Android only. I like the look of this https://www.hell-let-loose-calculator.com
There is of course the trello thread but I agree there’s a lack of official posts like a blog or something. There’s something on the forums every now and then but I’d personally like to hear a bit more about their progress.
I'm sorry but no there are 9 maps not 3, and the Devs are planning a lot of new content but unfortunately their aren't many of them and I don't think they have a very big budget to work with, just be patient U10 will be here soon
The 9 maps: https://www.greenmangaming.com/blog/all-hell-let-loose-maps/
If you are using the mic on the dualsense, I would increase the voice volume in game settings. Some folks don't have their mics turned up so it can be hard to hear them. I don't have any issues using Pulse headset however. HUD always on and I tweak things here and there to find the right setting for me.
Devs are currently working on aim issues as well as possible FOV sliders. Been playing since day 1 on the Closed Beta and I think the majority of us have been giving them plenty of feedback. If you find any issues or want to provide them feedback, please do. They have been really active with the players. You can provide feedback here: HLL PS5 Beta
The trello is incredibly open about their pipeline. I’ve not seen that much updated info from many alphas. You might get monthly updates, but the trello shows what is in testing what is being worked on etc. check it out
Spono just released an update on discord:
Hi @everyone smiley
Small update as I know everyone is keen to play, but can be a little frustrating without being able to use the comms as intended.
We think we have managed to finally isolate the VOIP issue and will begin internal testing on this immediately. Hopefully in 24 hrs we will have an update on if this has been resolved. If it is, we will then work hard to implement other small quality of life fixes and will let you all know when that update goes live. Meanwhile we will still keep some servers up for you to jump into for some pew pew amongst the hedgerows.
Thanks for all the constructive feedback so far. Your suggestions are influencing the development of this game, so keep em coming!
Remember you can checkout what is currently being worked on here https://trello.com/b/DsJICxLS/hll-community-closed-alpha
Cheers on behalf of the Black Matter Team!
Find a squad that talks. If they don't after you initiate Convo, then find another. Plenty of players out there that knows what they are doing and talk. So ask questions. If you have a squad leader asking for something and you don't understand, ask them to clarify.
I started day 1 of closed beta. It took me a couple days to start getting the hang of things. Especially seeing the enemy and understanding the map. There's been plenty of feedback on how to make it better for console, and if you have any of your own please check out their discord and fill out this form HLL PS5 Feedback
The warm-up before the match starts is a great time to ask questions. Hop a ride in the truck and talk to your squad. For the love of all, it's not the time to just kill your teammates.
I'm still learning, and I learn new stuff every day playing. Pick a role and stick with it. Sit back and just look for enemies. It's a major adjustment period, and I believe that's the point. Realistic as possible.
As others mentioned, a lot of info online too. Some good guides, videos etc.
It's not a game made to rack up kills...Takes some adjusting to the notion that even though I see them, a shot right now isn't ideal. Ping the enemy location and Talk Talk Talk.
Enjoy the Beta, don't give up on it.
Cheers!
I've checked safely, it's just regular spam of a blog.
Couple tools: http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/hellletlooseplay.com/ scans for virus https://www.browserling.com/ allows you 3 min session on a remote browser
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flutter.app.artillery_let_loose This is a quick update I added to make Russian artillery work, I'm gonna add a back button / switcher and probably some more improvements in the future. Thanks for the support and as always if you have any comments / suggestions feel free to let me know. Thanks!
You don´t even have manually clear the input field after hitting calculate.
Not sure what your budget would be, but I use an older MSI gaming laptop, and the game runs almost perfectly at medium to epic settings (depends on category). A PC with similar specs should run it fine, you might be able to find something a little cheaper.
Mine is similar to this, but an older model: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0843JCV17/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_JgrfFbT2PNA55
Or read a book. Shit, if you even read your own comment it shows that Belgium only sent troops to protect the white civilians. If you actually read that thread you'd see that the other UN members were opposed to providing support to the Belgian-backed secessionists and eventually even intervened to block and engage them. The only reason the US ended up involved on the behalf of the secessionists was because after they didn't want to back up the rebel factions those factions sought and received aid from the Communist bloc.
Though you did remind me that if we get any Free French forces for the Paris Liberation phase, we should probably get some Senegalese representation.
If you want a solid yet affordable headset, check out the HyperX Cloud Stinger.
They're very comfortable and I've never had anyone complain about my mic quality.
https://trello.com/b/DsJICxLS/hll-community-closed-alpha
The issues mentioned have been part of the alpha since the beginning, but the link will show you that the blurry GFX is a high priority in the to do list and the bindings are ready for wide testing.
Yep, you can find it right here:
It's a brilliant app, and a must have for arty players
>1) Use an Artillery Calculator.
This app is also highly recommended if you have Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=appinventor.ai_florian_heilinger.HLL_Artillery_Calculator_RC1
Was it a Russian map or a normal map?
The reason I ask is because the Russian map has a completely different artillery mode , and that completely threw me the first time I played it, causing lots of teamkills
Also if you haven't already download this:. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=appinventor.ai_florian_heilinger.HLL_Artillery_Calculator_RC1
It's incredibly accurate and effective, highly recommended for artillery
Darn this got me intrigued with hosting a game server on one of my dedis. I typically use https://linuxgsm.com/ but don't see HLL listed here. After a bit more research it turns out dedicated servers are not allowed. I suppose this helps the developers to gather analytics easier if they're from specific sources but that sure is a bummer.
I got a lot of hours in PS (6k) and only a few on HLL (150). What I don't understand in HLL is the ballistics. In PS you can range your weapon, you must lead target if they are moving etc. It seems that in HLL you fire a laser gun that has no drop and no travel time for the bullet. For instance I can shoot a guy out of a moving truck from 800m away in PS because I can range my gun and know the bullet speed. https://medal.tv/games/post-scriptum/clips/4wNZeSf0TseBu/spok?invite=cr-MSxWSjksMTgyNzY3NDks
But I would never be able to do that in HLL because I got no clue where the hold over is. And for some reason I can't range my gun at all. This is really driving me nuts xD.
This is Brilliant Replace the numbers at M = #### with the range in meters for what you want to hit and it calculates the mils at R = ####
Quick Reference Sheet Gives the range in meters and mils for all the capture points (WiP still missing most of SMDM
I have indeed hidden all products. This is a precautionary and temporary measure, I am afraid that the shop might affect the intellectual property of the creators of HLL and, until I am sure, I prefer to be cautious.
Since my beginnings as an illustrator I have been very conscious about respecting the rights of creators, I had more and more products and the shop is just a hobby, so it is not a problem.

