Here was a post on Nextdoor with more info:
>Beavers employee here. Just want to prevent any misinformation or rumours. Suzanne's post is true. It's wonderful that Doug and Cheryl Beavers get a well-deserved retirement & could sell it to someone who will actually continue to run it as a grocery rather than bulldoze it for unaffordable condos. We are the 4th small-town grocery that this new owner has bought. Two are called Fresh Foods (Torrington WY & Gering NB) the other one kept the original name of Brush Grocery Kart. (Brush CO). We dont know if they will change the name. Of course there will be changes, but probably mostly good ones and maybe even some fun updates. I will miss the Beavers family and at the same time I look forward to seeing the store evolve.
Holy cow! Those are amazing! A real piece of history that wouldn't else exist if it wasn't for these! Also, maybe download the Google PhotoScan App? That takes 4 pictures for each one, and stitches them together for a higher quality capture. That's how I backed up all my albums, works a charm!
/r/coloradohikers is a good resource. Beyond Horsetooth and Greyrock which are both fantastic, further into Poudre Canyon behind the CSU mountain campus there's a hike called Emmaline Lake that's a step up in length and difficulty from the other local hikes but ridiculously beautiful once the meadow beneath it thaws sometime in July. On par with some of the hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park.
I'm new'ish to FoCo, so figured I had to google it. Came across this. https://www.groupon.com/biz/fort-collins/the-book-ranch

