But I mean helper usb already has a working version of BoTW for Cemu that many are using and is a trusted source within the Cemu community. There also has been many incidents of malware injection(not false positives) with Fit-Girl Repack files for many pirated software in the past. Fit-Girl repack for Cemu and BoTW rings my bell as to why when installation of Cemu is already over simplified to a point when you just download Cemu directly from cemu.info and then use helper usb to download BoTW with the update and DLC.

I would suggest you run a deep scan with your C drive and registry ASAP.

The launcher is powered by the FiddlerCore library, which is a proxy that lets you modify HTTP requests. It uses it to intercept and reply to Wii U USB Helper's requests. However, without a trusted SSL certificate, programs will fail to make any HTTPS conenctions while the launcher is running, which would not be very convenient. You can read more about it here.

This warning is there to make users aware of what they're doing, as this could be easily abused by malware. If you trust the origin of the software, though, there's nothing to worry about.

If you are using USBHelper or one of the alternatives for WiiU games then you shouldn't be detected as it just seems like a WiiU downloading the game.

If you were torrenting though, you should be using a VPN. My favourite is Private Internet Access. Been using it for years. Keep an eye out for sales and grab it. I pay about $60 AUD a year for it (so like $5 a month) but if you can get a 3 year deal then that's where you save.

I don't know why, but using the installer and version 653 of the helper, I often couldn't finish downloading games/updates/dlcs, and the download queue does not accurately represent the current state of downloading when this happens. The problem did not occur back when I was using version 616. To be precise, here's what would happen: Let's say that we have items A, B and C in the download queue, in that order. A would stop randomly (even when the "Current file" progress bar is not complete), and the program would skip to B. But in the download queue, A is still displayed in orange, and B is white. And the downloading of B might stop again, and the program might report that the whole download is complete and stop processing the download queue. But C is still in the queue! At this point, if I click start downloading again, the program would verify integrity of B, before saying that "your titles are ready" without downloading anything. The only way to continue the download is to restart the program, clear the download queue, and re-add everything again. And even then the problem would keep happening.

Completely off topic on what you were talking about, but I’ve been playing with DualShock 4 in cemu the whole time I played BOTW. I used DS4Windows downloaded from here. Created a profile in both DS4Windows and cemu with input from my controller. Sounds like you already played the game without it, but wanted to let you it’s possible.

To get the games I used a Windows VM and Wii U USB helper because I never got the other tools to work. Although it should be possible.

Vulkan WIP builds do not have working "Shader cache" yet, so there will be lots of stuttering.

tried with the 3 versions listed and then with another WiiU_USB_Helper.exe file that another user posted (i think it was used to fix the earlier problems with the launcher that already got fixed)

nothing changed and still stoped at 13% with same error 404 while loading metadata

Basically. Only worry about getting VC games if you are running them on an actual WiiU. Because why emulate a console in an emulator?

Another option is the GC version because it has MasterQuest on top of OOT and Majoras Mask (There is a n64 rom of MasterQuest out there as well, from what I can remember).

CEMU is heavily CPU-dependent, not so much GPU dependent.

1.5.0 is extreeeemely old, I'm not sure where you would even find it. The current version is 1.22.11c.

You should:

• Download the game using Wii-U USB Helper.
• Download the most recent CEMU version from cemu.info
• Follow this guide from BSOD gaming. Please, please don't skip through it and complain without watching the entire thing.

Have you tried CEMU 1.15.9 (or 10) ?

I think it was the most recent version that manage to run some games with an iGPU. You might see a few improvement.

Have you also tried to use the " -legacy" option for older intel GPU (on last versions) ?

Be aware that after CEMU 1.15.1e the Intel -nolegacy is now the default mode.

If you don't use usb helper (you really should, download it here), I would use ziperto. Link to the botw download on ziperto here. You need base+update just to play, and i suggest dlc. Also,

I'm getting some artifacts, when I walk back and forth in the Bloom Palace I get Tsubasa's skirt flicker with the white square and the purple line on the ground. I see the purple line style flicker in the first dungeon too.

The game flickers between a white spot over her skirt or the purple line.

If you're concerned that your ISP is tracking your activity, I would suggest using a VPN. Personally I use Private Internet Access, its relatively cheap. Plus there's usually promotions for them all the time from different sponsored YouTubers.

As the others said, you don't need a VPN, but chances are you're probably pirating more than just Wii U games so I'd recommend Private Internet Access. I've been using that one for almost 2 years now and it's never done me wrong.

So will this build still work with the Ryzen instead of an i5? I’m still very unsure of this case, I like it but I have no idea if it’ll all fit in such a small case. Also, the i5 has integrated GPU so I was planning on building and upgrading the GPU after a few weeks. Does the 2600x have IGPU or will I have to order GPU at the same time?

I had the same thing happen after I got flagged for seeding a TV show, after years of using torrents without any problems. Now I have a dedicated machine that serves plex, radarr and sonarr tasks, as well as other torrent things. That machine is always connected to the vpn. I use NordVPN, I found a special for 3yrs service for like $80 or something like that.

I also read that but still tried it and it works perfectly fine. Speed might be even a tiny bit faster than running the actual CD.
