While NR2003's built in mapping is limited, you can use something like JoyToKey to map your wheel buttons to key presses any way you like.
(By the way, this works great for iRacing too and lets you map things like one button to toggle between two specific black boxes, etc.)
Click here, Bink Download (archive.org) Download "The RAD Video Tools", install. Find a video you want to convert (preferably 640x480), run RAD Video Tools, browse to the video you want to convert, then click the "Bink It!" button on the bottom left corner, dont touch the settings (I didnt need to at least), and click "Bink" on the right side. Should output a bik file. Make sure it's named intro.bik and replace the one in your NR2003 folder.
I would suggest Windowed Borderless Gaming. It basically makes a game in windowed mode into a "fake fullscreen" otherwise known as a borderless window. I use it for almost all of my games. Let me know if you need any help with it.
If you're wondering what the old is, well the game obvously. But also the old wheel I have. It's a Microsoft Sidewinder that was apparently first released in 1999. The new is pretty self-explanatory.
If you're wondering how I got the game to span across both screens, I used a program called Windowed Borderless Gaming. It's a pretty useful program, especially if you have multiple monitors.
Well since this is (sorta) in my scope, I decided to give it a go.
So far I have managed to get 47 cars to load so it IS possible to get more than 43 cars, however there seems to be another limit in place I haven't found yet that limits it to 47.
http://screencloud.net/v/qnVd Value set as
http://screencloud.net/v/ceWW 47 cars ingame
The track is set to a max 80 starters with 80 start positions and the roster has 82 cars active. If anyone who knows more about what might be limiting it that would be helpful.
Logitech Z333. Not the best sound system by any means, but it's got some decent bass and is somewhat small making it easy to configure with my rig. Comes with a wired volume control knob making it easy to control the volume, and the knob has an aux as well making it easy to hook my phone up and play music from it. The volume knob I shuffled my rig around not long ago and moved the bass knob on the back and keep forgetting to readjust it.
I always just wore a headset prior, but I got it because I didn't want to wear headphones if I was just watching a video or something since none of the monitors output sound, but once I got it I never stopped using it. Best $70 I spent on my rig.
Sorry to say this, but due to lack of your interest and my time, I am going to have to discontinue the league. If anyone wants to retrieve their car, here they are: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/pwddk90cykc92vr,utdvi2p0spi4o32,f9ic971dq6ch5ji,utdvi2p0spi4o32/shared
I think you should include details, URLs in your posts so others can go read about whatever you're referring to directly instead of starting from scratch.
In a different fork, ya all should look into IFTTT app, IfThatThenThis, it allows endless possibilities of data gathering & notifications of posts you would be interested in, among all sorts of other adjustments to your environment, online & in home... https://ifttt.com/
Fake news, let me tell you why though.
It's not "illegal" to use someone else's account on iRacing. Is it against their sporting code? Absolutely. But the sporting code is just a rule book for a game. For example, if you throw a ball for someone else when out bowling, you're kind of a wanker and if it's a competitive match your team will be DQ'd, but can the owners of the bowling alley call the cops on you? No.
Devs could in theory try and take me to court, but here is why nobody ever did.
1) Court costs money 2) Court is time consuming 3) Your case has to be air tight.
Let's say Codemasters sues me for "libel" because I gave DiRT 4 a bad review, and then Codemasters accused SMS of paying me off to say bad things about it.
I would walk in with a print-out of my F1 2017 review, a game also made by Codemasters, and explain how I gave it our Game of the Year award, so to accuse me of bias towards one company is pretty absurd. Then, for additional exhibits, I'd print out the hundreds of DiRT 4 steam reviews where people also mentioned the game was a let-down.
Now everyone's spent a bunch of money and wasted a lot of time on a case that was absolutely ridiculous and got disproven in 10 seconds. And now Codemasters has to deal with the bad press of suing a reviewer.
Because that's what happened last time a dev tried that.
Repeat ad nauseam for all devs.
1: not that I know of.
2: look up JoyToKey, lets you program macros to controller buttons
3: a lot of websites have season files, in fact most of the NR2003 modding sites I know of have some, it's worth looking around for them
4: there are definitely online leagues out there, I've never been an online racer but I hear about leagues a lot
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/hamachi/
There was a fuck up with my network drivers once with Hamachi and for fuck sakes I could not fix it. In order to avoid any of that follow these instructions.... Download OLD VERSION OF HAMACHI. Like as old as you can .... :) 2009 2010 . Install it. Then let it auto update to newest version ... or not... it will work either way. Just do not start with the newest install. Just an extra 2 cents
This was being worked on, but the project seems dead now. No updates in months. I hope he comes back to finish it, because it would be awesome!
I'd love to imagine playing a NASCAR game in the future with BeamNG style damage.
no no no OP meant an SD card not an SSD. this is an SD card.
Finding a quality wheel under $100 is hard. Most good wheels are $250+. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZ3AEFP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_EJ8DFbT4P8AY7 This wheel is a little over 100 and can be used for NR2003 and Nascar heat. (with you needing to select the respective console version this is PS4 version). Sometimes you can find a good deal on wheels but they tend to sell out quick.
Hope you are enjoying the wheel. My stepson complained about the brake pedal resistance as well, so I removed the "shim" from the rig and he enjoys it much more. He is a Forza player
However, when I use the setup for nr2003, I understand why it is there. On a road course, especially when enabling the manual clutch, the pedal is too soft for extreme deceleration (e.g Turn 1 at Watkins Glen) or "heel and toe" road course technique.
At the end of the day it is all about feel. I've adapted each way and greatly enjoy the wheel, especially on nr2003.
I highly recommend the openwheeler seat and rig to mount the wheel and pedals. I purchased one for my stepson for his birthday this year. When the pedals are mounted, you get a much better feel. I run nr2003 at about 50 percent length. It is comfortable.

I have Thunder Road on DVD. I went looking for this NASCAR movie on Amazon and found Thunder Road is also available on BluRay. I can't imagine why. Granted, I have Smokey and the Bandit in HD-DVD. https://www.amazon.com/Thunder-Road-Blu-ray-DVD-Combo/dp/B00S4YGW56