Democracy, at least the modern conception of it, is still very young, and in the US, still extremely limited. We have some democratic structures, but they are not the dominant forms of our political or economic system (they're not even very present at all in the economy).
We have a constitution that was designed to suppress democracy in the form of the senate, the judicial branch, the president, and the representative system of democracy itself. The most comprehensive history of the creation of the US constitution, The Framer's Coup, is a compelling account of how our constitution was reactionary backlash against democracy (if you're interested).
Since then it's been a long road to work towards democracy in the US. First it was just land owning Christian white men, but mass movements have gradually extended suffrage to those who don't own land, blacks, women, etc. We're still suffering under the suppressive forces of the senate, the judiciary branch, etc. (which is how the GOP asserts its power), and as a result, the bottom 90% income earners in the nation aren't democratically represented in the US.
So, we have a very long way to go before we can truly claim to be a democratic nation. We're on that path, and we have been for centuries, but we're behind many other nations in that regard. It used to be that about 1% of the nation was represented by the democratic process in the US and now it's about 10%, and so I chose the term "fetal" to describe where we still are.
Fabulous hike! I tackled this one for the first time last fall with my dad and we had an awesome time of it.
If you're looking for more, Horsetooth Mountain and Greyrock are personal favorites of mine.
If you're not a student, it's really not active. All our LGBT friends moved away after college, and sometimes it feels like we're the only queer couple in town. There's some groups on MeetUp.com.
I see queer couples around town occiasionally, but like us, they're by themselves doing radical gay agenda things like getting groceries, taking a walk, or hanging out on a brewery patio.
Any other LGBT couples out there who would like to do some board games, movie, grab a beer, go for a hike?
I grabbed this.
Covers my entire property and then some but also allows you to add mesh nodes if need be.
Do you bike? I'd suggest both. Go now and Sign up for a tour at New Belgium. They are booked for months, but they are free. Even if you don't like beer, the tour is fun and worth it.
Also, it's only 1.5 hours or so. Then bike over to Feisty Spirits: https://www.groupon.com/deals/feisty-spirits
Depending on what you're in to, you could spend the morning doing some other fun stuff. Go hiking up in RMNP and then grab a drink at the Estes Park Brewery (they have beer and liquor, but don't get the food, it's terrible). Then come back down for a couple of tours.
Just a couple ideas for you.
Looks like there are 2 different crashes around there ?...
https://www.alltrails.com/explore/recording/b-17f-bomber-crash-site-pingree-park--2
https://www.alltrails.com/explore/recording/b-17f-bomber-crash-site-crown-point--3
or..some confusion ?
Looks like they're saying B-17
For anyone else curious. If anyone would like to do the hike with someone, it sounds really neat and I'll probably have a go at it sometime next week.
edit: Right now it's more or less snowed out. People in actual hiking gear were turning back as the snow a few miles from the wreck was up to their waists. Fantastic view though.
It looks like a really low quality weld to me that was a cold joint. But I'm no expert.
The easy - but not professional - way to fix this would be a tube of JB Weld from any of the home improvement stores - or from Amazon. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/J-B-Weld-8265S-Original-Reinforced/dp/B0006O1ICE
So the key to this stuff is to rough up the area with a metal file or with sandpaper, then clean it off really well with rubbing alcohol, then follow the precise directions on mixing it, then apply lots of it and then to let it set for at least half a day if not a full 24 hours. If you apply liberally around the entire base, it should - in my extensive experience - be strong enough to hold that table leg in place at least as well as the rather flimsy welds that it currently has.
You could also use plumbing solder and a blow torch but I wouldn't recommend this unless you are good at plumbing solder and blow torches. There's a bit of a trick to it and it takes practice and you need the correct flux. But this would also work - probably. But I wouldn't recommend this. I'd do JB-Weld or a real welding shop.
The professional way to fix it is to take it to a metal shop and have them re-weld it. It will be a cheap fix - but definitely more expensive than a pack of JB Weld - and will be better than new. Some place like this: http://www.weldandfab.com/ I don't have any experience with Weld and Fab, but based on my metal work experience in the past on my father's farm, they would charge less than $50.
The best selection on the Front Range is Performance Cycle Of Colorado in Centennial…it’s far but worth the trip. Northern Colorado Powersports is local but they carry Shoei, and then Honda, Yamaha/Indian, and Tri-City are all on the other side of the highway but each have a limited selection.
I could never fit into an Arai, but Shoei fits my freak head best and the GT-Air / RF-1200 are great helmets. If you have a similar head shape then have a look at a few GT-Air helmets on Amazon for the killer price of $335 + ~$11 shipping from Motorhelmets (regular price ~$670). I picked up the last large Dauntless TC-11 but there's a few other styles/sizes if you search such as:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015INFVXY/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Motorhelmets is an authorized Shoei dealer so they aren't grey market and I called them up and they aren't used or anything like that either. The descriptions say they are 2015 models so I assume they are blowing out older, less popular helmets at the end of the season. Shoei advises a shelf-life of 7 years or 5 years of use. My current GT Air is about 4 years old of moderate use and is just starting to get ratty.
Message me an address and I can apparently have one delivered to you tomorrow. Get that job!

it is a thing, that apple invented to prevent users from servicing their devices, secondary source. So yea .. like i said.
I have a feeling that most people who can, will be playing it.
...or trying not to get fired.
Edit: Or there is always this option or this one.
You should seriously consider taking it off your car. Those stickers are absolutely racist dogwhistles, whether you realize it or not.
The very phrase is meant to delegitimize the BLM movement by equating career choice with race, by implying that blue lives aren't valued, and that there are legitimate threats to police lives.
You want to show support for the police? It's your right and your speech. But "Blue Lives Matter" does not mean what you think it does. Try something less adversarial like this: https://www.amazon.com/ProSticker-306-Patriot-Protect-Support/dp/B01CX2XOJG

