not) make it easier for you to pick up.
Sadly, CBS is not changing their frequency and will remain on VHF.
Absolutely. I used Private Internet for years to spoof my IP and get Gamepass access. The VPN is commonly abbreviated as PIA. See r/VPN or Google Private Internet Access. Also do your research to find which country has the cheapest game pass (it was Brazil in my day) and spoof your IP to buy Game pass for the cheapest possible.
On Game Day you turn on your VPN and login to Game Pass. The NFL can suck a dick for the Hoops we have to jump through but them the Hoops afaik
Best book is “Monsters: The 1985 Chicago Bears and the Wild Heart of Football”. Focuses on 85, but also provides a lot of history. Real fun read.
https://www.amazon.com/Monsters-Chicago-Bears-Heart-Football/dp/1250056047/
The 30 for 30 episode is streaming on Netflix. Not sure if it’s in the U.K. though. It’s amazing.
Nuts. And you signed up from the UK initially? I used Blockless and Nord and they both didn't work (and their site says it works of your account, not your location). Thankfully Sky haven't picked up many Bears games, I think I only had to buy a day pass once. Next year I'll sign up from a non-UK country just to hedge my bets
NFL GamePass as others have said, there's a heap on the during the week too about NFL in general. After I watch the Bears live (got to love sucking sometimes seeing we're always play at 6pm) I watch all the other games on Condensed (40 minutes each, every play) during the week to keep me going until next Sunday. If you get Blockless or another VPN (you should already have a VPN in the UK anyway seeing they've blocked nearly all the good torrent sites) you can get around the rare Bears blackout game by just saying you're in Germany or somewhere
I almost freaked out for a second, logged onto PureVPN with a UK IP address and signed into GamePass to find out the game has been blacked out. I switched to an Australian IP address and low and behold, no longer blacked out.
Thanks. Sadly, most of it came from the NFL subreddit, so the league probably knows about it (if they follow the subreddit like someone said they did). I just found the Kepard part, because I didn't want to pay $7 a month for something I was going to use once a week for a couple minutes.
It's this one
I do have that one though and it will probably be the next one to explode.