2) Usually about 10 servers at capacity with another 5 somewhat populated. I never have to wait more than a few minutes to find a game.
3) Based on realism so not like COD, GTA, etc... But pretty easy I'd say.
4) Weapons are role based as they should be. An officer running off to snipe isn't very effective.
5) https://www.greenmangaming.com/blog/hell-let-loose-everything-you-need-to-know/
6) frag and smoke
7) game strives for balance. A tiger tank ia WAY stronger than a Sherman as it was in real life, but you get more Shermans.
Try a different game, there are free to play FPS games on steam like CS:go you can run and see if similar artifacts show up
Check for game ready GPU drivers
Maybe run a stress test on your hardware, I use Hirens - https://www.hirensbootcd.org/
I'd still recommend Sandstorm man, it's a phenomenal game and is a good 'tactical / realistic Call of Duty that's actually fun' to be the Starsky to Hell Let Loose's 'tactical / realistic WW2 Battlefield that's actually fun' Hutch. They're both very different kinds of games and neither could replace each other.

Here's my desktop homie, and keep in mind I actively play ALL of these tactical FPS, MILSIM and survival FPS games. Focus on the top center. Also keep in mind games like Tannenberg, Verdun, Predator Hunting Grounds and a few others are there too, my OCD just won't let me put down shortcut rows until they even out. I like my desktop organized and neat.

So never tell yourself you can't play two games at the same time, I'm juggling like 50.
Because of ads like this, I would never use Wondershare Filmora.
For OP: Thank you for sharing, if you are looking for suggestions on other tools to use to make videos. Try Kdenlive.org, it's free, without any ads or banners. Works well for me!
Happy Holidays!
My friend, you could have just used Google. ;)

I'm sure there is more.