There's at least one!
If you've got an Android device, Ham Test Prep is the app I used to study for the exams (Tech and General). It'll randomly generate exams from current question pools, then let you know how you did. It also keeps track of your performance on individual areas of study and questions, so you can work on what you're bad at.
Good luck!
THIS Is the best route in my opinion. It is the fastest and most scenic as well but I'm on the west side of town. If you are closer to 25 then it is worth taking the interstate. Pretty much anywhere else in town though and it isn't worth backtracking. Taking Hover through Longmont instead of staying on 287 makes a HUGE difference. The loveland route through Taft to meet up with 287 helps but isn't the same level of benefit.
I moved here in August and was wondering the same thing. I'm also a previously toured musician. Used to play guitar in a progressive pop-punk band. Started when I was 13 and I am now 23. Here's a little taste of what I used to do https://soundcloud.com/rumhamsham/save-us-hollywood-pittsburgh
I'm pretty sure this isn't what you're looking for, but this works out to be around that price: http://www.costco.com/24-Hour-Fitness-2-year-ALL-CLUB-SPORT-Membership-E-Certificate.product.100226471.html
I knew a kid in high school whose mom was on Geraldo or some other similar show for the donut shop. She had a VHS of the episode but I never was able to see it. She claims that she didn't work there. The owner was a friend and couldn't get any of the actual girls to appear on the show so she was doing him a favor. We thought that was bullshit because she definitely seemed like a woman who would have worked in a topless donut shop.
EDIT: It was Geraldo. I couldn't find the video online. However, I was able to find an old newspaper article here.
>I've never filled out a multi-page rental agreement to stay in a hotel.
That's because of regulation. In a well-regulated industry, those type of agreements aren't necessary.
>We currently have building codes. And parking codes. And waste codes. And noise codes. And zoning. Everyone here keeps repeating the same thing over and over again - "We can't enforce the current laws, so we need more laws!"
Uhh, I never said that. I would much rather live in a place with too many codes than too few. You may think that we have too many "codes," but if you want to see what happens without them, I would encourage you to visit a third world country.
>Question: Why would AirBnB be responsible for insurance claims on a renter? If I rent a bedroom out and the person trashes it, it's going to court and/or I'm having them arrested for arson or grand theft or whatnot.
Dude.. you looking at it wrong. Everything we missile guys do can translate to civilian life. Do you have a Linkdn setup?
Feel free to add me and we'll talk https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=288587575&trk=nav_responsive_tab_profile
EDIT: Should mention I had 9 year 2M0X1 experience, including cruise missiles, ICBMs, and Comm. Also rockin the CCAF (of which, our electronics one is actually useful believe it or not).
Must have been a bug in whatever station you're linked to. The airport weather station was about the same. Could've been the station was too close to concrete radiating extra heat
Its been gusting around 40 or even 50 in the foothills most of the day. This is pretty normal. Usually a couple of these events per year, most often in the Winter half of the calendar. Windy has a great visualization of it https://www.windy.com/?40.200,-103.596,7
Found this much:
"These pictures are taken from the air, not from orbit, so they’re sharper..."
As far as I know, the FAA generally still doesn't allow drones in US airspace, so I'd assume they utilized a surveying company with helicopters or something like that.
I haven't done an overnight here, but Lower Dadd Gulch may be worth checking out. It's one of my favorite trails. Plenty of spots to camp, plenty of water, and it's only about an hour away.
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/lower-dadd-gulch-trail
Second-ing this. I was an avid Ingress player for awhile. Verizon gave me data coverage nearly everywhere, including up on the mountains. My data coverage was absolutely insane...
...except for near the Target by Harmony and Zeigler. Nothing seems to reach that dead spot.

easy setup, amazing coverage

Meetup.com is great for finding friends, I just made me own group on there and our first event last night was fantastic. Check it out and find some groups of people who have the same interests as you :)
What's wrong with a SQL path!?
There are some local tech meetups, mostly geared towards development. Check out meetup.com, you'll find something you're interested in. I'm sure other folks from other local areas will post too. I believe Madwire does meetups and things and look for programmers.
I used my phone (a Pixel 5) with the stock camera app on 10x time lapse for this video. I used this mount to hold it on my handelbars, along with a phone clamp that looks like this (which I didn't need to buy because I had one already from something else). I also just got into doing this so I have no idea if my setup is the best one!
If you're walking with your friend, could you carry a folding chair like this so they could take a break anywhere? (Not promoting Amazon, just the first example I could find.) If you don't already own one, they're really handy.
To address your question directly, Old Town has lots of places to rest your feet. There are also sections of the Poudre trail with benches (but maybe spaced too far).
Mint literally uses tmobile network, completely. So, whatever works on tmobile, works on mint but lower price (and priority on busy towers).
If you want to do a deep research, there is an app for android (Called opensignal) Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.staircase3.opensignal
Is literally maintained by users, so the map will show REAL signal coverage for every different company.
Also sometimes you got signal but there is only one tower serving 1k users so you barely send a message that requires internet (whatsapp, fb, etc)
I'm with you, I hate this shit. If I'm going to be outside for a while I grab a fly fishing spf hoodie, get it all wet, and put it on. They hold water well and the evaporative effect is like walking around in air conditioning for a while. Mine are Columbia/Orvis brands but it looks like Amazon has some other options for much cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/Willit-Protection-Hoodie-T-Shirt-Sleeve/dp/B07S24QM35/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=Sun+Hoodie+Fishing&qid=1659878854&sr=8-8
Valve Core Tool - So, there's this tool you can buy, which removes the valve core of a tire. Doesn't destroy the tire, but will definitely not only make it flat, but also make it hard to reinflate. It's easy to use 4 times. Maybe take a look.
I've been using these for a while and I really like them.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XNQV81H/
They're not SUPER cheap but they don't break and they don't have holes. We put them in a little trash can with a lid and they fill up a little less than daily. Runs me less than $20/year.
I have tried dog poop bags too but the scoop doesn't fit well in them and they don't fit in the bin we have. Produce bags as mentioned might be a good option but I haven't tried them and it seems like they might be flimsy.
I use these bags. They are good at keeping the stink in. https://www.amazon.com/BOS-Amazing-Sealing-Litter-Disposal/dp/B06Y3TSCVW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=cat+litter+bags&qid=1653792180&sr=8-3
https://www.amazon.com/CoyoteVest-SpikeVest-Reflective-Accessories-Fluorescent/dp/B09BZZC3WZ
Unfortunately they don't make an 80lb dog version that would ward off other dog attacks which is what I was originally looking for. For small dogs it's pricey but there is a special spike-covered vest which deters bird/mammal attacks. You could probably hack together a similar system pretty easily using existing dog clothes. One of the accessories is a bunch of plastic straws that look like the bird wire they put on buildings.
My cat walked on a harness well as a kitten, but when she got older I couldn't get her to wear the harness and walk on a leash anymore.
So instead I got a cat stroller like this one. I'm sure it's crazy to see someone push it, but at least it gives them outside time, and allows you to take them to many different outdoor places to keep them entertained.
I do love a little guerrilla urbanism.
I've seen people surreptitiously add these. Don't drill them in though, unless you're prepared to pay a lot to remove them.
This stuff has very controlled burst like a squirt gun. Had to use once and worked well from about 8-10 feet away. High wind day not so great...