Id use NordVPN if you dont mind paying! I think there is a sale om roght now but Id just buy it for a month to make sure it works for you.
I use it to play League because my ISP is really inefficient.
I wonder if it's possible to run EAC native and the game on Wine/Proton and they communicate through IPC with each other (maybe over a wrapper). But I guess that by design.
Btw there is a Github issue in the Proton repository for the game: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/2901
Jeah the front Hull is definately modeled right. However following war trials performed on captured panthers it was concluded that the turret was also almost impenetrable from the front at combat ranges for the guns we have in game.
https://worldoftanks.com/en/news/chieftain/chieftains-hatch-us-guns-vs-german-armour-part-1/
This is a very interesting read.
This actually sounds like a CPU bottleneck and might actually be one considering the game's requirements. According to your last post the GPU has less and less to do but fails to deliver more fps -> always points to CPU limits, usually one or two cores are maxed (that's why usage overall is not 100%).
2) i dont think you need any extra software to record both the game and discord you should just be able to record all audio outputs, but then i use voicemeter banana to make my mic sound better and that mixes my outputs - then using shadowplay record the output from that and then my voice on a separate track so i can balance my volume to everyone elses.
3) the start of the match is the MOST important time for building garrisons, you were the most ahead squad so you should have set up a garrison on the way for your team to use to spawn at so they dont have to run from HQ and so if anything happens to you and your OP you dont have to run back from HQ.
5) Shotcut and DaVinci resolve are both free, i have used shotcut lightly edit a lot of videos although its prone to crashing from time to time, DaVinci is also very good but i found it harder to use as i already had some experience in vegas I might try it again though because it rendered faster than shotcut.
6) Its great that you built 2 garrisons but you can have up to 8 garrisons up at a time and they are soooo important. If the enemy built a garrison - all those people you killed just respawn like nothing happened and if you died without building one then they just take all that ground back for free as you are walking it back in.
On the Discord there is a Map-bugs channel if you encounter something screenshot the bug and the location on the map and post it there. https://discord.com/invite/6VNHJ2t
The game nor Steam has the ability to do that IIRC. If you don't want to deal with switching the primary displays yourself each time, just create a keyboard shortcut that does it for you. With DisplayFusion you can create 2 profiles and assign a hotkey to each profile. So you can't swap the primary displays without too much hassle.
I agree, there should be some kind of demo, or at least free weekend.
For some time there was ( and still is ) something called EmuTarkov but they added anti-piracy measures to "not be accused of piracy" which effectively prevent anyone without programming knowledge to test it out.
And yes, tarkov is quite expensive AND this game punishes you for not playing/knowing about its mechanics, the audience is pretty small, and those retards at BattleStateGames made the game even less new-player-friendly recently.
LOL, ah yes. The rise of the economy on the backs of the proletariat. That's not an American reactionary reply, that's the bloody truth.
You may defend the USSR, a person can make a case, but you haven't.
And by the way, the Soviet Union was poorly supplied and would have collapsed without allied help. While it helps to look at the hardware supplied by the allies, what's lost in history is the CCCP couldn't feed its wartime population and again depend on the allies.
There you go, read a book.

I am one of the devs for the already mentioned HLL Artillery Calculator App on the google play store.
there are currently two things holding us back from porting our app to the apple eco system. one being the lack of necessary tools to do so (which could change in the rather near future, due to MIT actively developing these) and the second being the absurdly high cost for distributing apps via their store to apple devices.
for comparison, distributing our app cost us a one-time-payment of € 25,- for setting up the dev account in the google play store, and that's it (not taking into account the time cost developing the app, of course). if we are to release it for apple devices too, we'd need to add around € 100,- to that - anually.
we simply cannot afford this, since we do not charge for our app nor do we run ads in it. so unfortunately for you and all the other apple folks out there, it's extremely unlikely our app will ever be made available for your eco system.
I do hope though that someone else will develop one, since I too agree that an app is just nicer to use than a web application on mobile.

I use a $600-700 MSI gaming laptop with external SSD and it runs the game fine at 30-60fps on med-high settings.
The Acer laptops have similar specs and tend to be about $100 less. I have a gtx 1050 and 8gb RAM, FYI.
Similar to this (you can find it for less):

Fair enough then you can get decent headsets for like half their retail price on things like facebook marketplace I personally have just bought a cheap-ish desk mic for myself (£120) and it's perfect for what I use it for discord and playing games like HLL.

Port forwarding is unique to each router (as far as configuration), however here is a general guide to it:

Running on SSD simply means purchasing an external SSD hard drive, and downloading your games to it. SSDs vary and your PC may not be equipped to handle an SSD at optimal speed. I use this one:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078STRHBX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_WC1hFbN7K5S4W
However you will need a USB type C port on your PC for best performance.

That's the best bang for the buck.... Don't get a gtx 1060 with only 3gb of ram you will regret it....