I used to play in a couple bands that were pop punk/hardcore. I play guitar, started when I was 13 and I'm now 21. Here are some links of what I used to play. https://soundcloud.com/waffleirony/end-of-the-road https://soundcloud.com/waffleirony/this-is-what-i-call-a-getaway I'm definitely getting into more ambient stuff lately.
Right on dude. I just uploaded a couple of tracks from an old band of mine: https://soundcloud.com/user870978223
Hit me up if you're ever looking to do anything I'm always down to kick it like tae bo.
Definitely slip-on spikes, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TOYEBTY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They work well for walking too, like the other Wed-Thu when everything was a sheet of ice.
One other nice aspect of slip-on spikes is you can remove them and carry them while running. I'll sometimes wear them for the slippery part of the run over to the bike trail, pull them off for the cleared trail, then put them back on for the last leg home.
Similar to that, Bunce School Road is a really fun beginner's 4x4 trail in Ward and has a small hike to get to the T-33 crash site
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/bunce-school-road-ironclads-and-plane-crash-4x4-trails
There's a walled-in roller hockey rink on the south side of Moby. It seems to be open access, or more accurately, I've never been hassled when skating if there's no official games going on.
I hope this is useful.
>I'm a working class guy with different priorities than politics, however important they are.
This is why you should be political. If you don't want to participate in political subreddits and don't want the bland establishment narrative that the big three television channels provide, branch out to podcasts. Player.fm's politics section is a great collection of political podcasts from all stripes. From those I'd recommend subscribing to:
On the left since you said you voted for Jill Stein:
Chapo Trap House, Rev Left Radio, The Skepticrat, Jacobin Radio, The Dig, The Majority Report, Dead Pundits Society, The Antifada, Democracy Now
Centre-left:
The Rachel Maddow Show, Abe Lincoln's Tophat, Trumpcast, Colorado Matters
Issues focus:
The Weeds, Don't Worry About the Government, My History Can Beat Up Your Politics, Economic Update with Richard Wolff, This is Hell, Stay Tuned with Preet
Most of those are about the length of your daily commute or long enough for winding down at night. You get a lot of information and perspective in a much calmer format than reddit comment threads. The more informed you are, the better you can advocate for your worldview and the better you leave the world for your children.
> We got out of the gym kick when quarantine happened
you know COVID still going strong, right? I have a membership to Anytime Fitness but no one there wears a fucking mask so I quit going until we get back into the orange at least.
Log into your icloud, change your password, been a while since I have been on that, but I think you get options to lock the iPad and or erase it if it gets connected to wifi. If not go here?
You may want to reach out to any progressive groups in the area on meetup.com? Also, Fort Collins for Progress on Twitter. I don't have Facebook but I'm sure there are lots of NoCo progressive groups in the area that would like to know about this.
I've RSVP'd. Let me know what you need, and maybe make a sign up list of things for people to bring if they can volunteer to do that?

Let me know
Snow chains? I happen to have a brand new set from SSD (these: https://www.amazon.com/Security-Chain-SZ329-Passenger-Traction/dp/B002KQI540) I need to sell bc they didn’t fit my tires. Willing to negotiate on price. Pm if you’d be interested!
Kent Haruf wrote several books. Plainsong is one of them and not necessarily the first in the series.
A Lady's Life in the Rocky Mountains by Isabella Bird. A true story about an adventurous woman traveler in the mid 1800s. Fort Collins, Estes Park, Greeley and Cheyenne are all featured. Let's just say, she road broncos up and down the front range and climbed Longs Peak in a dress. 10/10. You can buy a copy at Firehouse Books or here:
A Lady's Life in the Rocky Mountains https://www.amazon.com/dp/1440442347/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_4N8EKK0FJNFHAQHX4TQJ
"The Last Good Kiss" is considered a one of the hard-boiled crime novels. Has some Ft Collins in it.
One place to start is looking them up on Abe Books and seeing what they sell for. When I worked in a bookstore, that's where we'd find out of print books or older editions of things.
https://www.youneedabudget.com/ there is always this, but honestly you can create a budget without help, you are plenty aware of your impulsive habits. Perhaps carrying cash only will help? If you go somewhere you typically overspend at, don't carry that much money with you. Carry the ideal amount you plan on spending.
Creedmore Lake is one of the further ones and the road to it is kind of sketchy (though I did it in a Honda Fit), but I really like it. There are campsites along that trail and beyond it, and the lake itself is fantastic.
Cool we probably wont start that class until the next session begins (January 13) but your welcome to join in with us. If you're interested in design here is an interesting class on User Experence (UX) design : https://www.udacity.com/course/ux-design-for-mobile-developers--ud849
Some other resources:
http://learnpythonthehardway.org/ I am about halfway through this course, and I like the author's approach. He is very upfront and clear about programming basics.
https://www.coursera.org/course/interactivepython This class starts in a few months, but it is free. There are other programming language classes on here, also for free.
I don't know if it's still available, but the other day this was posted on Nextdoor:
><strong>Free mulch on Park St.</strong> Large pile of spruce tree mulch in street in front of our house 221 Park St. Help yourself!
We have a Facebook page ... which hasn't been updated in a while, but if you want to share it with people, that would be great.
The only thing I'm really hoping for at this point, is finding like-minded people full of techie-ideas. Even if that just means meeting for beers, etc once a month and discussing different projects we wanna do,.... or writing up a list of equipment people would want access to.
In the past, I considered making a Meetup.com group and having a monthly meeting .. .maybe that would be a good thing to do to get the ball rolling.
I also wanted to throw this out there for anyone who needs a low cost dress. I saw an article on this amazon dress that everyone loved and felt amazing in and I bought it when I was 2 sizes larger than I am now and I never wore anything this close-fitting and I felt stunning. It's super flattering and pretty low cost and I got compliments all night at a super fancy dinner in Denver where pretty much everyone else was wearing designer stuff I could never afford. Don't be intimidated by it, it's made so it's flattering on everyone and very comfy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QN2K9XN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1
I've done some Arduino stuff before. Nothing wearable, but lights are lights.
> I used alligator clips to do the wiring > but I don't know how to connect them together and then to a microcontroller.
Look into some breadboard and jumper wires to do the prototyping. Somewhat more durable than alligator clips and easier to rearrange on the fly.
> I just don't understand if I need a resistor, what power I need, if I can connect 5 or 20 leds to the controller
It sounds like you might be putting the cart before the horse. You have 3 variables in that line that all tug at one another. What's your end goal?
Define what it is you want to build, then orient your research to solving the problems to building that. What are you ultimately trying to build here?
Here are some groupon deals that I found. Looks like you can get one for about $40 from a few different places.
Thank you!!!

Awesome! I was planning on Grey rock which is a bit more grueling than Horsetooth rock, you cool with that?
I was planning on hitting the trail before 7:00, we could meet there or I could drive as many as 3 other people in my little Passat.
Also paging /u/TygerPanzy we now have a group of three including you!
According to Grubhub
basic bean and cheese burrito is $5.59
"World Famous Potato Burrito" is $6.79
A Big Mac meal $5.99
foot long Subway Club sandwich $7.99
Taco Bell bean burrito $1.19
My money is on Big City regardless of any "upcarge", I think it's reasonable for the culinary extravaganza.

Since I answered you last, I found a pupuseria in Greeley. I cannot attest to the food, but the reviews are good.
Also, I'd call, but Vedauwoo is a super cool place, and this site lists it as accessible: https://roadtrippers.com/us/buford-wy/camping-rv/vedauwoo-campground?lng=-105.4078574377736&lat=41.15392784913584&z=4

BTW... there's some free skywatching software you can use to see where the moon and the sun will be in the sky tomorrow.
It's called Stellarium.
From where I am in Durango, it looks as if the sun will be chasing the moon all day long until it finally catches up with it in the late afternoon.
Just read note on Nextdoor.com next to picture that looked very similar
My cat chased it off...it ran towards Roger's Park (Laurel entrance) This cat is sitting on our fence and seems very scared. Mulberry and Tyler
Certain ones are. Charities for schools are okay, but fishy things like meat sales are not. You would have to give them your information before hand.

I’ve been using these tubes for a couple years with no issues. When it’s not the summer you can buy them for like $25.
Even at $50 it’s probably a better option than renting, especially if you wanna go tubing more than once.
It was this one. The reviews on it are mixed but I think that is just people that don't know how to use something like it.
I put it on with a metal hammer, I think it was a 2lb mini sledge hammer. You need to set it really well or it will never work. Then I used a large wrench with a 4ft breaker bar. As I was trying to pop it free I kept tapping the extractor with the hammer or it would slip off. It seems complicated but it was quite easy. Then I used my bench vise to get the extractor off the lug nut, that was probably the most difficult part of the whole thing. It completely destroys the lug nut but that is to be expected.
I called all the tire shops and none of them could take it off with any kind of kit. They all wanted to try drilling or cutting it off and then replacing the stud. It did not give me confidence and it was going to be a few hundred dollars to try.
Amazon has these for cheap. I keep them in my car and backpack filled with iso - they’re really handy. If you’re planning on keeping one for removing the adhesive, try and use 91% for that purpose. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AUKO6KE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_CVS1KS6QMZF2FKRJJ34J
You really should be asking two questions: what will it take to bring the space up to temperature in a reasonable amount of time, and what would it take to keep it there?
My garage shop is insulated. I have an indoor-safe propane heater capable of 18,000 BTU (equivalent to about 4 120V heaters) that will bring the space up to temperature in a reasonable amount of time. After that, I maintain the temperature with a single electric heater. I'm assuming you won't be heating the space 24/7; you probably would want a propane heater for mornings like today.
For your size space, a fan-less electric heater would probably be enough maintain the temperature; I find fan noise objectionable in an office environment. Maybe you even splurge on an 120V electric baseboard heater that you could control with a wall-mounted thermostat for consistency.
Did I see on next door you found him?? So happy for you!
I have this harness for my dogs and they’re impossible to wriggle out of. Even a little chihuahua we fostered :)
I run before 7:00am mostly on the Poudre and Spring trails. The trails are almost always plowed before the sun comes up - like this morning, they were already cleared of the snowfall last night.
I'd also recommend getting a set of slip-on traction spikes, like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TOYEBTY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I've never fallen on ice or snow while running in these. They also don't feel awkward on bare concrete for when you reach the plowed bike trails.
Mounted this bad boy in my attic. Pointed it North. We pick up all the Denver stations and a few Cheyenne ones (FOX and CBS) which is helpful in football season if the signal gets wonky (which it will during afternoon games).
I am in wellington and get everything but channel 7, which I think might be the one you want. I used to get it, but haven't lately after i rescanned channels. If I messed around with the direction, I might be able to find it again, but haven't motivated to do that yet.
I had a coworker in Fort Collins who got one and said he couldn't get anything, but I think it was user error.
You can go to TV Fool and they will show a map of what channels you can expect to receive. I think it might give advice on antennas also.
I fail to see what any of that has to do with the verifiable safety or lack thereof in the CO app that must be downloaded for Android based devices.
I renovated my garage this summer and just put in a Heat Storm wall heater which is working well for 250 sqft studio space. It's wifi connected so I can turn it on from my phone to warm up before I go out which is really nice.

The citrus degreaser stuff works really well.
Here’s an amazon link, but you can find gallon jugs of it at auto parts/hardware stores under various brand names. I soak my pieces over night and then rinse and everything is clean as a whistle.

DE should help with any Arthropods. Spray a fine dust on your plants. I just got thisthis off amazon to apply DE on my garden. DE will get into their joints and dry them out, eventually killing them.
You used to be able to rent radon measurement electronic devices from the library but it appears that you can't do that any more. You could try contacting the library.
I bought mine from Amazon. For example this one ($126) https://www.amazon.com/Corentium-Detector-Airthings-223-Lightweight/dp/B00H2VOSP8
Specifically, I'm own this one ($150) https://www.amazon.com/Safety-Siren-Series3-Radon-Detector/dp/B000CEAY64/
and tested it myself and then proceeded to lend it to friends, family and co-workers. My co-workers have it right now.
I had mine checked against a commercial-grade gear and it was within 0.1 pC/l - one of my co-workers didn't trust the number and hired an inspector to test it and the inspection came up with a number that was 0.1pC/l higher than what mine showed.
The one nice thing about buying a device to measure it is that you can try different things and see if it helps, and also get an idea about the level in your living areas and bedrooms. For myself I added a fan to the basement crawlspace and that lowered the level enough in the basement that it wasn't an issue any more.
You can use an app like Instabridge or WiFi Map to find free public Wi-Fi.
